⌈Physical DescriptionβŒ‹
Despite all the ugly stories you've heard about the one handed Captain Hook, James is very attractive. His shiny purple hair reaches down his neck and frames his face in the front. Here and there, a few strands fall in the middle of his face, but he tends to ignore it. It gives him a more menacing look. On the topic of his face, Hook has lovely red eyes that add to his villain appearance and with that sharp pointy teeth that make him look like a shark. Some stories say that Hook sharpened them tat way, while other tell the tale that he was born with them.

Of course his best feature, is his body. Being a pirate and a lover of swimming, Hook has maintained a perfectly tanned, and toned body. He has arm muscles, leg muscles, abs, pecks, he's got it all. Thankfully they aren't the ugly muscles where it looks like he worked out too much. There perfect in size and just show his brute strength. And of course with his abs, Hook is obviously slim, but in a good way. So to the part you are all wondering about, his hand! Yes his right hand was lost to the cursed Pan, but he works with it. In fact it's almost like it never happened now. Before he had to use the hook but one of his right hand men found a new temporary fix using magic. It's almost like his hand is back, but it was given back by a cursed magic, dark magic if you will. Who knows how long it will last or what the consequences are, but it probably wont be good.

⌈Potential InterestβŒ‹
James is in a secret relationship with Soleil, but in the future will fall in love with Eloise Kingsley.

⌈Powers/Abilities
βŒ‹
|| Current Powers ||
✦ Mesmer || Being of the Mesmer race, James holds the power of manipulating peoples bodies without even touching them. Almost as if hes a puppeteer.
✦ Empathy || With a single touch Hook can know and understand a persons every emotion at that time. If someone is going through lots of pain and suffering, Hook can lay a hand on their shoulder and feel that exact pain and suffering. At times he can use this as a defense, a way to manipulate, or even just a way to understand someone better. Most people don't know when he uses this power, and he can use it freely when ever he feels he needs to do so.
✦ Psychometry || He has the power and ability to touch objects and find out the makers and users of the object. Basically, all the history the object has been through will be transferred to his brain as he touches it.
|| Future Powers ||
✦ Pathokinesis || In more basic language, an advanced form of Empathy. Instead of just being able to feel the emotions, he can also manipulate them by increasing or decreasing it's intensity, removing it completely or even adding it. If he chooses, James can even channel his own emotions through someone, so basically a reverse empathy. It's scary stuff, but it comes with it's consequences.
✦ Psychic Navigation || A sub-power of his empathy, James will have the ability to track objects or people within his mind. But although he can find the general area, nothing is specific. The only way he can find where they specifically are is if he is in close range to the person or object. It's easy to think of this power as a magnetic compass within the mind. Wherever the target is, there will be this almost magnetic feeling pushing towards the direction the target is at.
✦ Memory Absorption || An advancement of Psychometry. With this ability Hook can not only absorb the memories of an object but the memories of a person even. This is a difficult power to put into action, but it really gives him a higher up on a person. Basically he can touch someone and search through there memories, like a library, find a specific one, and then play through it in his own mind.
✦ Mnemokinesis || An advancement of Memory Absorption, the most difficult power to perform in all. With this power Hook has the ability to manipulate memories. He can delete them, make them disappear temporarily, add memories of his own, and even slightly change a memory so the victim will have a whole other idea of something. When this happens the person being used will return to normal as if nothing happened and go on believing that whatever changed was reality. If the power does fail in the process, Hook can be in serious trouble. He could lose memories of his own and severely damage his brain.

⌈SkillsβŒ‹
βœ” Sailing || He's a pirate captain, what do you expect? He is very skilled in sailing, probably the best pirate for the job out there. He doesn't let anyone else sail his ship because he's the only one who could truly get out of tight situations. He could have sailed the Titanic to it's safety if he wanted to. Not to mention he's been sailing for quite some years.
βœ” Ordering People || As silly as it seems, James has quite the knack for bossing people around. He always gives clear cut orders and to his surprise everyone follows him. Either because he's menacing or just so attractive.
βœ” Sword/Gun Fighting || Hook has never been a fist fighting kind of guy, but he's amazing at sword and gun fighting. He's right handed so he became a little sloppy after losing his right hand, but he learned how to use his left. And now that he temporarily has a right hand again, he's basically ambidextrous.
βœ” Educated || Unlike the stereotypical pirates, Hook is extremely educated. Knowing very complicated English, having amazing writing and reading skills, knowing an average amount of math and so forth. He gained this knowledge from books he had found around.

⌈Habits
βŒ‹
❖ Spacing Out || Hook can't help but space out at times. It's not truly his intention to drown people out and basically ignore them.
❖ Humming || He tends to hum a lot, especially when he is sailing, cooking, and when he's cocky, fighting.
❖ Playing with His Sword || There is nothing he loves more than his sword, and when he is sitting around bored, he'll twirl around his sword or even practice.

⌈You can never truly understand who I am or what I stand for, so why try?βŒ‹

⌈PersonalityβŒ‹

Flirty | Short Tempered | Loyal | Reserved | Unforgiving | Elegant | Loving

The main thing to know about Hook is that he's a huge flirt. He loves da women, what can he say? And not only that but he is really good at flirting. He has a way with words and he knows exactly how to compliment a girl, or guy, if that's what he fancies. Women seem to find him quite irresistible. James is also very short tempered. He can't really help it though. Sometimes he just gets so angry for no reason and when this happens, things can go wrong. He will say things he doesn't mean, break things, slam things, pick fights, or just storm off and ignore everyone. He can be reasonable and he wont get mad at silly things. But if you do something he doesn't like then he will lose his shit.

Surprisingly Hook is very loyal. To his crew at least and also women that he has close relations with. He doesn't believe in cheating, it's just not in his book. The only time Hook has ever betrayed someone, was when he took the children of the clans from Pan. But that's a different story. It was truly revenge, and that can't count, right? I mean betrayal was already in order and the trust between Pan and Hook were long gone for sure. Also, believe it or not, but Hook is quite reserved with his true feelings. Whether that be regret, his secret longing to be with Pan again, what he really feels about a woman and so on. It's really difficult to have Hook share his true feelings. He has really only shared those with Pan and barely with Soleil. It's been a problem ever since his trust issues came along after Pan and the Lost Children betrayed him. That has also led him to being quite unforgiving, sadly. He tends to hold grudges, but you never know, people can change.

Hook's nicer traits include his loving-ness and his elegance. Yes, two traits that are very unfitting for a pirate. But who cares, Hook is already a pretty odd pirate. Unlike most of the Lost Children, James grew up always wanting to be proper and polite, especially to those of the female species. He bows, uses proper aliases and even eats like a gentleman. It's quite surprising to see Hook this way, especially because of all the stories that have deemed him differently. He can also be very loving. Almost kind in a way. He definitely knows how to empathize, and that is what gets him far in life for sure. His crew seem to actually like him, and that makes Hook happy.

⌈HistoryβŒ‹
Most of the degrading stories you've heard about o'l Captain Hook are typically false. The true story about him is long, complicated, and depressing.

Well where to start. Did you know that I was part of the Lost Children? I bet you didn't~! Yeah it was a good time. Pan took me in and I was buddies with all the others. I got along with every one for a long time, and Pan and I were like brothers. It was all good until they figured out I was a Mesmer. I mean I didn't even know until I accidentally used my powers on one of the other Lost Children. We had gotten into a little argument and I got so angry that I forced the little guy to almost jump off a cliff. Pan found us and stopped me, I was terrified and I had no idea what was going on. Then Pan banished me, told me he never wanted to see me again. Apparently I had gotten off easily, because later I found out that Pan had been taking out all of the Mesmers. I don't know why, but I was so angry and I just wanted to get back at him so badly. So i decided that he was my enemy, I gathered a crew and before I knew it, I had become the King of the Pirates. Then the greatest thing for my crew and I had happened. The three clan leaders had children. Children that could be stolen, children that could ruin Pan. Stealing children from their parents wasn't really my thing but... you know, a man gets desperate. I took them, put them in the real world, then watched the chaos that erupted in Neverland. I was pleased until Pan attacked me and stole my right hand... He cut the damn thing off. And how did it get this way? It felt like yesterday that Pan and I were embracing, and now I had never felt so betrayed in my life.

Well lets get onto a lighter subject. You know what I enjoyed? Meeting Soleil.

So how did I meet Soleil and why is she so special? Well that my friend is a secret, but I can definitely tell you the tale of how she became one of us! Well one day the crew seemed to have gotten antsy, so I suggested a vacation of some sorts, if that's the way you'd like to look at it. We departed from my lovely ship and traveled around some random island we happened to stumble upon. I have to admit, it did feel nice to have some solid ground under my feet, but I sure do love being on my ship... Any who the crew and I searched around some forest to find maybe some spring to bathe in and relax near when all of the sudden I spotted a... damsel in distress, I would say. She seemed to be staring at the bottom of a lone little spring, as if she had lost something. To my surprise she heard me and my fellows and turned her head in our direction. With a smirk on my face I told the crew to wait as I emerged from the bushes to greet the gorgeous lady. I elegantly strolled over and stood in front of the woman, and with a swiftness I bowed and held out my hand for hers. Very smooth, I know. Then continuing with my streak of properness, I asked her if she was in need of assistance as she had seemed trouble. After she explain her story to me, I stood and flipped my hair. Water, my best friend, it would be no big deal to help her in this time of need. I "hmm"'d and then smiled. Then with a wink I walked up to the water and dove straight in, clothes and all. The spring was abnormally deep, but that didn't stop me. I swam to the bottom and searched the sandy floors for the sword the girl spoke of. Finally I gripped the hilt with my hand and quickly swam to the top. I took a deep breath then gave the girl another grin. After returning to the shore, I returned the sword to her to hear a chuckle from the bushes where my crew resided. I turned around glared at them through the leaves and they shut up just as quickly as they had started.

I returned my gaze to the woman before me and properly introduced myself with my name, "James Hook", then I asked her if she had a destination I could escort her to. She gave me her name and all I could think of was how lovely it was. It made sense though, a beautiful name to fit a beautiful lady. After she told me that she had no where to go, my face beamed, and I cut right to the chase, "Well my dear, I can't leave you alone here... Who knows what could happen to a pretty girl like you. How bout this, I have some friends, the ones you heard chuckling back there, and this may be hard to believe, but... well, we are pirates... How would you like to join us? I'd-We'd love to have you~!" She gave me a question I didn't quite know how to answer, trust, pfft... so I smiled and said, "You just gotta believe." Damn I thought I sounded like Pan right then and there. But I couldn't really take it back. And so she did and so far we have lived happily ever after... If ya know what I mean... *Ahem* WHAT?! I didn't say anything... YOu must be hearing things young one... Calm yourself.

So that's my tale. What do you think? Quite a short but good one if I do say so myself~!

Kensington, London. A quaint little district nestled in the western fragment of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, it’s notorious for being the best shopping alley across the expanse of England. With it’s plethora of boutiques, bakeries, antiques and entertainments, it isn’t a wonder why civilians of all social spheres flock to the cobblestone walks, each length teamed with artfully crafted oaks. Though, despite the boulevard providing endless thrills for this eclectic medley, only a select few have the first rate heaven of residing within the Victorian flats looming in the backdrop...even a smaller percent of that elite class being a full fledged family. And yet, despite the odds, this is precisely where our story takes wing.

As twilight descends on the abandoned focal square, the winds holding an iced spite from the North, it is here that the true face of Kensington springs to life. Those aforementioned high class patrons are bustling about in their homes, each one ruffled with anticipation for whichever soiree is being fabricated that night… however, one family in particular is scampering about a tad bit more than it’s neighbours. The Kingsley household, with it’s 5 members, call home to the second largest suite within this sectioned off heaven; Number 14 on Bloomsbury Avenue...and, while impressive, it has a pricetag to match it’s prestige. However, with a highly regarded lawyer and socialite as parents, the father and mother respectively, money has never been an issue for this purebred name. Though, if one was judging their class by the standards of their children, one would have to scoff at the notion of them even glancing at Bloomsbury. Even now, as Mr. & Mrs. Kingsley are preparing for an evening laced with champagne, dancing and laughter, the rambunctious attitude has yet to cease. While the mother hounds the two youngest, the Prince and Princess of the family, to quell their racing argument, the father has busied himself with doling out strict instructions to the eldest, the tertiary guardian of Apartment #14… yet, the head’s parting words will soon be all for naught. Unbeknownst to Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley, their beloved children are being carefully watched by a figure that has only existed within the sister’s goodnight stories; Peter Pan.

Meanwhile, upon the Mainland, the typical summer climate has been chilled to wintry blanket, white snow encasing the earth and ice protecting the sea. Sensing it’s nonofficial king’s absence, the magic within this otherworldly realm has receded from its inhabitant’s everyday lives, most now struggling to carry out even the most undemanding actions (such as flying or changing forms). Though that isn’t the most pressing concern at the moment.. no no, it’s far from that. The ship of the infamous pirate captain, James Hook, has been spotted not too far off the coast line, currently held in place by the frozen water’s greedy embrace. However, it’s only natural that they would attempt to make a movement to seize the Mainland at this point..what better time to do such then when the all powerful Pan is away?

Thankfully, the King, like always, is two steps ahead from the pirates; before leaving to retrieve the Heirs, the Lost Children were given explicit instructions. While under the Second-in-Command’s constructed administration, this group of orphans are to stalk and track the movement of the crew, attempting their best to keep the scoundrels off the land...and, if need be, fight tooth and nail to protect the beaches. However, the pirates have a similar interest regarding the Lost Children; capture and interrogate them to reveal Pan’s whereabouts, his plans. After all, with luck, maybe the King has disappeared for good?

Image

As the Lost Children and Pirates begin to generate foul play with one another, the tribes have begun to do the same. Tensions are starting to arise between the three races, the lack of their Heirs sprinkling even more stress unto their councils more so than before. In fact, accusations are now being casually dispensed, each clan eager to pin the blame on another...some even targeting their King, Peter Pan, for his neglect to provide protection. However, the guardians are holding hope that the King will follow through on his promise, each one busy scouring the mainland foreigns of his return.
