"You can't help who you fall in love with"
Gordo was well known for being friendly and happy go lucky "never met a stranger" his mother would always say. He is also known to be a bit of practical joker but has settled over the past four years he's been in the morning. He has changed in many ways and hopes his girl Mary doesn't hate him to much, because he has a secret, in fact he'd rather not see Mary cause he doesn't want to break her heart. But it's going to happen no matter what he does. He has settled but not with Mary, despite this he being a caring guy doesn't want to break her heart. How can he tell her he's already married.
Gordon is an only child to a businessman in his hometown owning several businesses, his mother passed away when Gordo was three years old. He turned out to be quite the athlete and played football in high school. He enlisted in the US Army right after graduation, leaving behind his high school sweet heart Mary Thomas. His stint in the military was like many others you saw things that you would have never seen but in war that happens. Many times Gordo felt that it wasn't worth all the pain and suffering he saw. Until he met Alice Hopkins, she was a nurse in the stationed in London England with Gordo. They became fast friends and that snow balled into love, Gordo then decided that despite his girlfriend back in Iowa he was going to marry Alice. And as soon as the war was over he did, he and Alice eloped, now he's bringing his new wife home with him. But what does that mean for Mary she's a sweet girl and has waited patiently for Gordon to come. He can't help but feel bad for it, but he loves Alice now.
