Alphios woke up in his small bed surrounded by water making the room look like the bed was an island in the smallest ocean in the world. He yawned and walked through the water his bare feet walking over water without him even noticing. He looked around the stone walls and was amazed. "Oh so pretty." he said running his fingers on the cold walls. He had lost every memory of his former life and who he was in that life. He kept searching the temple and made his way to a large table in the center of the room. It looked like it would fit around twenty people, but Alphios was alone wasn't he. He walked to the table and took the seat closest to the head of the table.

He sat down happily and propped himself up by sitting on his knees. The table was pretty high, compared to him but he didn't mind. His stomach growled and he rubbed it. "Hush belly." he said slightly sad. "Hello is anyone here. I'm hungry" he said a bit of concern in his voice that a horrible beast lives in the temple and he disturbed it's sleep.

Aeya hummed as she walked through the temple, a conversation with an eagle still fresh on her mind, when she saw a small boy propped on his knees at the table. With a happy squeak, she rushed over, her face consumed by a grandiose smile.

"You're awake, you're awake, you're awake, oh yay!" she gasped, and began to dance around, shaking her behind in a most un-goddess like way, giggling the entirety ot the time. Once her dancing ceased, she rushed over and knelt beside him, bowing her head slightly.

"Good morning, Alphios, what can I get for you?"

Alphios sat nervously and cringed as he heard footsteps. He was surprised when not a monster appeared but a woman. He was baffled as why she was so excited to see him. She didn't seem evil just more of which, crazy. He was even more confused when she kneeled to him. "Alphios? Who's Alphios? " he looked around and saw they were the only two in the room. "Do you mean me? " he said shyly. " If so I am really hungry. " he said then smiled. Even if he wasn't Alphios he would still probably get to eat. The girl didn't seem like the kind who could say no to a child.

He kept his eyes fixed on the girl innocently. He felt like he knew her but couldn't put his finger on it. the other thing would be the name Alphios. He felt a connection to thr name but couldn't figure out what it was. He tried to think but it only hurt his head. He looked down at the girl and tried to remember her as well but came up with nothing. "Oh um who are you and are you crazy? " he asked curious about the woman before him.

Aeya burst into a fit of giggles, smiling and scolding herself silently. Of course he wouldn't remember, how could she expect him to? Now, she would give him the barest of information, and tell him the rest later.

"Your name is Alphios, silly. It's you. My name is Aeyatheer, but you can just call me Aeya for now. I'm not crazy, I'm just very happy to see you. You see, we work close together, helping each other out. Now, let's find you something to eat, ok?" With a gracious smile, she stood and held her hand out to him, intending to lead him to the kitchen to find food.

Alphios was even more freaked out when the girl started giggling. "Your name is Alphios, silly. It's you. My name is Aeyatheer, but you can just call me Aeya for now. I'm not crazy, I'm just very happy to see you. You see, we work close together, helping each other out. Now, let's find you something to eat, ok?" "Okay sounds good." he said happily.

Alphios was still a bit unsure of what to think of the girl but he wasn't deciding his stomach was. He hopped down and put his hand in her's. His was about half the size of her's as his fingers only reached about halfway over her fingers. He looked up at at the girl and smiled. "Okay Aeya let's go." he said enthusiastically.

As they strolled towards the kitchen, Aeya hummed gently, a sea-bird's song, hoping that it might intrigue him. It would be helpful if he could recall a bit on his own, and she was sure it would strengthen his mind in the long run. Entering the large kitchen, she walked to the pantry and peered inside, still humming.

"What are you hungry for, Alphi?" she asked, shortening his name to try and sweeten it up. He was a kid, so she couldn't act so serious all the time! He probably wanted to play and laugh and joke like all the other children got to, so she would treat him as a child until he ordered more respect out of her.

Alphios listened to the girl as she hummed. It was nice and was another thing that rung a bell but didn't completely factor in his head. He jumped on the counter when they made it and watched to girl with interest as she began looking through the pantry. "What are you hungry for, Alphi?" He looked around and realized it was him. He pondered for a moment and a small memory came up. "Fish!" he chirped then pondered at his own answer. He had no idea what a fish was or what it tasted like but for some reason the name fish appeared in his head. He was giddy and wanted to eat so whatever it was he hoped it was good.

He moved himself over by the window and peered out. The sun was rising and birds could be heard singing in the morning sunlight. "It's really pretty outside." he said then looked straight down and jumped back then went to Aeya. He had always had a fear of heights before but now it really showed more than it ever had.

"Fish, fish, fish, yummy fish, fish, fish!" Aeya sung gently to herself while she bustled about the kitchen, cooking and preparing the small boy's lunch. She had noticed he didn't like the heights, and smiled a bit. She could understand a Water God disliking heights; afterall, lots of water was down on the ground. After a few minutes more, she placed a bit of fish in front of him and smiled broadly.

"Eat up, Aplhi! We have a busy day ahead!"

Alphios sat and watched Aeya make the fish. It was a strange food but his subconscious craved it even though he himself knew nothing of it. He watched her sit the fish in front of him and he smiled. "Thank you." he said as he picked up the fish and took a bite. He loved it. He swallowed it then took another bite then another. He continued like this, barley chewing when he finished the fish. He smiled as a small hiccup escaped his lips. "SorHicry" he said to Aeya as a small bubble came out of his mouth. He popped it then laughed sounding particularly babyish as he hiccuped again another bubble coming out, "This is fun." he said as he popped the second bubble.

Aeya leaned on the counter and watched him, smiling broadly. He was so cute, so innocent...and something dark was going to try and hurt him. It was her duty to protect him. And she would do it, no matter what the cost.

Alphios finally finished hiccuping and popped the last of the bubbles. He then looked at the girl and smiled. "So Aeya you said something that we work together right? So... what kind of work do I do ?" he wondered what he would actually do. He wasn't that old but he did feel like he could do something special.

"Well...you know oceans? The big bits of water that surround everything? And rivers? And streams, lakes, ponds, rain, mist, stuff like that?" Aeya walked over to a pitcher of water and put it in front of him. The water pressed tight against the glass closest to him, as though begging to be nearer to him. "All of that stuff...is your job. You're the Water God. And I help you out with rain and clouds and currents and stuff." She placed a hand over the pitcher and twirled her finger as though stirring the water, smiling. A thin string of mist rose up before creating a small cloud above the pitcher, delicate gray and fluffy. "I can't do a lot, I'm only a minor Wind Goddess, I'm not very strong. But I can do minor things like that." Smiling gently, she rested her chin on her hands and gazed at Alphios, wondering at what his reaction would be.

Alphios was dumbfounded. "I'm in charge of water?" he asked then looked at the glass. "Make a fish " the water then formed a clear fish swimming midair. "Ha ha I like this." he said clapping. "So I am a God and your a Minor Goddess. So I'm like your boss right? " he asked laughing slightly. He liked the thought of her doing what he said and was thinking of the funny stuff he could do.

He touched the fish and it disappeared in his finger. "Aw" he growled and pounded his fists on the counter than moved his hands up and a beam of water hit Aeya sending her flying back. "Oh no " he jumped down and rushed to the girl "Aeya ,Aeya please be okay I'm sorry it was an accident." he began to cry and sat on his knees beside her crying.

Aeya rubbed the back of her head, still smiling painfully. "Yeah," she said, "you're sorta like my boss. My real boss is the Wind God, but he's not awake yet." She wiped the tears from his face and grinned broadly, "I'm ok, I'm not hurt, don't cry." She stood and stretched her shoulders out, then whistled. A large bird flew into the room and settled on Aeya's outstretched arm, gazing at Alphios, then her. "This is a seahawk," she said, nodding to the huge bird on her arm, "he helps us both out. He flies, so he's one of my creatures, but he also works with the water, so he's sorta yours too." She rubbed under the bird's neck and mumbled to it quietly, strange words falling from her lips as she spoke. It almost seemed to nod, then hopped onto the floor to study Alphios further, before bowing its head to him kindly.

Alphios was relieved. "Sorry" he nodded but was still slightly ashamed of himself. He watched Aeya whistle for the bird and he marveled at the bird for a minute before it hopped to the ground. He then crouched down and got to eye level with the bird. He rubbed its head and down it's back. "It's soft" he said then carefully picked up the bird then sat crossed legged and he put the bird in his lap. "Good Seahawk." he laughed a little then continued petting the bird.

Alphios stopped dead when he heard something in the hallway behind the door. He was scared but he wanted to know what it was. He paced towards the door with the bird in his arms like it was a baby. He looked out at the door and opened it up to see a girl about his age walking with flowers in her arms. He walked over to her and smiled. "Hello." he said cheerily. She looked alot like him so maybe she was a god too. Probably something to ask Aeya for now but he didn't care there was someone like him near him now. He was excited about that.

Gaia grinned at the boy holding a bird.
"Hello" Said the boy, equally happy as her. They were about the same height... Was he the same age as her? Who is he?
"Hi. What's you name?" She asked, looking at the flowers in her arms. "Here, I found these flowers. You can have one." Gaia handed a blue flower to the boy, there was something about him which made her give the blue flower in specific. She didn't know why, though. Still holding the flower, she realized the boy would have trouble taking the flower when he was holding a bird.
"Sorry, it would be hard to hold this too, right?" Gaia put the flower in his jacket's chest pocket. "There. It looks pretty!" She giggled, happy to make a friend.

Aeya smiled as she watched the two kids interact, the God of Water and the God of Earth, meant to get along. And luckily they were. It made the minor wind goddess happy. Nerves were creeping up her spine, and it made Aeya nervous. She wondered where all the other minors were, taking care of kids while she was still a kid herself made her nervous.

Connor smiled as the girl put the flower in his shirt pocket. "Thank you." he said as he went back to Aeya. "Here can you hold birdie?" he said then put the bird in her arms and ran back to the girl. "My name is Alphios and that is Aeya." he smiled pointing to the goddess behind him. "Maybe she knows you." he said smiling at the girl. " I like your flowers they're really pretty." he said then pulled then one of the cream flowers from her and put it in her hair. "That looks really pretty." he said then laughed a little. "So whats your name?" he said sweetly

Gaia watched as the boy went over to a teenage girl. She hadn't noticed her there.
"My name is Alphios and that is Aeya, maybe she knows you." Alphios explained. Gaia smiled, now she knows the name of her new friend, and she'd love to talk to the other girl too.
"I like your flowers they're really pretty." complimented the boy, putting one of her flowers in her hair. "That looks really pretty." Gaia grinned and laughed along with the boy.
"Thanks!"
When the laughing died down, Alphios asked.
"So what's your name?"
Gaia stopped to think... She couldn't remember.
"My... my name?" She paused and looked down. "It's.. uhh..." She whined a little, not knowing what to say.

Alphios was confused as why to the girl was so ashamed of herself. "Hey it's okay. I didn't know my name until Aeya told me here come with me." he grabbed her hand and drug her to Aeya. "Aeya, Aeya who is this and what's her name. She doesn't know her name either." he said enthusiastically. The girl seemed familiar but he couldn't quite but his finger on it who she was. Maybe another goddess or maybe just a girl who wandered into this place.

While walking towards Aeya, Gaia laughed when she found out she wasn't the only one who forgot their name. She just made a fuss about nothing, she thought.
"Aeya, Aeya who is this and what's her name. She doesn't know her name either."
"Yes, I know her name. You're name, is Gaia. Gaia, you got that?"
Gaia smiled at the two for helping her.
"Uh huh," She nodded. "thank you!" Gaia gave Aeya a cream colored flower as thanks. Who knew how long it would have taken for her to find out on her own? She was happy to have friends like these.
Then she thought for a moment. What did Alphios mean by "Who she was"? She was a girl and her name is Gaia, what else was there? If so, how does Aeya know?
"Um, Aeya? How did you know my name?"

Alphios went listen to both girls and he jumped up and down happily. "So me and Gaia are alike, awesome!" he was giddy and wanted to know more about the girl. Aeya said she was similar so Alphios decided he would just ask ahead. " Aeya is she a god too?" he asked dying to know the answer.
