Oliver isn't a guy you can just ignore. It's not that he's extremely handsome or anything- he's just so tall. Standing at 6'3" with a wide, solid build, the dragon has gotten used to people literally having to look up when speaking to him. Truth be told, he finds it rather amusing and it isn't uncommon for him to tease someone about it. With his height being what it is, it doesn't help that he walks confidently, shoulders back and head held high. He carries an alluring air around him, his whole aura practically radiating confidence. Ollie also has a certain rugged handsomeness about him that is appealing to most he meets. His facial features are defined, his jaw square yet usually hidden beneath a short beard that he attempts to keep well groomed. His dirty blonde hair is kept shaven short on the sides and the top slicked back for the most part, unless he's feeling lazy (which is often) and he'll let it grow out to just right above his shoulders. He smiles a lot, revealing straight, fairly white teeth in a lopsided grin.
For attire, Oliver is casual in what he wears due to his job as a blacksmith. Alternating between dark brown, black, and a reddish pair of leather type trousers, he usually always has a stained, white shirt on with the sleeves rolled up. You'll never see him without a gold ring on a chain around his neck.
In his true form, Oliver is 45 feet long and 14 feet tall. He's not the largest dragon out there, but he isn't small by any means. His wingspan is anywhere from 58 to 63 feet wide. Due to being a dragon whom breathes fire, Oliver's scale are a dark, maroon color and are rough to the touch. They provide heavy protection to where a normal human's sword, nor his arrows can penetrate them. Fire doesn't faze him at all.

| O D D I T I E S |
Across the whole span of Oliver's back he has a mark that actually looks like an old burn, yet it is a birthmark in the shape of a large dragon.

âœĻ Sarcastic ✧ Confident âœĻ Humorous ✧ Protective âœĻ Passionate ✧

Although he's lived longer than most, and you would think he'd be wise and quiet, Oliver is actually quite the opposite. Well, he is wise (for the most part), he's just definitely not quiet. Almost every remark that passes the dragon's lips is dripping with sarcasm. As if he can never be serious, even during stressful times he'll say something cocky or off the wall just to break the tension of a conversation up (though it tends to do that opposite). His human facade had given Oliver a new boldness, causing him to not bite his tongue before he speaks freely about whatever it is he may feel. To some he seems like a jerk with a little too much confidence, when in all actuality he uses it as a defense mechanism.
He has a natural, playful demeanor once he gets to know someone. He likes to joke around and it's odd if he can't make someone chuckle at least once during their conversation. Due to not being afraid of what he says, the dragon usually says things people just simply would not. Which, this causes those he talks to to be taken back by him to the point where they just have to laugh. Despite trying to distant himself from people emotionally, it's safe to say Oliver becomes attached rather easy. It doesn't take him long to grow a bond with someone, and that's when the protectiveness sets in. Ollie is protective without fault. He would defend someone he cared about with his last breath if it came to that.
There's many things the dragon is passionate about, but one of the main things is creating. Over a decade ago he found a knack for forging, and then started learning the things to become a blacksmith. There's just something about fixing things. Changing something's shape and making it your own. For Oliver, becoming a blacksmith was the closest thing to normalcy. So, for him, doing that is being human which is something he's wanted for most of his life. When he finds something he loves he is nothing short of passionate about it, giving that thing (or person) his all. Sometimes he gets so wrapped up in things he can't see anything else.
All in all, there's many sides to Oliver Quill, and truth be told he's still trying to figure himself out.

Oliver has your typical dragon abilities, well, of a fire breathing dragon, that is. He can breathe fire out of his mouth, both in his human form and, naturally, his true form. However, where his vocal cords aren't formed for that type of "thing" in his human form, it is fairly painful. He is stronger than the average human and his healing capabilities are more than 10x faster. He does not fall ill to normal illnesses although, strangely enough, is allergic to pixie dust like most dragons. If he comes in contact with it he swells up (an allergic reaction), and itches for hours after the dust has been washed off. If ingested it can actually be quite lethal. He also has a soft spot for gold. Dragons are notorious for stealing it for absolutely no reason at all, simply drawn to it. In his dragon form his scales are like steel armor, impenetrable by most things. However, his belly is fairly soft and a weak spot. Along with that, so are Oliver's eyes. He can't see very well, and the eyes of a dragon are one of the first thing hunters go for. Other than that, almost all dragon parts can be formed in his human form, this includes his wings.

| S T R E N G T H S |
âœĻ || Quick Learner || Oliver picks up on new things quickly.
✧ || Inhuman Strength || Due to being a dragon he is very, very strong.
âœĻ || Forging & Creating || What can he say? He's good at his job.
✧ || Lightening Tense Situations || Ollie has gotten good at joking around and lightening the mood in times when it is, and sadly isn't, needed.
âœĻ || Protecting || Oliver is loyal and protective of those he grows close to.

| W E A K N E S S E S |
âœĻ || Pixie Dust || Like stated above, it causes him to blow up like a fish and itch like nobody's business. Plus, if he were to swallow a bunch of it, it could literally kill him.
✧ || Marlowe || The eldest daughter of Lord and Lady Kerrigan has weaseled her way into the dragon's heart. He cares for her and her well-being, and he knows she's something that could be used against him.
âœĻ || His Belly || Oh no- Please, hold your fat jokes. In his true form his stomach is a vulnerable area.
✧ || Sarcasm || Ollie's tongue has got him in trouble on more than one occasion. He just doesn't know when to shut up sometimes.
âœĻ || Gold || He takes it every time he sees it, no questions asked. There's just something about it that he's drawn to. Not so good when working with the wealth of Courtmoor, is it?

âœĻ â€ĸ His Job â€ĸ Although, Oliver doesn't look at being a blacksmith an actual job, per say. He enjoys what he does and he is, believe it or not, excellent at creating new weaponry pieces and forging things from the flames.
✧ â€ĸ Swordsmanship â€ĸ Over the years Ollie has gotten good with a sword and practices often on a dummy he created.
âœĻ â€ĸ Telling Tales â€ĸ Since the dragon is, well, "old.." He's picked up many stories over the years. He likes telling tales, even if they are just a stretching of the truth of his "heroic adventures" and how he's slain "many a dragon-" even if that dragon may just be the one within himself.

| H A B I T S |
✧ Snickering/Snorting:: Oliver is bad about snorting and or snickering at someone if he thinks they're lying or just plain obnoxious. He's been told in the past that it is "just rude."
âœĻ Humming:: There's been many times people have walked in and caught the blacksmith humming while he works. Although, he never does whistle.
✧ Teasing:: Ollie teases people regularly, especially if he's fond of them.

Dracfort, Courtmoor

| H I S T O R Y |
( Sorry in advance for the drawn out history. Oliver is old as dirt, okay? XD Feel free to skip over, it is just mindless ramblings. :P)
Oliver Quill was born many moons ago, left for dead because he was actually born a runt. Not too long after he was born an older couple came across him. At this time, the dragon had shifted into his human form and was crying. The couple thought he was simply a poor baby left by parents who didn't want a child. How they should have known everything isn't what it seems in Courtmoor.
Four days later was when Oliver shifted back into his true form for the first time in front of the couple who took him in. He was laying in the wooden crib the husband had built, and when the wife, Emily, walked over to pick him up and feed the small baby, what she saw was far more than expected. She screamed, stumbled back and pointed at the crib when her husband, Daniel, jumped from his chair and asked, "What's wrong?"

"T-The baby... He- He isn't a-..." But she couldn't finish, covering her mouth and looking away. Daniel, fearlessly, walked over to the crib and looked down, but he didn't scream. He didn't run. Instead, the man reached down and scooped up the wiggling baby dragon who was looking up at him without fear.
"Daniel! Don't!" Emily scolded, her eyes wide, visibly shaking now.
"Emily.." Daniel sighed, turning to show her the dragon who had, once the husband picked him up, shifted back into his human form almost instantly. "He's still just a baby, and he needs us."

So, they kept him. And they raised him, just like a regular child. He grew fast and before long he wasn't the small baby they found crying out in the forest. He was no longer a runt. Emily and Daniel ended up naming the dragon child Bero, which actually means "bear-" they knew he was going to be a big man. When he got around age six or seven it started to become harder to hide what he was. Instead of shifting back to human whenever they were around, or scooped him up, he shifted uncontrollably. It was hard to try and pretend he was "just a regular child," and it was hard to gauge when he wasn't going to shift. Therefore, they rarely could take him out in public. He was their ghost child. The child no one knew they had.

Eventually, one evening, Emily attempted to take young Bero out to the town square with her to do shopping. Back at this time, creatures weren't even looked at as pets. They were looked at as abnormalities, things to be killed and purged from Courtmoor. To Emily's dismay, young, reckless Bero shifted into his dragon form, chasing after a pair of chickens. The whole town square went into a frenzy. Screaming. Running. And then there were the hunters.
Immediately, the creature hunters ran for Bero, and Emily ran after them.
"Home! Bero! Run home!" Emily screamed, and that was her worst, and last, mistake. Bero listened, surprisingly, and took off running home. It was before the young dragon learned to fly and he was followed.

The hunters had taken Emily for "homing a mythical being" and when Bero returned home to Daniel, the hunters followed close behind. "Bero, run... Run far away. Don't come back." Daniel frantically urged him as the hunters beat down the door. He knew right when the young dragon ran into the house, face tear streaked and breathing hard. It was always a risk both him and Emily knew they were taking. But Bero, he was their son.
"B-But... I'm scared!" Bero cried as Daniel grabbed his shoulders.
"And you are strong." his father promised him, wiping away his tears. And that was when the door gave way. "Now run, Bero, run!" Daniel yelled, pushing him towards the back door. So, Bero ran.

For a long time Bero lived on his own. It was hard, especially at such a young age, but he made it, he survived. Years pasted and Bero met a woman, Naomi, and fell in love with her. She accepted him for what he was, and that was strange for him. He was twenty-four at the time- still fairly stupid to the ways of the world. Although he knew her only but a few months, the dragon pictured his life with this human woman. That is, until she was taken from him. Naomi had an illness that she didn't tell Bero about, and five months after they met the young woman, only twenty-two, pasted away. Bero was devastated. It seemed like those he cared for were always taken away. Always killed. He felt cursed.

More years pasted and Bero eventually stumbled upon House DeGray at age twenty-eight. He had always heard of the house, since it was over Dracfort, but had never actually seen it. When Bero met Lord Alabaster (Arlo's great grandfather), the lord immediately was drawn to him. Maybe it was his height and just how strong the dragon seemed, but whatever it was, he wanted him working as one of his knights. Bero found it odd, because Alabaster didn't even know he was a dragon, but nonetheless he took the job, simply to have a place.
At age thirty-three Bero met another woman by the name of Rosalinda. She was beautiful and immediately attracted Bero's interest. He didn't know, but she was a siren. She told him all the things he wanted to hear, and he fell hard for her. After a year of courting her, Bero asked for her hand and she accepted happily. Though, she didn't know what Bero truly was yet. After they married the dragon decided to tell her, which was a huge mistake on his part. Rosalinda was disgusted. Although she was a creature too, having never told him, she found what he was to be vile, and she wanted nothing to do with him. Her love, she so fondly proclaimed, was fake. She never felt anything for Bero besides lust. She left him almost immediately, confused and alone once more.

Since then, Bero decided to hid his true form away, even from himself. He began to rarely shift into his true form, disgusted with it like most humans are. Eventually, he had to fake his death within House DeGray because years kept passing, and he wasn't aging at all hardly physically-wise. Alabaster was devastated. Once he done so, Bero traveled to Eriborough- he's lived there ever since.

Close to two decades ago Bero began going by a new name to blend in with the mundane better: Oliver Quill. He picked up being a blacksmith and it's been his passion ever since. Nearly three years ago he began working for Lord and Lady Kerrigan, being their personal blacksmith, working out behind the palace in a small shop they built for him. He fixes and makes all the armor for their knights, and basically does what he's told. Not long after he started he grew close to the eldest daughter of the Kerrigans- Marlowe. Since he met her he knew something was just different about the girl, and ever since he's always felt the need to protect her. He's taught her swordsmanship and how to defend herself fairly well, yet still likes keeping a close eye on her himself.
Somehow, Marlowe managed to talk her father into letting Oliver go to the festivities in Dracfort. Oliver doesn't like the idea of Mar being shown as some prize to be won, and is simply going to keep her safe.

None by blood that he can remember, those who cared for him having long passed.
