Within several minutes the bag of chips Ginger was eating was empty, but her hunger still lingered. So after finding some spending cash in her back pocket the hungry blonde made her way downstairs, put the raincoat by the door back on, and stepped outside into the Outer South district. Even though the rainfall had soften dramatically it was still rather empty out.
As she approached the district's small park Ginger would peer across the street at the restaurant signs. "Mexican, or Jamaican? Mexican or......yeah, lets do Jamaican!" she whispered to herself before jogging across the street. As she came across a large puddle she'd rise up ever-so-slightly and air walk over it versus running threw it. Usually she wouldn't use her powers in such minor situations, but there was barely as soul out and the height in which she raised herself off the ground to walk over the puddle was so slight that it could easily go unnoticed by the casual walker-by.

"Oh, a customer - in this weather? Hello!" a middle aged man said in a warm Jamaican accent. "Yeah, my stomach made me come out." Ginger joked, before ordering four spicy beef patties, jerk chicken salad, and ginger beer. "For here or to go?"
Ginger would mull over the question some before finally settling to eat at the restaurant. "Here sounds good, but can I add a slice of rum cake too?"
The man smiled and added the cake to her total, and after she paid for her meal she'd take a seat in the back of the restaurant with her back against the wall so she could have a clear view of the front door.

The comfortably heated restaurant caused Ginger to pull off her raincoat fairly quickly and sling it on a nearby chair - revealing her black flower-patterned tunic dress, which she oddly enough paired with black combat boots with silver buckles.

For some it would have been awkward to sit inside a fairly large restaurant without any other customers, but Ginger enjoyed the peace and quiet, and was perfectly content to listening to the news on a small flat-screen TV several feet away as she pondered over where to pick up the search for her brother tomorrow.

The wait for her food wasn't all that bad, about fifteen minutes or so, and after thanking the waitress Ginger quickly began to dig in.

Chloe smiled up at him brightly as he pat her back. It was clear he wasn't used to the hug, but was making do for her sake. "Like I said, you can stay with me for as long as you need."He told her and she beamed. She was glad not to be alone anymore. She pulled away, not letting his clear discomfort bother her. He looked at her for awhile, seeming to be thinking something about her then turned. You hungry? I was about to go grab some food," He offered, looking over his shoulder at her. Chloe felt a rumble in her belly, she placed a hand there before nodding. "Mhm! I don't remember what food taste like." she said, clearly not hearing the oddness of the statement as she scurried up to him. "Hey, where'd the birdy go?" She asked, looking around seeing a few bird perched on power lines and atop buildings. "I liked the birdy..."

"Trickshot, to Command, the target has made contact with a civilian...Orders?"
Lola said through her comm, as she watched the little girl speak to then proceed to hug a young Asian boy. Her mission was the follow the girl, Chloe. This girl meant a lot to the higher ups. She was 'Special' the said, but that hadn't want the girl dead, atleast not yet, as her powers hadn't surfaced yet, but the higher ups seemed to think this girl's gifts were awfully important, important enough to keep the girl alive for the time being.

"Command to Trickshot, orders are not to approach,"

Lola rolled her eyes. "Really? She thought with a sigh. "So then what the hell am I do out in the rain?" She said, probably breaking protocol but she didn't really care, she hated her time being wasted, especially babysitting.

"We have eyes on the target, regroup with Frost."

Lolly groaned. "Roger that...." she said and closed her eyes. Her skin shifted ad she turned her stealth mode off. This entire time, she was nothing but a reflection, the nanites in her blood having copied the backdrop so that she could follow the little girl without being noticed by a single person.

She'd been doing this for days, now, and the girl had done nothing but walked, and until now, hadn't said a word to anyone or thing. Lolly had to watch the girl fall off of a swing and could do nothing to help it.

Sometimes she really hated her job.
She touched her ear, and switched channels.
"Frost, Do you copy?, whats your 20?"

Jaxon made his way to the Lake District, why? He had no clue, he rarely went here and he felt peaceful when he did. Jaxon did deserve a break didn't he? He just took down a drug lab, single-handedly, in the rain and he only fired one bullet. Not too shabby if you asked him. He could see the lake and while normally its glass like surface looked so serene and quiet the rain made it become somethings else. The uncountable rain drops hit the lake all at varying times causing ripples and creating what looked like pure and utter chaos. The darkened sky didn't help the lake's situation. What normally felt peaceful became something erratic. Jaxon didn't mind, though, the droplets hitting the lake sounded like a symphony to his mind. It soothed him in a way. He just liked rain any way you look at it and he was very grateful that there wasn't a huge thunder storm. That would have taken away the pleasantness and replaced it with tension.

Right now, Jaxon was hungry. His stomach gave him a little growl to remind him that even powered Agents need sustenance. Jaxon actually forgets to eat and if it wasn't for his little assistant growling at him then he might skip meals throughout the day. Kind of like how he skipped lunch. He had an excuse for that though, he was following the lead on the drug lab. His stomach growled again. Jaxon patted his stomach and said out loud,"Patience."

There was a little sushi joint that was located near the harbors of the lake. This lake didn't contain the exotic fish for a Japanese delicacy but the owner figured the customers would like enjoying their fish if they could see water. Which he was entirely correct, the restaurant wasn't huge but it would frequently get packed. Today wasn't one of those days, which Jaxon highly appreciated.

He walked into the restaurant and made eye contact with the owner and nodded his head with a grin as he sat at his normal spot on the bar. Most people would freak out if they noticed a Federal Agent walking into their establishment with a loaded weapon. But Tashi knew Jaxon and considered him a friend. Jaxon was from Indonesia and Tashi from Japan, although they are two very different countries they're still Asian and that was something that Tashi appreciated cause he and Jaxon could relate on that level. Tashi smiled and welcomed his friend with his slight Japanese accent,"Jaxon my friend! I haven't seen you in a few weeks! Want the usual?" As he poured Jaxon a glass of water.

Jaxon sat down and smiled,"Yes Tashi, the usual would be wonderful."

"You got it, Snowflake! Edemame with a Las Vegas roll and a Salmon Sashimi coming right up! I'll get you some Miso soup as well, it'll be good for this weather!"

"Thanks Tash!" Jaxon placed his elbows on the table and cupped his hands together as he looked at the flat screen TV that was behind the bar. There was some news story about something happening in the West District but it seems like its being handled. Must have been the same thing that bugged out Rei. Jaxon looked at the local scenery, it was a tasteful sushi place. It wasn't tacky with its decoration, the owner focused on making his food authentic not the place.

"Frost, Do you copy?, whats your 20?" Lola's voice had entered Jaxon's ear through his ear piece. It didn't sound very urgent but he works with her and considers her a friend so he decided to reply back,"Frost to Trickshot, I'm currently at Tashi's place. Im a bit hungry. Want to join me? I'll buy."

"Frost to Trickshot, I'm currently at Tashi's place. Im a bit hungry. Want to join me? I'll buy." Lola had just reached her bike when she heard Jaxon's reply. She laughed. "You do realize how much I eat right...?" She said as she threw her leg over the seat, and revved up the engine. "Have Tashi order my usual, Kay?" she said before peeling off down the road.

Jaxon was probably the more tolerable part of this job. He was friendly enough, and wasn't a complete perv, which was good, she had had enough of that before the nanties, her former employment had her face to face with men at their worst. Jaxon wasn't bad and he didn't mind paying for her meals, which given her nanties, and how they boosted her metabolism, making her have to eat and eat. She really appreciated that. That and he was friends with Tashi, who owned the best sushi joint in the world as far as Lolly was concerned.

It took her about 20 minutes before she reached Tashi's, and she was sure the whole world heard her baby purr as she roared up. she walked inside with all the confidence of a high paid actress, and gave a smirk when she saw him.
"Sup Bitches." she said as she took a seat, both Jaxon and Tashi would be use to Lolly's special brand of affection and shouldn't take any offense, she was who she was.

The sushi place was warm and inviting, a stark contrast to the gloomy outside. Unfortunately sushi had a tendency to not agree with her stomach in the long run as settled for just ordering some tea and basking in the comforting warmth. Her posture was relaxed as her eyes flickered shut as the warm liquid slid down her throat. The tea was a nice brand of jasmine with a perfect slice of lemon inside the heated drink. This fuzzy feeling made a faint grin appear on her face as she did a bit of people-watching, she wasn't much of a dinner partner. However at the reverent look on Jaxon's face as the man dug into his meal obviously required not a single word to describe it.

This tranquil atmosphere was interrupted by a few vulgar greetings as Lola slinked into the booth. Sliding just a bit further away from the newcomer as her smile faded away. Her hand tightened around her tea just little bit, Lola wasn't exactly her favorite person to even be around. The woman cocky attitude along with a ill-kept mouth just rubbed her the wrong way. As the scent of motor oil and gasoline hit her senses, Rei couldn't help but wrinkle her nose at the offending odor. All Agents knew the deep love that Lola had for that damn bike of hers. Regardless of how well-kept and maintained the vehicle was it still attracted way too much attention when it was revving down the street. Agents of their level should have known by now to keep a low-profile and to not attract attention unless it was required for in combat or emergency situations.

Tapping her fingers against the solid table before her as she inquired teasingly to Jaxon "Really now, you are going to pay for her? Prepare to kiss the contents of your wallet goodbye Jaxon.". Then again the prospect of footing anyone's bill in full was a foreign concept to her as Rei was quite frugal herself. This was reflected in the fact that her rooming situation was chosen to be in a seedy motel on purpose, low-cost and not flashy in the slightest. Anything was better than having to stay in a luxury hotel that began rending a wallet into nothing by the minute. Finishing off the remaining tea in her cup as she asked quietly "So have either of you seen any of our targets tonight?". Time was of the essence given the fact that who knew how long each target would stay in the city before getting wise enough to quickly move on.

Alek didn't laugh at her comment. Alek rarely laughed at anything, really. The only real response he offered the young girl was a glance over his shoulder and a brief, effortless smile. As he turned his head forward once more, his expression hardened, though he was trying not to let the 20+ stares he was receiving from the birds around him. It was almost as if they were warning him; there was no need. Alek was sticking with Chloe for as long as it took for her to find a better place, or better company, and that was that. Bad idea or no, he felt a strong obligation to protect her. So lost was he in his own train of thought that he barely noticed how close she'd gotten to him, so when she spoke his body jolted a little with the shock, though he released no sound and kept his expression passive. He let out a few thoughtful grunts, shrugging his shoulder. "He's over there, with the others," Alek murmured, nodding his head to the right to signal to Tsai.

Continuing onwards, he allowed Tsai to move closer to their location; he circled them both for a moment or two, before settling on Chloe's shoulder. Alek shook his head disapprovingly, but didn't make any move to stop it. If Chloe liked the birdy, she could have the birdy. It was no issue for him. A sudden thought came to him then. Reaching into his pocket, Alek pulled out whatever change he could find, before doing the same for the other three. He figured he had enough to buy them a hot dog each from the nearest vendor. Maybe a can of Coke to share, if he was lucky and the guy was generous with his prices. "You eat meat, right?" he asked, crinkling his nose a little. God how he hoped she was easy to provide for, not one of those 'I'm a vegetarian 'cause cows are pretty' types. "Want a hotdog, eh?" he continued, noticing that they were right on the edge of the Forest District. He could already see a vendor near them. Again, he glanced briefly at her.

A crow circles around and around high above Aleks head. It makes a loud screeching noise at two people in front of you that seemed to be a little to close and dive bombed them then comes back up. It flys down to Alek landing gently on his shoulder. It caws a little then shakes out it's wings. It tugs on your ear gently and urgently wanting you to go left into the forest.

Kennedy

Kennedy woke up once again, but to the sounds of shouting and crashing. She ran out of the store and saw a group of people crowding the convenience store. She managed to see the boy who helped her through the crowd. He held his orange ball and pulled back his arm thrusting it toward something. It just happened to be someone. Kennedy pushed through the crowd of people approaching the front. The man he hit with the ball turned around slowly. "Crap..." Kennedy whispered. The man approached him looking him up and down. Kennedy reconized the man. A hunter. "Well this is just great.." She said. She walked towards the man and pulled her hood up. "Um... do you mind letting me take my friend back please?" Kennedy started. She grunted at the word 'friend'. "He didn't mean to hit you... it was an accident." The man looked at her and walked back towards his battle. Kennedy grabbed the boy's hand and ran off.

When they stopped she pointed at him. "You owe me for that. Got it?"

Ian Briars shot into the air, scarring away all the normal people. He then sent electrical bolts all around the three of them, as if he knew exactly who they were. Well, okay, he did know who they were. The PPA had a file on every possible Power Person, and every known active Powered Person. They were told to memorize all the active ones, and each possible one in their area. So, Agent Briars knew each and every one of those three like the back of his hand.

"Listen kids, we can do this the hard way, which involves shooting you, or the easy way, which involves talking to you in a place where we can get soda and pizza. YOur choice" he told them all, before getting on his radio. "Command, I have confirmed sightings on Devon Blaire, Alexander Volkov, and Kennedy Rodriguez...what do you mean deal with the media?"

Suddenly, every TV that was on in every storefront turned to the news. "This is Helen Macentire from the News Helicopter Stratos 1! We have a battle I am not sure how to describe right now, but more importantly are the three children caught in the middle. While the two others have yet to be identified, one we believe to be the missing student and child Devon Blaire, who's mother was recently murdered and his sister missing as well!"

"Nice try! What do you think I am, stupid?" Devon yelled at him. As a result, Briars shot a bolt of electricity that sent him flying right into the wall next to Alexander.

"Yes. Just like that annoying kid over there who hit me with that ball. But you see, powers don't quite work on me. I have a natural resistance, and occasionally full on immunity, to the powers of others!"

"Well...fuck" Devon mention. He was cursing a lot more in his head.

Alex saw his ball bounce off the mans head, and shoot off t who knows where. The man turned around, fixing him with a nasty glare, Alex smiled nervously, "Um, Hi. Heh, sorry?", just then the girl from before, Kennedy, walked up, and began to pull him backward through the crowd, "Oh gees, hey, can I just thank you now? That could have gotten rough". As they were pushing through people the other boy was slammed into the wall, and the crowd scattered. "Um, hey, Kennedy was it? Can we try to move maybe, I dunno, just a little faster", Alex said looking at the man who raised his hands and shot a burst of electricity in front of the pair. Alex, stopped Kennedy from walking right into an arch of the electricity jumping on the ground.

Alex turned to face the man, "Okay, so I sure as heck don't know you, and my mom told me never to go anywhere with a stranger soooo, the soda and pizza are a no", he said thinking quickly. He might need a weapon, but what could he use? The news chopper circled overhead, and Alex briefly glanced up at it, if his mom was watching, she was going to be scared out of her mind. Alex weighed his options; attack, and most likely be beaten to a pulp, or run, and hopefully find a place to hide. Option two sounded the best in his head so he spoke to Kennedy, "Can you grab that little guy? On the count of three im gonna try to push the big man away so we can book it out of here. Sound good?"

"Sound good?" Alexander finished telling Kennedy his plan. She just nodded and ran over to the boy who seemed to be named Devon once he counted to 3, while Alex, she would call him that since Alexander was too long, ran towards the PPA Agent. "Hey! Devon boy! Follow me! We better hurry if we want to get away." Kennedy grabbed Devon's hand and ran off and looked over at Alex, he seemed to be struggling for the agent was pretty strong. She suddenly stopped and looked for something to knock him out. She found a heavy looking pipe on the ground and focused on it. Her eyes glowed, and a blue aura surrounded the object and her hands. Kennedy then pulled her arm back and thrusted the pipe at the man's head.

"Come on! We've got to go!" She yelled as she and Devon looked for a place to run. Alex sprinted towards them, and they ran as fast as they could from the scene. It seems like Kennedy would be with these two for a while.

In all the chaos, Devon was not quite sure what was going on. Just that he shouldn't be around here any longer. "So, anyone have an ideas where to hide?"

"You think you can get away that easily! Listen kids, everything will be much better if you just come peacefully!" he yelled, shooting electricity in front of them to block their escape. He dodged the incoming pipe using a blast of electricity to knock it off course, before sending out a shockwave right towards them.

"Oh shit" Devon mentioned, until he realized what they were standing on. A giant sewer grate. Which might be bad for them, if he didn't have his own idea. "Everyone, I apologize in advance for the smell" he told them, as he smashed his fists against the grate. A ring a superheated fire surrounded them, causing the part they were standing on to become disconnected, which would cause all three of them to fall into the sewer system, but put them far out of reach from the reach of the PPA agent.

Of course, it would stink like crazy.

After a few bites of her food the owner's wife, a woman by the name of Shawnice, sat down across from Ginger - who smiled at the older woman.
'You know what?" the woman began in a thick Jamaican accent. "You're only the third white person I've seen order those things."
Ginger instantly began to laugh and shook her head in agreement. "I totally beleive that. It's a shame though, these things are so good!"

As the two talked Shawnice's husband would turn the volume on the TV down, bump the restaurant music up, and begin to sing along with the track. A Breaking News banner on the TV caught Ginger's eye for a second but she was quickly pulled back into the conversation she was having.

Nearly fifteen minutes later both the plates in front of her were completely cleared and Ginger would ask Shawnice's husband to turn the music down for a moment so that she could listen to the news.
After a few minutes of the anchors simply talking back and forth about "the incident" downtown in general terms - showing only a couple blurry stills in the midst of their conversation - Ginger would stand up and stretch.
"Thanks but you can turn it off now if you want, I guess they're not going to actually go live to the scene anytime soon, so I'm gonna go home."

Despite being low on funds Ginger would leave a tip for the couple and thanks them both for the great meal before walking back outside.

It had stopped raining on her side of town so Ginger wouldn't bother buttoning up the raincoat or pulling up it's hood, and she'd instead take the long way back to the house via the small park.
She was a night owl at heart and wanted to stay out on this cool Summer night, run through the breeze, and walk on the air inbetween the upper branches of the trees. But she knew better than to be so reckless, and as much as didn't want to admit it staying in this city for too much longer was going to be even more reckless.

-----

Once she arrived back at the cottage Ginger would lock the doors and then quietly make her way into the living room where she'd remove her shoes and lay down underneath a handmade quilt.
She'd turn the television on to a random channel and begin to stare at it, but within several minutes she was out hard.

Alex turned a and sprinted back to Kennedy, and the other kid, but the man shooting electricity out of his hands, quickly stopped him. Electricity sparked, and jumped around the three, and Alex's mind shifted from escape thoughts, to how it was probably bad to have a backpack full of electrical equipment. He turned to face the man, "Dude, your freakin' talking about kidnapping. No way i'm going with you!", he shouted. He was still focused on the man, when the small kid said something, "Apologize for the smell? Hey, I took a shower before I left home dude.", he said, and suddenly fire engulfed the trio, and Alex was falling.

Alex hit his back hard, and water splashed up, and, onto his face. He slowly rolled over to his chest, and stood up, "Bro...if any of my stuff was broken in that fall, I will kill you", he said catching his breath. Alex stood up slowly, and then the smell hit him. His hands flew to his face, and his eyes began to water, "Oh god. Are we in the sewer? Oh my god, ech. Why are we in the sewer?", he moaned trying to shake the water off of himself. He took the small kid by the shoulders, "Please tell me you know a way out of here?", he begged. He really needed to get out of the sewer, to check the items in his backpack for damage, and to get home, so he could wash this revolting smell off.

As the horrific smell filled Kennedy's nose, she quickly turned away nearly barfing. "Oh god that smells horrible." Alex seemed to hate the smell too. "And we're standing filth too! Now my shoes are ruined, and I just got these..." Kennedy crossed her arms. Alex took Devon by the shoulders, "Please tell me you know a way out of here?" Kennedy stomps over to them. The sewer water was pretty hard to walk in. "I second on that. We really need to get out of this place. But first we need to find out where to go. Any ideas?" She put her hands on her hips.

She waited for an answer and thought of one at the same time. The stench got even worse in an instant. "Oh man...." Kennedy held her nose. The smell was giving her a headache, and it is really hard to think that way. "We NEED to leave as soon as we can cause' I can't take this anymore..." It had smelled like year old milk down there. She wanted out as soon as possible.

Jaxon waited patiently for his food as Tashi went straight to work creating his masterpieces. The Japanese chef brought out three bowls of steaming miso soup, he must have heard Jaxon talk to Lola. Tashi placed a bowl in front of Rei and was about to place it in front of Jaxon but then he pulled it back. Jaxon was semi-surprised at this and looked up at his friend, Tash grinned and placed the miso back down onto the bar counter in front of him. Jaxon chuckled and slapped Tashi on his arm,"You're lucky I like you, Otaku!" Tashi laughed and went behind the bar, grabbed a pair of tongs and opened up a steamer to reveal a pile of green. To most people it looked like snow peas or over-sized green beans but to the food connoisseur, like Jaxon, it looked like steamed soybeans. Tashi filled up a small bowl of the delicious Japanese food and sprinkled some Himalayan salt over the top. He placed the edamame and an empty bowl on top of the display over the bar counter and chirped,"Hey snowflake!" Jaxon looked up as he took his first spoonful of the warm soup. He nodded and grabbed both bowls and placed it in-between himself and Rei on the bar counter. Tashi then went to work on the main course.

Jaxon offered to Rei,"Rei-Rei, feel free to have some!" He grabbed a piece of edamame and sucked on the salty exterior while also sucking out the soybeans located inside. They didn't have an in your face kind of flavor but the little green guys still tasted amazing to Jaxon. He place the edamame skin in the empty bowl and went back to work on his soup.

"Sup Bitches."

Jaxon turned his head slightly to see a tanned figure come strutting in as if she owned the place. Jaxon smiled and waved Lola over to the bar and motioned for the seat on his left with the bowl of miso waiting for her. Lola was somewhat of an acquired taste at first but Jaxon liked her. She was a free spirit but she fought for the good in life. That was something that Jaxon could really respect. He greeted her,"So yes Lolly, Ill pay for you but try not to go over 100 again... You're lucky I like your bike. He winked at her then turned his head to the right to look at Rei,"Since I just like you, period, I'll pay for whatever you want as well." Jaxon smiled at the girl. Most guys would have really killed to be sitting in the middle of two beautiful girls, Jaxon appreciated it but he wasn't going to try and mess anything up. Besides, he liked the single life too much.

"Really now, you are going to pay for her? Prepare to kiss the contents of your wallet goodbye Jaxon." Rei teased. Jaxon just chuckled,"That's why she is single!" He looked to his right to see if he got a reaction out of Lolly and laughed again.Rei asked,"So have either of you seen any of our targets tonight?" Jaxon drank down the rest of his soup and wiped his mouth with a napkin. He answered,"Sadly, no. I took down a meth lab but that's about it. We were told to stand down over in that West District and it looks like it escalated. Bad call from the brass if you'd ask me." Jaxon motioned up at the TV screen as images of a fight between a PPA agent and a few kids appeared, he continued,"[b]"But Im just a lowly grunt."

Tashi tapped the top of the display again to show the his latest masterpiece, the salmon sashimi.

"Tashi, you're an artist."

So yes Lolly, Ill pay for you but try not to go over 100 again... You're lucky I like your bike. Jaxon said with a wink after he waved her over, Lolly took a seat beside him. "I make no promises." She said, Her taste buds already prepared for the miso soup that was waiting for her. She snorted as if that was most ridiculous thing she'd ever heard. "Since I just like you, period, I'll pay for whatever you want as well." Jaxon smiled at the other girl.

Lolly really couldn't be bothered with Rei, the girl had a stick the size of Sky Needle shoved up her ass when it came to Lolly, and honestly, she didn't care. Most women didn't like her. Her confidence, made the less confident nervous.
"Really now, you are going to pay for her? Prepare to kiss the contents of your wallet goodbye Jaxon." Rei teased. Lolly sucked her teeth while Jaxon just chuckled, "That's why she is single!" He said, and looked at her. Lolly rolled her eyes. "Please...That's not why and you know it...especially considering, it's not my bike you like, It's watching my ass while I ride it." She told him, with a smirk as she parted her chopsticks, and prepared to eat. "Besides, I'm gonna marry, Tashi, The man's a flippin genius with this right here!" she said, dramatically blowing a kiss to the cook. Rei went on to change the subject.

Typical.

"So have either of you seen any of our targets tonight?" Jaxon answered, while Lolly began her meal. Despite the nanites that coursed through her, making her less and less human every day, Lolly learned enjoy the little things, like the satisfying feel of warm food in her belly after a long night of work in the rain . "Sadly, no. I took down a meth lab but that's about it. We were told to stand down over in that West District and it looks like it escalated. Bad call from the brass if you'd ask me." He said and Lolly frowned. "But Im just a lowly grunt." He said and Lolly snickered. There was a dirty joke just waiting for her just then, but she didn't say it for two reasons, one because she had a mouth full of Miso and two because her eyes had been on the screen.

Why the West District? What were they up to? And Why hadn't they wanted her to take the girl out. Not that she particularly wanted to do that, the kid was like 13, with the mind of an 11 year old, and she was actually dangerous with what they said she could do, so why?

Lolly didn't want to think about that too long, if the nanites began to freak out about it, and start calculating shit, the PPA would know it, they monitored her nanites closely. She wasn't exactly normal. The nanites only took to her because she too was one of them, only she didn't gain any abilities, at least nothing like these kids, but with all that they'd done to her as a child, something she herself couldn't remember, she was able to bond with the nanites, with limited side effects. Limited, not non-existent.

"That's just them being temperamental as always, I did my job, and was done, Go the rest of the night off for my troubles, What about you, Booboo Kitty? Catch any mice?" Lolly said with a grin, specifically to annoy her.

Lolly didn't particularly like anyone, Jaxon was tolerable, most days, Rei and the rest of the world irritated to hell out of her, so, really, she could take it personally, or as playful banter, Lolly really didn't care.

It was also to amuse Jaxon, She knew he got a kick out of their little back and forth, and hell the guy was paying for dinner, he deserved a little something.
