Jonathan cocked his head to one side and then smirked when he heard the vampire's name he was planning on helping himself. He patiently listened to her words, trickling to him on the soft fall breeze and then nodded. "Well you've got something about you that attracts the supernatural now don't you?" he asked, hearing that she not only ran into vampires, but the wolves of the forest as well. Now she was sitting in the room with a werefox without truly knowing what he was. For all she knew he was completely human, and for now he was. His power was completely in check, making him human, while his smell was not noticeable enough for her to pick out as a human.

"I'm actually accompanying Lady Allana to the vampire layer tonight." Jonathan stated. "It would seem I ran into her last night, and I'm working on a journal entry about the unknown mythical world." He told her. "So if you would like to join the two of us, it might come in handy considering the vampire master has already taken a liking to you."

I opened my eyes to the dark room. It smelled of rain water and I glanced at the window. It was open. I whipped my legs around the bed and stood up. It was getting darker out. When I had fallen back asleep I didn't dream. That's theonly time i've been able to have a god day's sleep. As vampires put it. I stood up, my stomach rumbling. I ignored it and went to go wash. God, I'm not usually the one to go straight back. I would of run by now, I still want to.

Jonathan was surprised that she was so willing to trust him over such a short amount of time. He took in a deep breath and took her hand in his own and lead her out of the studio. "I promised I would go with Allana, so we'll have to stop at the inn before you two lead me to this vampire master." Jonathan stated, though it might have helped that he still hadn't told her that he was not human.

They went down the street and soon the sun was completely down when they found inn that Allana was staying in the night before. He lead Aislinn up the steps and softly knocked on Allana's door. "Hey, it is Jonathan, are you ready to head out and meet with these vampires? Someone else is joining us as well..." he added.

I had smelled her before e walked in the dorr of the inn. What was he thinking?! Bringing along a human to a vampires lair! I heard her, and Velcar had taking a like to her, maybe he would listen to her.... I oped the door slightly and got the key. "I'll eed to check this in first." I said trying to delay going. I hurridley went to the inn keeper and handed him the key.

Jonathan watched the two girls, and noticed that Allana was trying to delay their trip as much as possible to this master vampire known as Velcar. It was odd to see another vampire so afraid of their own kind, but then he could relate. Most werefoxes did not stay near one another because of their free will and territorial issues. This was one of the largest reasons he worked alone. When it came to journalism, he did not work well with others.

He followed Allana to the desk, then waited at the front door for both of the women. He truly hoped that Velcar had taking a liking to the woman, otherwise bringing a human into vampire territory would cause a lot of problems. He just hoped for everyone's sake that Velcar did care for this human girl.

~*~*~*~*~*~

Velcar had been up before the sun even went down. Being a master vampire, he was usually up earlier than the others in his coven. He took in a deep shallow breath and ran his hand through his swirls of red hair. Down the hall he heard some singing, which must have Deacon, he was usually up around the same time Velcar was, even though is brother was born into the vampire world four years earlier.

Deciding that he would enjoy a little piano playing from another vampiress and Deacon's singing, Velcar managed his way down the abandoned church halls, up into the coyer. He took a seat on one of the many benches and watched the moonlight filter in through the stain glass and hit Deacon with such grace to show off his beauty almost completely hiding the nasty scare on his right cheek. His voice carried over, lullying Velcar into a peace trance, though being more powerful, he was able to easily break free of the vampire's power. When the singing stopped Velcar clapped his hands. "Great... have you prepared for our guest?" Velcar turned to business almost immediately.

Shoving his hands into his pockets, Deacon kicked at the stage and snapped at the piano player to leave them be. Being a lower level and rather new vamp, she stood and hurried away with some fright about her. "You mean for that vampire girl, or the human one?" He demanded, taking a few big steps down the stairs. "I don't see why either matter."

Velcar sighed. "Bite your tongue, Deacon," Dray stepped out of the shadows and bowed to his master in red before returning his attention to his brother. "You did prepare for the arrival of our guest, did you not?" Dray asked and Deacon grumbled out a yes before turning back toward the paino. He never could win with his calm and collected brother.

Was this a bad idea bringing along Jonathon and Aislinn? The last thing I want is to ge them killed as well.. I turned around and walked out of the door to have moon light catch my skin. It made my muscles refresh and my skin cool. I turned toward Jonathon and Aislinn. I could smell them so much clearer than before. My vampire sences were at there peak considering it was night. "Maybe you two should cover up your scent somehow." I suggested. The last thing we needed was them to be smelt from miles away.

Sighing Aislinn shook her head, "How do you suppose I do that? I'm human, if I had magical powers maybe I could but unfortunately I don't." Biting her lip she found herself sighing again, "Sorry I didn't mean to sound rude or mean but I can't mask my scent." Aislinn saw the cemetery coming into sight and felt anticipation building inside of her. Was it because she would get to see Velcar or wondering what would happen to Allana, Aislinn didn't know. Glancing at the others she smiled, "I'll be fine either way, let's just worry about you, okay?"

"I must agree. The vampires have nothing against us, and according to my talk with Aislinn earlier, Velcar will not allow anything to happen to her unless she is willing." He started when he felt a chill go down his back. The church was eerie at this time of night, while in the sunlight it had beautiful stained glass windows, a dark black finish and chimes that twinkled in the wind. But at night the mist and fog clung around it, the windows looked as if to watch everyone's movements closely, and the graveyard to the right seemed to come to life with more fog. The trees crackled, followed with the chimes to give another hint of fright about the place. All this had caught the writer's attention, and soon he was jotting it all down in a small book of his so that it could go into a book later on.

Then the door opened, and a tall lanky figure stood there staring at the approaching group. "Oh look brother, the birdie brought some fresh friends for us to entertain." Deacon's playful voice sliced through the chilly air like a knife, causing tension to swell up in the hearts of the living. He was using his voice to bring fright to their new guests when Draygon stepped into the door way.

"I thought you had prepared us for guests..." Draygon scolded, his eyes not holding the same humor that his brother held. Instead he moved to one side of the double doors. "Welcome. Take a seat at the front row in the church, our Master will be right with you." He said, putting his hands behind his back like a good butler would do. Deacon, being a little more clumsy moved to the side as well and mimicked his twin brother.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm myself. I didn't know why but my vampire's instincs were kicking in and I felt my fangs slide out and my turning a bright red. I glared at Deacon, he was not the only one who could seem scary. I walked in after Aislinn, taking a seat at the front of the church. I could barely try to control my muscles not to fly out. I didn't know why I was in such a beast form tonight but the beast made me better at fighting if anything were to go wrong. Evan though I was positive I didn't have a chance against Velcar I could still attack the two up front.... My mind snapped to the present and I felt my eyes turning back into there icy blue. This was not a good idea! I should've run! My mind replayed me sying that over and over.

Jonathan stared at the two vampires that he passed and gave them a faint smile. Deacon narrowed his eyes, he knew something was wrong with the man that had just walked in. He could smellt he mists of the forest lingering around him like the musk around a wolf. His emerald eyes turned to his brother, who had blue eyes tonight and they had a private conversation before pulling the church doors shut behind the guests. Then they took their positions as they were told with their hands behind their backs, which were up against the door, and their eyes forward.

Deciding that he could not turn back now, Jonathan followed the girls to the front of the church and took in the different statues that leered at him as he went. He sat down next to Allana, feeling that she would need more of his support than the already favorited human girl. He examined the stain glass that painted Jesus praying to his heavenly father, or Saint John praying as well. Then he saw something move in the shadows that he should have spotted earlier because of the bright red-hair.

"Dont' frett," the man said, seeing Jonathan's expression when he came out of the shadows of a Jesus on the Cross statue. "I'm very old, and shadows tend to swarm me and my bright features." His voice was soothing, which frightened Jonathan even more because he was starting to relax without knowing how. "I'm glad you obeyed my words, Allana, and did not run." His lovely grassy eyes turned to her and took in everyone in his church. "Welcome to my home, my sweets. I hope you were welcomed with warm arms."

"I can't say I wasn't tempted to sprint out of town." I whispered. My guts felt like they were being ripped apart. I took in a deep breath and had to do my best not to gag. I wasn't used to the smell of death a vampire brung. And this place smelt strongy of death. I looked around and saw Aislinn staring at the piano for a momen then she snapped her attention back to Velcar. She seemed to be in thought.

My mind was retracing on how I had got bitten. "Allana hurry home or the vampires might get you!" My brother Timmy teased and I pushed him away, racing to the stream. I was fillling the bucket of water, it was a crisp cool fealing. But Timmy was pushed in the water by an unkown force. I tried to go get him, but my arm was held back by a strong grip. A man holding my arm, long dark brown hair and bright red eyes. I screamed as loud as I could but I had thought no ne heard me. He leaned down and made me make my neck exposed. He bit, it hurt badly for a moment then istopped because the vampire was gone. Gone like he had never been there. My mom came rushing through, but she noticed I got bit. "Go away, go away and never come back!" She screamed and ran off. I ran off as fast as I could and never looked back.

I snapped my attention back to the present. I was actually heading my way home. It has been years since I had been bitten witch only makes me 27 years old, evn though I look 17.

Jonathan watched Aislinn stare at the piano as well, then turned his attentions to Aislinn who seemed to be in a painful memory herself. It was almost like he was the only one in the room conscious that there were three vampires surrounding them that had a more powerful feed back than Allana, the vampire to his right had. Deciding it better to move the meeting along a little quickly, he turned his attention to Velcar's gleaming emerald eyes and spoke. "I don't see why you are threatened by a vampire who only passed through your territory because she was hungry for some rabbit." The fox started. He had gotten at least that much information from her while they spoke in her room the night before. "What will you do with her? I mean she has not broken any of your laws, if I'm correct. You don't allow anyone to feed off the unwilling. Her only fault was not coming to you and telling you see was in town." He took a deep breath once more, realizing that all three of the vampires that lived within the church were listening to his every word. "But if the town barely knows of your existence then how is an outsider minding their own business going to know that you have a coven just on the edge of town?"

The vampire moved around the petastool and leaned in on his knees. It was curious that this man, who smelled like the misting forest, spoke up for a vampire that only just met him the night before. How curious it was that he tried to make a valid point to why the woman would not have found the church full of death and decay along with many vampires serving under one master. He considered all the points of this stranger, then turned his attention to the piano as well, realizing that no matter how hard Aislinn tried not to look at it she still longed to rub her fingers against the ivory and ebony. "You're right..." he said, staring at the piano once more then jumping over the pedastool only to sit upon it with such grace that landing on the hard wood didn't even make a sound.

"Miss Allana," he stared, staring at the blue-haired woman that was no more than 17 in human years, at least a decade older than she appeared. "I am not faulting your for trespassing without my acknowledgement, but there must be a price that you pay. I declare that you stay within my coven for a year, learn the ways to honor vampire law, it seems you have been struggling to learn by yourself because your master probably abandoned you, and your family shunning you to the cruel new world. You will work with Draygon. He will be your master from here on out, and you will obey him as you would me. Learn the laws of our coven, and within the year you'll be given the option to leave... do I make myself clear?" he asked, just as Draygon moved away from the door.

Deacon stared at his brother, who always seemed to have fun with the new vampires of the house. But just as he was about to protest to Velcar he could smell someone in the distance. Another vampire, and it seemed that his power levels were not hiding themselves as if to threaten the coven. He was apparently after something. "Master," Deacon started, but Velcar was already well aware of their new visitor.

"Don't fret, child." Velcar stared at the door. "Go ahead and open the doors. We don't want him to worry anymore about his dear Aislinn." He stated while still staring at Allana. "Now what will it be my child?" he asked as the two blond vampires opened the double doors fo Halvard.

I hadn't thought about what I would say. But it seemed that Jonathon had. I was suddenly very thankful for the blonde werefox. "Now what will it be my child?" Velcar asked as the blonde vampires opened the door to let Halvrad in. He smelt of death and his aura was dead. He was another vampire. How many vampires will be here tonight? My mind wondered. I looked into Velcar's eye for a moment then dropped it, "Thank you Velcar, I will stay here for a year and be taught by Draygon." I said, my voice clear and my stomach and nerves calm. I had been planning to visit my mother, maybe see if she is alive but this would be better. And maybe she just didn't want to see me. I glanced at Aislinn then at Jonathon. I turned around and waited for the man to walk in, who was here for Aislinn. I wonder what will be of this.

Velcar waved his hand toward the piano and nodded. "Of course, Halvard." His voice was smooth and calm. "We love music just as anyone else, and it seems that she has been disobedient." A small smile played against his lips as he moved away from the statue of Jesus toward the far corner. I will inform others that there is a human in our mists, that way no one will bother the two of you." His eyes scanned the room before stopping on Draygon.

"Yes..." Draygon nodded his head lightly, before walking toward Aislinn. "Let me show you to your room, Milady. And once you've settled in we can make the proper preperations to make it a little more to your liking." His voice was soft, sweet, and charming, but not, nearly as luring as his twin brother Deacon, who was now positioned in the front row next to Jonathan with his eyes glued on Halvard. They both had their orders, along with the rest of the coven, who were still in their homes below the large church. It was not very formal to have the whole coven meet one vampire, at least in Velcar's mind. She'd meet them when she pass them, or spent more time around the home. Waiting for her reply, Draygon held his hand out for her to follow him.

He lifted his hand out towards me but I didn't take it. I stood up, my muscles relaxed. I saw Deacon staring at Halvard as Draygon led me to my room. Jonathon sat there as Aislinn played the piano. What would happen to him, obviously Velcar has Aislinn and Halvard taken care of. My mind wondered

Draygon stepped into the shadowed halls that slopped heavily into the Earth. Vampires were typically harmed by the daylight, which would give them good reason to burrow underground like moles. Though it did not mean they did not like the light at all. In fact, the further down they got the brighter the rooms were lit. It was something that Velcar prided himself in, was keeping the underground looking like it would be the Earth under sunlight. In fact there was a lot of plant life, even a small creek running through some of the rooms and across the hallway. It was as if he missed the land more than he liked his own eternal life.

After a long trip through was seemed like a forest, Draygon opened a door that was well carved to a larger ocean themed bedroom. "This will be where you sleep. There are no windows, so Velcar will not permit any coffins. I hope you like it." He said softly.

Meanwhile, up in the main room of the church, Velcar lost himself to the music. It was something he did not listen to often, due to the songs the twins often came up with. "So," he said after a short while. "You've taken up a human student this time?" It was an odd questioned, though Jonathan, but while he sat there he continued to make mental notes of everything that was happening around him.

"Thank you, Deacon." Allana said, not knowing what else to do. So instead she walked over to the bed, passing the beutiful coverings and sat. "What is this training Velcar speaks of?" she asked, looking up at the blonde vampire.

Timmy walked along the dark streets, encasing dark shadows around him. This now be the fifteenth town he searched with the very little cinamon scent that lingered on Allana. He was surprised that the smell of death hadn't completely devoured the remaining escance. He passed by a church a few times, scoping it out. It smell ed over powering of vampires. He would have to et a good meal and then go inside. Funny. A vampire living in a church how ironic. He saw a girl go down the street then she turned to an alley way.

Timothy walked quickly in behind her, matching her hurried footsteps until he was right behind her, lika a shadow in the night. He grabbed her arms and before she could scream sucked her blood, letting the creamy red lquid seep into his mouth. After a few moment she went pimp and he lay her body gently down. "Thank you." He whispered and walked back outside, his body now fully rejuvanated.

Aislinn chuckled, "Yes I'll be there." Seeing the path Halvard turned down she waved, "See ya!" Watching him leave heading to his house Aislinn smiled at Jonathan, "I'll see you around." She started to run back to her house since it wasn't far. Taking a deep breath of the night air Aislinn felt content for once and enjoyed her walk back to her house. I wonder what tomorrow will bring. Hopefully something exciting! Aislinn realized that ever since meeting Velcar, Allana, and Jonathan her life has become more adventurous. "Huh, I hope that's a good thing..." Seeing her house come into view Aislinn suppressed a sigh, "I'm sure father isn't going to be happy with me."

Jonathan watched as Aislinn vanished into the trees towards her home. He took in a deep breath before heading back into town toward the inn. Soon the sun will light the sky, he though, otherwise the vampires would have continued there sessions with one another in the church.

Deacon, still standing in Allana's doorway, crossed his hands over his chest. "He will want to go over the rules with you of the vampire community, and possibly even see what you are made of. We do well to train all our vampire-kin to work with one another and defend themselves from hunters. You never know when your life or your coven may be in danger."

Allana nodded slightly, and looked at the decorated walls. "Thank you." She mumbled silently. "I'm tired would you excuse me if I slept?" She asked nicely, turning her thin face toward Deacon. Her shoulders sagging slightly.

Timothy noticed the lightening sky, dawn was going to brake out soon. Right now was no time to brake into a vampire lair. Beside's he had been searching for his sister for awhie now and it all turned out to be false on what they had told him. He will go to an inn and sleep until darkness blossomed once more.

He came across a inn with a very familiar vanilla smell. He walked in and ordered a room and when her got there the vanilla smell ignited. His neres were hightened witch only made him more nervas. His sister was here and he was going to find her.
