Making a desioton that could very well get himself killed Jake pulls out his own phone. " this is the O'hara line. It's safe enough for you to make one call." he hands it to his protectee " make it count." he says before walking to each window closing the curtains. He could kind of understand what Rebeccah was going through, that didn't giver her the right to be as rude as she was but he kind of got why she was so upset.

Rebeccah stared at Jake, doubt crossing her features as she felt the small mobile be slipped into her hand. Wouldn't he get in trouble for this? And who was she supposed to call? Her father had specifically said he would be the one to call, no one else. The teenager turned her gaze to the screen as she looked through the contacts, not sure if Blare was in there or not. If not, Fiona would be since she was Jake's sister and who would be with her brother? Fiona, of course.

She knew her brother wasn't so good at actually answering his phone so, instead of dialling his number, she settled for Fiona. With the click of a button, Rebecah lifted the phone to her ear and listened. One ring. Two rings. Three..

Pick up, pick up..

Her lips moved as she thought this but no actual words came out. Cool blue eyes stared at the closed curtains with annoyance as she heard the light click that told her someone had, in fact, picked up after all. She didn't wait for them to speak first.

" It's me," Rebeccah didn't bother to say her name, she was the youngest female in her family so it'd be quite obvious who she was. " Is Blare okay?" At this point her eyes flickered to Jake before returning to the curtain, her eyes calm for once.

Letting out a relieved sigh at Fiona's words, Rebeccah allowed herself a small smile. Good, he wasn't hurt too bad then. She'd been worried when the bullets had been going everywhere and, especially with her brothers track record, terrified he'd end up with several more bullet holes in his body. Which he definitely didn't need any more of.

" Jake's fine and, as far as I can tell, no damage whatsoever." She glanced to the male as she said this, raising her eyebrows as though she was waiting for him to argue that point. " He's taking his job quite seriously too," she added, rolling her eyes. That'd make Fiona glad as it would tell her that Jake was being extremely careful about everything. " Anyway, I have to go. Jake only allowed me one call," Rebeccah paused for a moment, her eyes thoughtful. " Would you like to speak with him?"

" Alright," Rebeccah responded quietly, " And thank you Fiona, for the shoes too." With that said, she disconnected the call and, after making sure Jake was prepared for it, she tossed his cellphone back to him. " Thanks O'Hara," she murmured before adding, slightly louder. " Your sister said to tell you; lay off the brooding, it doesn't suit you."

" Anyway, now that I feel a little assured about that, I'm going to have a shower." She stood and stretched, feeling her stiff muscle protest. " Towels would be in the bathroom, I assume?" Rebeccah looked to Jake as she asked this, her eyes showing how much she just wanted her space.

" Sweet," the brunette muttered as she swiftly walked down the hall and into the bathroom, the door closing a little louder than was necessary behind her. She hadn't meant to do that, she thought in surprise but she shook this off as she pulled a large fluffy white towel from the closet. Rebeccah hung it up as she started the water, waiting until it was a good temperature before pulling the thing that made the water come out the shower head.

---skip---

She felt refreshed as she stepped from the tub and grabbed her towel, rubbing the water from her eyes before wrapping the fluffy material around her and securing it by tucking a corner under the little makeshift dress she had going on. Rebeccah sighed as she wrung out her long brown hair over the tub, it always seemed to soak and retain the water, before grabbing another smaller towel to dry off her hair a bit. She hung this up to dry as she picked up her clothes and left the room.

" Shower's free," Beccah called to Jake, swiftly stepping into the bedroom to close the door behind her. She wondered if there was any clothes in that mahogany dresser and quickly went to look. Pulling open the top drawer caused Beccah to have to hold in a laugh. It was full of underwear and bra's but that wasn't the humorous part; it was the lingerie her pale eyes had seen that caused her small outburst. Closing that with another light giggle, she opened the next and found dozens of shirts and, in the drawer below that, jeans. Some were feminine but most were for a man, that much she could tell. Something seeming odd to her, Rebeccah walked over to the tiny closet and peeked inside, seeing skirts and a few extremely revealing dresses inside. Shoes lined the bottom of the closet, mostly heels, and took up every inch of space on the floor. She bent down to get a look at the sizes, most were either a size 6 or 7 which meant Rebeccah would most definitely be able to wear them.

" So, whomever stayed here last liked his toys dressed up.." The teenager muttered under her breath, hardly surprised as she held her towel to herself and stood. Apparently, this was according to Quinn, most people enjoyed dressing up just to have kinky sex. She'd told Rebeccah that when the girl had turned 10 and the girl had never forgotten.

With a shrug, Rebeccah pulled one pair of heeled sandals and walked over to the dresser again to have another, closer, look. She pulled a pair of shorts, a white long sleeved lace top and, after rummaging through the underwear drawer, a white bandeau to wear underneath. These were the most respectable bits of clothing she could find other than her own boring t-shirt, jeans and red converse.

She dried off before throwing her hair up in the towel and got dressed, hardly uncomfortable in the outfit as it was something she probably would have worn at one time or another anyway. Rebeccah gave a light sigh as she decided to put the heels on later, if she ever got to leave this place, and walked out of the room to the living room area. She was drying her hair the entire short walk.

Noticing Jake was still sitting on the couch, she stepped closer before speaking softly, " The shower's free, you know.."

Shaking his head Jake turns and looks at Rebeccah. " Oh, thanks." he says walking in to the bed room and grabbing a pair of dark blue jeans and a comfortable button up shirt. Then he walks in to the bathroom and turns on the shower.

After the quickest shower in his life Jake steps out of the shower, dries off then throws on the clothes he brought with him. Opening the door he walks in to the main room. Taking up his sitting position on the couch he says " You know your old man better than me, when do you think he'll call?"

------------------------------------------------------------
Fi smiles at Blare, " She's fine. A little miffed at my brother but all is well." then pointing at his phone she asks " How's Carl? did her make it ok?" she was worried about the young O'Connor, he had a habit of getting himself in to trouble.

Rebeccah sighed as he got up, quickly taking Jake's spot on the couch and stretching out comfortably. She didn't bother to say you're welcome because, as she parted her lips to say the words, Jake was already up and down the hall. There'd been no point in it.

She found herself quite surprised as the male stepped into the room after what only felt like a few minutes, sitting back on the couch. The teenage girl lifted her legs and shifted her position, now sitting cross legged on the couch, as Jake plopped down. " Harsh," she muttered, shooting an only-semi joking glare at the older teen.

" You know your old man better than me, when do you think he'll call?" Jake says easily, not even bothering to look at Rebeccah. She felt her blood begin to boil as her anger rose within her but, like she'd been told, she kept good track of it as she looked over at him. " It depends on how things look," she replied, her anger starting to dim as worry replaced it. " If he thinks things are going well, a few days to a week, but if they don't look so good then maybe a couple of weeks.." She hated her own answer, even though every word was the truth.

" I'll hope for a call within the next few hours," Rebeccah mumbled under her breath, " For both of our sake's.."

The blush growing more pernounced on her cheeks and she looked away from Blare. " I'm happy I get to work with one of the best men I know." she knew that they would take the Corleans down together but she was terroifyed of loosing him. And if it came down to it, she knw she would make her clan proud by giving herself for the life of the O'Connor. It was how it had always been.

Jake looks at the young O'connor, his heart broke as he finally relized how worried she must be. With a small prayer that she wouldn't kill him, he pulls her in to an awkward hug.

Rebecaah let herself be pulled into the hug, welcoming the comfort, at first. She hated that it had to be Jake, it had to be her bodyguard and someone, of all people, who really disliked her. She pushed him away, not angry any more but more embarrassed as she realized he'd read all the worry she was feeling. The girl stood up quickly, her movements graceful even for her speed, and stared at him. " What were you..." She trailed off, not bothering to finish speaking as she turned and walked away without another glance at Jake.

Upon entering the kitchen, Rebeccah immediately went to the fridge and opened it roughly as she looked inside with her pale eyes practically glowing with frustration. There was no way she was going through lockdown while sober. Absolutely not happening.

Anyone in her family had a tendency to drink and kept their refrigerators well-stocked, which she counted on as she looked into the cold appliance. There, on the shelf was several cans of beer as well as two mickey's, one of tequila and the other of whiskey; Jack Daniel's to be specific. They had obviously been opened and had a little gone but Rebeccah was pretty sure there'd be more, unopened, bottles in the cupboards as she pulled the whiskey out. She didn't like this particular whiskey much but preferred it over tequila anyday, much like most of her family. The teen twisted off the cap and took a long swig of the liquid, it burned her throat a little as it went down but the feeling didn't hurt her; it reassured her, calmed her.

She remained in the kitchen for a few more minutes, slamming the door of the fridge closed as she chugged as much of the alcohol as she could while leaning against the counter and her head back. In only a few minutes, Rebeccah had gulped down just over half of the bottle, leaving half left. She licked her lips as she set the bottle on the counter behind her and sighed, feeling the warmth grow inside her.

Another moment passed before she picked up the bottle and, the cap in her hand, walked back into the main room. She maneuvered her slender body around the corner and sinking into a chair, crossing her legs beneath her, all without looking at Jake even once. Sadly, the sixteen year old felt accomplished by doing this as she muttered, " Gotta love family habits, they're soo hard to break." Her eyes on the T.V, Beccah brought the mouth of the bottle to her lips and took another gulp before lowering it and setting it between her legs.

Now, she glanced at Jake out of the corner of her eye. He was attractive, she would give him that much, with his facial structure hair and eyes. It was his personality she didn't like all that much and, she'd told him that when they were really young, back when she'd first met him, though she doubted he'd remembered that long ago. She'd been three, at least, and very opinionated; never holding anything back. He'd been training to become a bodyguard for her family though, at the time, Rebeccah would have never dreamed her'd become her own.

She glared at Jake as he took the bottle, " Well, I'm not drunk yet so we're good.." Rebeccah felt like murdering him but settled for standing and walking over to sit beside him, pouting. " Please, give it back?" She asked nicely, though she wasn't that badly bothered. There was more booze in the place so she wasn't in danger of having nothing.. But the whiskey was probably the only alcohol that she'd actually put up with while still sober. After she got drunk, well, anything was fair game.

" Liam doesn't even care or he would have smacked me across the room at the house, or do you not recall." She murmured as pale eyes stared over at the male, he was obviously trying to ignore her as he kept his hand behind his back. The hand holding her whiskey. She didn't mention that he was probably so sidetracked that that was why he hadn't taken if from her.. Over-protective father of hers. She couldn't drink but he would be absolutely glowing with happiness if she picked up a gun.

After receiving no answer, she gave a sigh. " Fine, want any food?" Rebeccah stood easily, no wobbling whatsoever, and walked to the kitchen. Though there was more alcohol right there, practically at her fingertips, she didn't move to touch it. Though, after a quick look through the freezer, fridge and cupboards, she quickly realized alcohol and pizza pockets were the only items on hand.

" Um, are we surviving on water and pizza pockets then?" She asked smartly as she walked back into the living room, her eyebrow raised. " Since I'm not allowed booze, that's kind of all there is." She plopped down on the chair again, sitting sideways of course, and sighed as she stared pointedly at Jake.

" Fatty foods, water, and a babysitter... I'm dead."

At Jake's outburst, Rebeccah found herself hiding a smile as the bottle was shoved back at her in his anger. Suddenly, she didn't care what Liam had told her. She didn't care about much as she stood and, revealing her small smile, took a large gulp of the liquid. " Thank you," she said primly as she strode from the room, leaving his question unanswered. Wasn't it obvious enough?

She didn't like how he'd treated her but, thinking back on how she'd been acting all day, she deserved it and Rebeccah knew it as she walked into the bedroom, not even bothering to shove anything in front of the closed door; the only thing between her and her bodyguard. He wouldn't check on her for a while, or she was hoping anyway, but the girl was pretty certain. The window was still open, she noticed, though only a tiny bit. But that was enough to make her feel a little relaxed as she sat down on the bed and leaned back against the headboard.

I want out of here. I want out of here, now.

This was the thought that ran through her mind as, over the course of the hour, Rebecca took smaller and smaller sips of the alcohol. As each sip grew smaller she could feel her head begin to buzz. Good, it reminded her that she was still here.

The O'Connor felt a little guilty as she stood and placed the near-empty bottle on the bedside table, her eyes on the door. She knew she should apologize, say there was no excuses for her behaviour, but she couldn't make her feet move in that direction. Instead, she found herself walking over to the wall right beside the window and peeking out cautiously. Was someone out there waiting to kill them? Or, more likely her? Rebeccah shook this off as she quietly opened the window and stuck her head out and, after putting on the sandals she'd found, she sat on the window sill and slid out the window; feet first.

Once she was standing on the platform of the fire escape, Rebeccah wobbled. " Stupid heels," she muttered as she started down the metal stairs. The O'Connor probably stuck out in her clothes but hopefully as just some girl to others. A rather drunk one, she thought as she tripped and grabbed at the railing. All thoughts of the Corleon family went out the window with her as she fought to keep herself upright with her fuzzy mind as she started walking down the alley to the street.

Rebeccah turned, feeling dizzy as she did so and threw out her arm to grasp the wall. " What do you want?" She said haughtily, her ice cold eyes on the gun he held. She nodded as though this small object had answered her question which, in fact, it sort of did. " Oh, you're a Corleon and you're going to kill me," she tilted her head to the side as she blinked, trying to focus her eyes better. She'd really screwed up this time and, suddenly, she wished she'd listened to Jake and his stupid comments about the windows and staying inside.

She could feel herself tilting and cursed the heels she wore, " Aren't you going to shoot?" The sixteen year old gave a sigh as she pulled all of her long brown hair to fall straight down her back. He wouldn't miss, not being so close.

Rebeccah shrieked as he kicked out, causing her to drop the gun. She let out a loud scream that was cut off as a bag as pulled over her head and she was thrown somewhere, hard. She assumed this was like a normal kidnapping where the victim was tossed in the trunk and, a the sound of the trunk closing, knew she'd guessed it. Her face felt hot and stuffy in the bag so she didn't scream, knowing that would just make it worse. She didn't bother lashing out as she lay there silently, that would only hurt her and she knew it.

Suddenly, the movement stopped and she heard doors slam. A rush of cold air told her the trunk had been opened mere moments before a hand roughly grabbed her arm and pulled her free from the car. She couldn't see where she was walking and stumbled a lot but the hand kept her up and moving forward. Her sight issue of sight was fixed when they'd apparently reached their destination and the bag was pulled from her head. Rebeccah glanced around, feeling quite overwhelmed, and her expression became one of disgust.

" I hope you don't sleep here," she said haughtily, blatantly ignoring his words as he left the room. The teen stayed where she was, not wanting to take any chances, and brought a hand up to her face. " What have I gotten myself into this time?" Rebeccah mumbled under her breath, clearly upset with herself. " They're all going to kill me," this wasn't directed to her kidnappers, although they worried her too, but her own family. She also found ehrself wondering if Jake was okay and assumed he was, after all, he hadn't left when he'd been instructed otherwise.

Rebeccah was tired and she tripped as she attempted walking over to the door, stumbling and almost falling if she hadn't reached out to steady herself.

" This is why I should listen to people," she muttered as she started to fall over, " Jake knew what he was--" Her hands came down on the shelf and she found herself wishing she'd just dropped to the filthy floor as she felt her palms tear open. The contact had cut her off, replacing words with a sharp cry of pain.

Pulling her hands away, she stepped back and stared at her dirt covered hands, blinking back a few tears as she stared at the bleeding gashes that now covered the soft flesh of her hand. The broken glass on the shelf had definitely done a number, the girl noted as she kept herself from squeezing her hands into fists to keep the dirt from getting further inside the wounds.

" Thank God I got my tetanus shot," Rebeccah muttered as she winced and, finally growing tired of waiting, carefully stepped over to the door and knocked. Despite the alcohol she'd induced, the situation had sobered her up pretty well and she was tired of being in this dirty, smelly room. She wanted to be able to sit without getting hurt on something. " Hello?!" She called, knocking again. She was not going to test the door. No way in hell.

" I just want to go home," she mumbled as she moved to lean against the wall beside the door, having difficulty keeping her eyes open. " Daddy and Blare will be furious," Beccah sighed as she forced her eyes open and tried to scan the room. Just as she'd thought, the only other possible exits were windows and they were boarded up. This really was her own personal version of hell, right here. Lovely.
