Description

Image
Name:
Nixal Fger Nir
Age:
27 years old
Gender:
Female
Classification:
Slave
Race:
Werehyena

Like all lycanthropes, werehyenas possess strength and speed far beyond anything a human is capable of - they can bench press a car easily, and can move fast enough to seem like a blur to the human eye. Lycanthrope metabolisms are much faster than human metabolisms, which is why werehyenas need to consume more calories, why they heal so quickly, and also why they have a higher body temperature than humans.

Although they are immune to poisons and diseases, lycanthropes are highly allergic to silver. A werehyena's natural form is human. In appearance, they are typically impossible to distinguish from any other human, although their faster metabolisms mean they are always fit. If they spend too much time in hyena form, some characteristics may linger - for instance they may have hyena eyes, unusually long and sharp canine teeth, and perhaps a rough/growly voice. Werehyenas shapeshift into hyenas, somewhere between the size of a mastiff and a Great Dane. Some are also capable of taking a bipedal hybrid "hyenaman" form. Although the ability is rare, some alpha lycanthropes can shift isolated portions of their body if they choose, rather than their whole body. Lycanthropes return to human form upon their death.

The transformation itself is a violent process - bones snap and reform, skin splits, fur spills out, and a hot, sticky liquid is produced (which manages to get everywhere except the fully transformed werehyena). The process can take some time, depending on the age and ability of the werehyena involved. Powerful alpha werehyenas can sometimes shift very smoothly and rapidly, whereas newer or weaker werehyenas often take several minutes for their bodies to break down and reform. Changing form always takes a lot of energy, and changing to hyena form causes a hunger for meat. A shape change will heal all fresh wounds - even scars will fade gradually, if they were attained after the lycanthrope was infected.

If the shift is brought on naturally (by the full moon), typically a werehyena will spend six to eight hours in hyena form, followed by six to eight hours of comatose sleep. This coma time increases if a werehyena chooses to shift back early, although alpha weres require only a few hours of comatose sleep, if any at all. Staying in hyena form for a longer period is possible, but spending too long in hyena form hampers the ability to shift human - at first only small features will remain animalistic, but the longer they stay changed the less of their human instincts they retain, and eventually insanity can result. The risk of this lessens with a werehyena's power.

All of a lycanthrope's senses are heightened. They can hear a person's pulse just by standing nearby, they need minimal light to see, and they can track by scent. During the full moon, all lycanthropes must shift, though with more power and control comes the ability to delay this shift.

Her eyes are a dark brown.

Personality:
Nix is a bold young woman who is not about to lay down her life and be a stupid slave. She does not obey orders, she will even curse and fight. And she will do so until she can fight no more. She will not let herself be tamed, no matter what. She is free, and Nix will always be free, and she will do everything she can do about it to be free. She is vicious, and shows no mercy to her enemies. She is full of anger and will never forgive the ones who killed her family, including her mate.

(*) Nature, especially Savanna and dessert areas.
(*) Birds, they calm her down and she loves to hear them in the morning.
(*) The stench of dead animals, comes from her hyena genes.
(*) Her family, she lived with a large family.
Dislikes:
(*) Being taken away from her clan.
(*) Being trained like she is some wild beast.
(*) People who think they can train her.
(*) Being locked up in a cage or house.

History:
Nix was born with unknown genes but soon got to know her heritage and how important she was to the clan. She was cared of, trained with expert and careful hand, to raise her to be a good leader. She learned from her parents and from the other Werehyenas and enjoyed being one at night, especially when the full moon would set. When she reached the age of 16, she got a mate. He was kind and loving, and always stayed with her. He was willing to protect her with his life, and he would prove he really did. When she was 23, unknown creatures to her came, came and burned down other villages of her kind. And then they came across her village. Her clan fought long and hard, almost managed to free themselves, but after a year of war, the village was burned down. Only Nix and her mate were left, and nix sacrafised his life for Nix, and she got taken away. She was being trained, but it did not work.

Image

Reasons for former masters & training:
Nix does not allow herself to be trained. She has killed several masters over the past three years, and shall not let herself be trained and miserable. She is considered highly dangerous and most want to put her down, but she keeps fighting and will keep fighting. She has been given a red and black collar.

So begins...

It begins
Raven Loft: Master Hall

The land of Thaiden has been in a elemental turmoil for the last six days and it can be guessed that such will remain for longer still. Winds bite at exposed flesh while the rain cuts like a blade in the open air. Lightning scythes through the sky and cracks against the earth in an act of grand furry, turning land into a smoldering pit, trees into burning splinters, and sand into glass. Everyone hides themselves from this hell on the landscape as they huddle together in their homes and shut themselves away in the cities.

But the house of Raven Loft stands strong.
The guards watch their patrols and the fires burn to light the way for all on foot in this storm, as armored bodies waltz in tune with one another to keep the sanctity of this place in check. However on the horizon the sight of lights approach, it is the wagons carrying their load of flesh and spirit to the destination of this revered hall and their load heavy this night.

Though the night is dark with a moonless sky none can falsely tell that they do not see life in these covered cages. The chiming tune of shackles rattling together with the sway of the horses gate, make many of the wagon drivers easy in the storm. For they know that when their destination is reached then a night of rest and pay are well in hand, while some who gleam into the cages look forward to much different delights

The time of the transaction is short and practiced, many bodies and lives are ushered out of their containers and into the open air of the storm before being marched into Raven Loft. Though some fight and struggle with their bindings a strike from the rod and the reassurance of special irons make all their efforts for naught.
Master Kenner in all of his regal attire stands with his cohort Pesshka in attendance, they both glare at the new flesh being walked in out of the storm and cast strange glances as the different forms pass by.

Kenner shines a large smile as the different tones of fur and flesh parade towards him and are lined up before his steps like a sideshow of bondage. His eyes see much too his liking as he notices more then the usual amount of rare product on display. He walks slowly towards the group as they are each brought to their knees by the guards in attendance. Though the treatment itself is not harsh, the guards know that damage goods are worth far less and do not wish to inquire either Kenner's or Pesska's wrath.
But he still smiles as he runs a hand over his exposed midsection, his wardrobe is relaxed as much as one could get but the very air about him is off and sickening slightly. Pesshka on the other hand has a rather perplexing outfit on for most of the slaves and new guards to see. Her entire body is covered in a crimson red body suit that appears to have no real opening save for section of heavy buckles. He face however is covered with a singular mask that is slate white and is painted to look like a child's doll. Rose red cheeks and heavy eyelashes, the very look of such a person in her position is rather disturbing in of itself.

She walks behind Kenner as he looks from one slave to another, calling out their name as he checks each one and lightly touches their bodies as if a salesman inspecting a product. As she speaks her voice is found to be the most disturbing aspect of her, more so then a match for her appearance.
When she speaks it sounds as if that instead of speaking for herself, a mouth full of disembodied voices speak for her. Ranging from the seductive voice of a temptress to the innocence of a lost child.

~Bloodsong~
Kenner looks at the young man and smiles, even in such a vulnerable state he can see defiance in the little beast eye, More so then enough that he had to me muzzled prior to arriving. He runs a hand over the mans head stringing his fingers through his hair and keeping the smile bright. He feels around his shoulders and arms to gauge his physical strength as well to which he just grabs the Bloodsong by the chin and looks him in the eyes.."All this will change.. soon, mark him black" he says before walking by.

~Naamah~
For this one Kenner has an unusual chirp of glee in his eyes, kneeling as he gets on her level and eyes her body over. He runs her hair over her ear and gets strangely close too her face before speaking.."Its been sometime since your kind have graced these halls." He brings his head beside hers lightly brushing her ear with his lips "Another one who could not do their job." That moment caused an involuntary pulse to come through her and his hands received it easily, making his smile brighten. "Pink & red.. we will see just how much she has left in her" Kenner then steps away.

~Hope~
Kenner cocks his head on its side when he looks at this little slave, her expression shows an amount of fear and suspense and then he can already tell what kind of place she came from. He goes to one knee and looks her over, the dried tears on her face ever distinguishable from the rain and light bruising shows she was in harmful care before coming to his hands. He runs a hand lightly up her stomach and over the her chest in no way on par for discomfort. He takes both her hands in his and looks at them.. "Hmm your rather young.. don't worry child, we don't do things like that here." He runs her hand across his cheek and slyly smiles.."Ahh, well trained hands.. Orange for her." Pesshka checks the list as he stands and walks on.

~Alice~
The creature before Kenner does not throw him off, he has seen a few Sergals pass through Raven Loft before but not many like this one. She was still almost face to face with him despite being on her knees and eager to see what kind she was he started to look and inspect, running his fingers through her mane slowly. To his surprise she leaned into his touch and he could tell that she was obviously misplaced from her original owner. But their loss is his gain either way, the look in her eyes showed a honed intelligence from already living among a well kept house. He looks back at her and grins"Aren't you a sweetheart.. but still your tameness is desirable, white shale do for you... maybe you will have a rather grand future." He steps away from the Sergal and moves towards the next.

~Aurora Rose~
Kenner looks down at the mashed amount of dreads in his vision, not even being able to see the slaves face without kneeling himself to look below her hair. One look however was enough to tell that she was rather temperamental about her position. She peered out through anger lit eyes and huffed in contempt through her nose, after which Kenner noticed the large iron ring around her neck. "Well.. have some brimstone in our blood do we."
He chuckles as he looks her over and runs a finger across the bottom of her chin, which in itself causes a heavy tense sensation coursing through her. He keeps his face lightly blank as he marks her.. "Red.. & black, she will be somewhat of a trouble in the future." He flips some of her locks off of her face and turns towards the next slave.

~Nix Nir~
He turns toward Pesshka after speaking the name from the list and looks back towards Nir with a surprised expression...My.. my you are far from home, aside from our little winged friend over there who might I add is not even from this plane. You got the others beat for distance." That is when he notices her irons, they bear sigils and a large silver inlay as he eyes them over. He leans in and puts his nose on her head and gives a deep breath of inhalation and pulls away with an exited sigh.."No not wolf.. or bear.. how perplexing, I'll have to see you for myself when the time comes." He brushes her long hair away from her neck and see's that she already bears a collar. Two halves Red and Black are both on the article and he laughs for a moment. "Well.. someones stubborn, but I guess your mine now" He takes one more sniff of her hair as he walks away.

~Alistair~
Kenner looks over the little Neko before him, even though he has been locked in a cage for several days now and going through all this he looks up and Kenner with a strange sense of admiration in his eyes. Kenner can already tell that this boy, being at his age was sent away for extra training and that slightly pissed him off. "You know I dislike breeders, they think they can train them well but instead they make for poor company when it comes down to it." He gives the little Neko a scratch behind the ear and sees that he likes it.. "However he is in good shape and at least he has basic.. if not minor training already imprinted. Pink with a small mark of black, just to be sure." He steps away from the Neko finally.

~Miyako~
The little girl lightly trembled at Kenner's feet, either by the cold or out of of the sensation of fear one could not tell. He looked her over and once again ran his hand up her stomach and chest lightly, he lifter her gaze to meet his and spoke.. "I see.. your even younger and lost, while that is I assure you quite sad the truth is now what it is. This is your fate, embrace it." He watched as her eyes danced to avoid his and then moved down onto her shoulders and hands. He picked one hand and began to run her fingers through with his.."Someone knows how to use a brush it seems.. Blue & Orange she has a future yet." He stands and moves on.

~Narcissa~
Off from the start Kenner could tell that this one was special, what little water that was left in her hair from the rain had lightly frosted over and began to flake off as he brushed her locks towards the side. She flashes him a bat of her eyelashes as he does this and he smiles in return. Going further he raises both her arms and can see the golden bracelets under her other bindings. "So.. an elemental, that should make you rather interesting in the long run." As if to test her resolve he grips her around the waist lightly with his hands and the reaction is only small look from her, not much different then before. However Kenner can tell the difference.. "Oh and you a deceptive one aren't you? Black.. preparations will need to be made for her cell." Kenner moves away from her then and proceeds.

~Kit Kuchini~
"Oh another, how quaint." Even though his words were not sarcastic there was a tone of jackass behind his teeth. He was not fond of Nekos himself, most people who required such a pet usually had something sick wrong with them. Then he looked back at Pesshka and remembered what he did in her training.. "Good times.. now about you" the young Neko was showing signs of wear and mistreatment, but despite this he did responded well to being touched in the right places. So the best part was that his spirit was not broken and he still had a chance to find a real master that was perfect for him. "I guess blue shall be alright for you.. for now"

Kenner stepped back placing himself at Pesshka's side and looked down at her chart before looking back up.

"Welcome to Raven Loft.. if you have not heard of this place then don't worry I don't give history lessons. Your life is now in my hands and I am Kenner your head master. All of your training comes through me and all of the trainers within Raven Loft answer to none other then me." He begins to walk back pacing himself in front of them.

"I understand this can be new and rather daunting at the moment, but give it time for the feeling will pass and with the passing of that comes acceptance. However if you insist on resisting whatever means we have to better you lives then I can assure you that your time here will become rather unpleasant. My head caretaker Pesshka will be in charge of your housing and care, if there is anything about your living conditions you require then by all means ask them of her. However I suggest you do not abuse her.. (hehe) good nature." The laugh was slightly snuffed out but the unease could not be broken with Pesshka staring with her expressionless mask over his shoulder.

Kenner strikes a rather serious face as he steps back and heads up the stairs.."Do not fight against your training.. do as your told and we shall all enjoy the days to come." Kenner walks up the stairs with his robe swaying behind him and then Pesshka steps into view.
~Its time to see your accommodations.. now.~
The guards ussher the new slaves up onto their feet and begin to lead them into the halls of Raven Loft, the ears of each are accosted by the sounds of other within the vast hall. Voices and sounds of more then a tempting nature can be heard, while other sounds are sweet and soft. Music that mixes within the vast archways can be heard coming from all around and as that sound grows dim the slaves are lead into a large housing room with parallel cells.

The cells sit in groups of four that are close, but not within arms reach of one another. It appears that all of the slaves will be set into the same area and that is when Pesshka speaks again.. ~Commom practice is you came here together so you stay together for as longs as required.~
The contents of the cells however are unique, they each hold a bed and table, a chair and even a slide in the back corner that maintains at least some privacy. The quarters here for slaves are meant for those with at least a sense of manners and Pesshka looks the group over as she pairs up cells for them. Her only concern is with the Sergal Alice, she may have some kind of prior training but Pesshka will still assign a guard to move her for 'walking' privileges.

*the orders go as such*
Four cells set almost corner to corner and each cluster is in sight of each other, each being a ten by ten cell for singular use. Each slave has a bed, table, chair, cup & mug, bathing pale(large thin steel bowl) and lightly concealed restroom. The rotation of the cells and contents can change with an order from Pesshka.

*placement is as such*

The guards leave out of the the room while three maintain their station at the entrance and Pesshka begins to follow them out. She turns and looks at the new slaves situated in their cells and speak..~If I might suggest.. no crying, I hate crying.~ She perks up for a moment before raising and hand and pressing her fingers together.
~Now good night and sleep dreams, we have a long day tomorrow.~ With that she snaps her fingers and somehow by cue the lights in the room begin to die slowly and dim the room to a more soothing tone.

The night is still young and our slaves are at rest for once in a long time, the shackles have been removed for freedom of movement and muzzles set aside. They have personal space too themselves now and even company that keeps no matter what one says. Hopefully the night will end with everyone still alive and well.

Miyako slid deeper into the side of the cage, the fear of her bonds and the unknown that awaited her drowned out by the frightening sounds of thunder and the lightning that seemed so close. With every bolt she counted, hoping that the number would get higher each time, but it didn't. Sometimes the count would be four seconds, sometimes eight seconds, sometime more. The fear grew in her body from the thought that she may never make it to her destination, that she may be killed by a stray bolt.
It seemed like so long ago that her village was attacked, she had hidden for several days in a the fields, hoping that the men would go away. What she didn't understand was the men were not thieves, or a barbarian tribe attacking to get what they could and leave. The men were there to stay. When she finally came out from the fields to forage for food, she was spotted by a young boy who pointed her out to his father and she was grabbed. "I hate that boy." she says almost everyday. "I wish he were dead!" Instead of killing her like they had most of her village, the men saw her as a way to make more money and she was sold to slavers.

Miyako slid her legs tighter against her small body. She is fifteen years old, but she looks younger. "I just want out of here." she whimpers quietly. She sits shivering in her chains, the booms of thunder frightening her waiting for them to reach wherever.

The wagon stopped and she was dragged from the the wagon and set on her knees. Miyako sat with her head down afraid to look up and see what might be there, who might be there. She could hear him call out names like ~Bloodsong~ and ~Naamah~ and ~Hope~, but after every name his voice got lower, not softer, but lower and more menacing. Whoever was speaking, she was already scared of him.

"~Miyako~" the voice called. Miyako jumped just abit, her body shook more - it was her turn. The man touched her stomach and rode hisfinger to her chest and then lifted her face upward. His eyes looked so hard, so cruel, she tried to look everywhere but at him.
"I see.. your even younger and lost, while that is I assure you quite sad the truth is now what it is. This is your fate, embrace it." He napped. He ran his fingers on her hands, probed her fingers with his, "Someone knows how to use a brush it seems.. Blue & Orange she has a future yet." He said coldly then moved on.

As scared as she had been the whole way, she was terrified now. She struggled not to cry, but it was hard. Tears built up in her eyes, some falling on the ground. Before she was afraid of what was going to happen, this was worse, much worse than what she thought it would be.

Miyako never looked up the whole time, not when he finished his speech, not when his assistant spoke, not when they put her in a cell. She couldn't look, it would be too real, too scary. When they unchained her in her cell she just stood there, not moving. The woman told them not to cry, but she had too, she was too scared and it all seemed to hopeless. So, she quietly cried, her tears falling from her face.

Nix was not scared, not at all. She feared her catchers not, and she would fear this place and whoever person was there to command her around not either. No way was she fearing the stupid men that thought they could train her and bring her down like a broken animal. She was not a broken animal. Nix was a strong woman, and proud of herself. She had lost her family, her mate had taken a bullet for her, and she had been sold in Slavery, well, she did not care. She would return to Africa, create her tribe as it was, and make sure her kind would live forth. Yes, that is that Nix would do.

Whatever she was in, pulled to a stop and she was dragged from her cage and forced on her knees. She struggled violently, trying to kill the men that thought they could bring her down. She growled low and looked up for a moment, Nix noticed other persons, whoever they were, and a man who seemed as proud as she had been at the tribe. She growled lowly and looked down as the man called the names. She grumbled, finding this unnecessary.

Nix looked up with proud in her eyes and stubbornness that she would not let go. She narrowed her eyes at the man. ''My.. my you are far from home, aside from our little winged friend over there who might I add is not ever from this plane. You got the others beat for distance." Nix growled softly. She growled when the man sniffed her head but stayed silent. "No not wolf.. or bear.. how perplexing, I'll have to see you for myself when the time comes." Nix growled, that he could not even recognize the proud hyena inside her. He moved aside her hair and saw the collars and she smirked proudly. "Well.. someones stubborn, but I guess your mine now." He took one more sniff and left. She grinned wildly, proud of herself and surely not intimidated by this pathetic man who thought he could be better then the rest and not die.

Nix was ushered to a cell with a bed. She smirked proudly and once the chains and all that pathetic stuff and jumped onto her bed and laughed. She laid down and smiled happily. ''Thing your so tough hé!? I'll teach you a little lesson you pathetic man, and the pathetic trainers will be first in line to be taught. And I'll come after you. Wait and see, and cower in a corner when I come to get and kill you!''

Aurora struggled in her chains, she hated being treated as an animal, anyone who got close enough she would snap her jaws at and try to bite them. When she was taken in some place and put on her knees she tried to stand but they wouldn't allow her to. There was some man talking to them but she was not really listening, she was trying to look around to find a way out. There was others around her but she didnt pay them much attention either. Suddenly someone was kneeling in front of her, she glared at the man with eyes of hate Well.. have some brimstone in our blood do we." She heard the man say, then she felt the fingers of the mantouch her chin and she tensed up "Red.. & black, she will be somewhat of a trouble in the future." the man said and then walked off. "You've got that right" she said under her breath.

After a little while she was taken by a guard and brought with the others to a cage, she wasn't some animal and she really wished they wouldnt treat her as one. She was taken to a cell and her chains and cuffs where taken off, she looked to the others and her eyes focused on the one as she heard her say ''Thing your so tough hé!? I'll teach you a little lesson you pathetic man, and the pathetic trainers will be first in line to be taught. And I'll come after you. Wait and see, and cower in a corner when I come to get and kill you!''

She leaned against the cage and looked at the other "ill helpif you like?"

Nix was looking around and thinking about killing the pathetic man when a person asked if she could use help. Nix smirked ever so faintly and proudness was upon her face that she would not let go. She was proud, always had been proud. So why wouldn't she be proud right now? Plus, she had killed several trainers before, it was as easy as breathing.

Nix sat up and turned towards the creature, or whoever the person was, that had asked Nix if she needed help. She eyed Aurora Rose and narrowed her eyes slightly, then got up and bowed. ''I might use some help. Even though, I have killed trainers before, and it's as easy as breathing.'' Nix smirked proudly.

How to terrorize a man and let him know Nix was not up for training. She laughed in a hyena way, a bit hysterical. And over the years, she had learned how to shift without full moon, which was more then great, it came in handy. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the beast inside her, and let it go free. Bones snapped and reformed, skin splits, fur spilled out, and she changed into a hyena, as big as a Great Dane. She had also learned how to control her hunger for meat. She laughed, like a real hyena, not intimidated by the fact she was locked up. Plus, a locked up animal goes wild anywhere soon, so they'd better watch out, because there she stood, fully hyena, waiting for them to come.

Miyako stood, almost motionless, the tears dropping slowly from her eyes. She thought back to the destruction of her village, the death of so many good people. She never understood how she escaped, why the gods had blessed her by sparing her the sword or ax. But now, now she is sure it wasn't a blessing, it was a curse. The Gods had damned her to this wretched existence, to be a slave.

She listened to the voices and sounds around her, her nose twitched and her face crawled from the smells. She was frightened by the creature in another cage that had snarled so fiercely and the other creature in hers that had made such a racket, that was promising she would never be tamed, that she would kill the man that held her here. She was afraid that creature would practice on her and right now, she half-hoped that the girl would.
She tried to tell herself that it wasn't real, she had an accident and was injured, delirious, but it didn't work. This place was real and no amount of wishing was going to change that. She stood staring at the ground, giving up any hope that she'd ever be free again, much less go home.

Then she heard a voice she was sure was talking to her. It sounded gentle and concerned, "Hello? Are you okay?"
Miyako stood trying to decide how to respond, she wanted to nod her head, she wanted to say, "I'm fine." She wanted to be like the girl in the cage with her, defiant and brave, but it wasn't in her. Both from nature and nurture, she was a passive girl, an obedient girl, not a fighter, not someone who could menace people or animals. She just wanted everyone and everything to be happy.

Then, she not only shook her head, but she shook her whole body, no. She wasn't alright, she wasn't even sort of maybe, okay, she was terrible. She made several feeble whines, but nothing else. Then she dropped on the ground, pulled her legs into her chest and began sobbing, because it was the only thing she could think to do.

Nix was up and alert when she noticed someone enter, Pesshka and bared her teeth, not willing to step down from anyone even if it was a King. She snarled low and held her head high, being proud. She was proud of herself that she had made it this far, and soon she would be free forever. She would kill Kenner, and Pesshka, and anyone in her way, slave or not. She was going to be free, and nothing was going to stop her from being free, no matter what.

The giant hyena laughed in the hyena way and forced her body into the bars of the cell, snarling and laughing. She did not care it would hurt, she would heal fast thanks to her metabolism, so she did not worry about it. She took a few steps back and repeated the action, swinging herself into the bars and laughing. Nix was just daring anyone to come close.

Kenner

Kenner gave Teagen a warm greeting as well as he could and then it was that he saw Kaede from the edge of the hall coming towards them. The man was quite younger then he thought, but then again Kenner has had dealings with his house in the past and with his predecessors so with all the times everything must change.
The young prince was eloquent as his father and maybe more so, but his honeyed words towards Teagan showed he was just as much a womanizer as his grandfather. Kenner chuckled behind his teeth for a moment and gave the prince a quick bow as was his custom for royalty. Though miss Teagen was one of his best clients he was not going to betray his own set workings. The prince finishes approaching the two and stands before them to present himself.

This was a rather opportune time for them to arrive seeing as they would be able to get situated into their own quarters before noon and that would allow them to get fully settled.

"Well Prince Kaede it is good to see that you are doing well and may I extend a full welcome from Raven Loft" He gives a quick motion towards Mistress Taegan. "This is Mistress Taegan Holmes, she is one of the other masters that will be spending her time here to acquire a slave for herself." He looks out towards the opening from where Kaede came and speaks lightly.
Strange I was expecting another this day, maybe she isn't as early" His eyes catch a view that is not quite in his liking, several guards are hoisting a slave along the way in the corridor and then in a moment the slave tries to break free. Kenner can see from there that she is a Naga of a much different breed then he's seen before. Kenner restrains himself from running out to see what the guards are doing and turns to face the two masters.
"It appears that duty has begun calling so early in the day, so I ask that you let this guard.." which is when he snaps and finger and one of the stairway guards quickly trots out to stand at his side. "Pan here will lead you both up to your rooms on the penthouse ring and both of you can take which fits your needs and I trust both of you will be satisfied with the choices" Kenner takes another slight bow toward the two and steps away being as calm as he can with a wicked look in his eye. It isn't until bot Kaede and Taegan have disappeared up the stairs that he breaks his stride and breaches the hallway to see the guards crowded around the Naga trying to coax her up off the floor.

Kenner slides up behind them and he swats one on the side of the head slightly to get his attention, the guard turns around with a rather pissed look in his eye until he see's that it is in fact Kenner that did the act. There was a look in his face that meant he almost soiled himself at the revelation and with that all the guards straightened up in attention in front of Kenner effectively dropping the Naga.
"Anything I should know because I don't think you can slide this one under the rug like a dropped pork chop." He barely raises his voice at the men, but still the portrayal that he is angered at them is enough to make them more then a little nervous. He kneels at the naga on the floor, her heavy but thin form wheezing and drawing breath with an almost pained expression. Kenner snaps the pin connecting her wrist irons with his hands and lifts her up, he dirty body transferring the contents of her cage onto the front of his robes and stomach.

"With how well I pay you to do your job, I would expect you to know the difference between hot and cold blooded." He carries her closer to the brazier at the end of the hall and lays her down only a few feet from the flames before turning towards the same guard from before.."Bring some towels to dry her off and get someone from the kitchen.." He turns her head to look into her eyes and places his hands along her neck and rubs down towards her stomach "Tell them to bring chicken broth, enough for six me." The guard gives a dazed stare for a moment before Kenne stares he down again. "I don't recall stuttering" The guard nods before running off with another in tow as to finish the work faster.

As if on cue for more trouble a guard came sauntering down the hall from the front gate and approached Kenner.. "Apologies on interrupting you sir, but Mistress Syntira has arrived and she says your expecting her" Kenner almost sighs with frustration, but at this point he was rather expecting this to happen. It only takes him a moment before he decides what to do as he looks back at the guard.
"Go and escort Miss Syntia to the upper ring and let he choose a penthouse.. oh and make sure to tell her that I apologize for not being able to meet her under these circumstances. Just make sure to inform her as well as Prince Kaede and Mistress Teagen that I would like to invite them to mid day meal in the dinning hall and make sure to have the guards collect them when the time comes." Not needing to be retold the guard understands his orders and gives a hearty clack of his heels before running off towards the front gate.

He looks down at the Naga in his hands and see's that her eyes are still rather lucid for the time being, he gives her a slight rub on the side of the cheek and gains eye contact with her. "So.. do you even have a name? Can you even speak?"

Pesshka slightly gets agitated with whats transpiring in the cells, the angel is growing a mouth on her and the werehyena has begun to grow on Pesshka's nerves. The repeated slamming of her large form into the bars resounded throughout the entirety of the room. Pesshka only took several glances at the two before he could also see that the wolf hybrid was beginning to act up as well. Snarling and cutting his eyes towards her, this did not entirely bother Peeshka seeing as she had been the target of such things before. But it was the Angel that got such a atitude that really did it.

Pesshka looked at the three in her view and stepped back from Naamah's cell placing her hand upon her mask while speaking.. ~Let me teach you something my little fallen bird..~ She then gave a small twist and her mask popped of with a click of small hinges and she lowered that hand revealing that there was nothing being the mask. Just a pitch black surface that did not even bare the form of a face.
Then with a quick motion Peeshka lurched forward pointing her face towards the floor letting out a thick wave of black fluid. The oozing mass began to creep along the floors of the entire ward and crawled with a life of its own towards the reaches of the room. As the liquid entered Namaah's, Nix's and Bloodsong's cells as a mass of limbs jutted out from within, the three were quickly pinned to the ceiling of their separate cages as the forms of people began to arise out of the ooze as well. Faces and other limbs were starting to make appearances in front of the slave, each bearing gnashing teeth and lapping tongues with voices following shortly behind.

One form that broke through was rather feminine in shape and prodded outwards in front of Namaah. It bore a woman's face but also bore vastly skeletal features as it spoke with the torrent of voices. ~It is far easier to fall from heaven then it is to claw your way up from hell.. so do not speak to me of turmoil." the face gave a sickly smile then ~But it is good that you have kept your pride.. you will need that strength in the days to come.~ and then strangely all of the hands release and the three are dropped against the floor as all the dark ooze is pulled violently back across the floor and up into the vessel from which it came. Moving so much mass that the head and neck of Pesshka's body was distorted to let the fluid back in.

With the mass back inside and the voices silenced she twisted her neck slightly, letting a small pop of bone out before she replaces her mask and then begins to skip off around the cells and out the door.

Nix watched the woman with narrowed when she removed her mask and snarled low. She took a step back and snarled, not caring what the woman would do about it. Nix was not going to give up, no matter what. She was who she was, and she would fight for her freedom, and would do anything for it. So backing away was no choice for her. It had never been a choice for her, not when she was alpha in the clan, not now that people thought she could be broken and made into a perfect servant. No way, she was not going to give up on her freedom.

Nix watched the black fluid with a slight confused look and snarled loudly at it, not accepting it at all that it just entered her cage where she was. She looked at the woman and snarled even more when it lunged and pushed her up against the ceiling, what did the woman think!?

Nix snapped at the fluid trying to get loose until the woman spoke to the bird. The fluid released her and she landed on her legs. She stabilized herself and snarled viciously at the woman. And as the woman skipped away, Nix smirked and laughed, nothing more but daring her to come in the cage, because Nix would kill the woman.

"The other Neko is right. Things will get better. You're just in shock, is all. Trust that things will be okay, and they will be. They have to be" the being in the other cage tries to assure and console her, but it wasn't helping. He is in a cage just like her and unless he is some powerful being that could see into the future, nothing he says means anything.
For Miyako this whole situation is beyond comprehension, "How can they be so, so unafraid?" she wonders about the others, "Why don't they seem scared?" She'd like to appear as brave as them, but it's no use. She's ignorant about the world and people she knows that now. Her mother was right, "The world outside our community is cold and unfeeling. Our village has problems, but the outside world is much worse."
From somewhere in the dark she hears clocking sounds. The sounds send shivers through her body that she can feel into her soul. The sound is evil. She doesn't know why she's so sure of that, but she is. She stops crying and pulls tighter into a ball, pulling her knees as close to her chest as she can, burying her chin into her knees, keeping her eyes and ears open for anything and everything. Then she hears a voice; confident, demanding, condescending and more. It's his assistant, the woman who told them not to cry.
~Let me teach you something my little fallen bird..~ Pesshika's voice threatens. Then everything grows silent for a few brief moments and then the loud, threatening girl laughs.
"I can't do this," she whimpers. "I want out. I wanna go home." Miyako rolls over on her side, silently twisting and playing with her hair, she just lays there. The last thing she said has made her situation only worse, she has reminded herself that she has no home to go to.

"A Penthouse?" Syn stood baffled for a few moments. She hadn't planned on staying at the Raven Loft, but she wouldn't dare be rude enough to deny his generous offer. "Can't I see the little darlings first? What if they have a favorite color? I might have to accommodate their tastes in my decision." The soldiers seemed to be just as stubborn as she, but she could tell they were acting more on fear than simple respect of their Lord. Inhaling slowly, Syntira crossed her arms. One of her eyebrows raised, and the slits in her eyes seemed to thin. "I assure you, whatever Penthouse I am left with will be fine. I am not very picky when it comes to my housing. Trust me, my kind live in caves."

"I am sorry, Miss, but we have our orders." One of the bolder guards spoke up. Sighing, Syn decided that it was best to not cause trouble just upon her arrival. "Fine... Take me to the rooms. I assure you, we'll be back down here in a few moments." The Dragonkin was lead down a narrow corridor then up a few flights of stairs. When she reached the floor that held the penthouses, a smile immediately spread over her face. "My my... Your Lord certainly knows how to treat customers." She cooed, running her fingers along one of the wall decorations.

"He will be pleased to hear that, Mistress. Master Kenner took careful preparations to ensure the happiness and comfort of all those staying with us. Now, how about this room?" Syntira was ushered into a room and her jaw dropped. Floral decorations hung everywhere; ranging in color from fuchsias and lavenders to roses and violets. It was... Not her type.

"This room won't do. It's too... Human." Syn shook her head and made a "shooing" gesture with her arms. The man looked at her confused for a moment, before clearing his throat and piping up. "Right, Dragonkin. Being a Master and having interacted with many species, Master Kenner has rooms for peop-... For your kind." The Dragonkin flashed him a wicked smile, and he turned swiftly and led her down the lobby-looking room. Another door opened and her smile instantly widened. Black silk adorned the gorgeous king bed with silver lining. Black and silver seemed to be the theme of the room, along with the choice fabric of silk. She walked through the room, running her fingers along the furniture happily. About 10 feet from the foot of her bed stood a fireplace-something very important for a reptilian species like herself. The room was perfect.

"Miss, we have also been instructed to tell you of a mid-day lunch with the Master. We will inform you of when you are to come dow-"
"Downstairs? I'm planning on making a trip there already. I told you I wanted to see the little beasties Master Kenner has, and trust me, if I miss out on them because of you sweeping me around this place no one will be happy." Her face fell for a few moments after the last words, staring into the guard's eyes. Just before the man finally breathed again, she smiled and cocked her head to the side. "Now, make sure that fire is running and we'll be alright. Well, shall we?"

Led by a few soldiers, Syntira hurried down the stairs that the Prince had just wandered up. They passed briefly, just enough for Syn to make eye contact with both Kaede and Teagen before continuing with determination. The guards exchanged wary looks before leading her down the hallway towards the room containing the prized merchandise, just as Eavia had stepped out.

"Master Kenner?" She called into the room. "I hope I'm not interrupting anything-" Syntria stopped when her eyes fell upon a small boy towards the back of the room. He had white ears with a matching white tail, and her eyes didn't move from his figure. He was the first Neko she had seen this close, and she was immediately drawn to him. She smiled warmly, not knowing if the boy was watching her or not. Next her eyes scanned and locked on the next Neko she saw, a canine-like boy with a red stripe across his face. He was growling in the corner, and she was concerned of what had upset him so. Scenting the air, Syntira's attention turned again. A... Hyena? Such a thing of beauty... The Dragonkin thought to herself. She wanted to get a closer look at all the species, but her attention was immediately drawn to the Nekos and the Werehyena.

"I'm sorry Lord Kenner, she insisted. We will take her back if that is what you-" The man was silenced by a harsh reptilian glare shot at the man. A couple moments passed before she relaxed her gaze.
"Master Kenner, may I have a closer look? " Only then did the Mistress turn to the newly identified Master Kenner, noticing him walking away from a beautiful Naga. She smiled, Dragonkin and Nagas were close species. She couldn't wait to communicate with her later. Noticing the Lord's head in his hand, she swiftly traveled across the room, laying a comforting arm on his shoulder.

"Master Kenner, is everything alright?"

Nix grumbled, she had laid down on the bed, still feral and kept a close eye on who entered and who left. And then some woman entered and she snarled lowly. She bared her teeth in the progress and narrowed her eyes, suspicious about the woman, and she had noticed Kenner too. No, not master Kenner, just Kenner. Nix laughed and walked before the bars, first to the right, then back to the left, and she repeated it again. She continued doing this for a while and growled at the frustration of being locked up in a cage. She was free! No one had the right to lock her up!

Nix went to the back of her cage, ran forward, and forced her side into the bars. She knew this probably had no effect, but she would try and try until she or the bars would break. Either way, she would get out, no matter what. And she would kill Kenner, and anyone that stood in her way too.

The white feral hyena snarled and laughed as she pushed her side in the bars again, focused on one main thing, to kill Kenner, like she had killed other masters before. She snarled as she for a third time forced her side into the bars and locked her jaws around one, then released it after a few chews.

Sometimes, people claimed Naga had a sixth sense. This was not in anyway true except for the very few and far between who legitimately possessed that gift. Instead, they were hyper aware to small changes in their surroundings. The ambient temperature, the vibrations of the ground, the hum of somebody's breath through their body and the faintest traces of perfume and pheromones. When a Naga was alert or suspicious, it was nearly impossible to sneak up on them. And so it was that Nitha realised the sudden change in air possibly before anybody else realised something was happening. Nitha immediately froze, flattening herself against her warmer, stilling in her drinking with a mouthful still on her tongue.

She wasn't stupid. This creature had already carried her with little concern for her weight, only her mass. He was strong, and she was a runt for her kind. She might be bigger than him now, but it looked like he could easily change that. So Nitha didn't try to be strong, or big, or brave. Instead she threw out every bit of Naga body language to say 'don't mind me, just ignore me, I'm small, I'm hiding, you're bigger and badder, I'm not worth bothering with.' If he looked at her she'd close her eyes to reinforce the message.

That was certainly not his mate of any description. She'd yet to see anything react that way to something. However after a moment the overwhelming presence in the air faded and Nitha swallowed her mouthful, continuing with her steady eating although keeping her flattened posture. The beast that had been so loud finally became a registered presence in Nitha's mind as it flung itself with ungodly noise against the bars of its cage. Nitha jumped and scowled as a bit of broth spilled out of her bowl and on to her hand. At any other time she would have licked it off, but her hands were filthy. She turned her head to look over her right shoulder, staring at the thing that was insisting on throwing itself against the bars again and again. Nitha blinked and one thought crossed her mind. Stupid. In fact, not just stupid, but Stupid. It seemed to think that its flesh would somehow win out against the metal, and Nitha couldn't see a single shred of hope for that. It was also being obscenely noisy and Nitha suddenly hoped that either it or she would move. However, she couldn't see much sense of her being moved if the strange/kind one had made this cell precisely for her. She twisted her head around, keeping her non-threatening posture. Nope. Nowhere was there an arrangement quite like hers. So she'd just have to hope the animal would be removed, since it made absolutely no sense that it would be in here with what she assumed were other self aware creatures. She was filled with the sudden, uncharacteristic desire to give the damn thing a full body hug and see if it would have a nice long nap while its blood and air flow recovered. Instead, Nitha adjusted her coils, the tip of her tail curling over the top of her head to cover her ears while she polished off her third bowl and started on the fourth. It didn't do much for the vibrations, but it did do wonders for the snarling.

Nix had calmed down again and had stopped her forcing herself into the bars, instead, she was chewing the bars. She would find a way out, no matter what. It was as simple as that. And she would return home, and she'd do anything for that. And she would kill Kenner, and any master and trainer that thought they could train her, make Nix into a good slave. Nix was not planning on, so it wasn't happening. She had killed masters before, and she would do it again. It was easy, and simple, and she would be out of here forever and return to her home.

''Kenner Kenner, hide in a corner.
Kenner Kenner, because in the morning,
I'll be coming,
I'll make meat and crack your skull,
And you'll be dull,
A lifeless body that has the name Kenner,
Will lay in my cage and my door will be open,
And I will return home.
So Kenner Kenner, hide in a corner, because in the morning I'll be coming.
And Dawn will colour the shade of blood,
And I will go home,
Go home.''

Nix laughed, she would take the skull of Kenner with her to her home, and anyone daring to capture her again would see the skull first and flee. They will never dare to hurt her, or to train her. No! They would be too scared. And she would return with the taste of blood from Kenner, and his skull would get a nice place in her hut. No matter what Kenner was going to do, he was not going to train her even if he brought in the best masters, or the best trainers. Nix was untameble! She was not going to be tamed and be a good slave. No, Nix was going to be free! And she will do whatever it takes to be free! Even if it meant killing other slaves here, she did not care. She was going to return home.

Miyako lays on her bed listening to the sounds of the prison. She doesn't look up, not even when the big commotion is happening outside involving some new prisoner. Curiosity is inside her, but not enough that she's willing to check and see that things really are worse. Murmurs from around the cells are speaking of a snake creature that has been brought in. Instead of peaking her curiosity, it merely frightens her more. "They'll probably feed us to that thing." she worries. Miyako has fallen into a depressed, terror stricken state tat she doesn't seem to be able to climb out of.
As she lays there she hears scraping on the floor and she smells something, Food!" she sits up. She's hungry, but wary too. Each creature in the cells is given their own tray, even the loud, angry girl. Miyako picks up the tray and stares at the food. "Bread, soup, meat and fruit. It looks and smells good - too good. "They're probably trying to poison us." she says aloud setting it back on the floor.
"If it looks too good to be true, it is." Shaman Asako used to say. He was the one who opposed inviting the outsiders in and he was correct. "Better alive and hungry, than a stomach full and dead." she says. The girls is still making a racket. Going on about killing Kenner. It's upsetting Miyako, but she also wants the girl to succeed. She wants out of here - BADLY! If it means the death of Kenner, GOOD!
She lays listening to everyone and everything in the cell and can take it no more, "I hope you kill him." she yells and then goes back to her silence. She could never kill anyone, she's weak and timid. Besides, "Killing is the last resort of the hero and the first choice of a wretch." another Asako maxim.

Kenner

Kenner beckoned Syntira and Eavia, Peeshka was bringing up the rear of the group and they moved up the stairs once more. They traveled all the way back towards the penthouse ring and as they edged the top of the stairs turned to head directly away from kenner's quarters. The small group moved through the large oaken doors at the other end of the large ring and it was then they stepped into the dinning hall.
Kenner himself was glad to see that Kaede already seated, this made his happy that at least something was going as planned and he allowed the others to take their seats anywhere on the large table they wished. He could see though that the woman that accompanied Kaede were beginning to leave, their white dresses and pert form marked them as the attendants of the penthouse quarters. The fact that they are slaves as well did not bother him because they had been born into such a fate and therefore were content with their place in life.

He sat as well at the head of the table and only bothered to pour himself a glass of whine from a nearby bottle. Pesshka moved herself behind him and gave his head a slight caress as she stepped away and moved out of the room back into the main rotunda and down the stairs.
"I am glad to see that we could all finally take some time to converse." He takes a small sip of his wine, which strangely has a moggy purple color and given the aspect of the silver lined bottle only makes the drink more strange.
"Before we begin with any other pleasantries I would like to ask if either of you have any other question?"

* * * *

Pesshka moved herself back down into the main hall and stood in the wash of the midday light coming from the venting in the ceiling. She could not really feel the light but for her, to just bask in it was good enough.
One of the guards approached her and spoke.."Mam.. are you not going to attend the lunch hour with Kenner?" His words were calm and firm, he had no real fear of Pesshka as he had worked under her for a long time. Peeshka did not do much but move slightly shifting her hips and stance to face him. ~No.. he is with his "Clients".~ The very tone in which she spoke meant words of apathy towards what was happening upstairs.

She perked up for a second, as if the look of enthusiasm could be seen rushing across her nonexistent face. ~I think I will go see how the stock is doing with their meal.. You know how the first feeding can be.~

She trotted off once more with a skip in her step as if a child who was going to play a nice game after the troubles of school. Within a few minutes she was back within the holding area once again and she was looking at the kitchen hands as they were leaving with their machination in hand. The scent of the food could still be smelt in the air and she tilted her leather wrapped head back to catch some more of it.
It was then that she began to walk the cells, peering in and seeing what the ones inside were up to. If they were eating and behaving she could care less, that was not the aspect she was looking for. In fact she was looking for the ones with more interest in their eyes and actions in the being. Her first sight came when she laid her eyes on Bloodsong, she looked into his cell and could see that he was not touching his meal. Leaning against his bars she looked him over and knew that he was in suspect of the food handed to him.

While she could see that he was right in his suspicion, but it was that fact that meant he would most likely fight eating. So she knocked on his bars and pointed. ~Eat..~ she poked her finger in the direction of the bowl and bread, the made a motion towards the mouth on her mask. ~Can you even understand?..~
She could also hear the commotion coming from the cell where Nix was caged, she continued to boast and rouse more attention then was warranted.

She could hear the bestial slave mentioning that she would kill Kenner and leave this place to travel back home. Peeshka took a small step back from Bloodsong's cell and turned towards Nix's position..~Why don't you get it in your furry little head.. This is your home.. for now. Until someone finds you necessary for work of more and you are bought.~

~If you aren't bought however then you are always welcome to stay here and be my Master's little guest, that or you can work at earning your freedom some other way.~
The cacophony of her voices spilling over the lips of her white ivory mask. Peeshka was not one to tell lies and she meant the fact that freedom was a possibility. However she did not mention that freedom could come in many unwanted methods.

Miyako laid on her bed, the food sitting on the tray on the floor. She heard that awful clacking sound again. That meant that crazy woman was coming back, the one with the mask. Miyako's body froze in fear as the sound got closer, the noise frightened her, more so than anything else she has seen or heard that awful clacking on the stones. She puts her hands over her ears wishing it would go away.
"Eat!" a voice calls in an angry and commanding voice. At first she thought it was meant for her; she bends over and picks up her tray ready to eat it. But then she realizes that she isn't talking to her. Miyako carefully sets the tray down trying to be as quiet as possible, sliding it in the shadows. Then she rolls back on her bed and curls up in a ball hopeful the woman won't pay any attention to her.

"I should have shut-up earlier." she whispers to herself, "I never should have said I hope you do. That was stupid." Miyako looks around the cell to see if the woman is coming, "What if she knows. I need to be a better girl. I need to be more careful." she thinks to herself.

Nix laughed at that. She did not care that there were other ways to earn her freedom, not if she would have to be a slave for it and follow orders from pathetic people. No, and this was not her home. Here home was somewhere else, back where she belonged, there where the sun was bright and the sky blue. But not here, in this godforsaken land. The gods she believed in had not left her, no, this was simply a challenge for her. A challenge to get out, kill Kenner, and leave to go back home.

Kenner

Kenner leaned in when Kaede asked about the other woman that brought him to the dinning hall and questioned where he got them. It was a decent enough question and he could understand why Kaede also asked about the fact that their accommodations had been prepared in such a way that it appeared that the masters would be staying.
He ran his finger along the rim of his wine glass as he listened trying to keep for losing contact on the situation, however when the moment they could see the slaves came he could have guessed that the conversation would come to that.

Taking another sip of his wine, Kenner placed his elbows on the edge of the table and braced the underside of his head while sliding his glass off to the side.. "Firstly.. Those woman are a special case of slave, they were born into this house and as such were raised in its walls. This gave them all the time and understanding to realize that this was just another way of living." he reaches out and takes a grape from the silver tray not far from his seat and places it in his mouth.
"As well for the rooms I can understand your question for that.. The fact that we require the master to be, to spend time within these walls is to get to know their chosen slave."

Kenner grabs another grape and rolls it between his fingers for a moment while still speaking.. "The reason for such was while I was studying under the former master he was handing off a rather fine and well trained white collar to a Lord Borough." Kenner eats the grape and shares a rather low apt stare across the table.
"The lord did not like the fact she was a Kitsune and even though he had already paid, had his bodyguard kill her on the spot.. right in the middle of the holding area."
He regathers his glass and swallows the whole thing before returning his gaze "That was eighty.. six years ago I believe." He goes back to running his finger along the top of his glass and begins to smile faintly as the remembers the first years of his leadership among Raven Loft.
"The rest of his house had a strong distaste for what we did to him afterwords.. but they were quickly dissuaded when Pesshka stepped in." a look of thought comes across his face for a moment "I think his remains are still locked in the lower cell blocks... not really sure since we renovated."

He stands and straightens his robe for a moment.. "As for seeing them, that is possible.. after they are fed we move them into the atrium for observation and that will allow them to get something familiar under their feet as well."

* * * *

Pesshka looks at Nix when she speaks and it visibly does accost a reaction from the warden, she stares at the werehyena in her cage and her fist tense up with a type of anger bubbling underneath. Her feelings are so strong that visible ribbed sections of mass could be seen writhing underneath sections of her suit, especially around the neck and ribs.
She takes one step towards the cell before catching herself and stopping, a long dejected sigh escaping her body.. ~Your right.. I am not beautiful, being born in a world where darkness reigns having form is not a real necessity.~

~But I would rather that then being born into a world where petty mob mentality and the idiosyncratic thought of self worth comes so easily to you mortals... or was that too much of a mouthful for you?~ She gives a slight tilt to her head when she speaks and then turns away from the caged animal. She once again returns her attention back to Bloodsong who was responding to her presence with more then hesitation.
This she could understand and with that knowledge came a sigh from her and she walked forward, stepping a long leg in between his bars and a sinewy distorted noise begins to rumble from her as she squeezes through into his cell. Finally with her full form inside, while having only a small problem of getting her mask inside which was solved by twisted her head to the side. This tall red leather clad woman stood in front of the growling wolf boy.. ~I suggest this time you listen and don't try anything stupid.~

Peeshka picked up the bowl and stepped within three feet of Bloodsong and held it out in front of her, she tipped it in his direction allowing him to get a better view and scent of it.
~Not bad... food is for you...~ She tried to keep herself in check as she was dealing with him, losing any control of her temper could end up being bad for the both of them.

While Kenner stands before the three masters in the dinning room he see's one of the woman from before return. It was Peng'E again and she was in somewhat of a hurry which was evident in the haste in her step. She came to her masters ear and spoke lightly as she informed him of what happened down stairs.
She spoke cleanly and clearly, but light enough to keep the information from all but Syntira's draconian ears.

He gave a slightly distasteful look of discomfort with each passing word and all he can hear is a term of internment that quickly needs to be repaid to someone. He gives Peng'E a slight pat on the side to interrupt her and slides his chair back under the edge of the table.
"Well.. it seems the day keeps getting better." He looks at Peng'E and leans into her ear with one clear whisper before looking back. "I must apologize but an issue has arisen down stairs.. I leave you all in her capable hands for the moment. When everyone is done, she will take you to the atrium for viewing of the new additions." With that Kenner made a bow and then a slightly hasted retreat from the room. It was easy to see that there was a part of him fuming under the collar even before he stepped out and now it was more evident then before as he jumped the banister.
That fall was short and he quickly regained his footing and moved down towards the main hall, only to see that Roldan had moved the young slave girl Genti into the main hall and two of the house maids had come to redress her in something more suitable.

He looked her over and turned his attention towards Roldan.."What of the men who brought her?.. are they waiting to get paid for such an intrusion." He spoke with a lightly burning haze in the back of his eyes.. "No.." Roldan answered "I paid them a small sum of silver and.. forced them on their way."

kenner gave a blank stare with a slight exaggeration to his expression.."Keep her here and get her fed as well.. do not remove the cuffs yet however." He turns on his heel and heads back up the stairs rather quickly "Because I feel we will be seeing them again.."

The march back up the stairs towards his quarters was fast and full of reason as he had a very plane method of doing things. The men who brought Genti to his walls were in blatant disregard of his house and required a lesson in etiquette. Once inside his room he made use of the privacy such a place affords, the back of his room had a small library in place but in there at the moment books were not his concern.
He stepped in the middle of the floor where a glyph sat on the floor, next to the glyph sat a table with a small crystal on a stand that he quickly took in hand and squeezed. The crystal began to glow faintly and pulse as he concentrated on one name that could fix his current dilemma.

"Daud.. I must speak with William.. it is a matter of some urgency."

Peeshka looked at Bloodsong as he chowed away on his meal and she pulled her hand back to her sides after the bowl was taken. She was glad that he was more reasonable then most despite his appearance, which made her look back at Nix and remember the fact that she would be more of a hassle then she's worth.

She takes another look at the others in the cells and speak towards the entire group.. ~I suggest you all eat up.. we're all going outside pretty soon and that means your all going to need your strength.~
She stepped back outside of Bloodsongs cell passing through the bars as she did before and moved to lean on the far wall as if she were waiting for something to happen.

Nix narrowed her eyes and snarled. She would tear the woman apart if it would dare to come into her cage. Nothing was going to tame her, and no one was going to succeed. She was free, she belonged free, not locked up in a cage like she was some animal. She did not belong here, and she would do everything to get out and be free again.

Nix sat down on the bed and stared at her food. She narrowed her eyes, then started eating. She was hungry, and everything she could get as luxury she would take, including food and a bed. After eating, she laid down on the bed and closed her eyes. She missed home, she missed home a lot. A few tears rolled down her muzzle and she covered her face with her hands, not believing that she was crying. But she was, and she was really sad.

Nix opened her eyes and grumbled angrily. She hated this place, this cage, this bed, the food she had eaten, the people walking around here. She hated everything about this place, yet she was unable to escape for now. For now, she was locked up in the stupid cage like she was some wild animal, which in some way, was kinda true.

Nix did have an animal inside her, and not just any. Hyenas are strong, with jaws able to crush bones. Hyenas do eat bones occasionally, might they have nothing else to eat. So Nix was strong herself, and it comes with great pride to be a creature that is strong. Yet here she was, here was Nix, feral hyena once again, resting her body on the bed, staring at the bars until she would hear or see Kenner.

The plan was rather simple. Just kill Kenner. Nix had killed Masters and trainers before, so why would he, or anyone, be so different and think she was tamable, trainable. No she was not!

''Kenner Kenner, hide in a corner.
Kenner Kenner, because in the morning,
I'll be coming,
I'll make meat and crack your skull,
And you'll be dull,
A lifeless body that has the name Kenner,
Will lay in my cage and my door will be open,
And I will return home.
So Kenner Kenner, hide in a corner, because in the morning I'll be coming.
And Dawn will colour the shade of blood,
And I will go home,
I will go home.''

Nix repeated this little song of her over and over again, whispering softly to herself.

Kenner

Kenner looked down at the girl as she spoke.. "Genti?.. That is quite nice." his train of thought was interrupted by the pounding boots of a guard approaching from the entrance. "Master Kenner.. its Mad Dog, he has the two men from before.." Kenner's face brightens at the moment and he turns to look at Roldan, giving him a small signal to take the girl away.. "Take her to the atrium and have the others moved there as well. I will be on my way shortly."

Roldan blinks his reaction to Kenner's words and reaches down to lift up the smaller woman, the surprise almost making her drop the bowl. With he in hand he barks his orders to the other guards and they in turn run about gathering their things for moving all the others along as well.

But for now Kenner looks on as Manhoon and his men are lead into Raven Loft from the weather outside, he is also rather ecstatic to see the two suspects in tow among Bills cattery. They moved weakly with a wobble in each step, this was enough to tell Kenner that they had been worked over pretty well to get them to cooperate or even so for fun.
With the approach of the group both me were brought to their knees by two of Bills men and Kenner walked up in front of them with his hands on his waist and his robe split as before.. "I'm glad I can always count on you William" It was obvious now that Kenner and Mad Dog had a history and even thought it was a small footnote of time that registered for Kenner he was glad that such a man existed as to be counted on.

He stared down on the two pathetic excuses of man as they made small scrupulous noises to dictate their feeling towards the moment of their peril. The man on the left with his lightly brown and muddied hair has already starting to make a mess of the moment. Apperantly he soiled himself during the ride back, or maybe it was the man handling that Bills men gave him either which could not be discerned now anyway. The left one however, the little blonde man was also causing his own problems.
His nose somehow got broke before he got inside and an audible drip could be heard in the silence of the moment. Red dots of life dropped from his broken face and started leaving a small round reflective circle on the marble below. Kenner Sneered for a moment realizing that it would be his maids to clean up such a mess. Both men raise their eyes in fright and freeze when they see Kenner, who in turn leans in a small amount with his smile.. "What nothing to say?..." The blonde man stammers a small bit when he tries to answer but ends up swallowing his right to speak with a large resounding gulp in his throat.

Kenner raises himself and grabs the two men by the hair lightly twisting their heads to change position so he can speak and announce his orders.. "Guards.. I want them in a set of pared stocks and locked in the lower ring for three weeks." He tips the men back as the lose balance on their knees and fall backwards, their head smacking the marble easily causing more physical pain. The two guards on the stairs were quick to grab the men by the ankles and drag them off back towards the door, only to turn a corner and soon disappear down a ridged stair case.
Both of the men making sobbing sounds all the way, it was evident that they didn't know what was coming but they still feared it all the same.
Kenner produced a small rag from inside of his robe and wiped his hands clean of the muck that the men left behind, only to drop the rag and step forward and finally approach Mad Dog and take his hand in a hearty shake.. "Ahh.. Mad Dog Manhoon. Just the man that I can count on to make my day instantly better." They release the grip and Kenner looks at Daud with a large Grin.. "Welcome back as well Daud."

Pen'g stood at the edge of the table and looked at the other Masters as they sat and finished their meals, Kaede was the first to act out with his small toast and while she was forbidden from drinking at the moment she gave him a slightly nod and smile. It was then that another entered from the adjacent door, it was another woman dressed in white. In fact she was dressed the same way as Peng'e, save for the fact that she had a rather large pony tail pulled in her hair with only the bangs sticking out. She looks at Peng'e and moves in to say something to her before moving back out of the room moving out of the main door. peng'e makes a slight face as she exist and returns her gaze back towards the group only when Eavia speaks up about wanting to see the slaves. She smiles and bows gesturing towards the rear door from where the other woman arrived and she walks out slowly so the others may have their time to rise and follow.

Meanwhile below Pesshka has stepped outside of Miyako's cell, she looked over at Nix as she spoke to herself. Either that or she was trying to get Pesshka's attention for some reason and the masked woman leaned in as she approached the werehyenas own container.
She presses her self against the bars as she tilts her head to hear the distant noise of boots approaching and turns back toward Nix. ~Well.. if you be a good girl and follow her lead.. then you will get your chance.~

Nix looked at Peshhka and frowned slightly. She was curious as to what would happen outside, and if she should behave then, or make a big mess and struggle as much as she could. Maybe, just maybe, she should behave for once in the hope someone would set her free if she did so. But she didn't think so. And why would they?

To them, Nix was nothing more but another slave. She had been fighting her faith, but if she would go home, she would have no family to return to, and there were no tribes she knew would take her in. Her mate was gone, and so too the hope to rebuild the Werehyena's population. If she would return home, Nix would be all alone. And what could she do then? Hope random werehyenas would come and join her. No, she did not think that would happen.

So, once Nix was free, she had no where to go. She would be all alone, and have no hope for a new future. She would have no where to go, and probably end up in the gutter. She had lost everything she ever had, and was all alone.

Nix looked at the ground of the cell, feeling lost and depressed. Her pride was swept off of her face like a tsunami would sweep the houses of the land. And she was alone. Nix sighed and felt tears sting her eyes. She laid down on the bed and curled up, wanting to die at this very moment.

Kenner

With the greetings done between Mad Dog and Kenner it is taken upon the business men to converse more as they walk for a while through the master hall.
Kenner is starting to understand that this day must have been some sort of test to get under his skin, however Williams presence is making everything seem much better as the time drew on.. "I see Manhoon."
"If you are looking for some new.. blood as you so lovingly put it, I may be able to facilitate."
He beckoned Mad Dog on and offered the extension to Daud as well and so the men began to walk out of the hall. As they left the guards who escorted the two men down below returned and continued with their own duties of standing guard at the stairs.

As the moved on it was easy to tell for Mad Dog that most of Raven Loft's insides had been renovated since he left with Daud in his keeping. Marble lined most of the floor and high archways gave the halls a towering appearance. Seeing that it was only barely after mid day many of the houses patrons were moving about to get back and forth between their respective stations. The sounds of the whole body that was this place echoed on around them while their foot steps were easily drowned out by the rest of such immense movement.

Kenner kept speaking to enhance the conversation between him and Mad Dog. "I do have an idea of what you could be looking for.. someone well enough for your new enterprise. From what I hear that new club will be ready for full operation soon." He dipped his head slightly as several woman passed by in sundresses, each with an assertive bounce in their step and it could be seen why. A woman was walking behind them who cast assertion in her face and dominance in her stride. It was her that was driving the group on to whatever activity they intended to be at next.
She gave Kenner a firm but respectful nod as she passed him and his two friends.
With their passing Kenner continued.."As of now all of my new additions that are not taken.. are rather bare."

"I do however have some unique new treats for our trainers at least."

As they kept moving in their purpose the three passed into a large rotunda of passageways with several stairways leading down into and away from it. This was the causeway, and it was the only part of Raven Loft that truly remained untouched from the renovations. Peng'E was leading the other masters into the rotunda at the same time and she could see Kenner ahead of the group. With a slight pause in her step the group was halted before fully surpassing Kenner's, she gave a slightly bow towards the masters accompanying her before Kenner himself greeted them.. "Ah yes.. its good to see you all here now, that is fine now Peng'E you can head back to mistress Thresh now." The woman in white bows once again flashing a slight smile as she heads back up the stairs from where the group came.

Kenner beckoned them onward and lead them further eastward into the keep and as he lead them on the hall began to become wider and taller, with a great vast light pouring in from the exit ahead. Each step lead them closer and as they walked the sounds of nature could be heard coming through the opening as well.
When the group broke the threshold it became clear to them what the name atrium meant.
It was a vast opening within the bowels of Raven Loft it had the makings of a massive gladiatorial arena, but instead of sand within the base of this giant ring there was a field. Trees and tall grass and a sizable lake in the center and all that many creatures could wish for. Kenner walks the group out onto the balcony of a large slope overlooking the atrium and presents it to them all. "Welcome to the atrium, a crowning example of design if ever there was one. As you look around you there is nature for all to see and if you cast your eyes above even the sun itself is part of Raven Loft."

He was not off when he said this, for when an eye was cast upwards a circular inverted dome could be seen dominating the roof of the atrium. It shined with a deep warm light that gave life as easily as the sun itself would do in mid summer.
"For all those slaves who want to see the world as they left it and come back to nature, however it is still safe to let them roam free here. There is no chance of escape even for those with the power of flight."

* * * *

Peeshka looked back at Nix as a look passed on her face that the masked warden would not have thought possible for the shape shifter to show. She tilted her head to the side as guards with restraining implements arrived in droves, each one in full dress and waiting with baited breath for Pesshka's words.
She cast her gaze towards them and spoke.. ~Alright pair up and get to your appointed cells..~ She looked up to see that behind several of them men were two guards with Genti in arm, they did little to hamper her movement and instead lent an arm to help support her weight for her as they helped her walk. The men & woman got to work as Pesshka walked closer to see Genti for herself. Stopping only a few feet away she stared for a few seconds before slowly leaning in, her expressionless mask looking on and red leather bindings creaking as she inched forward. ~I see.. a new one comes again unscheduled.~
"The master also wants her moved into the atrium with the others.." The guard holding her bowl in his right hand spoke in order to clarify. Peeshka only returned a twitch of her head in his direction before looking back at Genti before nodding.

Everyone was thus gathered up from their cells.
Awoken from slumber or lead out from their positions, some had to be restrained in order to keep the guards peace of mind. The cause to being marked with a black collar saw many of those slaves being treated as such. However the guards were gentle as they could be and courteous in their work, the master would not want to see them damaged what he had just come into possession of within the last hours.
It was then that the group of slaves, was lead towards their destination of the atrium. However they did not share the use of the upper walkways like the masters and more privileged slaves were used to. The area they walked was darker and more somber with wider halls and such open spaces as to maneuver large groups of bodies. This was the main way for the guards to transfer a mass of slaves from one point in Raven Loft to the other and while the atmosphere of this lower area was rather dim.
It still bore a fresh air and lenient energy about it.

The only exception to the move was Nitha, she was left within her cell. The guards did not have the material to move her nor the manpower at the moment and while Kenner with his gifts could transport easily, they would need several men to move her even with a dolly.

Within several minutes the group was lead through a causeway of their own and this one itself lead into the grassy area within the atrium. As the guards lead the slaves in one after the other was released from their bindings and left to stand within the light of the atrium's dome. Those with less tendencies to strike were released first and those with black collars were let go last before the guards passed through the cause way again and as the last stepped through a large gate was swung closed behind to bar an exit.

Pesshka stayed behind with Nitha looking into her cell..~I must say that it is good to see one of your kind again.. it has been some time since one with blood like yours has passed through these walls.~
