Mio Namaikina

Mio glanced up when Kamiya sat beside her for a second. She looked up again when he whistled, and looked over to where he was looking. There. She saw it. A beautiful Kingfisher. She quickly began sketching the bird into her drawing taking advantage of Kamiya holding the bird's attention. It added a great splash of color into the already colorful sketch.

When she finally was satified with her drawing, she looked up at Kamiya and asked, "How did you get the bird's attention so easily? You also managed to keep it from flying away. That's pretty impressive." she noted. She had also noticed that Julian was pretty good with animals as well. She was actually kinda jealous. Mio loved animals, but they never really seemed to love her back. In fact, a lot of them avoided her. She glanced back down at her drawing again and sketched in a few more details before adding, "Which reminds me, just what is your job as my hosts? This owner was pretty vague about what exactly this is all about. It would help if you explained it a bit more."

Julian Le Mort

Julian heard a sharp whistle and turned his attention to the angel. So the pheniox isn't the only bird he affiliates with he thought to himself, truthfully he was quite curious about the bird named Aiko, but he wasn't sure he'd be able to communicate with it. Or even if the bird would want to talk back to him. It seemed quite attached to his friend. Shifting himself into the standing position and placing the white mouse on his shoulder - he'd promised it he would find it some food in the kitchens- he began to walk over to Mio and Kamiya. Upon reaching them he glanced over Mio's shoulder to look at her drawing and to his surprise, he liked it. Julian had never learned to draw and thus found anyone that could quite extrodinary.

"Mio, thats excellant" he exclaimed to her truthfully. "So many colours!". He had caught the end of her question but felt he needed to compliment the lady first. The beauty of the garden thrown from his attention the competition was back in full swing. Now, this was puzzling what to say to her. The playful demon in Julian just wanted to tell her the truth but he suspected it was against the rules. Or was it? He'd never seen a rule book come to think of it. Or would be better to create a story? Yet Julian had always hated telling lies. "Y'know Mio, I'm not quite sure" he answered. "Its my first time doing this, I guess we are supposed to look after you. More importantly, what would you like us to be?" he added thoughtfully.

DJ Woodstock

Woodstock smiled as the yet-to-be-known-as-demon woman pointed out that her angelic counterpart had not said a word. He smiled as he grabbed his tongue between his pointer finger and thumb. Cat got your tongue? He gave a small laugh. He knew that she had she had been interrupted numerous times, and probably was silent to show respect. He personally wasn't a stickler for manners--well, at least, not to the extreme amounts that most people wished for. As long as you respected him for who he was, then he would do the same for you.

He shrugged, standing. Ah, well, it could wait. He was starving...his last meal had been in...what....twenty-four hours. Yikes. He motioned them to follow with as he left. Let's find that kitchen... After the two women exited his room, he closed the door, waited for it to lock automatically, then continued on. It surprisingly didn't take long to find the dining room, the kitchens undoubtably through the next door. He sat down at one of the tables, contemplating what he wanted. He shrugged and leaned back, his body language stating. Surprise me.

Kamiya whistled again, a somewhat different trill. The kingfisher stared at him, before swallowing the fish whole and flying over to land on Kamiya's shoulder. He reached his hand up, lightly brushing the kingfisher's chest. Aiko tilted her head curiously, examining the other colorful bird. She let out a soft croon. The kingfisher replied.

"I don't know," he answered Mio's first question with a slight shrug of his shoulders. "Birds have always liked me."

His ears filled with the noise of bird-talk as the kingfisher and Aiko got more acquainted, Kamiya barely registered Mio's other question. But he was still paying attention to her. As his job as a host...well, he was supposed to make sure his guest was comfortable, was he not? What was their job as her host? What were they here to do? It wasn't really like he could just tell her that they were supernatural beings that were here just to make her fall in love with them...although...if he told her that...Kamiya would bet that she wouldn't believe them.

But then Julian answered, complimenting Mio's drawing first. Kamiya practically bristled, the possessive, territorial side of him showing for a brief instant. Mio was currently talking to him. How dare the demon interrupt? But then again, that was demons for you. No manners whatsoever. "The answer is simple, dear," Kamiya said, his voice betraying none of what he was feeling inside. Really though...if looks could kill....

"We are your hosts. We are here to make you comfortable and help you enjoy your month long stay here. Can't have you getting lonely, now can we?" Kamiya added smoothly, as the kingfisher let out a high trill. Aiko answered, mimicking the trill.

Roland Anthony

Roland and Eurydice walked down to the music room together but by the time they got there no one was around. Roland was slightly dissapointed but this meant that he could be alone with her. Roland watched as Eurydice went to the piano taouching it gently. He could see some emotion in her eyes. She must really love music. He thought to himself.

"Are you hungry at all? You must be tired after your long trip," she pouted playfully, sauntering near him. "I could make you something while you wait to find the others. What do you say?"

Roland shook his head no. "I had a really big lunch, besides I wanted to show you something." He made his way over to the piano board. He wasn't an expert of anything but he knew a few good songs and he was sure he wasn't that rusty. He cracked his knuckles and began playing a classical number he had made up himself letting the music in him translate out onto the keys.

Yukio Miaga

He stood in the doorway, watching his twin play. In his head, he was already imagining a guitar accompaniment that would sound, well, interesting and fun. He sighed before walking into the next room. It was also a music room, though significantly smaller and only had guitar and a small piano. On closer inspection, it was a harpsichord. It's not like he could play properly, he could never really be bothered with the piano, or really any instrument other than the guitar. Hegrabbed the guitar and strummed it, making sure it was nicely tuned and he went back into the room with Akio, strumming the chords softly in the background. He grinned at Mizu. Yes, grinned. Yukio, the boy who smiles quite rarely grinned.
"I have a feeling you can play at least one instrument! C'mon, join us!" he laughed, smiling like an angel. It was the very smile that made him want to never smile again, but playing with other people always lifted his mood.

Zaron Spade

Zaron swam a bit longer before he got hungry actually very hungry. So he decide he make some food actually he decided he make food for everyone including the demons. Zaron went back to his room and change to his usual shirt and pants with crocs, as he headed to the kitchen he noticed another human boy and his host. Not much for paying attention he headed to the kitchen and began to cook. Not sure what everyone liked he decided to make his most basic dishes plus a dessert. Zaron started with desert first he decided to make a simple Cookies and Cream Parfaits that he stuck in freezer to make it real chilled not sure when Mizu and demons would be back. He then moved on to the main course he made Slice Stake with Lemon and Thyme, he plated it and warmed up the oven so he could place the four dishes in to keep the food warm. He then made A Butterfly Pasta Salad (Pasta salad served warm instead of cold.) then he made Mediterranean Succotash. Zaron hoped Mizu liked veggies cause he ate everything just about. He then put everything on the plate still keeping it in the oven for warmth.

He then began to look for a serving tray and a plate cover to keep the food warm. Zaron looked at the time it was getting just a little late so he grabbed the plates and the trays beggining to head upstairs his own plate not covered since he figure he eat sooner than they would. He headed up stairs food on tray including dessert. Once Zaron opened his room he shut the door and headed to Mizu's room. Opening her room he set the food on the table for all three of them his own food in his room. Zaron left a note in the middle where everyone could see including Mizu. On the note it said,

"For Miss Mizu and other hosts.
Please enjoy!

Mizu Touya

"Wai-" Mizu said when Akio linked arms with her and started to drag her to the music room with Yukio close behind. Once they got to the music room, Akio unlinked arms with her and then sat down at the grand piano and started to play. Yukio headed over to the guitars and then picked one and started to play along with Akio. She had to admit, they were both really good, and together, the music they created sounded great. "I have a feeling you can play at least one instrument! C'mon, join us!" Yukio said as he grinned at Mizu. She then looked around for another piano or a cello, but there wasn't one. She would join them, but since Akio was already playing the piano, and her cello was back in her room, there wasn't anything she could play along with. Akio then stopped playing the piano.
"So, do you play any instruments? If so, I'd love to hear you play." Akio said.
"Well... Actually, I do... I play the cello and the piano" Mizu said. "I would play with the two of you guys, but since your already playing the piano-" Mizu said as she gestured towards Akio. "and my cello is back in my room, there's nothing I can play along with."
Right now, it was actually really awkward for Mizu. Usually people wouldn't be so nice to a person they just met. But I guess since they were her host and all, it was probably what they had to do. At the thought of that, she remembered that she was never told what they were supposed to do. Maybe they were supposed to make her trip better? Probably not...
"I could play the piano for you guys," Mizu said. "but we couldn't all play together, unless you play another instrument Akio."

Akio Miaga

Akio almost laughed aside from the fact that he doesn't laugh unless he's alone or with only Yukio. "I can play almost any instrument my dear." He said, standing up and gesturing to the piano, "please play." He said, flashing her a smile that would make most human girls faint.
He walked over and found a violin and held it up, "I am ready when you are, play something and I will play along with you." Akio winked at Mizu and played something fast and hard to follow on the instrument as if to test if it worked and grinned satisfied with the fact that it did. He pointed to her with the bow.
"Don't worry, my brother and I will not judge you, I am sure you can play music almost a beautiful as yourself." He grinned and turned his attention to Yukio.
"Don't you think so, brother?" He asked to his blue haired twin.
He walked over to his brother and pulled him closer over to him and Mizu at the piano and nodded, "now we are all ready."

Mio Namaikina

Mio glanced at Julian and then at Kamiya. They were hiding something. They seemed to be telling the truth about not knowing what to really do, but they weren't telling her everything. She narrowed her eyes a bit, but decided not to pursue it even though she hated it when people lied to her.

She thought about what Kariya had said about her being more comfortable and not let her get lonely. She frowned a bit. Being by herself and lonely is what she'd known her whole life, so the idea that these two would be with her and keep her company was bizarre. "Oh... well.. okay..." It was obvious to anyone who saw her face she was flustered. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the situation. She'd feel more at ease if they did leave her be, but part of her didn't want them to leave. Finally, after a moment, she asked, "Well, just how is it you're going to make me feel more comfortable?"

Mizu Touya

"I can play almost any instrument my dear." Akio said,. "Please play." He then flashed a grin at her as he went to go pick out a violin to play. There it is again! Them being so nice to met, even though we met less than half an hour ago! Mizu thought. They had been nice to her the whole time, and it was really strange for her. What were they trying to do? Was it a whole part of this big host project?
Mizu looked over at the piano keys and then thought for a second. She couldn't remember any of her piano pieces besides Requiem for a Dream, but she didn't feel like playing that right now, and then it was a lower level than what level she was at now. Then, her other piano pieces were back in her room, so she just decided to make something up right while she was playing.
Mizu gently put her fingers on the white and black keys and then started to play something, making it all up as she played. She had done this a low when she was little, but whatever she had played had never really been that good. It would never really be complicated, and was always really easy to play. But whenever she had made something up when she was little, her mother always told her that 'It doesn't matter how complicated it is, it just matters how much feeling you express in it.'

Emerald Xiloscient

Emerald shrugged, and followed him. At least she would get a chance to cook, and that might help her out. Chances were she was going to get stressed over something or other, and cooking helped her to relieve that. She found it odd that the angel had been quiet for so long; why was that, she wondered? Maybe she thought that because he didn't speak, she would keep quiet, too? Or maybe she just was shy, or something. She shrugged it off; it certainly wasn't going to make much of a difference in the long run. How far could keeping quiet all the time get her?

She glanced around the kitchen when they got there, searching to find out where everything was. It would be useful if she knew where everything was, in case she wanted, or needed, to cook at other times. She glanced at him, but he hadn't made any suggestions, and his posture...apparently he was okay with her surprising him. But what would she make? She wasn't even sure what she wanted to cook right then. Something simple...or something that she hadn't made in a while. She paused, then went to search the fridge and freezer; she couldn't make something if she didn't have the ingredients, and she couldn't even teleport herself, like other demons, to get what she needed.

She shrugged as she found some meat. Some quesadilla casserole wouldn't be too bad. She glanced at Woodstock, tilting her head to one side curiously. "There aren't any allergies I need to know about, are there? It would cause problems if there were some ingredient that you were allergic to..." she asked curiously. That much was true; she didn't want to hurt anyone because of an allergic reaction to something she made.

Eurydice

Eurydice eyed Roland suspiciously as he seated himself at the piano. What did the boy think he was doing? If there was only thing that angered Eurydice in this world, it was the blatant abuse of the ear that mortals called music. She supposed this feeling- remind you, not an emotion- stemmed from her passion of music from her mortal years. Even then, she would cringe upon a poorly tuned piano as it was her favorite instrument.

Her thoughts changed completely, however, as he began to play. Eurydice gaped at the music, her eyes carefully following the motions of his hands. She could sense his emotions in the song as if it was a familiar stranger. Unconsciously, Eurydice's body betrayed her as she began to hum along with the foreign tune. Surprisingly, she was able to match it perfectly even with never hearing anything like it before. Even this simple sound of the throat foreshadowed the strength and impossible beauty of her voice.

Eurydice looked to him, for a moment slipping from the cover as Demon of Lust and falling into place as a lost girl with a forgotten name. Without a hidden intention or secret plan, she rested into the seat beside him, hesitantly laying her hands upon the keys to join him. Her breath slowed as she closed her eyes, allowing the music to surround her as she played, magically able to predict the notes he intended to use in a harmonizing duet. All the while she continued to hum.

All at once her sense returned, locking the nameless child back into the darkness of her mind. She blinked, fumbling with the notes as her hands fell to her side. The reason for this was clear: One needed true emotions to play music in this way. It had been many years since she allowed herself to look at, let alone touch, a piano for such reasons. Emotions were for the weak and mortals were no exception. The Demon of Lust had no need for such a display. She was fine as she was, the Princess of Temptations. Emotions had destroyed her life and, if not for her rejection, her mind.

Anger welled inside her for the moment of weakness. It would never, ever, happen again.

Remembering where she was and her cause for being here, Eurydice smiled and turned to Roland. "That was impressive," she said is if she had been expecting nothing of him, ignoring the fact she had joined in the song. She felt repulsed sitting so near the instrument of her past yet her body refused to leave its presence. Silently she cursed at her weakness and then, without hesitation, included Roland. It was his fault. Mortal weakness was contagious. She would need to be better aware next time. Even so, it was her responsibility to have him fall in love with her. She was smart enough to keep her wits and separate herself from the disease before it grew too strong.

Eurydice rose and boredly investigated the other equipment in the room. If one looked closely, they could possible see the dark cloud of her manifesting anger. She did not touch another instrument, although her hand rose to her throat, rubbing slightly as if it burned. At last she turned toward Roland once feeling composed. "Music is said to have great power. It can call to those both willing and unwilling and has been said to tame even the most vicious of beasts. How long have you been playing? I am unfamiliar with the tune you played, did you create it yourself?"

Julian Le Mort

He grinned at the angel, happy to have made some sort of impact on the man. He didn't seem like any fun at all, if the human fell for him she must have a boring sense of humour. The pink he wore appeared to be the only colourful about his personality. Such a bore! Couldn't he have had someone with a little more gusto to compete with? The mouse shifted on his shoulder perking up at the sound of food and he turned his head to it and gave it a smile. He noticed a lovely smell drifting into the garden, coming from the kitchens. Someone with talent had obviously baked something, it made your mouth water just to get a whiff of it. Never one to miss out on a new distraction he turned to Mio.

"Well first of all we have to make sure you don't starve!" he declared. "Would you like to get something to eat? It seems someone has been busy in the kitchen". He was hoping she would say yes, his legs were itching to find the source of that sweet smell.

Kamiya let out a sigh. To the kitchens? Really? To the hot, stuffy place that smelled like an odd mixture between cleaning solution and sweat? No thank you. But really, the decision was up to Mio. The thing about Mio was that Kamiya had not yet quite figured her out. He couldn't predict her moves anymore than he could predict the demon's. Although he bet if he tried, he could predict what the demon would do. He was rather obvious, if Kamiya really thought about it. For one, the demon seemed far more self-centered than anything.

Aiko, sensing the angel's annoyance at the demon, shifted her wings. The sound and the movement grounded Kamiya again, calming him down. Personally, he would prefer to stay out in the gardens. There was a chance that stray oil or whatnot would get on his yukata should they enter the kitchens. But the choice was up to Mio.

"We make sure you lack nothing. Which, I suppose, is pretty impossible considering everything inside this resort." Kamiya said, turning around and opening his arms to indicate the resort behind them. "I hear there's an amazing library."

Kamiya was really mostly focused on figuring things out right now. What would Mio prefer? Which way would she go? To the food or to the books? Was she concerned about the temporary or the permanent?

He didn't look at the demon, instead, deciding to ignore Julian for now. He could gloat and think all he want. The angel had yet to begin playing the game for real.

Mio Namaikina

Mio smelled something absolutely delicious wafting through out the resort. At that moment, her stomach growled. She blushed a little then shrugged at Kamiya. "Sorry... It seems I don't get a choice in the matter, but how about instead of going directly to the kitchen we wait out in one of the eating rooms for the food to be finished. Sound fair?" She suggested. There was obviously a lot of rivalry going on between these two. She could tell that much, but for what reason she was unsure. They were both supposed to make her feel more comfortable, right? It wasn't like it was some sort of contest.

She stood up and put her sketchbook under her arm. "Well, shall we?" she asked. She turned to leave, but stopped for a moment and said to Kamiya. "I promise I will take a look at the library later with you." With that, she began making her way towards the source of the heavenly scent.

Alcina Superbia

The hotel looked shabby. At least it was compared to heaven. Alcina stood outside the front doors of the Akane resort wishing that someone else had received the letter. The human world held no interest for her at all anymore, everything she loved on Earth was destoryed her mas- no not her master, not anymore, by that creature. Even having spent so many years away from the underworld she had hoped she had grown out of that conditioning. She knew it would be many years yet until she properly earned her wings. It was her pride that kept her from achieving those personal goals. Well she'd work on it after she completed her task here she resolved. After all having an air of pride around yourself lets winning take care of itself.

She looked- as she always did- stunning. Her long white hair falling in loose waves down to the small of her back. Her milky skin beautifully contoured by her dark green knee length dress. In her hair was a single red rose which intertwined itself on the left side of her head, standing out magnificently against her locks. Her lips painted the fair roses colour. She looked amazing and she knew it, the confidence wrapped around her aura as she stepped into the hotel quicky finding her room. With one quick glance in the mirror and a ruffle of her hair, Alcina headed to the music room where the receptionist had told her this is where she would find her host. It was easy enough to find as she caught the end of the song. She froze momentarily as her eyes rested on Lust, she knew this girl, so the bastard had got what she wanted. She waited until the girl had regained herself, obviously ditressed about something. But Alcina did not move to help her, she was her competition now, in more ways than one.

"It was beautiful, I'm sure you could even make a demon feel once more with those notes" she finally piped up, sweeping her way into the room and making her way to Roland. "You must be Roland, my name is Alcina and I am your other host. So sorry for my late arrival. I do hope you forgive me" she concluded, giving Roland a heavenly smile.

Julian Le Mort

Happy that he would be able to discover what that mysterious aroma was Julian bounded after Mio, passing her out as he reached the food rooms that lay beside the kitchen. Running into the kitchen he saw that a demon was there with her prey, though hoping not to disturb her he went over to the opposite side of the room and opened the fridge. There he found some food that had been made earlier. Of course his eyes went immediatly to the parfaits in the fridge, although he could smell the steak in the oven he sweet tooth was evetually going to win him over. Grabbing the plate from the fridge he walked back into the dining room placing the dessert on the table. The sweet had been made by a careful hand and he had no doubt that it would be delicious.

Grinning from ear to ear he shouted out gleefully to the two following. "The food is for everyone! It looks amazing!". Julian sat down at the dinner table in the dining room leaving the demon to her human. Hands figeting as he waited for Mio to come in so he could start eating. "It looks like there is enough to feed everyone in there, smells like steak in the oven. Plus someone in there seems to be cooking something yummy!"

DJ Woodstock

Woodstock gave a "pfft" noise of a negatory response as he gave a wave. Nah, no allergies here... He began to whistle as the woman went back into the kitchen. No fancy beats...yet. Just a nice, easy tune of "Stairway to Heaven". Nice, slow simple. As the parts with extra instruments came up, he added in those parts too, seemingly doing what no other mortal mouth could, sounding nearly like the song itself.

But, of course, he got bored with this tune as-was, and so then began to put a heavier beat underneath, cutting the main intro chord and looping, eventually evolving it into a slow, sad, solemn techno-esqe sound...something that seemed seemingly impossible. The beats and noise that came out seemed to almost form a voice of their own, telling a hard, sorrowful tale, yet spoke no words, only sound and music. He had long closed his eyes to the rest of the world absorbed only in the story he told that would always be heard, but never understood. His head bobbed slightly to his own beat as his foot tapped, his hands giving a more physical beat to follow. His mind, well barred before, was slowly lowering its defences as the music took control.

There's a place, this I'm sure;
Where the only allure
Is the feelings of true love and grace...
What is love? I dunno;
but perhaps you you could show
Just a little of love in this place...

Emerald Xiloscient

Emerald nodded at his response and went back to cooking, assuming the angle had little to say to begin with. She shrugged it off; she hated delving into the minds of angels because they often showed the same distaste for demons. As if it was her choice to be a demon and not one of the angels, or even human! She wasn't proud to be a demon, but she would deal with it. Her frustration made her spill a little of one of the spices on the counter. She hesitated, then quickly cleaned it up. She usually never made any sort of mess in the kitchen, unless it was a small spill that was nearly unavoidable.

She shook it off, instead focusing more on the song the human was whistling. Even if he couldn't speak, he certainly sould keep a beat going. As he added more to the song, she had to fight to keep herself from swaying with it; after all, she didn't like making too many messes. After the casserole went into the oven, she crossed her arms, allowing a finger to tap on her arm, tapping to his beat. She wasn't usually fond of music unless there was a voice to it, something she could sing along with, and this was one of those very few exceptions. Or maybe this guy was one of the exceptions. However it worked, listening to that was much better than listening to thoughts, whish she didn't like doing, anywa, unless she thought it was really necessary. She glanced back at him, then chanced a very brief glance at the angel, then back to the oven. She didn't like relying on timers for the food, but her own eyes; she liked to practice cooking by what she could see, rather than by what the timer said.

Roland Anthony

Roland looked solemly at the piano draggin her finger lightly along the keys. When she had joined him an even began to play the same song he had created, he had felt a strong bond with her but just as quickly she had stopped and left his side to wander he music room seemingly avoiding all the other instruments. It's if she had changed in those few moments and had allowed herslef to be happy but she was back to her usual self now. There was no deniying her flesh was tempting and her mind sharp but he always felt that she lacked emotion in the things she said or did. IT wasvery odd but I supposed it was just part of her personalty.

"Music is said to have great power. It can call to those both willing and unwilling and has been said to tame even the most vicious of beasts. How long have you been playing? I am unfamiliar with the tune you played, did you create it yourself?"

Roland shook himself out of his head and looked to where she was. "I did create it. I call it The Rouge. I made it up after reading a particuarlly good book. It inspired me to compose this song and it took me a good month to perfect it." A new woman entered the room, she by passed Eurydice and sat next to him. "You must be Roland, my name is Alcina and I am your other host. So sorry for my late arrival. I do hope you forgive me"

Roland smiled at her. "It's very nice to meet you and don't be concerned about your tardiness, these things happen. And thank you for those kind comments about my music. Have you met Eurydice?" He asked pointing. "She is quite skilled as well, why just a moment ago she was playing my song right along with me."

| kamiya fujime|

The demon was like a child. An overgrown, adult sized child. The way he exclaimed with the discovery of food, the excitement in his eyes when his gaze settled on something that would be devoured in minutes...It spoke volumes to Kamiya.

Leaning against a counter, Kamiya looked around the kitchen. It was just about as bad as he had expected it to be. He could feel the light cloth of his yukata sticking to his skin with the heat in the kitchen. The pots on the stove released vapors of hot water that beaded on his forehead. He wiped the water off in case it was mistaken for sweat. His eyes settled on another demon with her human. Where was that human's angel? He pitied the poor male. She looked like a nutcase.

But then again, all demons looked like nutcases to him.

He wasn't particularly hungry. Angels didn't need human food. The wonders of being a supernatural being, right? Nonetheless, he couldn't help but sample one of the tarts that had been left out to cool. The whipped cream...no doubt it was fresh. The strawberries, although glazed, looked like they had just been picked. Kamiya had to admit that whoever had made this food was a genius, with a lot of talent. He would have to give the chef his compliments when he saw him.

Picking up the tart, he made his way into the main dining room, sitting gracefully down across from Julian. He raised an eyebrow, as the demon practically thrummed in his seat, ready to eat the food he had just gotten. Impatient, Kamiya couldn't help remarking as Aiko flew out of the kitchen, a few sticks of millet in her beak. She had apparently discovered the grain store all by herself. The bird settled down on the middle of the table, throwing her millet down and beginning to peck at the spilled grain.

"So, Julian," he looked up at the demon, a sly smile on his face. "How old are you?"

Mio Namaikina

Mio could barely keep herself from stuffing the food that lay before her on the table down her throat. All of it looked absolutely wonderful. She wanted to just eat every last bite at once, but forced herself to slow down and cut one small piece of steak. The moment the flavor reached her taste buds, she could of died and went to heaven. The food was absolutely amazing. Mio had a huge appreciation for food and always making sure not a single drop was wasted since she was starved by her real parents.

"Wow, this food is great! I've never had food this delicious before! When I was younger, my parents hardly gave me any food to eat, and when they did, it mostly just scraps and garbage, so-" She stopped dead. She had accidently slipped a comment about her past. She never talked about her past. She hardly told anything to her foster parents. So why of all places she said something here? Mio seemed to shrink back as she continued to quietly eat her food, and she didn't meet neither Julian's nor Kamiya's eyes.

Akio Miaga

Akio watched as Mizu's fingers danced across the black and white ivory keys of the piano and a slight smile tugged on his lips. She wasn't better than he, but she was exceptionally good for someone who didn't have forever to learn how to play. When the song was over, he gently took her hand and helped her off of the chair like any gentleman, and then guided her out of the music room.
"Are you coming, Yukio?" He called back to his brother before they disappeared down the hallway. He led her to her room and then let go of her hand.
That is where they found the food. It was wrapped up and would have looked delicious if not for the fact that it just reeked of angel. Akio's grin faded as he looked at the food, "well that was nice of him." He muttered before looking back to Mizu, "If you'll excuse me, I think I'm going back to my room."
With that, the red haired demon glided over to the door with inhuman gracefulness and went to his room.

Julian Le Mort

Julian immediatly tucked into the cookie and cream parfait thanking the person who made this in his head. Whoever did this was almost as good at him at making sweets and indefinatly better at making dinners. The taste of the food exploded in his mouth grabbing his attention vividly. Almost to the point that he didn't hear the angel's question. How old are you?. He looked up to kamiya almost regrettful that the time it took to answer this question was wasted on not eating. Sighing he answered truthfully; "I'm 19" not catching the slyness in the angels tone. "How old are you?" Not really waiting for a reply (frankly he didn't really quite care for the answer) he re-began eating his food as Mio started to sample hers and began to speak quite excitedly.

Ah there we are, there is always a reason he thought. His childish persona seemed to have dissapeared, the food not important as he turned to Mio. His eyes full of questioning, but he knew better than to ask. Humans were such delicate creatures. To push them to hard may cause them to break. At least thats what his books had suggested. "You don't want to talk about it." Not a question, a fact the way she averted her eyes from both of her hosts would be obvious to anyone. "Thats' okay." The -if-you-do-I'm-here- was left unspoken but could be picked up from his tone. It sounded like concern but could Julian ever really feel that for another being? A human? Humans can be so cruel he pondered, not realising the irony of a demon questioning cruelty.
