Moon Bae

Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring...Ring!

Bae was thrown out of his creative dreams and into reality as his hand flew out, hitting the blasted alarm clock and shut it down. I swear, I'm gonna take the plug out one of these days... He fell back onto his overly fluffy, white pillow and looked up at his ceiling. "Why?...That was a good dream..." He turned to his side, looking at the picture on his nightstand. "Eomma...I miss you so much." He had been having the same dream for the past week now. He was running in the forest, laughing and playing with a beautiful woman, who was singing a lullaby. He knew it was his mother...who else could look and sing so good? He continued to look at the picture sadly until he took a glance to his clock. "What?! Seven?! I have forty minutes to get ready!"

The small fifteen year old went into his bathroom, rushing his pajamas off, taking a quick shower, and putting on his school uniform. He brushed his teeth, drying his hair, straightening it, and fixing his uniform a bit. It reminded him of a girl getting ready for school. He was like his dear mother in many ways, even how she got up in the morning. When he got out of the bathroom, he checked the time again. "Seven twenty? Okay, I have twenty more minutes left..."

He ran out of his bedroom and down the stairs into the kitchen, he at least needed something to eat so he could function at school. As the toast popped out of the toaster, he hurried the butter on it, but then remembered something very VERY important.

"The posters?! Oh my god! How can I forget those!" He hurried to his living room, a medium size pile of multicolored posters. They looked strangely like the Battle of the Bands posters. He hurried them into his massager bag, took his toast into his mouth, and ran out the door. He made it to school five minutes before the bell. That was pretty good for a petite boy like him who hated sports.

After his classes, he ran to his favorite tree, a weeping willow that no one usually sat by. The leafs covered a big space of the courtyard, just a bit, but it was big enough to wait for participates. He had been passing out, stapling, and taping up posters around the school for the past week. Ever since he saw those Battle of the Bands posters, he wanted to make a band. He wanted to become as famous as his mother was, but the thing was: no one wanted to join. Unless they wanted to, but wanted to see poor Bae being depressed. Why pick on me? He was the new kid. The transfers kid from another country. He hoped that today would be much better than the other days, though the thoughts were very tiny. As he waiting for about five minutes, he sighed and went under the leaves to get his bag. He didn't want to waste his pathetic life for people he knew wouldn't show up.

Siwon Sujo

"Oh and then the guy actually had the nerve too grab the noodles and ran!" a spikey haired boy with a jolting forehead spoke causing amused laughter to erupt out of the group of seven boys.
Each of them were dressed in a fine white blazor and trousers, the blazor hiding a clean black shirt underneath though with the summers heat casting down from from suns idle place in the sky they left their blazor's open revealing the shirts.
Sujo laughed along with his friends at the comment from one of them as he pulled a hand through his short black hair feeling the heat begin to pry at him however the sweet gentle breeze cooled him down smoothly as they strolled along a path.

He joined in the conversation vibrantly with his friends, Sujo was considered a popular person at school by others, though not by himself, like all things involving himself he couldn't see past what was infront of his eyes, always oblivious to the obvious.
He was unconciously passing a round orange ball with black patterning from hand to hand as they walked, a basket ball to be precise, at high school Sujo was on the basketball team, he was proud to say he was pretty good without being boastful about it.
"Hey wanna round?" the spikey haired friend smiled catching Sujo by surprise as he hit down on the ball between the motion of him passing it from hand to hand causing him to loose control of it as the spikey kid now took possesion drippling it just ahead of the group.
"Your on!" a friend with a ponytail grinned donning his white blazor to let it sit on the floor along with his book bag as he ran after spikey.
Sujo could only sigh shaking his head with a knowing upturn of his lips as he laughed at the pair, the rest of the group also donning their things to the side of the path to join in as they approached an open tarmac turf.
"Only if I'm on Katsu's team, you know how bad Chiro is" he slapped the spikey haired kid on the back as he walked past winking as Chiro scowled but saw the good humour in it all as the ponytail kid laughed. "I wouldn't have it any other way" Katsu said, his expresion was devilish as sudden all six of the boys began to intertwine in a rough, fun, game of basketball, the seventh acting as ref.

After some time Sujo found himself sweating so loosened the tight collar of his shirt with a free hand as suddenly Chiro attempted to 'pass' the ball but ended up throwing it way to high and over practically everyone's heads smashing down near the leaves of some willow tree that dangled nearby. "Chirooooo" They all complained at him making Chiro hesitate and rub the back of his head shrugging his shoulders as though nothing was wrong.
Sujo rubbed his forehead, he liked that ball "I'll get it" he stated turning to leave getting a call of thanks from them all.

As he climbed a slight hill of green grass he raised his arm over his head lifting a canopy of the willows dangling leaves the sun pouring in from behind him into the shadow texture under the tree. Looking from side to side he logically thought about searching for his basketball, however he came across a boy his back turned to him picking up a bag instead. He looked a little younger than Sujo and addressing his school uniform it confirmed it, each year grade got a different uniform at this school.

Sujo smiled the top three buttons of his own school uniforms' black shirt undone his hair sticking to his face a little as his eyes changed to that dazzling green in the bright sunlight instead of the comforting mud brown like hazel iris' do. "Hi, sorry to disturb you but have you seen a basketball around? One of my friends sorta threw it over here by mistake" he hesitantly dropped his arm releasing the willow's leaves stepping under the relaxing shade of the tree.

Moon Bae

"Hi, sorry to disturb you but have you seen a basketball around? One of my friends sorta threw it over here by mistake"

Bae looked up with seldom chocolate brown eyes at the stranger spoke to him. Probably another bully... As he looked up, he didn't see a bully. He saw a very, I mean very, hot guy. The boy swallowed a lump in his throat and blushed noticeably. "I-I-I, uh, y-yeah..." A basketball did roll over to his spot, but he sort of...well. He stood up suddenly. "I'm sorry I kind of kicked it over there and I was going to go get it, but it's in bully territory, so yeah..." He surprised himself. He has never talked so fast before, or even talk at all, to someone. He sheepishly smiled and rubbed the back of his head.

He backed up a bit, but tripped over the pile of his left over posters, making them fly everywhere (not really everywhere, just around him and Sujo). "Oh no! I'm sorry again." He got up, bowed, and then started to pick up the mess he made. He was really being a scatterbrain at the moment. How was a fifteen year old supposed to act when there was testing this week, wanting to start a band, and making songs? It was very hard.

Arime

Arime was an early riser- she had to admit it was partially because it did take awhile to keep up a lolita look. She was a night owl too. In truth, she never really slept. She had been up since six o clock, but had gotten distracted. Who wasn't distracted by kittens? a few had wandered into her backyard by mistake, and Arime took it upon herself to help them. She had gotten them milk, and cleaned their fur. She hadn't really thought about rabies- she just liked cute fuzzy thing- with the exception of rabbits, of course.

Arime walked inside, and checked the clock. it was seven forty. Oh bloody, I'm going to be late again! she thought, annoyed. But she didn't run. she was npt athletic, and rnning was not her thing. she walked. On her way, she passed a pair of girls fighting over- well, she wasn't sure what.
"Get a life." she said, snidely. She hurried her pace, and headed for the school building.

After classes, she went to the courtyard, and a pair of boys, troubling over piles of paper. She saw a basket ball, and picked it up, the dribbled it over to where the two were, quite poorly, then caught it. She looked at the posters. "looking to form yourself a little boyband, huh?" she said, sarcastic. she had seen similar posters around a few years ago, but had not been aloud to join. a little 'no girls' policy. And she was very little if not at least a bit of a feminist.

Siwon Sujo

Sujo noticed the younger boy stumble a little with his words as he blushed, his face was one of those cute types he noted. "I-I-I, uh, y-yeah..." A basketball did roll over to his spot, but he sort of...well." Sujo figured the boy had gone red because of the summers heat, no other reason for it. Maybe he should get him some water?
Suddenly the boy stood up his black hair catching the light "I'm sorry I kind of kicked it over there and I was going to go get it, but it's in bully territory, so yeah..."
His first thought was to sigh, great now he had to go and try find it, then something else made him frown "Bully territory? What do you-" he stopped short seeing the kid backing up nearing a pile of paper "Hey watch out!"
However Sujo was too late as he winced seeing the kid fall over papers flying around them at the disturbance of their neat order, "Oh no! I'm sorry again." He surprised Sujo with a bow making him smile as he strolled over to some of the papers pulling up the sleeves of his shirt so they stayed past his elbows kneeling to the floor, "don't worry about, we all make silly mistakes" he sort of laughed feeling the kid was kinda cute in personality too "So whats your name? You can call me Siwon" he introduced himself in the japanese way, with the last name rather than first.
After all first names were only used by those close to an individual, not all japanese people followed the custom but Sujo did. "I haven't seen you around before, are you new?" he asked casually picking up the papers.

As he picked up a number of the papers what was on them took his interest, a band add? He was sure he had seen these over the school or something, he couldn't be certain since he never paid enough attention, his mind filled with basketball practice and work. There was a game coming up soon. "forming a-" he was about to ask about it when suddenly a girls voice echoed around the leaves of the willow which rustled in the wind.
"looking to form yourself a little boyband, huh?" Sujo looked up to see non other than his basket ball in her hands as she pretty much stole the words from his mouth. He couldn't be sure but his eyes must have been surprised, it was rare he saw a girl so openly dress in lolita, epesically at school aswell. He wondered what her reasons were for not wearing uniform.

Pushing that aside he straightened out the papers he had picked up around him and stood up, "I think he is" he waved the papers smiling "Did you get that basket ball in the courtyard over there?" he nodded in the direction the boy had said he kicked it "If you did I think its mine, I'd be grateful if I could have it back please"
That was his favourite basket ball, it had been with him for about three years, of course it wasn't as good as his signed one though that had its own place on the shelf at home.

Arime


Arime fought back a little sneer at the surprise in the boy's eyes as he saw her. She was proud to show off her inner flair, and so many people were confused by it. That, of course, was not her problem. She had a free spirit, and the lace in her outfit gave it room to fly. Of course, she never wore a uniform to school- they were deceptively lax about uniforms- the teachers did not even begin to care. Besides, she was actually pretty close with all of her teachers, so she had little to worry about.

"Well, if you can't find yourself a drummer, and end up needing to stoop to the level of asking a girl- I'm probably in the library during school." she said, with a mocking tone. She assumed that the boy was sexist. She often assumed this. It was a fault she was well aware of, but she embraced it in any case. She grabbed a flier from the boys hand. She looked at it for a bit- it did not imply that girls weren't aloud. That was a good sign. Despite her assumption- she still hoped it was not so. She handed the boy the basketball, absently, still looking at the flier. A bit late, she added "here, trade'ya."

Moon Bae

Bae continued to stare at the older male, dazed in awe. He was everything he pretty much wanted to be. Athletic and manly unlike his girlish hips and skinny body. He sighed to himself, forgetting where he was at the moment. He cleared his throat before he spoke. "Oh, Siwon? Are you Korean too?" It made him hapy to know he wasn't the only Korean at this school. "My name's Moon Bae...First name Bae. And yes, I'm new. I came here last week." He smiled sheepishly and went to shake his hand, but a girl voice made him jump.

"Looking to form yourself a little boyband, huh?"

"Huh? Oh!" He looked at one of his posters and hurriedly gave her one. "I'm just really looking for people to join my band." He looked over the girl's attire, which he found oddly cute and attractive. "I don't care who joins...As long as they're good at playing whatever they're playing." He gave a much more confident smile to the girl, but the smile fell. "But understand if you don't want to join..."

Arime

Arime smiled broadly as the boy proclaimed his non-gender bias. she rocked back on her heels and hugged the poster to her chest, smiling like a three year old. "really? you mean it?" she asked, energetically. "I would like- I mean love, to play the drums!" she said, proudly. It wasn't really phrased as a question. She dropped the fliers and fished about in her bag for a folder. when she found it, she handed it too him. "I was part of a band awhile back... This is pretty much the extent of my playing. If it helps you....."she said sheepishly. It probably wasn't the best way to judge the ability to play the drums. She snatched it back, embarrassed. She had to admit that none of the music in that folder was any of the drum music- just the lyrics, guitar, bass and.... well, flute. it was not what you would call a normal band. her three friends had all moved to Korea, Switzerland, and america, respectively. she still exchanged letters with them weekly though.
"let me put it this way- I bet I can play drums better than you average Jane. A lot better.
that was when two giggling redheaded girls entered the courtyard, entirely disregarding everyone else.

Chiyu
Chiyu and her sister, Herena, had finished a day of classes, and were quite disinterested in social interaction with anyone other than eachother. they were absorbed in a debate over the purpose of human life on earth, an average, everyday conversation for them at this point. they had tired of things like world hunger- they had discussed such mundane things hundreds of times, and had grown weary of them. as they approached the three conversing, Chiyu walked straight into Moon Bae, and Herena stooped down to help her up, glaring intensely at the three for doing such a thing to her beloved sister.

Siwon Sujo

"Oh, Siwon? Are you Korean too?" the boys voice had a slight note of anticipation which made Sujo form a tug of a smile, he remembered what it felt like to be new and a foriegner at this school. It was a scary thing, even the slightest feel of home was comforting. "My name's Moon Bae...First name Bae. And yes, I'm new. I came here last week." he confirmed his suspicions of the kid being new.
He was about to reply when the girl infront of him beat him too it, "here, trade'ya." Sujo grinned happily taking the basket ball twirling it in one of his hands as she took a flyer from the pile he held in the other. "Cheers" he felt a little relieved to get it back.

As he took the ball his ears practically turned red with the words he heard Bae talking, he had been interested in the band after seeing the flyer properly, it looked like the girl infront of him wanted to play drums occuring to her proud statement. He couldn't help but shake his head at her, she seemed rather defensive over the matter, as though she was trying to prove herself.
He kinda liked that she tried so hard.

"I haven't been to Korea since I was eight, but yeah i'm Korean" he winked at Bae jokingly hoping to comfort his nerves a little since he had been staring at him earlier, Sujo guessed it was because he was anxious of him.
Walking over to Bae he passed him over the pile of flyers he had collected off the floor when the kid had accidently knocked them everywhere, leaning down he lowered his head so he was at the same height "If you need any advice while your here, I'd be happy to help you" he casually ruffled the kids hair with his hand lacing it in his hair for a second before resting it on his head.
"I can be your Hyung if you like?" he showed a toothy smile, he liked helping out people, he knew he was maybe being a bit forward but that was just the way Sujo was, he rushed some things always wanting to make people comfortable around him. The only thing he didn't seem to rush was allowing people to call him by his first name, which not that many people knew because he never mentioned it, it was a personal thing for Sujo, if someone was going to call him by his first name he wanted them to be close.
"Other than that" he straightened his posture removing his hand from Bae's head to pass the ball between both of them out of habit "This band sounds interesting, wouldn't be looking for a rhythm Guitarist would you?" A little excitment of his own entangled his tone, he hadn't really been able to do much with his guitar other than play it at the restaurant he worked, he wanted to see what more he could.

Moon Bae

Bae's whole face flashed a rainbow of pinks and reds as he heard what Sujo had said. Did I just hear what I think he just said? He pinched himself, out of eyesight, and winced a bit. Yep, I did hear him correctly. He smiled sheepishly once again. He was never given the opportunity to call someone older than him that. He nodded a little and made a little squeak as the older male ruffled his hair. "S-sure...Hyung?" He blushed again by just saying the word. It made him a bit giddy at the feeling of it.

He stopped his imagination and came back to reality as he heard Sujo's next comment. "R-really? You would join?" He smiled like a little child on his birthday. He was overall happy. His hands started to shake slightly, trying to keep his excitement in him. He nodded at Arime's little story about her old band. "Yes, I'd really like for you to play the drums-,"his compliment was cut off as twins came up to them, mostly on of them with the short hair had bumped into him. "Ah!" He was cut off guard and screeched like a girl as the twin had bumped into him, making him fall onto the ground...again.

"Oh, I am so sorry about that. I should off looked at my surroundings...I would've moved out of the way for you." He saw the looked the other twin was giving and he did not like it one bit. He was already bullied for his nerd abilities and girlish looks, he knew the look. He motioned his hands in a defensive sign. Please don't hurt me.

Herena

Herena scoffed, still hoisting Chiyu up to her feet. She walked angrily toward Bae and had a fire in her eyes. But Chiyu ushed forward and grabbed her sisters arm, twirling her around. She shook her head slowly back and forth. Herena nodded, and scoffed one more.

She had done this for two reasons. First off, the little brat that knocked her sister over looked ridiculous, and second because Of the giddy lolita to her left. Good grief, the little twit was peppier even than her sister. Herena, of course, had no Idea why until she spoke. Arime started by simply grinning, and rocking back on her heels like a child once more. "Well, if you will have me, then I'm in. I love the drums! We just need... I don't know... a key boardist!"

Herena lit up at this "We play keyboard!" she announced, loudly.
Chiyu frowned slightly. She didn't really like to play. But she was going to stay with her sister, so she hid her displeasure.
