Imageβ™” Full Name β™”: Chiyo Hanekawa

β™” Nicknames/Titles β™”: Chi ; You ; Kawa | Landlady

β™” Age β™”: 19

β™” Gender β™”: Female

β™” Romantic Interest β™”: None Currently

β™” Sexuality β™”: Heterosexual

β™” Nationality β™”: 100% Japanese

β™” Face Claim β™”: (With Red Hair) Uzumaki Kushina | Naruto || (With Pink Hair) Momoi Satsuki | Kuroko no Basket

Imageβ™” Physical Description/Clothing Preference β™”: Chiyo has a very thin and mature figure. She is growing to be an adult, which explains her build, just that any other average young girl would be having as proceeding to adult hood, but it incredibly thin. She's not exactly anorexic, and she eats a logical amount of food, but she never seems to gain or lose any more weight than 113 lbs. She stands at the height of 5 feet and 6 inches, being a pretty good height for someone like her, though she says she wants to grow a little taller.

Clothing isn't a big thing to Chiyo. She isn't a very big fashion freak, and often just likes to wear anything that looks decent and is incredibly comfortable. Often after her school - college - she'll just wear her teacher-looking clothes and stay in that all day since she has no care since it looks nice and feels comfortable. Once she wears something in the morning, you'll never see her wear anything different until night. While she may be japanese and descending from a family of Samurai, she only wears things like kimonos and yukatas during summer.

β™” Birthmark/Piercing/Tattoo/Scar/Noticeable Features β™”: Chiyo has nearly flawless skin. She has no tattoos, and has no interest in getting any, although they are pleasant to look at. The piercings she got years ago closed up, so she no longer wears earrings, and the only birthmark she has is a burn looking spread on the back of her neck. Perhaps the most noticeable feature of hers is her green and orange eyes. That, or its her lovely red hair. Despite being completely japanese, her hair ended up to be a strange color from the rest of her family.

β™” Personality β™”: Chiyo honestly is very honest, maternal, but a kind person at heart. Firstly, she's very straightforward. Chiyo is someone who won't give you the answer you'd like, but will answer with the truth, nevertheless. Her honesty tends to make people angry because of her responses, but she'd rather tell a harsh truth rather than a fairy tail lie.

She's also quite motherly. Being the owner of the Hanekawa household and the last Hanekawa that lives in the house, she feels responsible for the many people who stay with her in such a large mansion. She has to act like the mother that rules the house, or there'll be no organization. She can seem a little scary if someone doesn't put their clothes away or gets home too late.

But mostly, behind these honest sayings and maternal calls, Chiyo is a very good natured and a caring girl. She's always attentive to the others in the house and takes care of them. Since her family has moved on and away, they are her family now, and she takes good care of them like the older sibling. She'd do anything for them really.

β™” Secrets β™”:
Ο‘ While Chiyo is afraid of heights and falling from heights, she wonders and dreams of flying like a bird in the sky over Yokohama, even if it were just for a few minutes.

Ο‘ Chiyo doesn't show it too often, but she is incredibly protective of her current "family." She'd rather break a bone rather than for any of them to get hurt and would put herself before any single one of them.

Ο‘ Even though Chiyo loves her current family, she misses her mother, father, and older sister, who all are in America, with all her heart and still feels hints of loneliness without her blood family with her at the house.

Imageβ™”Bio β™”: Chiyo grew up amongst the other Hanekawa's and their large and spread out family. It was always loud, crowded, but very cheerful and festive. She got along with nearly everyone, and back then, she was much more shy and quiet than she is now.

But most of that changed when the other members of her home began to leave. This all happened just after the Tokyo Olympics. They all had somehow gathered enough money and moved away from the main and large olden styled japanese mansion. Some left for other players in Yokohama, some left outside Japan, and others travelled nearly half the world to America. Never the less, it definitely left Chiyo and her mother and father, along with her two younger brothers and one older sister, alone. The only one outside this circle was Chiyo's grandmother and her second cousin and his family.

Things were quite fine, even without the company. Its just that all the festivity and happiness died down and it was more like silence that filled the whole house. Perhaps the only person who brought the remainders of the family together was Chiyo's beloved grandmother, who she loved the most compared to the other adults. She's spend time with her, learning her ways and talking to her and taking care of her. Her grandmother, she felt, was all she had left.

But then that privilege was also taken away when her grandmother suddenly passed without anything knowing until the day afterwards. Chiyo nearly broke down at the funeral and things were horrible for her from that point on. But perhaps that's where her new story began. Despite her actual family moving out, she still had her second cousin, and a huge house that was still being paid off by their parents and the rest of the family, wherever their location was.

That's when she invited other people to stay, and to keep them from moving away, she does her best to hold their interest and give them affection, almost like a mother would do with a child.

β™” Other β™”:
✿ Chiyo is often seen doing laundry around the house, making a meal, and when she's not working, often taking a nap on the couch or socializing with someone else in the house. She's hardly got much free time on her hands though, but doesn't mind the loss with all the people she has around her.

So begins...

Chiyo was wide awake in the morning as always. Perhaps it was her duty to wake up that early as the landlady of such a giant house that was so vast and had so many people already living in it. Not saying she didn't like the company, but it was a little overwhelming at certain points, "Ah well..." She muttered to herself.

She had already been setting up breakfast for the many members of the household on the second floor of the house. No one had seemed to be up at 7:00 in the morning on that warm Saturday morning, and despite how 'early' it really was, Chiyo thought it was insane for so many people to sleep in for so long, "Wake up!" She called up to those who were still sleeping up stairs, "Time for breakfast!" She shouted.

There was the sound of a bicycle outside the house. She turned off the stove after making the plate of fish, eggs, and rice, and ran outside to see a newspaper on the doorstep. Chiyo, unlike most people, actually found some newspapers a bit interesting and often read them in some of her spare time, but instead of reading it thoroughly, she put it on the countertop and went straight to the laundry. A landlady of such a huge house did have a lot of things to do after all.

"Up!" She told those on the second floor again, "The food's going to get cold!" She called and proceeded to hanging the wet laundry outside on the lines she had already set up in advanced the day before. Chiyo was just lucky the heavy winds didn't knock it off. One of the windows on the second floor, though she didn't exactly know who's, was open and so she said from outside, "I'll be going up there myself if no one gets down in 60 seconds exactly."

Chiyo wasn't someone to joke about things like that, and literally began to count in her head, '59.....58....' If they didn't make it down by then, or at least one person... well... that was always left a mystery since she always chose different punishments for waking up late; one day it'd be no lunch, other days it'd be doing the laundry for her, and sometimes it'd be to go get some groceries for her instead. It was only on lucky days that she let them slip by.

"Don't you dare show your faces to me again, assholes!" Mako yelled at a group of teenagers, older than her, who immediately ran away with bruises on their faces and arms. Mako was someone to fear, but also someone to look up to, in some way, "Hey, you alright, kid?" She asked, turning around and facing a little boy quite a bit younger than her.

"Fine..." He mumbled and began to walk away, a huge bruise on his cheek that he rubbed.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on." Mako grabbed his wrist and held steady ground so he couldn't run away. Even if she tried, its not as if she couldn't out run a 10 year old kid, "Where's your parents? You're up way too early in the morning to be walking around the neighborhood alone."

"Shut up!" The kid lashed out, "It's already 7:00, idiot!" He said. It almost looked like he was going to cry.

Mako let go of his wrist, though he didn't run away and sighed, running her hand through her black hair with the lovely red dyed strips, "I never remembered kids to be so frustrating..." She muttered, "Well, whether you like it or not, I'm taking you back home. What's your adress, huh? You owe me at least that for saving your ass back there."

The kid scoffed, but in a way as if he was beaten and finally gave in. It took her nearly half an hour to get to the kids house, especially since she had to carry him all the way there since he injured his ankle. His mom took him and nearly lectured him in front of Mako. Nevertheless, she was thanked, even though she was quite embarrassed about it herself, and was excused. Mako didn't need any more than that, and went off back onto her way to the house, "Wonder if the landlady's gonna lecture me again..." She thought aloud as she headed back.

Shiori wasn't in the house at the moment either, and he certainly wasn't in his room. He hadn't been in his room for... two days, was it? Anyway, where he was was on the way home from the local library, where he had been to check out a few books on Photorealism for his class, which admittedly there hadn't been much of, but he'd picked up the two books they'd had.

He may have also glanced through the newspaper records while he was there, just checking for anything important. He hadn't found anything new though.

As Shiori began opening the front door, he heard the landlady up the stairs. "I'll be going up there myself if no one gets down in 60 seconds exactly." Setting his books down on an endtable and making sure to close the door, he made his way to the kitchen, where he assumed he'd find Chiyo. As luck would have it, he poked his head around the doorway just as the sixty seconds expired. "Anything I can help you with, miss?

Nemui was sleeping in one of the several trees outside of the Hanekawa residence, her arms dangling from the branch that she chose to perch upon in attempt to sleep in longer than she'd be allowed by Chiyo if she had chosen to sleep indoors. She would sometimes wake up earlier than Chiyo so she wouldn't get woken up, trying to beat the system occasionally. She'd pick a different tree now and then, hoping she'd take a while in finding her new hiding spot. As she slept, Nemui's chest rose and fell softly, until a bird landed on her head nestling in her hair. Unfortunately the motion caused the pink haired girl to stir. As she woke, her eyes slowly fluttered to life, "Oi.. What gives..?" She yawned, only keeping one eye open as she attempted to peer up at the bird perched on top of her head,

"Shoo.." she mumbled, not appreciating the bird's antics. Nemui swatted the bird away lazily before she adjusted herself, attempting to go back to sleep. She was hungry, but she just didn't have the motivation and energy to move herself from the tree and into the kitchen. Way too much work for food.. No thanks..

As the sky got brighter she whined out in discontent, thankful that she'd chosen to lay face down. God hates me.. The sun was already irritating her, if she'd awoken face up she doubted she'd ever get back to sleep. I was having a good dream too.. She thought to herself, trying to continue her peaceful siesta. Though she could hear Chiyo from where she was, it was a little distracting to say the least.. Man.. This stinks..

Saiya whined as she heard Chiyo's voice ring into her room. She threw her covers over her head with a huff. She'd stayed up all night reading, and now she was utterly tired. I don't even eat breakfast.. She thought to herself bitterly, but her stomach growled in protest.

Oh shut up you.. always growling and trying to make me the size of a luxury cruise ship.. She got up, deciding not to challenge Chiyo so early. I guess I can at least get up and grab a cup of coffee before she storms in here.. She settled in her mind, grabbing her hoodie and throwing over her tank top. She ran her fingers over the comfy material before slinging her door open and trudging downstairs shortly after the woman's countdown ceased. What does she think we are? Five year olds? We aren't afraid of what comes after three..

"Yeah, yeah.. I'm up.." she rolled her eyes, sitting down at the table rubbing her eyes as she mumbled incoherent words to herself. Half lucky no one could make out what she was really saying. It more than likely consisted of several unheard profanities. Her brown eyes scanned the room, frowning to herself. Great, I'm the only one up with the shrink (Shiori) and the charity woman (Chiyo).. Yippee.. She thought sarcastically, "Did anyone start the coffee?? Or should I?" She finally asked, rolling her eyes and throwing her hands up in the air to accompany her bad morning attitude. Saiya was quite a handful without her caffeine in the morning. It is way too early for these pointless shenanigans.. Where do they get their cheerful good moods from??

The sun slowly rose up from the horizon. The ray shone onto everything, taking its chances in the holes made by nature. Shadows slowly form at every turn, creating a beautiful image of sunrise. Small critters awake from their slumber, enjoying at the sight of Mother Nature's beauty. Facing the sun is a big mansion. A mansion where a great family of Samurais once lived.

Behind the mansion is a small little lawn, where some of the many miracles of Mother Nature resides. In that lawn, a boy declared his favorite place out of the entire mansion. "Oh, found you." Yuki stared at the sight of a beautiful purple butterfly resting on one of the leaves of a small flower. Without knowing, Yuki can spend his entire day, looking at the little creature. But, as every insects is busy with their own lives, the small butterfly flapped its wings and flew, further and further away from the mansion. "See ya." He mumbled softly, knowing well that he could had disturbed the residences of the mansion if he spoke out loud.

Yes, in this big mansion, there lived quite a few amount of people. The landlady, Chiyo Hanekawa, rightful owner of this building and also a childhood friend of Yuki. They had been friends for as long as he could remember, and in his every memory, he can always see Chiyo with him. He was missing a few pieces of his memories somewhere along his life, but he didn't cared. "It's not like it'll be important since I forget them so easily." Yet again he mumbled, talking to himself.

Yuki had lost track of time, but he had only realized that it was already 7 in the morning. Chiyo was already calling for the others to wake and have their breakfast. He started walking around the lawn and found the girl doing the laundry. "I'll be going up there myself if no one gets down in 60 seconds exactly." Said the girl while putting up wet clothes on the lines. He decided to announce his presence, but then came Shiori Maki, the matured college tutor who happened to live in this house as well.

"Anything I can help you with, miss?" Yuki heard the boy said, as politely as he could. Sometimes Yuki wonders why is the boy so young and slender. The first time he met him, he even thought he was a girl! Yuki decided to interrupt the conversation. "I doubt she needs it. She'll probably get those who woke up late to do her chores. Like usual," He said, sarcastically. "Yo." He said, raising his hand.
