Full Name:Kisikoni Ayalen
Age: 32
Gender: Male
Race: Deep Human
Class: Warrior
Physical Description:

His clothes change, since wearing the same thing results in a very odorous person- even for mideval standards if you stand as a race who rolls around in the earth all day. But, he does keep his soldier's uniform. Usually, he dons a light, form-fitting tunic for relief and modesty. Over that he wears a long-sleeved jerkin that has tough, leather-like qualities to it. There are many visible color disfigurations on the tanned jerkin as it has scraped rocks many times in it's life. His pants are much the same, though they have a deep brown color and are baggy. They grip the legs at the ends, to avoid tripping and entanglement and wear. He completes this set with a pair of traveler boots. He used to wear no shoes at all, but the outside world had much more dangers for his feet than the underground world (namely snakes, glass, and other people who dislike looking at barefooted individuals). He dons a thick scarf, yellowed with age and used to wrap around his head underground when there is debris in the air. There are precious few occasions that he can wear any of his casual clothing nowadays.
In Personality...
What was once a cheerful neutral is now gone. Kisikoni is jaded by the 10+ years of the war he had to fight, not accounting the change in sides and the events that came with the war that shocked him to a point where little else surprises him anymore. He is slightly cynical, quietly lamenting that he would be the weakest link in the Paragon if it weren't for this infernal presence in his body that gave him his strange power. He was no more than another soldier thrust into the scheme of things, though he desperately tries to cling to his past- covering up his tired personality with a calm facade. He is quiet and logical by nature, but still places an strange faith in his Undergods that many believe to be dead. He is willing to help anyone and everyone, as he is simply just tired of seeing bodies littered across the battlefield when many of them could have survived if they had some advice or assistance. The faces, frozen in fear and indecision when in death shows it. Kisikoni's trust is not lightly placed as it used to be, but he seems to trust Talae, Liliana, Sid, Beelzes and Wrath without much doubt.
Faction: Paragon
Moral Alignment: Lawful Neutral
In Equipment...
Starting Armor: The black, sleek armor of the Blackguard, given to him before the fateful siege. It is lightly plated with black 12 gauge chain links running down the side that is enchanted to conform tightly to the body to leave space for room and to make little noise on stealth missions. It is heavily damaged from the fight with the dragon, but it offers far better protection than any normal armor available at the time. He has a pair of light gauntlets, nothing more than thin plates of steel around some tight gloves to protect against staves and weapons that like to slide down weapons and smack the knuckles or fingers. It can be used to punch for greater effect, but Kisikoni hardly is able to get that close to do so. He also dons two shin guards made of the same unknown black metals used in his Blackguard armor.
Starting Weaponry: Originally unable to use any weaponry, he started out small and eventually became an skilled wielder of the Butterfly Swords. He was attracted to them due to their compact nature, and realize that though they were pretty heavy, it gave him power to compensate for lack of range. The butterfly swords are only about a foot long (not including the handles, big enough for only one hand to wrap around the hilt). The blades themselves are about a half inch thick and two inches long. They are shaped similarly to butcher knives in terms of the blade, except a lot more square-like. The back ends of the blade are blunted for blocking, and the crossguard is a thick band of steel that wraps around the hilt to protect the hands. While they lack range, the swords have a lot of slashing, stabbing, and blunt force power packed in them.
He is practiced in the crossbow, but he carries none as both crossbows he took were lost in the various battles he had taken place in. This is much to the displeasure of his captain, but even if he had one Kisikoni would have to be dangerously close to foes to be able to shoot accurately.
Fighting Style: Originally trained in close quarters combat, Kisikoni uses his body efficiently. Because the caves he lived in where narrow, tight, and sometimes impossible to move more than two limbs in, weapons were not very popular save for the smallest of daggers that offered little advantage in some situations. So he trained his fists, legs, elbows, you name it. All his limbs become a deadly whirlwind, and he utilizes his martial prowess in the form of his Butterfly Swords, which he picked up above ground. Though it was hard to learn, his early training proved to be a valuable asset in understanding how the swords worked. He is methodical in movement, and quietly efficient.
Weapon of Choice: The Short Sword/ His fists
Other: The deep humans have always been able to use a powerful, unknown ability that instills a deathly fear in any enemy for a short period of time. The Deep Humans, threatened little by much have seen fit to not use this power for a long time, and over a period of centuries the power seemed to wane until it merely caused the opponents to flinch. Kisikoni, through constant use under dangerous circumstances recently unlocked something his ancestors have kept a secret for thousands of years. The demonic being, formless in appearance and wicked in tongue has established itself within Kisikoni, giving him an power that has not been seen before. While Kisikoni suspects it is not a god, as he hears of the many stories that the Gods have long died, he cannot help but wonder what this being is, and it's motives have yet to be revealed to him fully.
His power multiplies his abilities, letting Kisikoni run three times faster, strike three times harder, and take three times more damage. How far this power can go is unknown, but there is severe limits to how he can use it. Kisikoni must let the being in his body control his limbs, which means the methodical actions of the Deep Human become unpredictable. Kisikoni will suffer the same strain despite the augmented powers in his limbs, which means if he runs at a dead sprint for too long while under that power, his leg muscles will tear themselves apart and so on. His body seems to morph in accordance to the being, though each transformation seems to be different but nevertheless disgusting or terrifying. One transformation sprouted eyes all over his face, and insectoid-like spikes protruding from his legs. However, they seem to go away once the power dissipates and Kisikoni is allowed control of his limbs once more.
In History...
Born in his underground home of Chochmingwu, Kisikoni was the son of a cartographer for his village. That meant he was sent to scout caverns with warriors, check for stability, and see if resources could be obtained. His father mapped out dangerous regions, and provided a sense of safety for his village. Kisikoni was to follow in his footsteps, but as news poured from above ground about the slayer spells and the dragons and the Paragon, his father left to join the ranks as a scout. His village soon had to relocate, as they were fairly close to the surface and the raging battles taking place above compromised the security of their caves. Chochmingwu was a town that had a Paragon Fortress less than a few miles from it, and more often than not they would hear the terrifying roar of the Dragons above. At the age of 9, Kisikoni began learning martial arts, an old form of hand-to-hand combat within his village.
After a collapse three years later, half his village was wiped out in one decisive swoop of earth. Kisikoni and the survivors split up, some heading further underground and others heading for the surface to find shelter amongst the Paragon. Kisikoni headed to the surface to enlist in the Paragon Armies, seeking to end the war so everybody could just go home.
He found out that while his hand-to-hand combat was above average, he lacked weapon training and how to survive above ground. He was thrown into a crash-course on how to survive above ground while learning the how to use his butterfly swords. Since the Paragon Armies were in dire need of every man, they couldn't afford to lose a single soldier by any means aside from being KIA. To stop soldiers from dying, they were given long-range weapons as well as short range. Kisikoni rejected the bow, as it took too much time to be an acceptable shot with it. He picked up a crossbow, and after taking it to a fletcher to modify it, he came out with the first multi-purpose crossbow that could hurl arrows and bolts. The crossbow was lost a few battles after that.
He fought with the Paragon for over a decade after that, rising to become the leader of a small five-man squad he named "the Huyana". Roughly translated, it meant "Falling Rain" in his village.
Being transferred into Liu-Wen's squad, Kisikoni quickly was thrown into a vortex of events as before no time he was promoted to a Blackguard- the highest and strongest warriors in the Paragon along with the rest of his squad in the Civie-Savage Alliance before Nhil's treachery. It was during this time he discovered his disturbing new power, which he constantly tries to control to his best efforts, and met allies that he befriended. During the tumultuous siege not long ago where the Red Dragons saved the Blackguard from being wiped out, Kisikoni once again had to be carted off to recuperate, learning that many of his comrades and friends died in the siege- namely Faera, Caine, and most importantly, Pel Mellikot.
