Zero Tribal's Story

The great Phoenix and the battered assassin Luna was escorted inside the entrance of the great halls by the guards of Enit's kingdom. Upset at the sight of their severely wounded elven king, the guards rushed to fetch a litter and all the healers of the halls. Two guards rushed to find the well spoken of healer Rain. Luna made sure to keep Enit on the bird's back, surrounded by healing feathers to keep the elf barely alive- The metal had made the elf hot with fever and blood kept running down from his thighs and ankles as well as arms and hands. Even though the sharp metal had been removed from him, the effects was so severe that the usual fast healing elf would bleed to death if not quickly tended to. Across his torso was torn and bloody clothes above the torn and burnt skin. It was easier to breath now that the metal claw around the elf's throat was gone, but burnt marks and bloody wounds covered the delicate skin, stinging him with pain by every move. Pheon moved uneasily and felt his life companion's misery, squawking along with Enit's few moan's in agony.

(I made it like this so Baby Panda could play the rescuing scene with me later, but for now I just made them return so you others can join in. As planned: Rain will show up to heal Enit. I'm not sure how to make the dragon and the fox return, any ideas? --- And what is Zero doing? : 3 ? We've been making some history between them, maybe you can add that to the character history if you haven't done that already, Zero. - You ok, guys?)

Snow Ball moved quickly and with little effort over the forest, she twitched an ear as she felt Rain grasp tighter at her fur. The now large and strong fox gave a loud yelp to get Rain's attention. Rain only shook her head and looked over the horizon.

"Sorry, Snow Ball," Rain said in a low voice, "I haven't felt this in a long time... like there is something I need to do." Snow Ball only yipped as she looked down and flew to the castle. Rain hopped from the fox's back as she morphed back into a small fox. Rain lifted her nose and realized what it was. Rushing into the castle she saw Enit laying in pain bleeding from large gashes and scars that seemed to fester all over his body. "Enit!" Rain shouted as she ran into the room, the smell of blood filling her nose, she felt as if this had happened before, and she felt the same fear. Rushing to him she let her body transform into her original state to see better.

As she reached him she looked over his weakened state and frowned. "Looks like you got hit with metal..." Rain whistled for Snow Ball to grab her medicine bag. As Snow Ball approached, Rain grabbed a single bottle from her bag, it had some scribbled words on it that said "If Enit is Injured by Metal, Keep Safe!" Rain let the thick gel fall into her hand as she shouted for the others to removed the bloody clothing, there was still a lot for her to do before the foul paste was read to be applied. "Enit... are you okay?"

Zero walked around the castle enjoying the beautiful art that hung on the walls. He turned around quickly as he saw two guards rush by. "What's the hurry?" Zero asked them quizzically. The first guard turned around quickly. "The king is hurt and we must find the healer Rain." he said as he turned back around and rushed off again. Zero's eyes went wide for a second as he ran through the halls following the scent of the king. "My lord, who did this?" Zero said with a sense of worry in his voice. He looked away wishing not to see the blood that was there.

Rain had finished adding mint leaves, camillyne and ballenus to the wounds and began to liberally rub the thick aloe gel deep into his cuts, the feeling of the cooling gel against her hands made her feel assured that the healing would come soon. The next step was to make that nasty slogging swill that she often used to help dull pain and slow infection. The mixture was already crushed and in another glass jar that she quickly dumped into a bowl.

"Quickly!" Rain shouted with a stern voice, "Add warm water to this and have Enit drink it!" Rain sighed, hoping her friend would heal soon. "There was an awful lot of blood loss... Why didn't you just let me come with you?!" Rain whispered, her feelings welling up inside until a small tear filled her eye.

Before either Rain or Zero had reached the dying king, Luna had been escorted by some guards to the healing houses. When Zero arrived, Pheon was complaining loudly for Rain to come. It made the guards speed up with the latter to carry Enit to his personal healing house. The elven king was in no condition to speak, only ragged breaths hot with fever.

The deluded elven king tried, but was too weak to protest against his removal of clothes, and could only answer his personal healer by ragged breaths and groans of agony as the foul metal poisoned his body. The guards would soon return with the latter to carry Enit to his personal house of healing, where he had not stayed for millenniums.

(In this post I have tried to entwine the tiny mess, so don't feel too overrun, Zero. Try the best you can to make Zero fit into this.)
