Riley laid there, her arm resting over her forehead and covering her eyes. Her face went a light shade of pink and she could hear her heart pounding in her ears again. The brunette was indeed shocked that her best friend said she loved her? Gods was that really what she just said? There was no way Riley was going to give up now. She was in deep now, she was going to stick with Khi until the end like she always did. Riley wouldn't admit it out loud in this moment but she needed Khi as much as Khi needed her.


When the sobs broke through the silence it only caused pain to Riley's heart. To see her best friend cry, it hurt and angered her too because she was the one at fault. Riles was the one who made her lover cry, if she just didn't bring it up maybe they could have been laughing right now.

The brunette rubbed her eyes with her arm to find that she too had tears in her eyes.

Idiot.

She called herself in a low whisper. It didn't matter which way this ended because one way or another it wasn't going to be very nice. Riley sat up slightly fixing her hair before glancing over to her lover, in that instant their eyes met and Khi spoke about how everything was going to be okay. How they'll get through this somehow and eventually be together, possibly one day.

"Y-Yeah . . ."

Riley's answer was hesitant because someday couldn't come any sooner. She wanted to just steal Khi away from Danny. It both sadden and frustrated her when she would watch them be all lovey dovey in public, something Riley wished she could do with her best friend. Frankly, Riley was tired of seeing it, in her head it felt as if Danny was taunting her in a way. That guy, from the first time she laid eyes on him, always struck a nerve in her. Riley thought that there was something eerie about the guy. From the first day she met him, Riley swore that if he did anything to hurt her best friend then she'd kill him, not literally of course but you get the point.

Seeing Khi's beautiful makeup go to waste, Riley took a tissue and wet it with some water from a water bottle near by and signaled Khi to come over with her finger. Once her friend was seated in front of her, Riles gently grabbed her shin as she leaned in a bit, cleaning off the smeared grey from each eye. Riley was careful as she tried not to look into those green eyes of hers in fear that she'll be hypnotized and be caught doing something totally inappropriate by the guys. The brunette stuck her tongue out, concentrating as she grabbed her lovers make up bag and fixed the once smeared mess back to it's original state. In all honesty, Riley didn't know why Khi wore make up most of the time. She still looked beautiful without it.
