When the door slammed into the opposite wall, Elise jumped in surprise. How was that supposed to be possible? She stood there, in the corner, shocked to the point of not being able to move. But her mind was going crazy trying to figure out what had just happened. The door... was slammed into... that wall... and she could have gotten crushed... but she didn't... but that may have just been luck... or not... and she didn't know who had been behind the door yet...

"Whoa." she finally said.

When her savior rushed into the room, she ran up and hugged her, mumbling a thanks, and going straight to questioning.

"Hi, I'm Elise. Who are you? Oh, wait, I know who you are. Never mind that question. How'd you do that? Where am I? Why am I here? Do you have an amazing super power or something? (etc.)" She took an occasional breath, but continued until her questions were becoming ridiculous such as "What's your favorite color? How are you?" and all of that unnecessary stuff.

Elise at least thought she was beginning to gain a new friend, but wasn't sure since she didn't really know Trinity yet. Maybe she should give Trinity a chance to answer? Hmm... yeah, that was probably a good idea. Elise finally calmed down to the point of being able to wait patiently for at least some answers to her questions. Well... as patiently as an excited seven-year-old could get.

Trinity giggled and looked at Elise nearly falling when she was hugged, but she hugged back with a more than inviting smile. "Hehe, you sound like me." She was only 4' 3" and her body was very tiny for a thirteen year old. She took her hand and ran into a back room where they kept the broken equipment, sitting upon the broken volleyball net, Trinity looked at the little girl.

"Are you okay? I didn't wanna hit you, I didn't did I?" She laughed as she started asking more questions and not answering the girl's. "Sorry. No one knows how I do it, but if they put you in the room that means they don't know what they did to you or how you will be affected." She giggled and looked at the fork the girl had. "I don't know if you will understand what I'll say though, you are very young and cheery," she squealed happily.

"They did some surgeries on you, they changed how your body works and what it can do. I hope they didn't mess with your head. You seem very nice." She kept her giggling going and then stopped to cover both their mouths. The nurse that locked the little girl up had been back. She laughed when she saw the door- she knew what had broken the magnetic seal.

Trinity looked at the girl and only shook her head as to tell her no speaking or moving. She peaked out the door and waited.

When Elise saw the nurse again, she started shaking, even with the comfort of having someone on her side. No matter what, that nurse freaked her out, and was bad news all around. She almost ran away, but knew it was a bad idea, considering Trinity was giving her a look that meant no speaking OR moving. What should she do?

Elise just stood there, shaking, paralyzed with fear. And it wasn't fear for herself, it was fear for Trinity. She didn't want Trinity to get hurt for helping her. It would be bad on her conscience, and no doubt the center of her thoughts for... a really long time. Trinity wouldn't deserve to be held accountable for her childish pleading to be let out of that horrible room. If the nurse found them, she would lie for Trinity, saying that she had found a way out, and that Trinity was leading her back to the room, having found her wandering this... place. Yeah, that was a good plan, right? And if Trinity decided to be difficult and object, she would start laughing nervously and follow the nurse back to the small, claustrophobic, closet of a room.

The nurse looked around, trying to see if she could find the girls within a close proximity...

Within the knick of time, Tony stumbled in. She had tripped over a shard of wall that had been from the door Trinity knocked back. "Ouch," she whispered out of a habit.

The nurse looked at her and asked, "Where are they?"

"Who?"

"The sidekick and the baby. Where are they?"

"How should I know? You see more than me. I didn't even know the new girl was here. The other one is such a... a bug. A hug bug that doesn't have any feeling. What's her name? Omega? She's in the state of mind that she is too good for the world. So, in about two seconds I will leave her in your hands or give her to the wolves... you know, the ones you people fucked up on?" She was angry and she stood up straight sniffing the air smelling a new scent, but didn't say a word. "Check the snack room. We both know how you don't feed us anyway. Maybe she was hungry." She walked passed her, but slowly, careful not to trip on anything.

The nurse wanted to hit her, but couldn't so she held her hands behind her back. "Fine."

"Fine," Tony mimicked not knowing if she was gone or still there.

Tony would shake her head and attract her gaze to the girl's direction. "You two know you are in big trouble right? What's your name new girl?"

"Elise, her name's Elise, but I am going to call her Eli cause she looks like an Eli to me. Eli's are pretty."

"Trinity shut up okay?" She was angry, but confused. "Trinity, take Elise to her room and get her ready for her first night out. You're going to take her, so be prepared too. I know you can do it."

"But-"

"No buts, just do it. I have to get this one into play. This Omega girl, we know nothing about her. She thinks she's better and she wants out. She needs to get it together or she's going to find a gate out that she wished she never-"

"Tony?"

"What?"

"Try being nice for once."

"I did."

"Well, maybe something happened to her before we took her away from her life."

"We saw what happened!"

Trinity shrieked and grasped onto Elise's shirt nervously. She knew Tony could hurt her so she tried hard to keep her happy, even if she would never get hurt by her. "I'm sorry." She stood up and took Elise by the hand once again. Trinity's heart raced deep within her flat chest. "Elise? You have to wear something dark, mostly black, okay?" She hid her fear horribly.

Tony worked her way back down the hallway, she was rushing passed anything and anyone in her way, asking, "Anyone seen Omega? Anyone seen the new girl? Anyone see the new girl?" She was pissed not knowing what she looked like, she cried a bit as her face showed in great anger. "HAS ANYONE FUCKING SEEN OMEGA!" She screamed down the hallway near the examination room where Omega was. "I HATE THIS PLACE!" She kept screaming.

Elise was confused about what was happening. She knew that Tony was angry, but didn't really understand why she was angry. And then Trinity was scared, but about what? Tony? And why did she have to wear something black or close to black? Black was such a sad color...

"Trinity? Why do I have to wear black? What are we going to do? Rob a bank or something? Because I don't want to rob a bank..." Elise was trying to lighten the mood a little... she wasn't sure if it was going to work. Everyone seemed upset in some way and she didn't know what to do to help out. And she was kind of scared by Tony, now. Tony seemed like the kind of person that would get annoyed and frustrated easily, and that can do harm in some situations...

Elise decided to stay close to Trinity as often as she could. Trinity seemed to know what was happening, and was more likely than anyone else to explain things to her.

"And why is Tony so upset?" she added as an afterthought to her previous questions. It was really bothering her, since she couldn't figure it out.

Tony couldn't concentrate and so she walked against the walls and into the examination room. The scientists paid her no attention and she sniffed out the different senses finding Omega and walking toward her. "You, what the hell is your problem?" She stopped caring and her anger was heightened just being in the same room as the very girl who kept ignoring important things. "What happened before you woke up? Huh?!" She grabbed the girl by the shirt and felt her hands turning into the claws she wish she never had. "Why the FUCK don't you show any feeling?! Are you mental!? Are you stupid?!"

"TONY!" The doctor in the background was tired of her nonsense, her smart remarks, her ignorance to others, and most of all... her outbursts to anyone she didn't like. He grabbed her up and spikes flew from her face and spine. The ones on her spine detached from her body and pierced the front of the doctor, who screamed like a woman as he dropped- he wasn't dead, just in much agony.

No doctor paid him attention, they just kept close eye on Tony and Omega.

"Answer me! Tell me everything and I will walk away never to bother you again! you can't treat people like they don't matter you hear me!?" She kept screaming.

Trinity was nervous, but she smiled. Her smile didn't hide a thing, but she kept it for Elise. "She... she has a lot of anger inside. She can hurt us, but she won't hurt little kids. Only if...-" She stopped talking. "You have to wear black because tonight we go out. You missed training, but I can teach you okay? You will be a tracker. If you don't do it, the bad man will take you into his office and Trinity won't ever see you again." She started tearing a bit and looked down as she stopped at Elise's doorway, not going in, but letting her go in. "I'd come in, but... I would get hurt."

Elise walked into her room and gently closed the door, saving her questions for after she changed. She easily found some black clothes, and changed into them quickly. They were so black, so horribly black. Maybe there was a colorful bow to put in her hair? She started to scavenge... but could find nothing even remotely colorful to put in her hair. Elise hated the color black by itself. Having to give up for now, she sighed and went back to the door of her room. She quickly opened the door and once again bombarded Trinity with questions.

"You said Tony won't hurt little kids, but then you added an 'Only if' and trailed off. Only if what? What am I supposed to have been training for? What's a tracker? And how would get hurt for coming in here?" she gestured to the inside of her room. Elise wondered if she would eventually annoy Trinity with all of her questions. There were so many questions, and she wasn't going to stop asking until someone started to suffer from her questions. She still hadn't gotten a very clear explanation of where this place was and what it was for... but she had a pretty good guess for the second thing.

Tony closed her eyes and whispered, "Before you go and bleed out all over... give this life a try. You might actually like it if you get over the awful turmoil of the new you. Stop being selfish and maybe, just maybe, you might like your life... you might like yourself. Be as stupid as you might be. Hate me, do whatever, but you should know, just because you saw your father get hit... doesn't mean he died." She grinned, baring razor sharp canine teeth and whispering more. "I don't care if you live or die and I know you wouldn't care if I lived or died, but I am sure wherever your father may be he will be so proud of you. Am I right?"

Trinity watched as the little girl's mouth kept moving and smiled sadly. "She likes little kids. They keep her happy, but she had to kill one and instead, she killed many. She was only ten. They made her become a tracker very early. She was the first one. She wasn't ready and... she had to get a specific child. She couldn't find her and she was afraid that she would hurt her. So she left, but then found her down the road. I wasn't with her, so I don't know what happened. She never told me, just that she never wanted to be angry with me."

Trinity took a pink bow from her pocket and smiled. "This was mine. Tony gave it to me when we met. You can wear it tonight." She was avoiding the question What is a tracker?

Elise took the pink bow appreciatively, fussing with it in her hair. "Thanks, I'll give it back later. But what are we doing tonight? And what is a tracker?"

She wanted to get some answers so she could understand a little more about what was going on. She also picked up that Trinity was hiding answers purposely. The answers were probably horrible, but Elise still wanted to know so she could understand what was happening.

She also felt bad for Tony. She could actually sympathize to a small extent, and understood why someone would act like Tony does if they had to kill at such a young age... not younger than her, but still young. And there was that word again. Tracker. What was it? And why was she going to be one? It seemed to be a bad... job? Assignment? Yeah, that would work. Of course she could figure out that trackers were supposed to track something, but what? And why? What did they do with whatever they tracked?

Too many questions for Elise's 7 year old brain to comprehend. There was so much to take in, and so many things that she could ask about. She shook her head and looked up at Trinity, pleading with her eyes for answers, no matter how terrible they may be.

Trinity watched as Elise struggled and helped her place the bow in after fixing her hair some. "Trackers," she whispered. "We bring in subjects. People. Humans. Like you used to be. Like I... used to be. Sometimes we have to bring in certain people. Other times they just send out all of the trackers with one person to help (2 in a group) and you bring back whoever you want. That's what me and you are doing tonight. We have to find someone. Me and Tony, we try to find someone that looks like they shouldn't be alone. Like you and Omega. Omega doesn't like us." She added sadly and took her into her room and began getting dressed.

After a few minutes: "You don't have to kill them if you don't want to, Eli. We just have to bring them here. I never kill anyone."

Elise was silent when Trinity finally explained what trackers were. What was the point in all of this? It just didn't make sense to her. She stared at her hands, trying to think through what she wanted to ask or say next. Why? Why would anyone do something like this?

And then, when she was about to speak... "You don't have to kill them if you don't want to, Eli. We just have to bring them here. I never kill anyone."

So now, some trackers kill the people that they find? What kind of cruel person would do that? Oh, wait. The people that are keeping her here. They're probably that insanely terrible to do something such as killing someone for no good reason. Or bringing them back to this... awful place. And they expected her to do their dirty work for them, now. Even though she had just been conscious for very little time, and not doing much, either.

"...So... we have to go find someone and bring them back here? To be tortured or whatever they plan here? And I have to know that I was one of the ones responsible for that?" she spoke hesitatingly, upset about this new revelation. Elise didn't want to be the reason for someone else to be trapped here. Or dead. She didn't want to be part of these people's cruel games.

Tony shrugged placing her hands in her pockets. "Pizza if you can catch one kid. It won't be easy so don't expect your hunger to ease down." She walked over to the cabinets and grabbed a nurse to get the black clothing for Omega. "Get that." The nurse grabbed a black slimming v-neck long-sleeved shirt and matching jet black jean-like material to go with it.

"They stay on your body and deflect any damage-"

"Small... damage," Tony interrupted.

"Small damage," the nurse said irritably, "that you may get during the assessment. Put it on."

Tony walked slowly toward the door and sighed. "I'll be at the gate, keep in mind... no killing allowed when with me." She walked out.

Trinity looked at her and then the ground as they made it to the front gates. As the gates opened, she would realize that she had never thought about it that way. That she was responsible for hundreds of deaths and she was just as guilty as the people sending her to do it. "Let's run away," she said to Elise nervously as if Elise was older than her. She was stuck in her own mind thinking she was still a child of seven herself. "It... it sounds bad, but... I don't like it here." Her voice cracked in almost every word spoken.

She walked out of the gate as if nothing was wrong and into the dark forest that would separate the Grand Estates from the Town of Ashmire (ash-mere).

Tony had sniffed out Trinity as she reached outside waiting for Omega. "Good luck Trin!" She called out with a half smile curled on her lips.

Trinity looked back and sighed. "Thank you," she would whisper, but not enough to be heard leaving Tony to think she was ignored.

[Place made for Ashmire, post there when you reach that town in your posts].

Tony felt the feelings of Omega and cleared her throat. Knowing they would get into trouble she took time and thought about it. "Yeah, sure." She walked around and the different restaurant scents started confusing her. The feelings of the towns people made her feel different due to being thrown at her at one time. "Take my hand or something, I can't focus." Her heart raced as she searched for Omega, but couldn't get hold. "We can do anything, just hold onto me."

Elise stayed close to Trinity. Now that they were outside of the... wherever they were, she was worried about what was outside. And thinking about Trinity's suggestion.

"You really want to run away?" she asked, not sure if the suggestion was just a joke or not. Why had Trinity just completely changed her opinion about this place? It confused Elise. "Because I'm all for it."

Was this really her big chance to already escape this crazy house? Would it be that easy? Elise was completely depending on Trinity and her decision. She wouldn't go anywhere that Trinity wasn't going. It just made her feel safer to know that someone else was there and by her side.

"But I'm not going to leave if you don't." she stated resolutely. Trinity was going to have to make her own decision, and hopefully the right one for herself.

Trinity stopped as soon as there were no cameras watching or anywhere near. "We can leave now. Tony has Omega." She took Elise's hand in her two hands and nearly begged her. "Please, please, please come with me. It isn't safe there." She began to regain a bit of memory she never knew she had. "We can't go back," she whispered dropping her hand and just holding it like a lost soul. "Lets go get some food," she spoke afraid of what was going to happen. "We have to think about what to do."

"Okay, let's go get some food." Elise agreed. She still wanted to leave, to go away, far away. And she was being offered food and a way to leave. Hopefully Trinity wouldn't back out of her offer. Elise still didn't know if she would, since Trinity seemed very scared and upset ever since she made the decision to leave. But Elise thought that leaving that place was the only way to be happy and free. And she might go anyways, even if Trinity didn't, just because she had the option.

"So, we might leave? Or is it definite that we are leaving?" she asked, to get an answer, and to make sure Trinity was on the same page as her.

Trinity would stop in front of the pizza store in town and for once, her smile didn't come back. "Well, that all depends on how we plan this out. Trackers are everywhere tonight and some of them look like they live in the town. So we have to be careful on what we say and around who we say it to. I want to leave, I don't want to come back, but to be honest, we might have to return tonight and leave from there if there is no chance of leaving tonight."

She lead her into the restaurant and looked around to examine everyone. "What do you want to eat?"

"I don't care what I eat, as long as it's food." Elise said excitedly. She didn't remember the last time she had a decent meal, and was starving. Food... and a possible chance to escape? This day was one of the best she could remember in a while. "What about Tony and... was her name Omega? Are we going to let them in on this plan? Or is it just the two of us?"

Elise didn't care either way for that answer. Sure, it'd be nice to have more people with her, but it might actually be a bad idea for those two to know. More people is always riskier. There's always a chance for deception, but with more people, the chance gets higher and higher. Of course, Elise didn't believer that either Tony or Omega could even like that place. She'd heard some of Tony's story and was expecting Omega to feel similar to her about being trapped in some foreign place...

Elise was happy for once, even though she didn't have an extremely good reason for her happiness... She felt a faint smile spread across her face, but it probably looked more like a grimace to most people.

Trinity sighed thinking of Tony, but then she said, "Tony will figure it out. I will tell her and if she wants... she will tell Omega, but they won't leave with us." She stood in line and looked around nervously. "They are both the same with similar lives and I couldn't deal with two Tonys fighting and arguing and yelling."

The line moved quite quickly and as their turn came up, Trinity ordered two trays of pizza to go. She didn't have money, but Tony taught her a trick in case they were ever lost and had to steal food. "I hope this works Eli. We don't have any other option."
