Name: Feara Rai Alabaith

Age:20

Description:Fear is a strong woman, one who has beauty as well. Her hair is long and dark red, and usually kept in a braid. Her eyes a bright blue and skin light but not pale. There is also a scar right above her heart.

Alignment: Feara is the leader of the rebels.

Where she is from: Feara is from the City of Alabaith, born and raised in the castle, being that she is the late kings daughter.

History: Feara was born in the castle a year after her brother. Growing up she was doted on, much to her dislike. She was the kind of girl who played with her brother in the mud, played with swords and then in the evening dressed in pretty dresses. When Ferin began learning sword play she begged their father until he agreed to let her learn. As she trained with different weapons she found she preferred a battleaxe. She took all her lessons seriously progressing quickly and matching their best warrior. When her brothers 15th birthday rolled around she didn't see much of him anymore as he was always busy with being trained to be king, but she could tell that his mind was becoming dark. On the day of Ferin's 18th birthday their father was murdered, throwing her world into chaos. Within a month Ferin had taken over and her nights were long and terrifying. She began packing, placing her armor and favorite battleaxe in a hidden cave by the forest. After the third month of avoiding him, Ferin walked into her room, a mad look on his face and a dagger in his hand. She had been preparing for bed and backed up against the window.

"You'll not do it! You'll not take my kingdom from me!" he growled and lunged, plunging the dagger right above her heart, missing it and the major artery by a mere inch. Letting go of the dagger he pushed her out of the window. Incredible pain coursed through her and she closed her eyes waiting for death. She landed in the moat, the feel of the water shocking her into action she quickly swam to the the edge and pulled herself onto the shore. Adrenalin coursed through her as she ran into the forest, making her way to a healer she knew to be riding there.

Stitched up she made her way to the cave with her belongings and gathered them up. The healer had agreed to accompany her, hearing her story and plan to usurp her brother. They made their way to different villages spreading word and rumor of them, bringing others to their cause. Soon the organization grew and gained influence, only a few of the nobles joined their cause, but secretly. Presently she is in their hide out overseeing the weapons being made and planning.

Likes & Dislikes: There is not many things she dislikes besides her brother and traitors. Things she likes includes a warm fire, dragons, and victory.

Equipment: Feara has her battleaxe, which was a gift from her father. She also has her new armor. It was golden and beautiful, as well as strong, a gift from a blacksmith she took in when he lost his home. Other than that she has the small dagger that was plunged into her heart.

Biggest Fear: Feara is deathly afraid of magic, though she has the strength to push through her fear, it paralyzes her from time to time.

Current Location. Feara is currently in the rebel base.

Today marks the beginning of the fourth year that King Ferin has sat on the throne. Rumors of the rebel army's plans circulate around the kingdom. The dragons guarding the castle are getting restless, snapping at random people going in and coming from the castle. Rebel bands have been ransacking army caravans and stealing their materials. Other than that it's been calm, as though a storm has been looming over everyone. People are preparing for it. Shops are closing residents of Alabaith are up and leaving,

Today is also supposed to be the festival of the Kings crowning but the decorations are minimal at best. All across the kingdom people are holding their breath, going about their normal lives as quietly as possible. The army has been stationed in every major city, leaving about three of their numbers at the smaller villages. They talk of their protection as they take over their homes for their own needs. You hardly see children out anymore, least they laugh and get a lecture about how there is nothing to yell about. The impending war has caused silence to fall over the kingdom. The Kings crest rest at safe houses for his army, as the generals have thought of almost everything.

In the forest the Rebel army prepares, their leader pouring over maps in search of what she believes will be their saving grace and turn the tides for them. Their outposts in the select few caves around the kingdom ready their messenger ravens and prepare to receive them as well. Correspondence is necessary in a war and what better they thought than a raven to carry their messages. There is a symbol that only the one's who have been part of the rebels long enough know signaling a safe house for them if they need it. The symbol is a crescent moon with a raven beside it. They do this knowing that they will need them at some point.

Feara slammed her hands down on the map. She had this disheveled look about her. Her hair had strayed from it's braids and hung loosely around her shoulders. Her eyes were tired as she hadn't slept in three days pouring over the maps relentlessly. She sat down and rubbed her eyes, trying to clear them of the fog that had clouded her mind. She looked over at the one who had been with her since the beginning, Hera.

"Why is this search so hard? Why does he keep eluding me so?" she asked her.

Hera smiled kindly, "Maybe it's because you need rest. I'm sure everyone will understand if you take a break."

"If my brother does not rest, how can I? As he sends his army out to control the subjects, how can I take a break?" Feara said.

"You're no good half dead either My Lady Feara." Hera said and guided her over to her makeshift cot. "They will be fine as long as you get the rest you need." she added.

Nodding, Feara laid down, and closed her eyes, immediately falling asleep showing just how exhausted she was.

Vulca strode through the quiet forest, leaves faintly crunching under her feet as she made her way to the lightly glowing cavern entrance. Brushing aside the mirage disguise like it was a curtain, she stepped inside with confidence and purpose and replaced the wall. Easily finding her way through the winding gem-littered corridor, she arrived swiftly at Lady Feara Alabaith's chambers. She had raised a hand to knock when the door swept open. Lowering her fist, she tilted her head slightly, almost in a feline manner. In a flash of recognition, she realized that Hera stood before her, concern furrowing her brow.

"Madam Hera," Vulca bowed to the brown-haired lady, "Is all right with Lady Feara? You seem very concerned." For a moment, Vulca wondered if the woman wouldn't recognize her. She wasn't usually in the base, and despite the littered glances of respect or the occasional bow, not many rebels knew her. However, she carried herself with an air of grace enough to part casual observers.

After a heartbeat of confusion, Hera bowed back. "Oh, of course, Miss Vulca. So sorry to worry you. The Lady is merely exhausted after all her hard work. What brings a mysterious mage like you into the heart of our camp?" Vulca nodded, pulling out a long, fancy scroll embroidered at the edges with smouldering runes. Her signature parchment.

"I have uncovered some curious information that I was sure that Lady Feara would love to see." Vulca unfurled the scroll quickly, laying it out on the desk. The layout of the castle on this preparation day sat before them in crisp dark ink.

Vulca was in the middle of outlining the map to Hera when a small sprite darted into the cave. The tiny woman looked like she was of the fire element, judging by the orange color pallet. Nodding to the sprite, she introduced herself. "Vulca. Welcome to the rebel base. Your help will certainly be needed." She smiled faintly, becoming slightly uncomfortable with the growing crowd. The hyper-ness of this sprite was something she didn't see much in the current dark days.

Almost sighing with relief when the Lady entered, Vulca bowed gracefully. She might not be good with crowds, but her father had hammered politeness into her head ever since she was very small. "My Lady Feara. I am well today, and you?" Vulca stepped back over to her map, beckoning the Princess over. "I discovered a map that will be of great interest to you. The plans for today's coronation." She explained the map again to anyone interested.
