Personality
Raina is is a soul that is full of beauty- inside and out. She is very quiet and sweet, always keeping up a cute charm about herself without really meaning to. While she is quite shy and tends to keep to herself, she has a way of lighting up the room when she smiles or laughs. Raina looks like she'd be very rebellious, but really she's very passive, always playing the little peace-maker. She's the kind of person that can melt the coldest of hearts, making it hard for people to hate her. But that also makes her seem easy to break, like a little kitten. Raina is very mother-like and accepting, but sometimes she's easy to scare. Sometimes she is a little too open, and gets hurt because of it. She sees the best in people, and doesn't think anyone can really be a 'bad' person. This makes it easy for people to take advantage of her. While she is still very passive, she will give up anything for those she trusts. Even if it means the end of her. Without even meaning to, she can melt the coldest of hearts. She tends to get attached to the people that she thinks need her the most, and most of the time ends up getting hurt. Despite this, her loving heart knows no bounds.
Brief Description

History
For her first five years of life, Raina's whole world was perfect. Until her mother developed Brief Psychotic Disorder. She would lash out at her daughter and her husband, going completly insane. Then in the next moment, she would be looking around, not knowing what happened. Then her father drown, with Rain and her mother looking on, unable to help. Durring one of her little 'moments' her mother freaked out, saying that her own daughter was the reason for the accident. She had pushed her father down into the water. In truth, Ell hadn't been paying attention. Still being young, she believed her mother. Her aunt (from her father's side) spread the word that little Raina had been the reason for her father's death, and people actually believed the old coot. Ashamed and not realizing that it had been her that started the rumor, her mother committed suicide, leaving a note that blamed her daughter. It was shocking what cruel, ugly things people said to Rain. When people tried to stand up for her, they dismissed it saying, 'She's too young to even know what I'm saying. She won't even remember'. But, she did. It scarred her for life. Rainatried to act like nothing had happened, and moved in with her grandparents. But she never forgot how gentle her father's smile had been, and how enamoring her mother's laugh was.

Shelter- Birdy
I find shelter in this way
Under cover, hide away
Can you hear when I say
I have never felt this way
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Could I be, was I there
It felt so crystal in the air
I still want to drown whenever you leave
Please teach me gently how to breathe
And I'll cross oceans like never before
So you can feel the way I feel it too
And I'll mirror images back at you
So you can see the way I feel it too
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
Maybe I had said something that was wrong
Can I make it better with the lights turned on
