Introduction
"You're up!" A little girl giggled at your side, you don't know her, but she is able to tell you everything before notifying the doctors that you are awake. "Hey? Wanna know why you're here?!" She had whispered her very words and kept her smile, but you could not speak too loud for her.
"[Insert your character's sex here] cannot speak you idiot." Another girl at the foot of your bed stood with her arms folded her her chest. She was older than the other and her skin was a dark brown. Her hair was dreaded and her eyes were a hazel-green with white pupils. "Just tell them why before the doc comes in and sees them. You know they won't tell them a word."
The little girl pouted and looked to you. Her eyes changed from dark brown to orange within seconds. "You are here because you are sick. We found you, me and Tony." She pointed to the girl at the foot of the bed. "Tony had to carry you here, I am too small, but she is very strong. She can't see you, but you probably won't believe me once you see how she gets around."
"We don't know if you were sick," Tony announced, "we just found you asleep and I carried you here. You were outside... right?"
The little girl nodded and whispered, "We are trackers." She giggled. "Tony is blind and I help her see. Wherever she is I am right there!" She spoke excitedly and ended up running off before finishing her explanation.
Hearing the small bare feet echo away she laughed. "Sorry, she has a one track mind. Here, I will explain." Tony sat down in the chair at your side, she walked as if she could see- no hesitation in finding the chair. "Me, Tony, and Trinity, the little girl with the giddy go happy attitude, are trackers. What we do is we go out at night and we look for any stray humans. Like yourself. If the human seems weak or it matches a specific description of what we were sent to track down, then we bring them to the E.R. you know? Like a regular hospital."
She smirked. "Only difference is that, when a doc finds you to be a perfect... hm... 'specimen'... you become... well... non-human. I don't know what you are, but you are in the [insert species of your character here] section. There are different species and different kinds of trackers. We are all made the same way, but the brain itself cannot change personality unless the person has already had a mental issue. So you were lucky to be found by us and not one of the psychotic maniacs that run around during anytime of day and eat or kill everything."
Tony stood up and smiled. "I have to go, the doctors are coming in to do vitals and I am supposed to be elsewhere. Good luck. Hope you pass your exams! It means we'll see each other more."
Trinity ran in before the doctor and hugged you tight whispering, "Don't talk, just listen." She then ran out taking Tony's hand and was heard giggling until the doors of the exit slammed shut.
THE DOC:
Walking into the room the doc looked at you with a stern discreet look. Pushing his long brown hair back he mumbled to himself, "I need to cut this shit off." He noticed you were awake and smiled. "Evening. You look great and I know right now you don't feel so great, but you will get over that in a couple of days. For now, you will be taking an exam. If you pass, you get to see the people who tracked you down and you will be showed to a room. But if you fail... well, we will see, the option varies depending on your score. Don't worry. It's a vision test too, so if you can't see so much, you'll be put in to be trained with the blind people. It will not be considered a handicap here. Just the same as wheelchairs."
He laughed and checked blood pressure as he spoke. Not once, like Tony and Trinity had mentioned, did he explain what had happened. "For your sake," he started leaving, "you don't fail." He left you there and there you stayed for hours without anything except tiny cups of water that the nurses were giving you.

"No, you didn't tell them anything like that. You told them the truth." The blind girl set the dumbbells down and faced herself to Trinity. "I keep telling you, do not feel bad about what you say to people- no how you say it. One day people will regret the things they say and it could lead to a very bad situation. Do you hear what I am saying to you Trinity?"
"Yes ma'am." She sat down just inside of the doorway and scooted her body over to the right looking in a mirror. "How do you think the doc and nurse will feel if I changed my looks?"
"Trinity... I don't know what you look like. I just know how you feel sweetie. Soft silky hair to your shoulders, your clothes are always cotton soft. You wear a lot of v-necks and a lot of pajama pants." She chuckled. "We have been partners for so long that if you changed your looks, I'd never find you. You have worn the same kind of clothing forever. It's like... you have a signature through your clothing."
"Yeah, but, it is an 'old' signature. It makes me feel... boring to myself." She then whispered to herself looking over to her shoulder-length brown hair. "I hate it."
"Well don't. I like it and my opinion matters." She went back to lifting the same dumbbells and this time with a smile on her face.
"When will they be here," Trinity said to herself.
"Excuse me, Miss Omega, but you need to head to the training room so we can see if this has effected your physical capabilities." a nurse stuck her head in and unlocked a door, gesturing for Omega to follow. Grudgingly she did and was shut in a wide room. In it were two girls, one lifting some weights and another looking in the mirror bat her reflection. She recognized these girls but felt a sense of hate to them. Waiting for her to wake up? As if this was a good thing?
Omega slunk slowly to the back where the weapons were and picked up a throwing knife. It was slight and felt good in her hand. With a flick of her wrist she embedded it in a target on the other side of the room. It was silent and only Omega had noticed it fly. Next, satisfied that she hadn't softened, she walked over to the swords. Picking one up Omega tested it on a dummy. Sliced into pieces in two seconds by her hand. She turned to the second one and did some crazy flips to slice it and 'dodge' it. Training felt good, it was one thing she was good at, though not a talent. Anyone can be strong if trained to be. Omega put down the sword and picked up a large pole. This skill was the one Omega had to work, like, several years. She ran, stabbed it into the ground and launched her self up. Omega did a twist in the air and landed on her feet, sweating and out of breath.
"Wow!" Trinity yelped out at the pole volt. "How'd you do that?" She stood up and ran to her standing almost the same height, but slightly taller. "Can you teach me that? That was amazing! Show-"
Her speech was interrupted by the hand of Tony. She had covered her mouth and looked in the direction of Omega. "Who is this?"
Trinity mumbled, but Tony had been speaking to the female she hadn't captured the scent of just yet.
"Did we catch you?" Tony asked in delight.
Wait, did she still have her fork? Elise panicked for a few seconds before finally finding it. How was it still there? Luck, she supposed. She hugged the fork for a few seconds.
"Love you, Mr. Forky." she mumbled.
She stayed like that until a nurse came in.
"You. Come with me," they said and left. Elise wasn't sure if the nurse was male or female... they were just creepy. She followed the nurse obediently, hoping that she wasn't being led to her death.
Why was all of this weird stuff happening to her now? This question, along with many others, filled Elise's 7 year old brain as she followed the nurse down the eerie-looking hall.
"Don't worry. We're only going to check your vitals for now." The creepy manlady reassured, as if (s)he could read Elise's thoughts. She shuddered at the possibility of that actually being true, and was finally led into a small, sterile room.
The nurse left the room and shut the door quickly. Elise heard a definite click of a lock, which led her to wonder what was actually in store for her.
Trinity had felt exactly a sympathetic attack in her own body and she shoved Tony slightly. "Shut up, okay? She doesn't want to be here. At all. So leave her alone. She doesn't have to train, but she will end up like you."
"Like me? No, she will never-" she shut her mouth and realized what Trinity was saying and put her blank stare to the ground. "Just stay away from me kid and watch your attitude to me. Trinity won't always be around and street smarts won't keep you alive." She walked away and sighed letting anger slide passed her breathing.
Trinity looked to Omega and whispered, "She doesn't mean it, but in case she does, just keep practicing. And I wasn't trying to say you got the pole vaulting from your genetic alternating, I was praising you." She looked passed her and saw the he/she nurse lock in one of the new girls. "I will be right back, please don't leave?" She ran to the door after the nurse left. "Little girl?" She whispered through the door to her. "Are you new too?"
She took a sword and cut apart dummies for what seemed like hours. At one point she fought a real person, a trainer, and won. Finally when Omega couldn't even stand she fell to her knees. Omega poured her water bottle onto the floor and stared at the tiny pool. Blood from a head wound driped down and mixed with the clear substance. She thought of mean things she could say to Trinity and Tony.
Omega forced herself up and tried another pole vault. Her body sailed through the air and as she twisted, everything went black and the only thing she felt as she slipped into nothingness was the thud of body hitting the ground and the agony; though she made no sound.
The light was dazzlingly bright in her face as she woke up. Something was wrong. As her vision cleared up Omega saw that she had four legs...skip ahead....she was a tiger. Frightening wires were hoked up to her. Green clad doctors worked in the room and comfused her. Everything scared Omega and she lurched off the table, dragging several things off the walls. The speed of her paws made her bump into several things. The hall filled with shouts and people charged her. Omega swatted several people aside and kept fighting until finally she was cornered. How weak she must look, a scrawny cat huddled against a wall when she could easily over-power them. "Sweetie, just stay there for a moment and walk back to the room when you're comfortable." the manlady nurse took every person away leaving the scared Omega against the wall to work herself out.
"You're lucky. I don't feel like being difficult right now," Elise replied to the voice. "Yup, I'm pretty sure I'm new." As new as I can get.
Why had she been locked in here? It was such a small room, and she felt as if it were supposed to be used for torture. She really wanted out of this room, and hoped nobody creepy or crazy would join her in the meantime. Maybe this new person could help her? Or maybe not. But it was still worth a try.
"By any chance could you let me out of this creepy room?" she asked hopefully. "Please?" She took her fork back out, just in case something unwanted happened. And then waited for a reply.

It was like that one time when she got shot in the wilderness, the night her mom was abducted, she was alone for two days but knew how to survive. She had made some tweezers out of sticks and had set to work digging the bullet out. It was painful, yes, but she had learned to cast pain aside. Dull her desires.
The manlady nurse walked by and tried to say something about what Omega was doing but she just let out a threatening growl. A needle got stuck in Omega's paw and she bit and scratched in fail to get it out. Letting out a tiger sigh, she goes back to tapping her paws. The only thing the staff did was leave me cups of water. They could not sedate me, according to them, because my stress levels were too high.
She put her dark gaze on her. "What are you? I didn't hear them say. And just in case you feel... like killing me, don't try. Even if you do hit me and you get your kill, the doctors and nurses will only do more work on you in your head. They will try to... 'fix' you. Fix you like they tried to fix me. One doctor said that I saw everything except how to see the person I was fighting. Of course, I thought nothing of it and I kept being myself. I was angry. I was... like you, even if you sit here and you deny it, but that is what I was. They didn't sedate me, they didn't hit me, they didn't show any sign of care either, just water and tubes everywhere. Then I woke up, but I couldn't see. They had waited until I was asleep to put me on some gas that keeps me alert, but kept my body paralyzed. I used to see everything, like you. They took that from me and forced me to be like the seeing. Forced me to be something I wasn't... anymore."
Her lips curled into an open smile and she laughed a little at the irony. "You think you're tough and rough and big bad ass. For what? For them to take away your legs, too?" She stood up to stretch. "You might be big and bad and tough and rough, but you cannot beat everyone. You want me dead, I'm sure of it, I can feel it. Behave in here, they will take care of you. They will let you out in a few days after the testing is finished. You can throw me around like a rag doll in the gym. Don't worry." She sat back down. "I'm not going anywhere just so you can keep your anger, just so you can't think of any possible way of niceness... though I doubt you will." She crossed her legs and waited.
Trinity heard the girl and she tried to look at her. "I can, but I will get in trouble." She thought about the first time she came in, how she had gotten out. "It's okay," she was talking more to herself, "I can do it." Trinity had been quiet about her own abilities and deformities that were forced into her no longer human body. "Back up," she whispered into the door. Her hands rubbed the door and she herself backed up exactly two feet. She looked around to make sure she was the only one around and her hands turned a dark green.
Seconds later, she grinned in a semi-demonic sense. Her irises turned a dark red and her hair turned into a devilish burgundy color. "PUSH," she screamed out and small strands of her skin pushed from her palms. The skin was rock hard, though very small, they took down the door, pushing it straight into the opposing wall. She hoped the girl was away from the door as she quickly turned back into a normal-looking girl. "Girl?" she whispered. "Did I squish you?"
She was embarrassed to be seen in her other form and she waited until she was fully done changing to run into the small room. "Girl?"
The doctors hooked her back up o all the machines and, weakened, she did what they told her to and fell asleep.
When she woke up, Omega was lying on the ground in a very scary pool of blood, human though, but her body ached all over. There was an especially painful throbbing in the back of her skull and she couldn't sit up. Tony and Trinity had been gone for the room for a while an Omega accepted that nobody would help her. Why would they want to help a destructive girl with a big mouth? So she just lay there emotionless, not showing any sign of pain or discomfort.
On her way there, Tony stopped in the hallway and felt a cold chill. Though she couldn't see anything, she had heard everything. "He won't make it. He needs a donor," a male doctor had proceeded to speak, "and no one in this damn hospital knows shit!"
He was angry and Tony had laughed. "Good for nothing doctors can't even hold a good supply of bloodlines of all the people that they keep hostage and kill, they can't find shit."
"Watch your language, Miss Grace. You know, if I was a doctor, I would have killed you on that sentence alone." It was a male, but he sounded a bit girly making it hard for her to identify.
"Whatever." she walked off and cleared her throat in embarrassment.
Though only a few weeks ago Omega looks so much younger as she holds her father's hand. Her father was a tall man with an after-shaven face and dark circles under his eyes which are brown and filled with worry. He didn't want to come back here where their mother had been taken and Omega shot. Her father bought her an ice cream and they were waiting for their train.
Soon it comes but something happens. A young boy runs past and doing so makes Omega lose her balance. Her father pushes her away from the ledge and falls, he doesn't have time to hit the ground though, the train zooms past and slams into him, crushing Omega's father beneath it's monstrous wheels. Omega stares blankly at the place where he had fallen and drops her ice cream, it splatters as the train crushes it. She feels like she's about to throw up, regretting her choice of cherry flavor. Oh no... The girl turns and runs, she runs until she is in the same woods as when her mother was abducted. Falling to her knees Omega stares at the ground.
Omega wakes up to feel her blood pumping through her and her heartbeat in her mouth. She's still on the mat but Omega thinks she can stand.
"Whoa." she finally said.
When her savior rushed into the room, she ran up and hugged her, mumbling a thanks, and going straight to questioning.
"Hi, I'm Elise. Who are you? Oh, wait, I know who you are. Never mind that question. How'd you do that? Where am I? Why am I here? Do you have an amazing super power or something? (etc.)" She took an occasional breath, but continued until her questions were becoming ridiculous such as "What's your favorite color? How are you?" and all of that unnecessary stuff.
Elise at least thought she was beginning to gain a new friend, but wasn't sure since she didn't really know Trinity yet. Maybe she should give Trinity a chance to answer? Hmm... yeah, that was probably a good idea. Elise finally calmed down to the point of being able to wait patiently for at least some answers to her questions. Well... as patiently as an excited seven-year-old could get.
"Are you okay? I didn't wanna hit you, I didn't did I?" She laughed as she started asking more questions and not answering the girl's. "Sorry. No one knows how I do it, but if they put you in the room that means they don't know what they did to you or how you will be affected." She giggled and looked at the fork the girl had. "I don't know if you will understand what I'll say though, you are very young and cheery," she squealed happily.
"They did some surgeries on you, they changed how your body works and what it can do. I hope they didn't mess with your head. You seem very nice." She kept her giggling going and then stopped to cover both their mouths. The nurse that locked the little girl up had been back. She laughed when she saw the door- she knew what had broken the magnetic seal.
Trinity looked at the girl and only shook her head as to tell her no speaking or moving. She peaked out the door and waited.
Elise just stood there, shaking, paralyzed with fear. And it wasn't fear for herself, it was fear for Trinity. She didn't want Trinity to get hurt for helping her. It would be bad on her conscience, and no doubt the center of her thoughts for... a really long time. Trinity wouldn't deserve to be held accountable for her childish pleading to be let out of that horrible room. If the nurse found them, she would lie for Trinity, saying that she had found a way out, and that Trinity was leading her back to the room, having found her wandering this... place. Yeah, that was a good plan, right? And if Trinity decided to be difficult and object, she would start laughing nervously and follow the nurse back to the small, claustrophobic, closet of a room.
The nurse looked around, trying to see if she could find the girls within a close proximity...
The nurse looked at her and asked, "Where are they?"
"Who?"
"The sidekick and the baby. Where are they?"
"How should I know? You see more than me. I didn't even know the new girl was here. The other one is such a... a bug. A hug bug that doesn't have any feeling. What's her name? Omega? She's in the state of mind that she is too good for the world. So, in about two seconds I will leave her in your hands or give her to the wolves... you know, the ones you people fucked up on?" She was angry and she stood up straight sniffing the air smelling a new scent, but didn't say a word. "Check the snack room. We both know how you don't feed us anyway. Maybe she was hungry." She walked passed her, but slowly, careful not to trip on anything.
The nurse wanted to hit her, but couldn't so she held her hands behind her back. "Fine."
"Fine," Tony mimicked not knowing if she was gone or still there.
"Miss Omega?" the man-lady nurse walks in and gasps at what Omega looks like. "You need to wash off, the scientist want to examine and talk to you." (s)he tries to pull Omega off her chair but she doesn't budge. "Just let me go straight there." she says. The man-lady nurse sighs and leads Omega down a bunch of hallways and then shoos her into a room.
"Good gracious, what happened to you?" the scientist in the room seem shocked by her complexion. "I bled, it's not that hard to figure out." Omega snaps as she lays down on the hospital bed. "You are a piece of work, you know that?" the one examining her head says
"Elise, her name's Elise, but I am going to call her Eli cause she looks like an Eli to me. Eli's are pretty."
"Trinity shut up okay?" She was angry, but confused. "Trinity, take Elise to her room and get her ready for her first night out. You're going to take her, so be prepared too. I know you can do it."
"But-"
"No buts, just do it. I have to get this one into play. This Omega girl, we know nothing about her. She thinks she's better and she wants out. She needs to get it together or she's going to find a gate out that she wished she never-"
"Tony?"
"What?"
"Try being nice for once."
"I did."
"Well, maybe something happened to her before we took her away from her life."
"We saw what happened!"
Trinity shrieked and grasped onto Elise's shirt nervously. She knew Tony could hurt her so she tried hard to keep her happy, even if she would never get hurt by her. "I'm sorry." She stood up and took Elise by the hand once again. Trinity's heart raced deep within her flat chest. "Elise? You have to wear something dark, mostly black, okay?" She hid her fear horribly.
Tony worked her way back down the hallway, she was rushing passed anything and anyone in her way, asking, "Anyone seen Omega? Anyone seen the new girl? Anyone see the new girl?" She was pissed not knowing what she looked like, she cried a bit as her face showed in great anger. "HAS ANYONE FUCKING SEEN OMEGA!" She screamed down the hallway near the examination room where Omega was. "I HATE THIS PLACE!" She kept screaming.
"Trinity? Why do I have to wear black? What are we going to do? Rob a bank or something? Because I don't want to rob a bank..." Elise was trying to lighten the mood a little... she wasn't sure if it was going to work. Everyone seemed upset in some way and she didn't know what to do to help out. And she was kind of scared by Tony, now. Tony seemed like the kind of person that would get annoyed and frustrated easily, and that can do harm in some situations...
Elise decided to stay close to Trinity as often as she could. Trinity seemed to know what was happening, and was more likely than anyone else to explain things to her.
"And why is Tony so upset?" she added as an afterthought to her previous questions. It was really bothering her, since she couldn't figure it out.
"TONY!" The doctor in the background was tired of her nonsense, her smart remarks, her ignorance to others, and most of all... her outbursts to anyone she didn't like. He grabbed her up and spikes flew from her face and spine. The ones on her spine detached from her body and pierced the front of the doctor, who screamed like a woman as he dropped- he wasn't dead, just in much agony.
No doctor paid him attention, they just kept close eye on Tony and Omega.
"Answer me! Tell me everything and I will walk away never to bother you again! you can't treat people like they don't matter you hear me!?" She kept screaming.
Trinity was nervous, but she smiled. Her smile didn't hide a thing, but she kept it for Elise. "She... she has a lot of anger inside. She can hurt us, but she won't hurt little kids. Only if...-" She stopped talking. "You have to wear black because tonight we go out. You missed training, but I can teach you okay? You will be a tracker. If you don't do it, the bad man will take you into his office and Trinity won't ever see you again." She started tearing a bit and looked down as she stopped at Elise's doorway, not going in, but letting her go in. "I'd come in, but... I would get hurt."
"You said Tony won't hurt little kids, but then you added an 'Only if' and trailed off. Only if what? What am I supposed to have been training for? What's a tracker? And how would get hurt for coming in here?" she gestured to the inside of her room. Elise wondered if she would eventually annoy Trinity with all of her questions. There were so many questions, and she wasn't going to stop asking until someone started to suffer from her questions. She still hadn't gotten a very clear explanation of where this place was and what it was for... but she had a pretty good guess for the second thing.
