Taking place in present day, two people run for their lives, literally. These two each have their own reasons to run, and for whatever reason they have found each other. Now they must face both of their pursuers as it becomes harder and harder to hide. It seems the enemy's numbers are growing by the minute, and hope starts to fade for them both to ever escape this path. Never being able to settle down, never able to have any friends, except for each other of course.

But I'm getting ahead of myself, after all, you don't even know why they're hunted or who they even are! For starters, there is a boy and a girl. The boy, I'm afraid, is nowhere near normal. He is what some people call "Gifted". In other words, he has powers. Powers to manipulate and use fire and air to his will. For this, he is considered what some people call a mutant and all normal humans want to test on him. They want to cut him open and observe him, find what makes mutants so different. But the other 'mutants' have other plans for him.

Recently, the boy had made some very big enemies. He left a group of mutants in a not to kind way. As they were all banding together to become the dominant race of Earth, he had to stop it. He burnt down all of the work and progress. He made them have to start from scratch, and he killed three in doing so. They told the scientists about him in exchange for parts to begin construction all over again. Now they too search for him, but they have plans for him. They wish to make him suffer. The three he killed were some of the most respected, and now they wish to hurt him mentaly and let him live with that guilt until he wishes he would die. But they don't know how they are going to do that, since he never was attached to anyone. That was, until they learned about the girl companion.

The girl, however, is a completely different case. She has, or is, something that everyone would want if they could get their hands on her. She has the ability to take and transfer powers from people. She can strip people of their abilities and give them to somebody else. But she doesn't know how she can. It only happened once but now both mutants and humans alike search for her. After all, who doesn't want more power?

So back to where I was. The two found each other when the girl was being pretty much dragged to the 'mutant' base and as the boy was running away. He helped her get away and they kept running together. Of course, the person dragging her was one of the three that didn't make it through the night. Since then they have bonded rather well. Now that bond shall be tested as they continue their flee. How long can they go before even powers can't help them?

The Boy-
He can control fire and is on the run with the girl. He has feelings for her although he tries not to show them. Has a kind hearted side but can also seem cold blooded in certain situations

The Girl-
She can take other peoples powers away and give them. She doesn't know how to use it though. Being on the run with the boy made her feelings for him grow and she would take a bullet for him but doesn't know that she likes him, even though she does. She tries not to show emotion in front of people she doesn't like

Male Human Hunter 1-
A rather energetic one. He is after the girl and wants her for his own selfish wants.

Female Human Hunter 1-
She is flirty and often tries to use that to get what she wants. Is after the boy for the scientists, and her entertainment.

Male Mutant 1-
He is after the boy and despises him. His power is that he can control water and ice. He is devious, sarcastic, and rude, but he always tries to pull at peoples heart strings to get what he wants, which means he will use the girl against the boy, and he won't resist the urge to flirt with her and threaten her. Once he finds out about the girls ability however, he won't let her escape either, not that he would anyways.

Female Mutant 1-
Is after both the boy and girl. She wants the power from the girl and wants the boy to pay for killing her boyfriend. She will do anything to get her revenge on him, even if it requires killing another one of her fellow mutants to get him. Has the ability to give her pain or pain she has concealed in her through touch.

Male Human Hunter 2-
Is after both the boy and the girl. He, however is only getting them for science...and fame of course. He wishes for his name to go down in the books, and this, he feels, will get it there.

Male Mutant 2-
He is after the girl, and the girl alone. He could care less about anybody but himself and wishes to be superior to everyone else. The girl, will get him that wish. He has the power of telekineses.

5. Be rational. I don't want somebody to be able to tell that somebody is coming if that person was silent. You DON'T have super ears.
