All Land in the world is connected by the endless oceans and the vast seas. Rivers run like veins through the earth only serving to bind the these bodies of water together.

We all know the stories of the War of Tears.
The lingering pain of the wounds left from a time of strife.
A war brought to a close by the endless tears of angels and gods.
Drowning out the ways of old.

In humanities insatiable appetite to destroy, a war was fought. No one can recall the names of the Sides that waged this terrible war but we remember that they each crafted new and vile weapons to carry out their will. Weapons that leveled mountains, dried up the seas and could even split the heavens. A city could exist one moments and without any notice or warning it would vanish. Life crumbled away with each passing day. The fighting continued for years with no sign of stopping or even slowing.

With neither side giving way to the other, and the earth seeming to be lost in the conflict. A few prayed for the fighting to end, for all the suffering to finally stop. These few pure of heart who wished above all else that peace would finally be realized and no more blood would be shed on such a pointless war. The first Tear fell. Rain began to fall and slowly covered the sky, for days it poured and only increased in volume with the ticking of the clock. Yet the war continued and so the second Tear fell, and the winds blew tearing trees from the ground and toppling the monuments of human pride. Yet still the war raged and thus the final Tear fell and the ground split opened and swallowed man. And from the broken remains of the great opening that had spread across the world came the first of many blessings. Slowly the world reshaped it self as the water rose and drowned the wicked. New masses of land formed, crafting large Islands yet nothing so large as a continent of old. Magic poured from the new oceans and altered the world. New and strange creatures were born into the world. Some small and fragile others large and terrifying.

New beings with human level intelligence began to rise and flourish in this alien world. These creatures resembled things out of fairy tales. Elves, dragons, Cat like people and various others including Mermaids. Along side these being came the ability to manipulate life energy for a variety of things, which people grew to call magic. Magic quickly became intertwined with everyday life and made rebuilding some idea of a civilization much easier. Even though magic was incredibly common among all the races it use was limited but flexible one could create small yet destructive balls of fire, help make crops grow faster and even help predict the future. Yet there was one ability that was considered unbelievably rare to where most thought it was just a myth. This ability was called Oceanum Dominus (Ocean Master) this power gave one the control over any body of water and could change the flow of the winds and currents. And seeing how most of the world was now claimed by the ocean this ability would be enough to make anyone a god.

Several hundred years have gone by since the war now dubbed the War of Tears. Technology has been widely forgotten in the place of magic and it is discouraged to delve into such studies in fear another War of Tears might happen. Once many of the Islands stabilized and towns and cities were formed trade began with each other. Great ships haul supplies back and forth between the islands, however the ocean is a vast and dangerous place with sea monsters that would like nothing more than to devour these ships, but the worst are pirates. In this new age void of war between nations a old conflict was reborn. To combat these old threats to peace A group was formed known as the The Neptune Federation. This Federation is formed by most of the larger Islands and dominate the trade routes with overwhelming force and let the smaller Islands to fend for themselves.

Seeing how The Neptune Federation miss uses the power they have gained over the years, A lone pirate ship stand against them in a quest of understanding. The pirate ship The Broken Trident who's captain is the infamous pirate Galeon Strikes.

For three years Galeon has been a thorn in the side of the Federation. From disrupting trade routes to raiding patrol ships. With in this three year span he has become the most wanted man.

But a Captain is only as good as his crew so who will join in his fight against the federation.

Galeon found himself in a familiar, yet a foreign place. People running and screaming around him as the world around them slowly burned. Ships soared through the air and rained destruction blindly onto the world below. Great titans and beast made of metal fought with thunderous force. "Why...." this was the only word that Galeon was capable of forming. Yet that one word had so many questions entangled within it. Why, is this happening? Why, am I seeing this? Why, do I keep coming here? Why, me? A deafening roar came rumbling from one of the titans as it feel, before a large explosion came tearing towards him.

As the flames enveloped him, his eyes tore open. A sigh of relief left his lungs as he found himself in his quarters. It took him a moment realize he had fallen asleep at his desk. He had spent most of the night looking over maps they have taken from there last raid that outlined the new trade routes being used by the Neptune Federation along with a few patrol routes. A burnt out candle sat on the corner of his desk, some wax had made its way onto his desk and hardened at some point.

Slowly pushing himself from his table still slightly a sleep. He reached for his cutlasses that hung along with his belt off the wall and strapped them around his waste before exiting his room. His first step outside the room came with a loud squeak of the floor boards alerting many of the crew to his exodus from his quarters. "Should really get that fixed..."

Once on deck he took a moment to breath in the salty morning air, a sensation he feels will never get old. The sun was particularity warm today and the ocean was quiet. Normally he would say it was going to be a calm day but he knew better than to jinx fate.

'Careful they are hunting you.' The all too familiar voice in the back of his head rang. But he of course new very well than to ignore that warning. Quickly he scanned the horizon while moving around the edge of The Broken Trident. "Where is it?" he muttered under his breath. And like an answer from the gods there it was...or better yet there they were.

Two patrol ships belonging to the Federation. Small fry compared to The Broken Trident which was a well tested battle ship that Galeon had 'borrowed' from the Neptune Federation. A rare smile tugged at the side of his face. "All hands on deck! We got two fresh patrol ships to raid on the port side!" Quickly Galeon made his up to helm. "Nimethel any visions of note for these guys?"

Nimethel was awake in her own quarters, once again studying one of the routes she had planned for this region of the seas. If they kept on their present course, they would be approaching a trio of islands where they could stop and buy some supplies if they managed to keep a low profile. Of course, depending on what the captain had in mind, that was probably going to be easier said than done.

A shout from above confirmed her fears. Galeon had just woken up recently, it seemed, and had gone up to the deck and spotted two ships. Had their lookout been asleep on the job?! The catgirl hurriedly tidied away her quill and inkwell before scrambling up to the deck, just in time to hear him ask her if she'd had any visions involving the two ships. She answered with a negative before coming up to the helm herself.

"Galeon, do we really have to do this?" she asked him, taking a moment to survey the two ships from afar with her keen eyes. "They're still some distance away and haven't spotted us yet. If we stay our course we can still slip by them. Fighting will only draw attention to ourselves, and that's the last thing we need right now." Again she glanced in the direction of the Federation ships, as if to double-check that The Broken Trident hadn't been sighted just yet.

Sherbet

Image

Tired... upset... sick... lazy...

Merely a few words to describe the beginning of Sherbet's day. However, this may not become as a shock to those who have been around him long enough. He is never himself until he has his daily coffee, served with extra creamer and 2 packs of sugar. No more, no less. If you'd like, you can relate it to a Snickers thing, if it'll help you remember it better. Although these help ease his aggression, his piercing eyes still judge you mentally like an animal choosing its prey. He'll either move on... or make you his next target. To what extent? Oh, surely not murdering... but once the moment comes, you'd best watch yourself.

The blondette flickered his eyes open at the sound of a floorboard, only for them to lay apon a wooden ceiling. He took a moment to take it all in. Was he really awake? Was this not apart of a dream? The young man was soon to be disappointed, for it was reality once more. If that stupid creaking floorboard would be fixed, maybe he wouldn't wake up in the middle of the night when the captain is about. No matter... once more materials are brought aboard, that'll be his first priority.

Sherbet sat up and cracked his neck, grunting as he tossed the sheets off his legs. No sooner than that, the Captain announced for 'All hands on deck!'

What a bother. Just one night, he'd love to sleep in. A life on the sea was surely the way for him, but he certainly needed to sacrifice a lot as well. Maybe he would not be so cranky if he could get a full night's sleep, instead of the captain being a random alarm clock.

The blondette threw on a cream-colored T-shirt, and a pair of jeans. With that, he was on his way out, brushing his hair with his fingers.

Scerina

Image

The young woman rested in her hammock, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she lazily rocked herself by pushing off with her dangling foot. This night was not much of a restful night, though others may disagree with her. What was wrong with it? To be perfectly honest, nothing! It was quiet, the starts shown brightly, the song of the sea was a mere whisper, and the boat was not creaking every 6 seconds. Such a perfect night, yet it was spent tossing and turning. Why? Well, Scerina felt as something was wrong... she could feel it in her bones!

The blondette got onto her feet, rummaging through her clothing drawer as she mumbled to herself. "Did I leave my uniform here... is it washing...?'' Scerina questioned herself with a raised eyebrow. Her question was soon answered when she finally relieved her steampunk-styled dress. It had a stain from dinner last night, but never worry~ nothing a small scrub won't fix. With that in mind, she slipped it over her head, and then grabbed for her boots.

Suddenly, a voice rang loud and clear through the ship.

'All hands on deck!'

Frantically, Scerina slipped on her boots and bolted out of her roomdoor, not even bothering to tie or buckle them yet. Not the smartest idea at all, but she wanted to know what was up, and she wanted to know now.

Fel smiled. The oatmeal and coffee were finished, and now he could start on the fish. Humming to himself, he headed to his rack of dried spices, trying to decide which ones to use. "Basil? Majoram? Oh, great." He tapped one of the empty containers. "We're almost out of... well, everything. Eh, I'll make do." Bertha the kitten mewled in response before rubbing against his leg.

He started the stove in preparation, but the call for all hands on deck made him scowl. With a curse, he put out the fire and grabbed a fry pan and a knife. Fel cursed again when he stumbled over the sack of potatoes. "... by my father's nine lives and the Goddess's broken claws!" he growled.

Regardless, he ran to deck. There, he saw the Captain, Nimethel, and the dog, Batters. Who was currently green, for some odd reason. "What is..." he trailed off when he noticed the Federation ships. "Oh. We're raidin' them?" He shrugged, a bit unconcerned. "But good mornin' to you too, captain. And hello, Nimethel." Fel grinned. "You look beautiful, as usual."

He glanced back and noticed that Scerina and Sherbert had also arrived. "Why, if it isn't the lovely Scerina!" Fel winked at Sherbert. "Don't worry, dear. I got your coffee in the kitchen. Though you'll have to wait. Looks like we got bigger things to worry about."

Scerina

Image

Scerina emerged from the lower quarters, only to be met with the sight of the sea. She scanned the horizon. It was so... calm? To be honest, she was expecting something more... violent. Perhaps cannons constantly firing off their ammo, or blood splattered across the deck like a spilled bag of beans. Though it was not something she WANTED to see necessarily, it was better than just calm waters. (In the case of an emergency, of course)

She locked her arms behind her back and slowly approached the captain, awaiting his orders. Of course, she kept her distance from him, for he was chatting with Nimenthel. No matter, one of her favorite people among the crew had greeted all of them with a cheery attitude, to which she replied with a honey-glow in her cheeks.

"Glad to see you well, Fel. My, my, what a good start to a day, hm?" She asked with a soft smirk. The blondette dug into the pocket of her dress, and tossed a gold coin to Fel. "Mmm, an extra gold piece for a second serving of breakfast when we all settle down~?" She asked. This was a normal thing that Scerina would do. Being the food lover she was, she'd bribe him into making her extra. Now, he should know by now, if he tried to be courteous and did it for no payment, she'd start to get upset. It's best to just take it, or tell her 'no'. Either one worked, she wouldn't throw a fit. She's not THAT childish.

Sherbet
Image

Sherbet caught his sister by the shoulder before she bolted out of the exit, glaring down at her. "It's good to be risky, but not in the situation almost shouting 'sudden death'... slow down." He lectured her, then pushed her along. Goodness, it was strange that she could act so childish at this age, while he on the other hand, has been keeping a watchful, careful eye out. He didn't trust the crew yet, and it has gotten to the point where he was almost paranoid.

As the siblings emerged to the deck, he narrowed his eyes. Ah... he could spot two boats in the distance. Sherbet reached down to the buckle of his jeans, searching for his weapon. He knew he would need it in a few moments here.

However, before he could do so, he was suddenly greeted by the cook. While his sister greeted him with the same ammount of enthusiasm, he rolled his eyes at her actions. She always wasted her money just for an extra piece of toast, or a second helping. Although harmless, it somehow... bothered him. More than it really should.

As Fel assured him about his coffee, his eyes narrowed. "... Humph, better late than never..." He snapped in a low mumble. Of course, he recieved a shove from his sister, to which he glared at in reply. Scerina backed off after that.

The itsy bitsy spider...

Jezebel stared blankly at the eight-legged abomination that had somehow managed to descend into her latest concoction of what was supposedly herbal tea. Supposedly being the keyword in every one of Jezebel's creations. It certainly didn't look like tea, unless a jello substance was a synonym for that. Not that it mattered much now, seeing how Charlotte here had ruined whatever purpose it served. Poor thing didn't stand a chance the second it baptised itself in the grey-ish drab that boiled under a mild fire, and soon the spider had amalgamated with the latest alchemical brew as the surprise ingredient, like peppers in an otherwise sweet dish.

Jezebel chastised the now molten spider with a piercing, not-so-stern glare at the marble cup that had swallowed it whole.

The ship doctor dimmed the flame, letting the dubious tea simmer down before gently grasping it with both hands and making her way to the deck. If memory had served her well, she had heard another one of Gale's morning-breath belches that, with the way the ship's layout worked, mysteriously morphed into a whisper as it reached the womans's ears. Or maybe that was Jezebel's tendency to block out anything that was equal to- or louder than an orchestra of loincloth barbarians displaying the art of warcry.

With a sauntering pace she arrived at her destination, careful not to spill her tea as she sampled it, and conjoined with the other crew members without so much as a peep or a hello, and instead took to deducing what might have gotten her dear captain, and some others, so ecstatic.

Unfortunately, it was the exact thing that Jezebel was afraid of. Galeon had spotted Navy ships, and was about to persuade his entourage that confronting these big fishes was a, quote on quote, good idea. Naturally, she objected to such ridicule. Drawing attention would be most inefficient. You'd think a capable captain would be aware of infamy and the troubles that come with it. Of course, Gale was an obvious exception to that rule, an exception that Jezebel couldn't quite comprehend.

But the captain would most definitely have it his way. No spider in the world could mess up that kind of brewery.

Dymon relinquished authority to Galeon, having been up much earlier that morning and taken the responsibility of administration for the time being, "Captain at the helm." she stated to the immediate party before going to the rails, "You heard him, get the ship ready to fight and be on your guard!" she shouted out to the crew, though it wasn't harsh by any means. Harsh wasn't her style, though 'mean' could sometimes be, when someone got on her nerves, something that wasn't particularly rare.

When Nimethel voiced her concerns she addressed them before Galeon would get the chance to speak, "They're onto us anyways; That might even be why these particular ships are here. However, I do agree that the cost of engaging them might outweigh the gain we could get, if only in the lives we could potentially lose." the small woman says, addressing the captain with the second sentence, "They're just patrol ships, there's no guarantee that they'll bother us if we don't bother them and we've not got all that much to gain from fighting them."

She hated going counter to the Captain. She looked up to him more than she could really put to words for what he'd achieved but it was her job as the First Mate to let her opinion on his actions be known, so that he could better keep on the top of his game. When Jezebel came to the group of them she gave her a little nod, being someone whose opinion normally matched up with Dymon's fairly well.

Disapproval. He felt that feeling from everyone on deck. Glancing around to see everyone's faces he knew none of them felt it was a good idea. The small smile he did have vanished in place for a sigh. "Alright, alright I get it. We don't need to pursue them." moving from edge and moved towards his crew. "Just stay alert if they spot us, they may come after us."

He knew very well he had been pushing them a little too hard over the past couple of weeks. Maybe going a bit easy on them would do them some good. "Dymon, Nimethel. Get us to the nearest port so we can resupply." His First mate and Navigator, the two people he trust with out question if they both felt strongly about dodging this potential battle he might as well listen.

Now he could at least address the rest of the crew to seem a bit more like a captain. "Wilcersons, the floorboard near my quarters are feeling a bit loose." It wasn't a major problem that needed to be looked to right away but if the board broke as he walked over it one day that could end very poorly.

Finally noticing that there was a slight rumble in the pit of his stomach he realized he hadn't eaten yet. "Mister Waters could you bring me something to eat would you." Now with food and the floor board in orders to be taken care of he felt more pressing thoughts should be taken into account. And to make the most sense out these thoughts it would be best to get the more studied of the crew together. "Miss Leblanc, Mister Sherbet and Nimethel once the course has been set meet me in my quarters to we can go over a few things about what we will do once we have resupplied. Dymon your in charge." And with no further orders to give out he diced to return to his cabin.

Inside his cabin, the closet thing to a home he had ever known. It was filled with maps and books from the islands he had visited. A grotesque sea monsters head mounted above his desk. He remembered fondly the battle with that creature. his bed was little more than a mat rolled out with some sheets thrown onto it. Comfort wasn't his biggest concern when it came to himself. Yet he did hope the crew itself was comfortable. On his desk sat a journal , well journals, each with a record of his dreams. Those wretched dreams that have haunted him for years. Dreams of death and destruction most could not even fathom, but even with all the pain and anger there were times when the dreams would show him the kindness of others, those who would bane together and fight against the evil that threatened them. "Is that what I'm trying to do fight against the evil that is coming? Is that why I have these dreams to inspire me or warn me?" Taking a set at his desk he began to write once again the dreams of his sleep.

Nimethel was relieved when the captain decided to call off the attack. Had it not been for Dymon voicing her own concerns, Galeon just might have gone through with doing battle with the ships. She never was particularly eager at the thought of fighting the Federation, and silently thanked the gods for being able to avoid another skirmish.

The captain's shouting from earlier had roused the entire crew from whatever they had been doing previously, and now they were all assembled on the deck for the convenience of being given orders. Nim clearly heard a remark from a certain flirtatious half-breed, flashing a smile in his direction. She would have retorted as per usual, but right now there were more pressing matters to attend to.

Taking the helm, Nimethel held it steady while checking the position of the sun in the sky and which way the wind was blowing, adjusting the helm accordingly so that they could slip by the patrol ships. Then, taking some rope, she lashed the helm in place so that she wouldn't have to be holding it constantly until they reached the nearest island. With the course set she followed Galeon to his quarters, choosing to wait outside the door until he called her in.

Sherbet

The blondette kept his mouth shut, however, he had 100 words captivated in his mind. 'Fix the damn floorboard, now you tell me...' He thought as his eyes narrowed apon the captain. However, he did not want to cause a scene. He was extremely outnumbered, and needed this job. He would not dare to ruin it for his sister either.

With that, he made his way towards the captain's study, grumbling as he left his sister behind. It was a one-man job, and he preferred to have breakfast when everyone was on duty, not together.

With the course set, Dymon vaults the rail overhanging the deck only to sit on it, overseeing the crew's actions, Jezebel suddenly being the only other person at the helm that she had regular interactions with. However, seeing as neither of them were terribly chatty people, she resolved simply to watch the crew do as they needed to do and ensure that the wheel didn't leave the position it was lashed to.

She leaned her chin on her palm, bored.

"Aye, captain." After lazily saluting, he headed back to the kitchen. With a grimace, he began to prepare breakfast. The oatmeal had gone cold, so he quickly lit the fire again to warm it. But, at least fish didn't take much more preparation. Soon, it was cooked to perfection. Fel quickly added the last few personal touches.

Extra fish for Nimethel, extra chili for Sherbet and for the captain... well, he hadn't figured out the captain's favorite foods yet. But mark his words, he would one day! So for the captain, he kept normal portions. He wasn't exactly sure about Jezebel's favorites, either, but he had a suspicion that she liked lots of herbs in her food. Just in case, he made sure to put some more on the side.

He'd have to prepare Dymon's and Scerina's food later. The captain came first, after all. On second thought, he prepared the other two's food regardless. Knowing Scerina, she'd probably come into the kitchen anyway. (Extra oatmeal, extra chili, extra... everything, for Scerina. He didn't know about Dymon's tastes, so he kept those normal, too. Hmph. Why couldn't they just tell him instead of being mysterious?)

After adding the drinks (coffee for Sherbert, milk for Nimethel, and juice for the other two), Fel balanced the different plates and headed to the captain's cabin. After dodging a loose floorboard, he arrived in front of the quarters. There, he saw Sherbet and Nimethel waiting.

"Sherbet!" he said, grinning. "If it isn't my favorite frozen dessert!" With a flourish, he handed the plates to the blond.

"And the perfect Nimethel," Fel greeted warmly. "Freshly cooked fish, just the way you like it." He glanced at the closed door. "The captain's still busy?"

Galeon silently jotted down to the best of his abilities, the confines of his dreams into his tattered journal. Once the task was complete he slowly closed before shuffling through the maps that laid strung across his desk. Once he found the two he was looking for he quickly rolled the ones he had no use for and placed them upon a shelf that was even more cluttered than his desk. Taking another glance around Galeon noticed just how out of place everything was. Lately he had been to fixated on his dreams and the voices that guide him. In his heart he new these things would never quit until he finished some unknown task but was that any excuse for pushing his crew they way he had. Walking back to his desk he placed the two maps side by side.

The map on the left showed the series of Islands in which they were currently sailing between. Blue line connected some of the islands which showed the current trade routes used by the federation. And the map on the right showed the same Islands but with a red lines connecting different locations. This was of course the current patrol routes of the federation. Yet there were markings on this map he didn't recognize. There was a red dot on one of the islands that was not on the other map and did not match up with any of the naval bases and if memory served him correctly he remembered that island to be home to dragons. "Why would they be there?"

Hearing people outside his door he realized he had been in there much longer than he had intended. "Nimethel, come in, And if that is Mister Waters I hear, he may enter as well."

Nimethel gave a nod of acknowledgement as Sherbet approached her. The catgirl sometimes wondered if the reason he acted so stuffy might have been because of his name. It was... well, unique was one way of describing it. She at least gave him a friendly smile in an attempt to alleviate said stuffiness a little.

When Fel arrived, her face immediately brightened up, followed by desperately trying to suppress her mirth when he playfully referred to the bosun as a frozen dessert. When she recovered from the giggle fit she gratefully took her plate from the ship's cook. "Why thank you, my good sir," she said, returning the grin. "Yes, I think he's still busy, but he should be out in -" Just then, the man himself called from within his room, letting Nim know that she could come in now.

"Captain, I think Fel still has to finish serving breakfast," she replied, entering Galeon's room. Since it was so messy, Nimethel figured it wouldn't be too much of a big deal if she brought her meal in. Finding somewhere to sit, the woman rested her plate on her lap and started to tuck in as she waited for Jezebel to attend the meeting.

Scerina

Scerina nodded to her captain's orders, tagging along behind her brother almost immediately. However, Sherbet would glare over his shoulder towards the shorter twin, practically telling her to 'back off'. The blondette grunted, taking a step back as she locked eyes with her sibling for a few short moments. Her eyes told him that she wanted to help, however, he ignored her desires. There was no use in arguing with her brother. He'd either ignore her, or yell. There was no such thing as 'changing Shetbet's choices'.

She watched her brother turn back and make his way to the captain's cabin, sighing as she plopped down on the side of the ship. The young woman was tempted to go pester Fel, however, he must have been nearly done with breakfast. It just wasn't as much fun that way. Speaking of the devil, however, she found that Fel was passing by with a tray of food in his hands. Scerina licked her lips as the scent met her nose, getting back onto her feet as she trotted a few yards behind him.

"Fel!" She exclaimed. "D-D-Do you need a hand...?!" She asked, itching for something to do, anything!

Sherbet

Sherbet crouched down near the loose floorboard, studying it as he mumbled to himself. "Mm... ah, here's the problem..." He mumbled, ripping it out of the ship with his bare hands. He was a strong lad, but it was also a thin board. One of the nails had been rotting from all the erosion from the sea's conditions. A simple problem. He stuck his hand into his pocket, pulling out a case containing bolts, nails, needles, and metal nuts. It was a little carry-on thing that made his work so much easier. However, he never did carry around his tool box, which was also needed for this job. Sherbet let out a aggravated sigh, getting up on his feet to retrieve a hammer from it.

However, before he could leave, Fel came into the scene, along with his twin trailing behind him like a lapdog. He rolled his eyes as he made fun of his name. It was not just the name of a sweet treat, it was an actual name before it was created. That aggravated him the most. As he handed him breakfast, he cleared his throat, suddenly becoming interested to his right shoulder. "... Thank you."

He left his plates behind, however, carried his coffee in one hand as he exited the scene to find his hammer.

The dull, tiresome and perhaps unimpressed expression change little when Gale came to the brilliant realisation that the sensible voices outside of his head were correct in protesting against his initial intentions. However, it went without saying that Jezebel was relieved to see the captain swaying away from exposing himself, and his crew for that matter, to dangers that could easily be averted. With a grateful nod aimed at the navigator and first mate who had so valiantly dissuaded Gale, the woman wondered if this was another sign that the captain was growing distressed. Of what, she couldn't tell, but it wasn't difficult to notice the signs of paranoia and, dare she say, reckless vendetta (although the crew was evidently stockpiled with individuals who were in some way displeased with the Navy).

Jezebel made a mental note to inquire the captain about his mental state once the meeting had concluded.

She quietly lingered around the deck, contemplating her tasks for today before navigating the Trident in search for the captain's cabin, a place she felt she hadn't visited as often as she would like. With a subtle knock on the door, Jezebel opened the door and proceeded to make her way over to the table. Again, without so much as a glance at the other attendants.

Although she may have glazed in the general direction the navigator had seated herself, an individual she found both intriguing and tolerable company.

Dymon sat on the rail, left alone with her thoughts now at Jezebel taking her leave. She wasn't particularly surprised by the Captain's turn around, of course, but the fact that he still wanted to go after random patrol boats apropos of nothing was worrisome. She knew that he cared about the crew quite a lot, but he still needed to be reminded of it from time to time that patrol boats weren't worthy prizes if even a single crew member went down.

Of course, she was certain that she took the loss of life harder than anyone aboard, even if she didn't normally show it. After all, her role on the ship was much different from the captain's; Atop of ensuring that the ship was always on the top of its game, it was her job to ensure that each and every crew member was satisfied with their lot, or at least explain to them why their lot was such as it was. As such, it was essentially a given that she had at least introductory knowledge of every crew member.

She wasn't exactly friends with any but a couple, but she still took losing anyone fairly hard.

"Full sail! I want us there as soon as possible!" she shouts over the deck, to slight resentment. That was fine though, better that they resent her than the captain. Anything to keep him spotless.

Galeon waited in silence, looking at the maps, as he waited for the Doctor to join him and and the navigator. In his gut he found this unknown mark on the map troubling and he felt he should investigate it. But than again he a simple raid on a federation trading ship and reap some quick reward would be good for crew's moral.

A slight knock a came from the door as Miss Leblanc came in. Now that the two people he really felt like talking to were here. Another sigh left his lungs (twice in one day maybe a simple raid would do me some good as well. Finally he looked up at the two. "So after our last raid I picked up these two maps one shows the current trade routes the other patrol routes. But as you can see here." Galeon moved his hand to the unknown mark "The federation is doing something in this area. I would prefer to check this out after we get supplied but I understand this would be a big risk for us. On the other hand there is a route on here that a trading ship takes. If we attack at this point we can avoid any run in with the federation. You two are some of my most trusted crew mates. I'll let you pick which one we take.

Nimethel listened as the captain showed her and Jezebel the maps he had managed to acquire from their last raid on the Federation. It seemed that there were two targets of interest the crew could potentially go after, but choosing to attack one would mean alerting the Federation to their presence. Nim's eyes widened the moment she saw that mark on the map, though. Evidently it had caught her interest.

"Captain, I know I'd rather avoid both targets altogether, but... I feel that we might find something of interest where that mark is. I'll let you make the final decision, but if we do end up going there then I'd suggest we only take a some of the more... discrete members of the crew, preferably under cover of darkness, and see what they're up to." She paused to take another mouthful of fish, washed down with some milk. "Of course, it could turn out to be just a base the Federation uses to co-ordinate their patrols. Either way, there'll be too many for us to handle in a straight fight."

Nimethel then turned to look at Jezebel, taking note of the doctor's usual quietness. "Jezebel, what do you think of this? Anything you want to add?"

A callous glance of amber attentively examined the unfolded sheets before them, thoroughly absorbing every accentuated detail that the doctor felt was of note. Clearly she hadn't nearly a clue what the cryptic scribbles entailed if the captain had not bothered to explain them, maps weren't exactly Jezebel's forte which begged the question why she was asked to attend this meeting to begin with.

Her main concern was that her provisions were running low, and so long as they took stock before diving back into dangerous territory Jezebel was fine with either course. Regardless, she mustered the effort to comprehend each single blot as the captain gestured at various points where they could, or perhaps should, sail.

It was then that her eyes fell on the blazing red dot imprinted on one of the nth identical islands, which caused the ship doctor to shift from her lacklustre pose and lean forward to inspect the island a little closer. Familiarity only one of many emotions boiling under an inward flame of intrigue and excite as she gently nibbled on the side of her thumb, a physical habit the woman believed to induce hyperfocus.

She recognized the island in question to be home to dragons, most fascinating creatures and an exceedingly rare carriage of ingredients that Jezebel could potentially gather there if luck was on her side (non-breathing specimen preferred). Dragon tissue was pricey and difficult to acquire, after all. If the Federation had truly stationed themselves there, however, it had to be involving something big, something worthy to investigate.

Upon the navigator's inquiry Jezebel shot her frosty stare at the beast-woman in question almost instantaneously, allowing it to linger for a solid second before lowering her hand in order to gracefully push her entirety back into the wooden chair. “I concur.” She stated matter of factly, her gaze still fixated on the other woman. “The Federation would not fortify themselves needlessly, nor recklessly.” Jezebel gave the map another piercing glance, as if the reaffirm her of her initial thoughts. “This place has purpose, however large.”
