Jack also hide his snow-flake charm in an icle in the same area of his staff. A white furred chip-munk, which was a friend to Jack, had decided to stand guard over Jack's items, until his return. He was found near a lake in the artic circle in Alaska. He didn't know anything about himself, but his name, Jack. The family that found him was the Behr family, and after a while, he took on their name, becoming Jack Behr. Ever since then, Jack has been helping the little town of Elkwood. The population of Elkwood is barely 200 people, and everyone of them have taken Jack in as their own. The whole town helped out with Jack because the Behr's weren't able to do it on their own. Jack has become a very handy man around the village, making deliveries, and repairing houses and cars and other vehicles. He drives his own 1954 Chevy Pick-up, around the town.

Alf sighed when he was told that someone else was asking for Jack as well. This complicated things some as it meant that Evalyn had someone here that Alf might be running into if he's not careful. Just as he was thinking this, a young man entered the bar and began to converse with the bar tender. Alf didn't focus on him much before going back to his own thoughts. He would soon regret this when a man pointed out that it was Jack Frost and that he was leaving the bar. This jumped Alfr out of his thoughts and he started to force his way through the crowd of people. By the time he got out, Jack was a fair amount down the street. Alf moved to run, but observed that Jack stopped. While he didn't run, Alf still walked briskly to make up for lost ground. He reached Jack, who seemed to be in a daze of sorts, and offered a greeting.

"Jack Frost, do you know how difficult it is to find you?" The amusement in his voice was from finally finding him.

Alf, slightly frustrated at being blown off, quickly caught up with Jack.

"Okay, I'll admit that this has got to be confusing, but you are Jack Frost and you need to come with me." Alfr grabbed firmly on to Jack's shoulder. "Your life depends on it."

Being this serious felt odd to Alf. He who made a joke out of everything certainly felt out of his element in this moment, but with how distracted Jack was, he felt it was needed. Who knows how much information Evalyn had and he couldn't take any chances.

Alf let out a heavy sigh and let Jack walk off with resolve to follow him. Jack lead him to a pretty lake where an old lady sat and they talked for sometime before Jack sent her off. Alfr stayed hidden to watch the man. He figured that Jack wasn't going to be believing him anytime soon and thought it best to simply observe for the moment. Alf watched as chipmunk ran to Jack. The critter seemed to have a goal of getting to Jack. Alf found this unusual and waited to see what Jack would do.

(Sorry if this seems rushed, I'm not feeling to well today, but wanted to get something out. =w=;;)

Alfr watched from his safe spot behind Jack. The snow began to fall and although the temperature was no different than The North, Alf shivered. Something felt off, but he couldn't pin point it. The snow crunched a number of feet beside him and Alf's focus zipped straight to the noise. A man about Alf's height walked out and backed Jack into a tree.

Alfr reacted as fast as he could. The smell of Peppermint tinted the air as Alf transformed two red and white stripped candy canes into his favorite daggers. As soon as the ice knife was out, Alf had a blade to the man's neck.

"Sorry," Alf mocked the man, "I can't let you do that; Santa wouldn't like it,"

Alf watched as the man disappeared. He knew very well that more attacks on Jack's life were already being planed, but for now the both of them were safe. Alfr look at Jack who was still pointing his stick him. The man looked frantic and confused, and in his panic didn't see the the patterns of ice swirling around his hand. Alf wondered if the excitement and fear of being cornered had forced Jack's powers to reappear. He decided that this moment of safety should be used to gain Jack's trust.

Alfr looked Jack in the eye and moved a foot forward.

"Jack," He said calmly, "I'm not insane, and neither are you," Alf took another cautious step.

"Jack, you're not insane; I didn't do anything and this is a normal thing for people like you," Alf was starting to become uncomfortable. He wasn't good with handling people who were upset. He supposed that he should have prepared himself for this more. Alf mentally punched himself. Did he really think that Jack wouldn't be horrifyingly confused and scared when he found out? Alf stepped forward once again, but this time the movement was more unsure and slightly awkward than anything.

Alf relaxed seeing Jack calming down some. He still felt a little awkward, but pushed through the feeling. Alf thought for a moment. He needed to explain Jack's past in a way that seemed believable, and with all that Jack had just seen, doing this should be easier than before.

Alf took a deep breath before speaking, "Your name is Jack Frost, not whatever you had said before. About 300 years ago you were part of the Frost Tribe. Then this woman from your tribe decided that having control over all things winter would be pretty cool, and then found some other guy named Jack who wanted to have control over the holidays, and teamed up for evil, and then killed your tribe,"
He took in a deep breath before continuing, "And now Evalyn wants you dead so that she's the only member of the Frost tribe alive, but Santa needs you so that she can be destroyed," Alfr finished his explanation and yawned, all this running around trying to find this guy and now having to explain his past was very tiring.

"Well," Alf sheepishly began,"I really don't know why you don't remember anything," Alf felt a little embarrassed. Santa had seemed so frantic to find this guy that Alfr had completely shoved research out the window. He had gone into this mission not knowing anything about Jack, save for word of mouth. He didn't know how Jack reacted to things, what he cared about, what he disliked about himself, Alf didn't know how to fight Jack and that made him uncomfortable. If Jack decided, right now, that he didn't like Alf, then Alf didn't stand a chance.

Alf jumped slightly when Jack started talking again and asked about the carvings and if the two of them had been friends. Alf mentally scuffed and thought that this whole thing would be easier if they had been.

"No, we we were never friends. To be honest, I really don't know anything about your past. I only know what I've heard from other Elves," He leaned forward some to get a better view of the carvings.

"As for those," He said while pointing to the stick, "My guess is the marks means that your powers are being channeled through the stick,"

Alf watched Jack as he moved about, "Umm," he muttered as he thought, "I'm pretty sure that Evalyn was part of your tribe, and I'm not so sure as to what Jack really wants, but," Alf was cut off by Jack who hit his head and he snickered under his breath, "but, if you want more information you're going to have to come with to the North Pole,"

Alf shook his head and chuckled slightly, "Yeah, that just about the sum of it, sounds pretty weird when you put it like that," He looked at Jack, "But honestly, are you really going to ignore what you just saw?" Alf spun the candy cane in his hand around his finger in an absent-minded manner.

Alf placed the candy cane safely in his pocket before clapping hims hands together and rubbing them, "Alright," He said, "Pack whatever you can carry. We'll leave tonight so you have time to make your goodbyes," With the thought of goodbyes, Alf then remembered the woman Jack had been talking to before. She could pose a problem and if Alf saw them talking, it's likely that minion had as well.

Alf looked to Jack in a slightly more serious manner and asked, "That woman you were talking to, how close are you to her?"

Alf became slightly uncomfortable seeing Jack's reaction to his question and tried and brush it off. And he thought of what to do with the woman. If they were close then she was a target. Alf would need to call in someone to watch over the woman to hopefully keep her safe along with those around her.

"Alright, I'll get someone to watch her," Alf said mostly to himself and then, to attempted to distract Jack from whatever was upsetting him, he changed the subject.

"Do you have a car?" Alf asked not wanting to have to walk all the way back to Sprusefield, even if he had planed on doing that in the first place.

"Lynn, that's her name?" Alf said an absentminded manner, then laughed at Jack's doubt,"That's funny, you still thinking you're not Jack Frost and all that. Do you really think Santa would have sent me here if you weren't the right Jack?"

Alf smiled when Jack said he had a car then frowned slightly at it not working, "Well, how long until it does work if the mechanic hasn't fixed it?"

Chuckling at Jack's question, replied with, "About 104, give or take. Funny though, you ask about my age before my name. It's Alf, by the way,"

Alf sighed at then news. That meant he was going to be held up in this town for a week and he was going to have to watch over Jack so he didn't die.

Alf then became amused at Jack trailing off.
"Younger than...You?" He laughed, "I'm a 104 year old elf searching for the lone survivor of a genocide that happened far before I was even born. Do you really think I don't know how old you are?"

Alf was admittedly a little excited at being able to ride in a car. It wasn't often that it happened and it was always a fun experience for him. He climbed into the truck and was instantly distracted by everything in it. He thought that this truck was probably older than the last one he was in. Although that was about 20 years ago, but he was pretty sure of it. Alf was so distracted by the truck that he almost didn't hear Jack when he spoke.

"Hmm? Oh, uh, Sprusefield." He said as he forced himself to become focused. He still needed to call someone in to look after that woman. Alf took out his cell phone and dialed the number of a fellow warrior. She picked up fairly quickly and Alf gave her a short briefing on what he needed done. She said that she would get there as fast as she could and to not worry about the woman's safety.

"I've called in a favor with a friend," He looked to Jack, "She'll be here as fast as she can so you wont have to worry about Lynn or anyone else here," Alf offered a reassuring smile to help calm Jack's surly frayed nerves.

"Hmm..." Alf thought on Jack's question, "It's hard to say for sure. If you fight with us then it could either be dragged on or ended quickly. If you don't fight, then it will defiantly end fast, and with the worst result you could think of," He sighed in thought, "It all falls back to how prepared Evalyn is..." He turned his head to the window and watched everything pass them. He allowed himself to zone for a bit as the music drowned out the sounds of the truck.

Alf thought about his choices. He was hungry, all he had to eat were the small things he had packed, but he knew that he needed to get Jack to The North. He had to push the thought of food to the back of his mind and do what he needed to do.

"It's best if we keep moving, sadly," He said to Jack with regret. Alf got out of the truck to look around. He was looking for the building with the transporter. Down the road there was a toy store that had a Christmas theme to it.

"There's the place," Alf said as he motioned to the shop.

Alf led Jack into the toy store. The front room was filled with toys. Piles of stuffed animals, shelves and shelves of boxes colored brightly and stacked high. There were children with their parents running around the shop with smiles plastered onto their faces. In the far back was the register maned by a friendly looking fellow who nodded to Alf as they approached. Alf nodded back, passed the counter, and opened a door with a "Staff Only" sign.

The area behind the door was a staff locker room that seemed fairly ordinary. Alf allowed Jack to pass then locked the door. He glanced around the room then walked up to a circuit breaker, opened it's metal door, and flipped a switch labeled "HOME" into the on position. The sound of a generator starting came from somewhere outside and a locker on the far side of the room opened. Alfr walked to the locker and motioned with his hand to it's swirling blue opening.

"You first," Alf said to Jack.

Alf stepped through the portal after Jack. He was used to portal travel and so Alf had little trouble moving through the locker. When Alf appeared on the other side, he saw an elf threatening Jack. He probably should have considered that with how tight security was lately, Jack wasn't just going to pass with out some sort of suspicion.

"Hey, Wess!" Alf said to the elf. Wess looked at him then motioned to Jack with the weapon, "He with you?" He asked.

Alfr dug through his coat and pulled out the letter Santa had given him and walked over to Wess, who was still eyeing Jack, "I've got the Big Man's word," Wess lowered his weapon and read the paper, looked at the attached photo and back to Jack a few times before apologizing and going back to his post.

"Sorry about that," Alf said to Jack as he took off his hat. He handed the red and white toboggan and handed it to Jack, "Wear it, it'll cover your ears and prevent any others who might have some forceful questions,"

Alf laughed at Jack's comment and ran a hand through his matted hair, "Now, now," He boasted in a voice fit for a diva, "Don't be so hard on yourself, when you compare yourself to perfection, you'll always come up short," he laughed loudly as he continued to walk down the brick paved road.

“Trust me, you’re Jack Frost. You wouldn’t have been able to do all that swirly stuff with that stick if you weren't,” Alf said matter of factly. They soon came upon the village of the North Pole. Alf laughed again at Jack’s observation and thought to himself that the place really did look like some sort of gingerbread house themed prison.

“No Jack, that’s just Santa’s Workshop and the village around it. With the threat of Evalyn, we’ve had to really beef up security,” They continued onward to the large, bolted shut doors. The gate guard was an elf Alf knew fairly well. It’s a bit hard to talk to someone on a near weekly basis and not get to know them. Alfr waved at the woman as they approached. She waved back but tilted her head to the side in question when she noticed Jack.

“How you doing, Alf?” She took his badge and began to scan and type on a tablet sort of device. She looked to Jack, then looked back to Alf. “Is he...” She trailed off. Alf nodded knowing what she was asking. “Well then Jack,” She smiled brightly to him, “I hope you enjoy your visit here, and I hope we don’t overwhelm you too much! After all, you have become something of a celebrity here,”

The woman giggled and moved to open the gate. When the two were inside, Alf allowed himself to be pulled and listened as Jack voiced his concerns. Alf realized that he couldn't really answer Jack's questions and that annoyance with himself was back. He probably would have been able to reassure Jack if he had done his research. He rubbed at the back of his neck nervously

"I really don't know much, honestly." He spoke to Jack while looking to the side, "I've really been put out of my element here. Normally I'd have at lest a week to do some scout work, but I didn't even have an hour, just a 'Go find Jack Frost'," He looked at Jack and could see that he was a little frightened, and rightfully so. "But, um, I'll do what I can to explain better." He paused and sighed, "The only way we can even attempt to defeat Evalyn is with another Frost, you; I can't even imagine what would happen if you don't, Santa might be able to, though. Santa can tell you anything you want to know." He stared at Jack, "So, you... wanna head over there?" Alf motioned to the large building that was Santa's Workshop.

Inside the doors was a nice little waiting room. The wall that faced Jack and Alf as they walked in was made entirely of glass and looked into the colorful, factory like workshop. A man sat behind a desk in the middle of the room. He looked up from his work, saw Alf, saw Jack, and was on intercom with Santa before they got to the desk. He was talking quietly and ended the conversation quickly. He muttered for them to wait a moment while he opened the door. A portion of the window slid into the wall to their left and an opening that led onto a metal walkway formed. Alf thanked the man who nodded and went back to work.

The walk way led all around the shop and could be fairly confusing to someone who didn't know their way around it. Alf led Jack up multiple sets of stairs and finally to a large red door. He looked to Jack,

"All the answers to your questions lay behind this door..." He stared intensely at Jack, then a smile that he tried his hardest to hold back forced it's way on to his face, "Pffffft! Okay, okay, I'm sorry, I couldn't keep that one up!" He laughed loudly at his own joke. A few chuckles still escaped even as he tried to calm down.

He put his hand on the door handle, "You ready?"

Alf smiled, "Like I'd miss out on seeing your face after you realize I've been telling the truth!" Alf opened the door to a large and colorful office. A large, oak desk sat in the middle of the room. Toy designs made from clay, wood, and any another thing that could be carved, along with their sketches, were scattered around. The whole place looked messy, but at the same time, you could tell there was some organization to it. Behind the desk was a large man dressed in red. He was hunched over his desk, and snoring loudly.

Alf stared at his boss and laughed nervously, "Uh, Santa...?" He looked to Jack, "He's not always like this, I swear." Alfr walked to the desk and shook his arm. "Santa, time to get up, Jack's here!" Santa jumped in his seat and looked around quickly before his eyes rested on Jack.

"Jack!" His voice was low and cheerful, "I'm so glade to see you again!" Santa got up to met Jack by the door and went to hug Jack tightly.

Alfr grabbed the sticks that Jack had brought. He handed them to Jack and in a very serious voice told him, "Hold on tightly to these, it could save your life," Once his warning was issued, Alf grabbed tightly onto Jack's arm. He pulled him roughly out the door and paused. His eyes darted from place to place. He observed the workshop pin pointing escape routes, enter points, threats, and, friendlies. He allowed his personality to fade away and heightened his senses just as he was trained to do.

Alf pulled Jack to right and up a flight of stairs. The sirens echoed in the now emptying factory along with the sound of foot steps on metal. The building shaked as boulders wreaked the walls. Soon, Alf stopped in front of a door much like Santa's office door. This one, however, was a pale blue and a snowflake themed crest adorned the center.

"Jack," Alf looked to him, "Only a Frost can open this door, focus hard and be quick,"
