Cameron's skin is pale from the hours he spends inside, pouring over books and his laptop. It strikes a contrast against his hair that's such a dark brown, it's almost black. He tans in summer if he ventures outside for any period of times. His hair is almost always stylishly messy, just enough to be considered fashionable. It frames his narrow, angular face, usually accentuated with some designer stubble as a result of him occasionally forgetting to shave. He's tall and thin, standing at six foot exactly and weighing in at just 157 pounds. He finds it hard to put weight on, no matter how much he eats. His eyes are a distinctive grey-green, and are described as his most noticeable feature. He has a tattoo of a rising sun, a crescent moon, and a scatter of stars along his right forearm. He's scar free for the most part, safe for a nasty gash along his right knee from a teenage biking accident, and a small scar on his side from when he had his appendix removed when he was twelve. He's always well dressed, even when he's just sitting around the house studying. He's usually found wearing some sort of jacket, typically a bomber or a biker. For layering up, he'll usually just wear a scarf and beanie, while in summer he might ditch the jackets. His jeans are always skinny or straight legged, giving his figure a bit of shape.

When Cam starts something, he can frequently be found there eight hours later, determined to get it right. In university, his essays were always submitted at the last moment (including one notable occasion where an essay that was due at midnight was submitted at 23:59:31), and he frequently had meltdowns over them, believing that he must have failed that assignment, it was nowhere near perfect, and every time, he got an excellent grade. But he never learned, and he went into complete isolation after submitting his dissertation, believing that it was bad enough for them to just straight up kick him out. He's obsessive and a perfectionist to the point of them nearly being his fatal flaws.
He's loyal to everyone he cares about. He isn't a leader, he's an advisor. He offers advice but never tells someone what to do or how to do it. He much prefers the shadows to the limelight, finding that otherwise, his drive for perfection nearly drives him insane. On the outside, he's balanced and level-headed, never rushing into anything, never doing anything on a whim or without giving it appropriate though. It isn't to say that he can't have fun or that he's boring- he can think things through fully in five minutes, if not less. He's intelligent and quick-witted, able to find flaws and benefits that others would otherwise miss. It is this that drove him to law, as he can spot holes in evidence that others might otherwise miss.
Cam has friends that he loves dearly. But honestly, there are times where he just needs to be alone. He's introverted to the point of being antisocial, because he'd much rather read up on something that interests him- or perfect that assignment that's due in the morning- than go out to a bar with friends most of the time. When he goes out, he enjoys himself, and frequently finds himself wondering why he doesn't do it more. But then the lure of his new favourite book, of a particularly interesting court case, or on occasion, his new Netflix addiction, calls him in and makes him stay in. He doesn't do things by half and has a tendency to binge media instead of just watching one episode or reading for half an hour.
Cam loves house plants and has an uncanny talent for keeping them alive. He has a considerable supply of scented candles on hand at any one time. He adores reading. Crime dramas are his favourite type of media, and they're what made him become interested in law. He insists on having bean bags in his room at all times, and prefers sitting on one of them to study, with his notes sprawled around the floor.

Cam hates all wine except rosé. Gender roles and stereotypes are the dumbest of humanity's creations, in his opinion. He strongly dislikes knitted jumpers. Night clubs are not his idea of a fun night out. He's deathly allergic to peanuts and hates them by default. He hates bisexual stereotypes and biphobia in general. He discovered the hard way that opera literally puts him to sleep.

intelligence: cam has always been of above average intelligence, and his work ethic only adds to that. as a visual learner, he finds reading and writing things helps him retain things incredibly easily. he picks things up more easily and his strengths lie in analysis.
loyalty: cam doesn't give up on people. it would require a betrayal of an impressive scale for him to lose faith in someone he trusts. he believes in standing by those he loves, whether they're flying high or falling low.
determination: a positive spin on his obsession, cameron will literally not give up on something until he believes it's perfect. when he wants something, he isn't afraid to strive for it either, and do what he can to get it.

perfectionism: cameron will literally not give up. he pushes himself and pushes himself in pursuit of something that's impossible, something that he cannot achieve, and he can't get it into his head that it's impossible, that he shouldn't try so hard.
obsessive: when he starts consuming media, he can't stop that easily. his need for perfection is an obsession. he can't do anything in moderation, he becomes obsessed and it must be right. he knows it's often illogical but he can't do anything about it.
sensory overload: loud, prolonged noises overwhelm cameron, and he either has to retreat to somewhere quiet, or else he just starts to shut down. it's part of the reason he hates clubs, there's just too much sensory input for his brain to handle and he often ends up outside where it's peaceful.

flying: cameron has a paralyzing fear of flying. he literally has to take a sedative once he reaches the airport so he isn't having a panic attack by the time he gets on the plane, and just sleeps for the whole flight.
isolation: the thought of being alone for his entire life terrifies him. he doesn't necessarily want or need romantic love, but he needs people to stick by him for his entire life, be that friends, or someone who loves him.
The boy is intelligent, that is for sure, and he is an advisor, a counsellor, not a leader. His desire, his... compulsion to achieve perfection may be an issue, but I feel it is something we can work with.
THOTH, god of knowledge. Thoth and Cameron have their similarities. Both more inclined to advise than lead, to stand by instead of be in the action. The god brings out Cam's peace-keeper tendencies, while his need for perfection is a source of... not irritation, but a concern for the god. The god helps him remain balanced and not lose himself in that obsessiveness.

Enhanced Intelligence:: Cameron was already intelligent. But as a result of Thoth's presence, Cameron now has an eidetic memory, allowing him to memorise something upon reading it once. His reading speed has increased, and he's much more able to figure out how things work, to analyse them, in smaller periods of time than before. He's found that he needs to sleep more as a result and has a tendency to get migraines which only go away with time and rest. They're minimised if he wears reading glasses, but he can't do anything to stop them coming on.
Precognition:: In short, Cameron can now see the future. However, he's discovered he has little to no control over it. Visions will hit him out of nowhere, and he can't bring them on or stop them. It feels as though he's within them, experiencing everything that's happening in them. To onlookers, it will appear that he's having some kind of seizure, as his body reacts to whatever he's witnessing in the vision. His eyes glow a vibrant dark blue, and roll back in his head on occasion. He can experience pain within the images, but no injuries are lasting.

Thoth is considerably more balanced and calm than Cameron ever is. At times, Cam finds it grounding and comforting. At other times, he finds it irritating as his body is calmer than he wants or needs it to be. While he appreciates the increased intelligence, he finds the visions a curse due to his lack of control. Thoth feels similarly about Cameron. Sometimes Cameron's constantly rushing mind is a source of irritation and concern- other times he finds it useful to help him analyse and think.
William and Elizabeth mostly married to keep up appearances. The neighbours hardly even knew it was a shotgun wedding, it was arranged so quickly. Both came from upper class, old money families. A child born out of wedlock would have been a scandal, and so, five months after they were married, Cameron James was born. The marriage lasted until Cameron was ten. His mother met her first true love, and William and Elizabeth separated on good terms. At first, Cameron stayed with his mother. She was and always had been a housewife, but she took up designing her own clothes after the divorce. She was always around, and Cameron found his freedom limited. If he brought friends around after school, she was following them around, making sure Cameron was being a good host, and embarrassing him in the process. She was a little too enthusiastic, a little too involved, and when puberty and teenage mood swings hit Cameron with a vengeance, their relationship became strained as he told her so. He was seventeen when he decided to move in with his dad instead. His relationship with his mother has improved since then, and both will admit it was for the best. It's still a little strained, especially now that their perfectionism clashes, but they very clearly love each other.
His life with his dad was drastically different. He was a lawyer, and worked long hours. But he always made his son breakfast and Cameron always made dinner, and their relationship was good. Cameron was occasionally left alone for hours on weekends, where he'd binge-watch whatever crime dramas he could find. He'd watched them with his mom, and was already on track to study law, but this was his first experience with obsession and binging. Exams came around and his obsession changed to studying. He would spend hours pouring over his notes, to the point his father would check in on him to make sure he hadn't fallen asleep on his bean bag. He got into college with flying colours, and began studying law.
Here, he worked his ass off. It wasn't easy, but he loved it. He read around it in his free time, because it was the first time he'd encountered something that interested him so much. He consistently got good grades, but his perfectionism and obsession only got worse as time went on. His family and friends became deeply worried about him in final year, because he was so obsessive over his assignments. He would never dare submit them late, but there was multiple occasions where he accidentally pulled all-nighters trying to get them just right. And then everything worked out, and he graduated. He decided to take some time out before pursuing a masters. During this time, he decided to do his research into his various career paths and figure out what exactly he wanted to do his masters in. Only a few weeks ago, he had a dream in which he was writing with a quill and ink. He wrote a tale of Thoth's legacy, of a young lawyer blessed by him, blessed with knowledge and foresight. But in order to fulfill it, he must first journey to the god's homeland to receive his destiny. The next day, he was informed that he had been chosen to represent England at a conference of law graduates... being held in Cairo. Following his dream, he instantly agreed.
