Gender: Male

Race: Orc

Class: Beastmaster/Huntsman

Physical Description: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/ ... 3b2c41.jpg
Kel is on the short side, for an orc, standing at a mere six feet and four inches in height. He is similarly more slender than the average orc, though still stout and broad shouldered for any other race. He is well muscled, but lean, with more agility and speed than the average orc, if a bit less strength. His skin is a forest green, his hair black, and his eyes the greenish yellow of nocturnal predators.

Personality

Faction: The Paragon

Moral Alignment: Chaotic Good

Equipment

Starting Armor: Kel wears a sleeveless leather jerkin, with leather pants, and boots. On his shoulders he wears large spiked metal spaulders, from which hangs a metal cuirass, covering his chest. On his forearms he wears metal vambraces, and on his right knee he wears a spiked poleyn. His sword sheaths hang on his back, with one handle over each shoulder, between the neck and spaulders, were he can easily draw them. Over these sheaths hang's a spiked buckler that he wears on his left forearm over his vambrace when in close quarters. His knife sheaths, and bow straps hang from his hips, the knives at the small of his back, the quiver against his left thigh and the bow hanging, strung, in a tube sheath against his right thigh.

Starting Weaponry: Twin hand and a half swords, twin hunting knives, and a recurved composite bow, with 60 strong thin arrows in the quiver.

Fighting Style: Kel's style of fighting depends on the situation. From afar, or a high vantage, he favors his bow. But when engaged in close quarters combat, he dual wields his swords. In situations of stealth, he often uses his knives to take care of things silently. In a straight up battle he usually rides upon his mount, directing his soldiers, and shooting his bow, until things close in, at which point he draws his swords. He also often calls for the help of animals if the territory allows for it, and his familiars are always by his side protecting him, as are his warriors most of the time.

Weapon of Choice: Kel is equally proficient with all his weapons, abilities, and even his bare hands, trained by his father from childhood, and the harsh world every day. He chooses his weapon by range, terrain, and strategic advantage.

Other:

Hunter's Grace: From a life time of experience, Kel is adapt at moving swiftly, silently, and sure footed through near any forest, undergrowth, or terrain. He is also able to remain unseen in the shadows, blending in with the scenery very well, though he is still visible and those of sharp sight can still see him.

Ironwood Hide: From a lifetime of living in the wild, and training in martial arts, Kel has built his skin up to be tougher than leather, and hard as the ironwood trees. This gives him a natural armor that helps protect against cutting and penetrating damage.

Sense: The orcish sense of smell is particularly acute, meaning that they don't need light to navigate.

Cold Rage: By severing nearly every normal nervous connection in the body as well as several hormone glands and utilizing a second set of internal wiring, orcs can negate any sense of feeling or touch and rationalize every move in the heat of battle effectively making themselves the perfect warrior for a roughly a minute, reusable once every hour. The process is draining and leaves the user vulnerable for a while afterwards.

Beast Call: Kel has an innate ability to commune the beasts of the wild, and he can call to them for help, and even command them if he has a stronger will.

Beast Mimicry: Kel has learned from the animals themselves, giving him the speed of a deer, the strength of a bear, the stealth of a viper, the endurance of boar, etc... He has a constant natural buff from this training, but he also has the ability to activate specific talents, like a rapid deer hop flash step style dash for movement, or the roar of a dire bear to terrify his enemy.

Wild Beast: When gravely wounded, or fiercely enraged, or desperate to protect, when his fight or flight response kicks in to high gear, making him like a wounded lion, or a mother bear looking out for her cubs, he gets a massive surge of adrenaline and bloodlust that allows him to completely ignore pain, and not only keep fighting, but tap into greater strength and speed. In this state he loses his ability to think rationally or strategically and is, essentially, a wild beast, fighting with tooth and claw literally many times.

Beast Form: Kel's fingernails are short, yellowed triangular claws as sharp and tough as a bears, and his fangs, the lower tusks especially, are sharp and tough as a bears as well.

Familiars: Kel has two familiars, animals who are bonded to him, and are like his own blood to him. One is a dire wolf, a massive shaggy beast that stands as tall as Kel at the shoulder, and also acts as his mount. One is a mid sized reddish falcon that he can use for reconnaissance and typical falconry.

History

Kel grew up in the Ruins of Imperian, in the remains of an ancient castle, long overtaken by nature. His father was the Chieftain of one of the last great Orc tribes, known as King Razortusk. King Razortusk's wife died giving birth to Kel, and he was a small sickly child. They feared he would not live, but he did, yet he would be the sole heir to his bloodline, for soon after his father died. He died in the wars, killed by a dragon, though he did not go down easy, and he was not the only to die that day. To protect the last of the ancient bloodline the tribes elder Shaman, and their greatest warrior, a ranger trained in martial arts, archery, and all manner of blades, took Kel, still a baby, to the ruins of his families ancient ancestral home, and raised him there, training him to be the Chief his people would need. For most of his life Kel was as much a creature of the wild as any of the forest, spending his days roaming the woods, soaking in their lessens, studying the ancient writings of his people, carved into the ruins of the castle, illegible in most places, but many still readable, with the Shamans help. What time he did not spend exploring, and learning all the strengths of the creatures of the forest, he spent training with the great orc warrior, who had been his fathers right hand. Many years passed in this fashion, and Kel grew up strong, to be a greater warrior than they could have hoped. The shaman taught Kel the ways of his people, and how to hear the spirit of nature itself, to be one with the earth. And the warrior taught him to be the greatest hunter of all, one who could stalk and kill any pray, be they beast or man.

On his eighteenth birthday they told Kel the secret truth of his heritage, that his blood was the blood of kings, and that some of his people still remained, subjugated, and in hiding, living terrible lifes. Kel spent the next five years travelling the whole of Norr, finding his people, and bringing them together. They have recently aligned themselves with the Paragon, and Kel leads a regiment of Orc warriors, and archers, and mounted cavalry nearly a hundred strong. His people are loyal to the death, and besides his regiment include hundreds more peaceful artisans, carpenters and blacksmiths, and even shamans and healers, who all do what they can to aid the Paragon's effort. Kel is now known to his people, and the land at large, as Chief King Kel'Arrak Sawtooth, son of the Razortusk, Kel'Radas, Blood of the Fallen Kings.
