Description

ImageName: Tokala "Fox" Harjo
Age: 19
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 111 lbs
Hair: Brown
Eyes: Amber
Birthday: March 25th
Physical Description: Fox is a tiny little thing, relatively short and extremely thin. Her petite frame and lack of womanly curves matched with the lack of skin on her bones often makes others perceive her as weak and fragile if they hadn't gotten a look at her stony, fierce gaze. Fox's golden, amber eyes always seem to be flickering with an almost frighteningly intense determination, those shining orbs giving the only hint to the fire burning from deep within her, every other aspect of her tightly controlled and leashed so as she never appears weak. Many a people have told her that if she were to smile more, maybe laugh a little, she'd be a much more approachable, pretty young lady. But Fox has become too callused to heed their advice. She has long, brown hair that reaches all the way down to her butt and she wears little clothing. A plain, tan wrap conceals her chest and a pair of bottoms similar to a bikini cover her lower regions. Atop this is a chunky belt with tassels and beads hanging about here and there, a flask, a dagger, her holster for arrows, her blow dart, and other containers strapped on to it. She has a self-made bow that she's designed to have strapped to her back until time for use. Still, this minimal clothing isn't sexually enticing, but rather allows her to have freedom of movement and to keep her from overheating. In the winter, she has a fur cloak that wears to keep her warm. Fox doesn't always have the red paint on her face. It was what she and her band of rebels wore when they would attack, and she's continued the tradition of painting her face before battle since.

Skills: Everything that makes Fox valuable has to do with the combination of how quiet and quick she is.
    •Swift, silent assassinating
    •Spying
    •Pickpocketing/thieving
    •Hiding

Personality

Personality:If you expect Fox to act like a nineteen year old girl raised in prosperous Decatur, prepare to be surprised. She is strong and passionate, confident and clever, abrasive and honest. Fox has no problem stating how she feels, and is not one to hush her opinions. When she speaks, what she says is generally blunt, offensive, well worded, and completely honest. Many people don't like fox because 1) she refuses to be friendly and 2) she is almost always able to win an argument of sorts and no one likes losing. Some people take this behavior as rude and disrespectful. Is this true? Well, basically. It is true that Fox doesn't admire/respect many people, though, so perhaps her bold demeanor is a sign of insubordination. It truly takes a lot to win Fox's trust, loyalty, fondness, and respect. Fox is emotionally crippled, not really in touch with how she feels. She rarely laughs, cries, yells, gasps, ect. She is like a hardened rock in that aspect, so she covers up for it with her snarky remarks and a challenging attitude. A person might assume Fox was malicious or have ill-intentions based on her personality, but this is anything but the truth. Fox has a heart of gold, and will fighting ferociously for what is right. She saves every innocent living being she can and goes out of her way to make good people happy. She really does mean well, she just lacks social skill or charm. For example, she might pick some flowers and give them to a young child who was crying with an awkwardly serious face, or find the nest that a baby bird had fallen out of while calling someone a pansy. She lives her life to eradicate all that is wrong and help that which is right flourish.

Equipment

Equipment:Fox uses a bow and poisoned blow darts whenever possible. If forced into battle, she uses a dagger. Her small body is what keeps her insanely agile, her movements quick, light, and seemingly effortless. Indeed, Fox could outrun even the fastest of men if she wanted to. While she prefers to perch in a tree and shoot from afar with her bow, when in close combat Fox evades almost 80% of the blows dished out to her while sporadically striking with speed and precision.

History

Background:Fox was raised in a kingdom called Arcesia. This land had once been recognizable by its abundant natural resources, untouched ecological habitats, and peaceful people. With many rivers, a fully forested terrain, and a climate that never really reached below 70 degrees, it was the perfect home for almost any living creature. All the people emphasized the importance of the natural life-cycle, worshiped deities based on the elements, and valued other lifeforms. The people there congregated in small towns, homes made of clay and meals made of vegetation. It was a simple system, one that had lasted centuries upon centuries. Naturally, all good things come to an end. Arcesia was imperialised by an opposing superpower kingdom, the Dagolons invading into the territory to suck up the resources available, proclaiming that the inhabitants of Arcasia were putting them to waste. The Dagolons had advanced military techniques, their calvary force something to marvel at .Some of their soldiers even had metal devices that shot out more explosive metal. The inhabitants of Arcesia could do nothing as the soldiers came in, even living in the homes of the people already there in some parts of the country. Within just a decade or so, all of Arcesia had been stripped of what had once made it so magical. A strict fascist policy was set up, and it became clear that the Dagolons didn't only want their resources but had set their sights on owning the land.

With a corrupt and menacing government suppressing the people, it was only natural for a rebellion to spurt up. Fox was a part of this rebellion, being raised by parents who supported it and actually joining a band of renegade rebels when she was sixteen. She and other young people began to set up forts in the trees, spying on the Dagolons and occasionally setting up attacks to wipe out large bases. During one mission, she and her and her troop of 15 had swooped down from the trees and attacked a general leaving his base. Alas, they were much too close to the base for it to have been wise to make such an open attack and it wasn't long before the soldiers came swarming out. Almost all of her comrades were violently, gruesomely beaten, raped in some cases, and killed. Fox was able to escape because she was so fast and was told to run away by one of her closer friends. She was just a seventeen year old girl, and when told to flee in the face of danger, she did. This weakness is no longer present in Fox and she regrets this so earnestly that it pains her to this day to think about how cowardly she'd been that day. She was able to run all the way back to her town but when she returned to her village, she was devastated to find that it'd been set ablaze by the friends of the general she and her rebel troop had killed. While this was against Dagolon policy, no one said that individuals wouldn't break the rules when in a fit of passionate rage.

After a couple days of wandering the forests in secrecy, she ran into two other members of her rebel party who'd also survived. They decided it best to leave Arcesia for good, to seek out a better life in a more pure kingdom. They traveled all the way to Decatur with word of a "Heroe's Guild" being their motives. Fox has no idea how her homeland Arcesia is doing now or whether anyone in her small village (mother, father, siblings) survived that fire, and has no way of really finding out unless she were to travel back there again because of the Dagolon's tight grasp on communication. She plans to go someday, and vows to lead her home to riot back to the beautiful place she'd grown up with, but at the moment she has no power or resources to do so.

So begins...
