Rebeccah O'Connor had just finished writing one of her exams and was just walking down the front steps of her private school when her
cellphone went off in her pocket. With a sigh, the brunette pulled the mobile from her jeans' pocket and looked at the screen for only a second before answering.
" Hello," she asked, waiting patiently as her fathers assistant, Gina, filled her in on the family meeting Liam had called. " Fine, I'll be there in ten." Rebeccah hung up without waiting for a response as she quickly set off to walk home. She literally lived only ten minutes away from the school she part-time attended. The joys of being a sixteen year old who had a very influential father in New York City.
She pulled out her earphones and plugged them into her phone, clicking on the music application to at least have the short walk to listen to some good dance-type beats. Inserting the earbuds in her ears, Rebeccah picked up her pace so she'd arrive on time and avoid trouble.. for once.
The teenager arrived seven minutes and thirty seconds later, having had sprinted across some dangerously busy streets and down a few alleyways in order to achieve this. She turned off her music and pulled the buds free from her ears and the cord from her phone, not even bothering to kick off her bright red converse as she walked into the living room and sprawled on the couch. She had dropped her black and white plaid backpack on the ground off to the side and made sure to keep her shoes off the couch itself; her mother would absolutely murder her if she saw shoes on her furniture.
" Hurry up," Rebeccah muttered as she flipped onto her back and held her phone up above her, re-reading a text she was planning on sending to her cousin Carl.
Hurry up and get over here; family meeting. NOW.She figured that would work well enough to persuade the male to get himself in gear.
