~Arsonphobia- Fear of fire.
~Asthenophobia- Fear of fainting or weakness.
~Astraphobia or Astrapophobia- Fear of thunder and lightning.
~Atychiphobia- Fear of failure.

Min Seok was a happy and outgoing person before his biological father died in a plane crash when he was three years old, causing his fear of flying, and his mother remarried when he was six years old. His other fears became apparent between the ages of 6 and 8, after his mother had met and married a man who she thought was kind and would be able to take on the role of Min Seok's father properly. During those first two years, he became even more withdrawn and anti-social, spending all of his free time in his room studying or reading. He never told anyone why he had become like that, his mother thinking that it was due to his father's death and that he would just get over it in a few years. He hated going around people since he was scared of them deeming him a failure and worthless to society.

As stated before, Min Seok's biological father died in a plane crash when Min Seok was three years old. When his mother remarried, it was good for the first few months. He had a new father and two new older brothers - one 16 and the other 18. He was happier than he had been the last few years because of his father's death, but he knew that this man wouldn't be able to fully replace his father. His mother was a fashion designer and was beginning to get attention for her work, causing her to be gone for most of the day and to have to leave the country for long trips for fashion shows and the like. His step-father and brothers used this to their advantage. They started to physically and mentally abuse Min Seok, calling him worthless and useless. He was often told that he was a burden to everyone and he would just end up as a failure in life. He tried to prove them wrong by doing well in school and in his violin practices.

When his mother came back from trips or had a day off from work, his step-family would leave him alone. His mother would notice his bruises and scars and question them, only to be told by his step-father that he was getting into fights at school with the other kids. His mother thought that it might be a phase and talked with him about not fighting, but soon gave up after a few months of him still having bruises and scars from new 'fights'. Min Seok never said anything due to constant threats of what his step-family would do to him if he did so. When Min Seok was nine years old, his step-brothers started to sexually abuse him as well as burn his arms, torso, and legs with matches, lighters, the stove, and cigarettes. When he was 16 years old, he finally worked up enough courage to pack a small backpack of belongings and run away from his abusive environment. He took enough money from his mother's purse to get him by until he could get a job, it wasn't like his mother was going to notice that the money was gone anyways, he hadn't taken a lot, only a few thousand, which was like child's money to his mother now.
