⌈Physical DescriptionβŒ‹
Roan is a stout 5 foot 1 with a muscular build and young boyish figure. He has short dense arms that are often exposed and browned from tank tops and worn tee-shirts. His wide hands are almost always tucked tight in the pockets of his tattered boot cut jeans. His sunflower eyes and small face is framed by shaggy maroon hair that he has in common with his sister. Unlike her's it holds a slightly lighter hue though and it falls to his neck and often gets tangled in his eyes. More often than not Roan goes barefoot, and his feet are often cut or even scared because of it. His clothing rarely ranges from tank-tops and worn jeans, but on hot days he often wanders about in his swim trunks as he will on occasion dive from the ship into the sea to cool off.

⌈"If you think I can't pull my own weight because of my size, then you officially have the observative ability of a moron." βŒ‹

⌈Potential InterestβŒ‹
Roan doesn't care about love or attachment, especially to any girl. He has a tenancy to have a rather hard shell around others, especially new people. But potential is a strong word, Roan hasn't however, spent any time with anyone his age.

✦ Daggers/Swordplay || Since Roan was very young he was fascinated with blades and swords. He keeps his small dagger on him at all times and is very accustom to fighting with it. Despite his interest in the subject, Roan has yet to trained with any sword.
✦ Hand-to-Hand Combat || Roan's father taught him a number of self-defense tactics as a child, all of which he practices routinely. Most include his dagger and close targets. Roan always pays close attention to the people around him so be careful not sneak up behind him.
✦ Fishing || I his free time Roan fishes, but never with a pole. Instead he uses and maintains a number of homemade fishing spears tipped with anything from bone to obsidian. On a number of occasions he dries and stores his caught fish in his quarters.

Any other important information

❖ Talking to Self || Being slightly paranoid since his parents death, Roan looks for comfort in himself, which often comes in the form of reassuring or having decisive conversations with his conscience or β€œan inner twin”.
❖ Gambling/Bets || Roan loves to win. Anything from a toss of a coin to his own life is a deal he would accept in order to win. He loves to feel on top, which contributes to his over-competitive spirit.
❖ Gritting teeth || To release anger or fear or both, Roan grits his teeth. This is one of the ways he outwardly states his emotions, despite his attempts at hiding them.

β™₯ Blades/Knives || Roan was trained in weaponry mostly from being around his sister, but the only form that really caught his attention besides firearms was knives. He likes the versatility mostly and hand-to-hand combat that comes with wielding something close to his body.
β™₯ Guns || Second only to knives, there is some power Roan finds in shooting a gun. He has occasionally snatched his sister's without her knowing, but everyone seeing him as to young, Roan has yet to own or be trained with a gun of any kind.
β™₯ Being Outside || Feeling cooped up indoors too long is never appealing to Roan. He has grown quite accustom to being outside on the ship most of his day.
β™₯ Swimming || What with being near the sea so much, he has grown familiar with the water and swims frequently.
β™₯ The Crew || Having felt no sense of family for some time, the crew of pirates act as a makeshift home for Roan. He loves each of them like family, though he wouldn't admit it.

✘ Nightmares || Since the death of his parents, Roan has vivid nightmares that have him screaming at night and even scared of sleeping.
✘ Lost Children || They live on land, Roan lives at sea. They are loyal to Pan, he's loyal to Hook. What is there to like?
    ✘ Over-Controlling Adults || Roan hates feeling inadequate or irrelevant. Therefore anyone who looks down on him because of his age has officially made an enemy. {continue for more dislikes}

βœͺ Sharp Ears || At a very young age Roan was taught to listen for what you can't see. His ears are highly sensitive and he doesn't sleep well as a result.
βœͺ Adaptation || Roan has never been intimidated by new situations and takes little time to get comfortable.
βœͺ Loyal || If he can believe in someone's values he will fight to the death if necessary at your side. But anything to break that trust occurs don't count on his help again.
βœͺ Strong Imagination || Having enough idle time leaves him with his thoughts, and his imagination has nothing to do but run rampant. Sometimes he even forgets where he is.

⌘ Sharp Tongue || Without anyone to tell him otherwise (god knows Scout wouldn't) Roan has developed his own sailor mouth that anyone besides another pirate would hardly tolerate. He also speaks where he shouldn't and has no hesitation to share his opinion, even if it's well, the opinion of a 13 year-old pirate.
⌘ Competitive || Anything you want is worth fighting for in Roan's eyes, and if you don't compete, why play?
⌘ Hot-Headed || Roan has a short fuse and doesn't tolerate much. Patience was never his strong suit.
⌘ Loud mouth || As a sea-bound 13 year old, inside voice is more of a suggestion.

Hothead | Rambunctious | Determined | Loud | Helpful | Explorer | Tough

Roan has grown for 13 years into the person he is today, who is at first glance, an unstable kid with little ability to sympathize with others and gets mad or over-exited easily. What many don't see immediately is his tremendous capacity to hide and mange his emotions. He is easily stronger than some twice his own age mentally and emotionally, traits he gathered from coping with the loss of his mother and father at the young age of 10. After which he didn't talk and barely ate for nearly two months. Without such trauma in his life, Roan would come off as a very, almost completely different person. That experience shaped Roan into a fairly reclusive boy who doesn't share with anyone much. But after someone takes time to understand him they will see an average adventurous pre-teen who speaks out of turn and had no concern for his own well-being. He often scrapes and bruises himself on various clumsy excursions and self assigned explorations and is regularly bandaged or bleeding from head to toe. But once Roan opens up to another person he is playful and even friendly. Between hours spent spear fishing and exploring unknown territory, his hotheaded nature begins to crumble and he will even consider bringing up conversation. As for emotion, there isn't much to tell. Roan blocks a majority of emotion that he feels or more, doesn't feel because he despises feeling weak. As he experienced in the short time with his father, emotion is weakness. Anger and intensity are more what surface in place of sadness and grief for Roan.

Being in the position he has gladly accepted, Roan has grown into a regular sailor. But sometimes others (adults specifically) underestimate his abilities as a crew mate. Mostly stemming from his need to be useful and never a dead-weight, Roan keeps up with anyone bigger than him and is constantly looking for approval from his crew, family more like. His sister on the other hand is someone he looks up to. While he keeps it quiet, has always wish he was a little more like her. Scout has protected Roan since the death of both their parents, and while she never smothers him, he feels like he can take care of himself. Despite his aversion to being treated like a child, Roan loves his sister more than any person. She is more than his sister and guardian, she's the closest thing he has to a best friend.

Kensington, London. A quaint little district nestled in the western fragment of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, it’s notorious for being the best shopping alley across the expanse of England. With it’s plethora of boutiques, bakeries, antiques and entertainments, it isn’t a wonder why civilians of all social spheres flock to the cobblestone walks, each length teamed with artfully crafted oaks. Though, despite the boulevard providing endless thrills for this eclectic medley, only a select few have the first rate heaven of residing within the Victorian flats looming in the backdrop...even a smaller percent of that elite class being a full fledged family. And yet, despite the odds, this is precisely where our story takes wing.

As twilight descends on the abandoned focal square, the winds holding an iced spite from the North, it is here that the true face of Kensington springs to life. Those aforementioned high class patrons are bustling about in their homes, each one ruffled with anticipation for whichever soiree is being fabricated that night… however, one family in particular is scampering about a tad bit more than it’s neighbours. The Kingsley household, with it’s 5 members, call home to the second largest suite within this sectioned off heaven; Number 14 on Bloomsbury Avenue...and, while impressive, it has a pricetag to match it’s prestige. However, with a highly regarded lawyer and socialite as parents, the father and mother respectively, money has never been an issue for this purebred name. Though, if one was judging their class by the standards of their children, one would have to scoff at the notion of them even glancing at Bloomsbury. Even now, as Mr. & Mrs. Kingsley are preparing for an evening laced with champagne, dancing and laughter, the rambunctious attitude has yet to cease. While the mother hounds the two youngest, the Prince and Princess of the family, to quell their racing argument, the father has busied himself with doling out strict instructions to the eldest, the tertiary guardian of Apartment #14… yet, the head’s parting words will soon be all for naught. Unbeknownst to Mr. and Mrs. Kingsley, their beloved children are being carefully watched by a figure that has only existed within the sister’s goodnight stories; Peter Pan.

Meanwhile, upon the Mainland, the typical summer climate has been chilled to wintry blanket, white snow encasing the earth and ice protecting the sea. Sensing it’s nonofficial king’s absence, the magic within this otherworldly realm has receded from its inhabitant’s everyday lives, most now struggling to carry out even the most undemanding actions (such as flying or changing forms). Though that isn’t the most pressing concern at the moment.. no no, it’s far from that. The ship of the infamous pirate captain, James Hook, has been spotted not too far off the coast line, currently held in place by the frozen water’s greedy embrace. However, it’s only natural that they would attempt to make a movement to seize the Mainland at this point..what better time to do such then when the all powerful Pan is away?

Thankfully, the King, like always, is two steps ahead from the pirates; before leaving to retrieve the Heirs, the Lost Children were given explicit instructions. While under the Second-in-Command’s constructed administration, this group of orphans are to stalk and track the movement of the crew, attempting their best to keep the scoundrels off the land...and, if need be, fight tooth and nail to protect the beaches. However, the pirates have a similar interest regarding the Lost Children; capture and interrogate them to reveal Pan’s whereabouts, his plans. After all, with luck, maybe the King has disappeared for good?

As the Lost Children and Pirates begin to generate foul play with one another, the tribes have begun to do the same. Tensions are starting to arise between the three races, the lack of their Heirs sprinkling even more stress unto their councils more so than before. In fact, accusations are now being casually dispensed, each clan eager to pin the blame on another...some even targeting their King, Peter Pan, for his neglect to provide protection. However, the guardians are holding hope that the King will follow through on his promise, each one busy scouring the mainland foreigns of his return.
