Personality
Marissa is very shy when she first meets people and would rather not meet new people. She isn't one for change but will deal with it if she has to. Once she gets comfortable around new people she opens herself up and becomes more friendly. She's more of a listener than a talker, she's known to be able to keep any secret. Even as a shy girl, Marissa is very hot headed and will get angry over anything if she feels she is being taken advantage of. She may go over board with her anger at times but that rarely happens. Also Marissa loves to read, she gets all of her knowledge from it and would give anything for new books. She has low self esteem which causes her internal conflict.[/font]

History
Marissa learned everything she knows from her grandmother, who raised her. Her parent left her at her grandmothers house and never came back. Her grandmother tought her spells and poisons but Marissa was only good at the spells. She spent most of her life in France until shews about 15. There isn't much else to say, besides being a witch her life was pretty normal.

Adonael stayed facing away from the two, half listening to their conversation. Alistair de Soirs. The vampire's name rang about in Adonael's head. He decided that he needed to cool off for a bit and go for a flight for a short while. He didn't bother speaking to either of the others and spread his wings. He fluffed his raven black feathers and took off into the twilight. It wasn't quite night yet, though it was indeed getting darker.

As Adonael flew, he watched as he exited the perimeter of Shaylee's forest, flying toward a nearby pond. He looked down, noticing a cottage-like house near the pond and what looked like a person sitting upon the cliff adjacent to both the house and the pond. He swooped down near the pond, doing his best to initially stay out of sight, in case the person was a Hunter. When he landed, he folded his wings tightly against his back, the twilight luminescence dim enough to help him hide them. He approached the figure slowly, as to not startle it. It was a girl, seemingly young in age with a young, pretty face. "Hello," he said softly. "Might I ask why you are out here all alone?"

Adonael stared at the girl, getting no response from her. He sighed, wishing that she would answer him, but since she didn't, he decided that she was probably ignoring him on purpose. Suddenly, he heard a strange singing type noise. It was beautiful but still sounded strange in a way. He could hear it clear and plain but was unsure if the girl could. "Do you hear that?" he asked her, assuming he wouldn't get a reply. "I'm going to check it out. Follow if you wish, though I will not force you to." With that, he spread his wings quickly and took off, soaring toward the sound.

High above the ground, he could see almost everything. He could see a small town, a bay, and the rest of the wilderness that stretched out for what seemed like forever. He tuned his hearing into the melodic tune he was searching for and pin pointed it near the bay. He looked down around the wilderness and saw what looked like two people, but they looked odd, covered in a warm, glowing blanket of light. "Shaylee?" he muttered questioningly to himself. He swooped down to the figures, and as he got closer, he could tell who the figures were. "Shaylee," he said, folding his wings against his back after he'd landed. "Can you hear that? That singing sound?" He looked to her for answers, unsure if she could hear it or not.
