When the essences first gained sentience, Gira found himself angered. Maybe it was that he overthought the whole situation, but Gira was mad with the circumstances of his conception. Who would create them just to leave them alone in this cold, dark, infinite plane? Enraged, he tore off into the darkness, determined to find it's end, and snuff out the mind that thought they could do this to them. But Gira never found the edge of the universe, in fact, in terms of relativity, he never travelled very far from his fellow gods. Even more angered, he let out a loud yell, and rushed towards them, and crashed into the plane. It was so powerful, that it released hundreds of thousands of crystals into the void, all rushing outwards. Gira stood atop one, regaining his strength, as well as his patience. He then realized what he had created. Exercising his new power, Gira made the structure grow, and was in awe as he felt the structure rapidly expand underneath him. He began to laugh like a madman as the structure grew ever bigger, ever irregular, and as fractals wove themselves around the structure. Gira's land had been created.

Gira trotted around the landscape he created, in complete and total awe. Minx's light passing through the thousands of prisms, fantastic shapes were cast and reflected throughout the whole mass. But something was not right... all of this, it was too sterile for Gira's liking. Gira bent down and tore a shard of crystal from the ground. He examined it, and then compared it to the crevice in the ground the crystal was once a part of. All of the imperfections he had made, though few, now forever permanent, and yet so fitting. He tossed the crystal around in his thick-digited hand for a while, and then looked far, into the horizon. There stood a large mass of crystal resting on the horizon (one not of this position in time and space could say it was like a large mountain). Gira glanced at the crystal, then gave it a powerful chuck. The crystal flew from his hand, and off towards the mountain. Gira remained there, frozen in the same post-throw pose. Then, the large crystal on the horizon shattered, and collapsed, and crashed to the ground. As the sound finally reached Gira, he came out of his frozen stance, and marvelled at the work he did. Everything he destroyed, would never be the same. It was overwhelming, the sense that he alone had the power to destroy, simply because he was. Gira desired more.
Gira would then go on to carve out canyons, crevices, and craters on this giant mass of crystal he had created. His mighty laughter would echo throughout the cosmos as he hysterically threw, smashed, grew, and shrunk all of the crystals he had formed. Gira was having the time of his life, all aboard this lone island of crystal, floating in the middle of dead space.

The phantom God twisted in the void, reaching out his arms and brushing aside crystals around him, he noticed that only if he moved quickly that he could interact with the material world, though it seemed the larger crystals took even greater effort than it seemed to take the other Gods, a glimpse through the folds of time showed him the destructive power of the Crystal God, turning and twisting in void he drifted towards the colossal crystal that dominated the void.

He drifted through the beams of light, reflected and refracted through the crystalline landscape, floating close to the ground he caught the reflection of himself, drifting back to get a full look of himself, tilting his head in thought and looking closer, the dark wraith-like form pleased him, the formless nature of his figure worked well for him and he wondered if he had designed it for that purpose. Whilst looking into his reflection he saw the form of a crystal shard hurtling towards him, raising a hand and drifting backwards he unleashed a burst of primal energy towards the deadly crystal, in midair the primal energy coalesced, forming into a large quantity of gems, crashing into the crystal and shattering off chunks of it, the chunks collided in midair and pushed the larger of the crystals off of its path and it crashed down beside him, he looked at the crystal and back along its flight path and decided to follow it to find where it came from.

Skirting the ground ground the dark God crested a ridge and sighted down in the valley, the Crystal God, Gira, clearly in his element and judging by his laughter also enjoying it greatly. After pausing for a moment in thought he decided to actually go and interact with his sibling, passing through the beams of light and dodging the skittering crystals to rise up in front of his fellow God.
"Greetings brother." He began in his fell, rasping voice. "I am Hemtyx, God of Primal Energy."

Gira stopped his destructive spree, lowering a towering sapphire to the ground. He was confused by Hemtyx's presence, even moreso the fact that they were related, but then he remembered he was an 8 foot tall sentient being with ethereal power made out of crystal that was created out of nowhere. So he humored Hemtyx.
"Greetings, brother. It is a pleasure to finally see another relative in the flesh." he said in his low, gravelly voice. "Welcome to my land, beautiful, isn't it?" Gira remarked.
Ending that sentence, Gira looked to the vast land he had been responsible for. Massive, glimmering canyons and valleys dotted the island of glass. Shards of broken crystals and gemstones decorated the landscape. The dozens of imperfections just making the glimmer of the lights shine ever more radiantly. Gira looked up to the dark, empty void. If he had a normal face exposed, he would have frowned.

The Gods Gira and Hemtyx are so utterly different that if they were not deities that an ecounter between the two would have been almost comical, bright shining hulking mass that was the crystalline Gira near enough dwarfed the shadowy and phantasm that was Hemtyx, even the simple fact that one was bound by the material and one was immaterial only helped to show just how contrasting these Gods are.

Taking a look around the land of crystal and light, taking in for the first time how much damage the crystal God must surely have done to warp it into such features and bizarre cuts in the landscape. The destruction around him shocked him to his core and disgusted him that a God could wreak such devastation on his own world.
"I love it, brother." He replied honestly. "It is a true testament to your physical strength, an ability I am sorely lacking in."

Bored bored bored. The only thing which made Montayzuomah jealous of the other gods was his own powers. Not ever could he gain the power to create such amazing structures or buildings, only change the instinct of lesser beings. Although, it was also possible to change his size, but that didn't seem too useful. All that could he could really do is test if his powers worked on these other beings... Which would be quite interesting.

And so, Montayzuomah headed off towards the crystalline planet, approaching the dark being and the crystal being. It's funny, they were like complete opposites of each other. "Hey you two~!" He called out to the beings as he floated down, sitting cross legged on a stray crystal as it floated towards the beings. "I got some news for you guys which can... compromise... your fun~."
He gave a little hop, allowing him to leave the stray crystal and float in front of the two being, still cross legged.

As the Great Eagle was flying throughout the void, he spotted quite the peculiar sight. Kernaz followed the trail of crystals to its source, where he found several other beings lurking near an island. Saddened by the sight of a practically broken world, Kernaz found his new ability: several rocks suddenly appeared in front of him, colliding together to form quite the big meteorite. The Eagle flung it around the universe, careful not to hit anyone, and started chipping some lone crystals. From these lone crystals, the meteorite was soon imbued with many beautiful gems that hid deep beneath its surface. The Great Eagle never made contact with the other gods, until he found Sylva. Kernaz was simply amazed, and quickly made contact.

"Your creations are interesting, creature," He announced at first, landing upon the wooden dome that Sylva had created. Kernaz came with the dome of rock that he created, which was floating above his head without movement. "And I believe that this creation can be used for good. Oh, for the realm of this crystalline god is broken and ugly, no match for your creations nor mine." The Eagle spoke with a calm voice, inching around with his feet. "I will throw this rock at his domain, for it to absorb the crystals and bloom into something more beautiful.. something better. This lord, it seems, does not know the true beauty of things. And so, I request of you to bless this rock with your creations. I do not seek to harm this god, but merely to improve his vision of things." Kernaz nods a few times, spinning the rock above him.

Gira still stared at the sky, distant. He looked back towards Hemtyx. The crystals armoring his body let off a low glimmer, contrasting against the raging lights, full of passion, that once irradiated from him. He furrowed his square brows, and turned towards Hemtyx.
"The sky, it's so dark... it feels empty. Here I am, standing next to one of my own kin, and yet I look up, and I know nothing anymore. I am filled with a sense of neither meaning nor lack of. There are things out there, we know. My crystals, our kin, maybe even their creations, but how would we know that if we have no guides? Something to remind us that there's something beyond all of us, something that renders us insignificant... but what?"
Gira stared deeper into the infinite expanse. His deep thought was suddenly interrupted by an odd being, who they would soon learn was the god Montayzuomah.
"Hey you two~!" He called out to the beings as he floated down, sitting cross legged on a stray crystal as it floated towards the beings. "I got some news for you guys which can... compromise... your fun~." He gave a little hop, allowing him to leave the stray crystal and float in front of the two being, still cross legged.
Gira angled himself towards Montayzuomah, clearly confused. But as the God of Suffering spoke, Gira went into his distant state again, staring off into the infinity, for something had caught his eyes.

She laid back unto her bed as she though over the many ideas of what to create. She eventually came upon and idea and on one side of the room she made it. It was as a pillar would be but with many branches, centered more on the top, covered with green leaves. The top of this she added to the roof. She began thinking of what she would make next and her thought process went undisturbed until the arrival of one of the others, a winged being who she had not seen before. Walking over she looked at him and listened to what he had to say. His plan did have some warrant, and the material of his sphere might be just what she needed for her own creations.
Smiling at him she floated out of the dome and landed on it's top in front of him, preferring to speak face to face instead of through the dome holes. "I must say that I like your plan winged one. It sounds intriguing, and it might be what my own creation needs. I agree to your plan, though I will need to think of something, otherwise the collision might cause damage to my own creations." Going back inside she took the what she decided to call a tree, and getting an idea, she folded it in upon itself until it was not more than a small oval and recreated the process over and over. When she came back out to Kernaz she took her dozens of seeds and shot them into the meteor. "There, now they should survive the collision and begin to grow once I put a little of my power into them." she said smiling at Kernaz. "The crystal one surely will not be happy about this, but hopefully it will help him see what our creations could make together. By the way," she said sitting cross-legged, "I have named myself Sylva, I think it would be easier then calling me creature."

The Fire darted towards the Disagreement. As it grew closer, it saw the landscape of crystal and shards and rebellion, a shining beacon of change among the dismal Void. Soon, the Fire arrived at the island, seeing the Giant convening with a number of the Others. The Fire spoke.

"I greet you. I am..." The Fire realised it did not have a name. It pondered this fact for a few moments before speaking, "Selshek." The Fire liked its new name.

Seeming pleased, Kernaz left without a word. He carried the boulder upon his back, leading it towards the island of crystal that he had spotted before. The Great Eagle was quite near to Gira now, but he sat upon his boulder and watched. He watched simply for however amount of time was needed, before the Eagle left. Kernaz left and the boulder stayed, just floating. However, before any measures could be taken to examine it, the boulder launched itself onto the crystal island who Gira called 'beautiful'. It had immense speed and size also, just enough to break the crystal isle. Kernaz himself, however, was gone: he had went back to Sylva's dome to hide from the Crystal god's fury, and consult with the nature god. "I am Kernaz," He finally replied, before entering the dome carefully. "You may call me the Eagle also."

Montayzuomah wasn't that pleased of this crystalline fellow's actions, he was simply being ignored... "Oi..." He spoke out to the crystal, floating around to obstruct his vision. "This guy wants to throw a rock into your crystal world and destroy. Apparently he hates it. And this other guy has created large systems where he plans to take over the void, do you want to become like those lesser beings and bow to that baddie? Or do you wanna stop all this crap from happening?" Montayzuomah explained, hoping to grab the crystalline god's attention and hopefully start causing some conflict.

"I think you should destroy that big roc-" Suddenly the rock had smashed into the crystal island, destroying it, along with throwing Montayzuomah off into the distance.

"Shit." He hissed as he zeroed his velocity, looking back at the destruction. "Ahhhh he isn't gonna like this~" He was smiling under his mask, waiting to see the conflict begin before he could intervene. "Who's next?"

Gira snapped out of his trance, having been staring at Appartos' cog and gear forge now in orbit around the glass island. He turned to Montayzuomah. He listened to Montayzuomah's tale of how the "guy" wanted to "throw a rock into your crystal" and "destroy". Realizing this attempt at manipulation, Gira was about to outburst, but before he even formed a single consonant, a giant rock, embedded with crystals and gems, smashed into the island. Gira was thrown away by the sheer force of the impact, and and loud shriek echoed throughout the cosmos as the millions of crystals shattered and smashed. Gira was thrown away, launched into the void. The island cracked and shattered, until it was nothing but trillions of shards of glass, all floating around a single boulder. Gira regained his footing atop another shard, and stood there, staring at his destroyed world.

Though Kernaz expected the god to rage and go into a fury, Gira was awestruck. Not only was he a lover of imperfection, but he finally had the answer to his conundrum he had spoke to Hemtyx of. He stood there, his nonexistent jaw dropped.

As the isle was destroyed, Kernaz peeked outside to see the aftermath. Although he was angered at first, the Eagle flew towards Gira. He landed with a heavy thud upon one of the crystals, not saying anything for a few moments. "Creature," He said, staring Gira down. "You seem to be even more amazed with what I have done. It seems that, after all, I have done you a favour." Kernaz paces around the huge boulder, before raising his voice. "Now that I have done you a favour, you owe me one as well. I wish for you to transport all of your crystals inside of this boulder: for if you do, it will have the same kind of beauty to you and yet it will please others as well." Kernaz opened up the boulder in half, extracting from its core a huge white rock. This rock is lit up by a natural white glow, although it is not very strong. The Great Eagle flings towards space, though it soon stops at a far-away distance. Kernaz waits for Gira in expectance for a few moments, before commanding once again. "You shall have your own realm inside this rock. Do anything you want with it, but do not disturb the surface. Your crystals should be transported inside as well, for it is imperfection that you crave after all. Once again, a favour for a favour."

Sylva smiled as the large rock crushed the smaller island. "Now Kernaz for my side of things." She then formed a glowing ball of her energy in her right hand and tossed it at the rock. When it hit a short blast of green light would move over the rock and dissipate. Left behind the blast though, was growth. After it passed by, the tons of seeds Sylva shot into the rock began to grow. The first to grow was grass which covered the ground with a verdant green color. Next came the tree's growing to a height taller even than most of the known immortals. In one part of the new planet though, formed a tree taller than all others which dominated the trees directly around it, it was the tree she had first created which had bloomed bigger than any of the others with her added power, shards of crystal poked out in places throughout it as it pulled some into it's growth and caught others as they floated.

Sylva smiled at this creation with a glint in her eye and said to Kernaz, "The combination of our creations truly is beautiful." she went inside the dome and sat at her window chair. With that, the dome moved towards the planet and when it neared, landed atop Sylva's first tree and merged with the top, the leaves of the tree covering the dome and yet leaving the viewpoint clear and the door was turned into wall as a natural set of stairs were brought in existence, a new entry forming at the base of a tree. "Oh, and just for Kernaz." she said opening a hole in the top big enough for him to go in and out of. With that she stood and headed for her bed, while she had done all of this her other half began to grumble inside her again, impatient and wanting to explore it's surroundings. She sat on the bed and put a hand to her head as she started to try and hold her other half off.

Gira stepped back from Kernaz, aghast at what he had just proposed. Arrogantly as ever, he stood forward, pushing towards Kernaz with his chest. He raised his voice and spoke to the god of earth. "I am no fool, Kernaz. I refuse to become a prisoner while whoever dwells on this drek enjoys their freedom above my very head! You have done me a great service, you have allowed me to pursue my new passion, my new calling in life, and for that I thank you. Aside from that, I can spend an eternity rebuilding what you have destroyed, starting anew." Gira said, calming down. "But for now, I will be gone. I must complete the first of many tasks, and for this, you will thank me." Gira said. With that, the crystal they stood atop broke into two, the one with Kernaz slowly drifting away. Gira stood atop the other one, fashioning it into something that looked deserved to be rode upon. Gira furrowed his brow, then pointed to the forge of Appartos. "I will return once that machination makes several revolutions around your rock. When I return, I will gladly retake what was and still will be rightfully mine. But until then, enjoy yourself. Don't let anything happen to this world. The horned one (Montayzuomah) spoke of how there was already misconduct in our infinite realm, and now your actions have made me realize this to be true." Gira said, and with that, he sped off into the cosmic expanse atop his crystal, never to return for several moons...

------

Gira had been searching the empty universe for the equivalent of days until he found Minx, the goddess of light. Gira came down to Minx' level, and greeted her. "Greetings, light goddess".

As Selshek darted in the direction of the Others, something caught their eye. Off in the distance was a large orb, radiating light throughout the Void. Selshek looked at themselves. Light emanated from their body, a cackling spectrum of red, orange, and yellow. They looked again at the orb, then again at themselves. This orb must be the Spark that they had seen what seemed like millennia ago. Selshek burned towards the Spark.

Selshek approached the orb, their low fire-light dim in the radiance of the Spark. "Greetings, fellow Spark," Selshek began. "You and I are one and the same," they said, motioning towards their shared glow.

As Selshek was speaking, they noticed the Giant approaching on a shard of the Disagreement. Selshek was intrigued by the Giant, as the first being they knew of to rebel against the stagnant Void.

"Greetings to you, as well, Giant-of-the-Disagreement!" Selshek shouted, their flames growing brighter as they spoke.

"Yes, I am looking for you. You visited my island not too long ago, and brought light to our darkened world. Now, I have a proposition that you won't want to reject." Selshek liked the way the Giant was speaking. The Giant sounded as if it was planning something new and different for the Void. The prospect of something wholly new to this universe excited the Fire, causing them to burn brighter and larger. Selshek's eyes dart back and forth between the Giant and the Spark.

They turned to the Giant. "I would like to hear what the Giant has to say." Selshek then glanced at the Spark, "Our affairs should wait, fellow Spark. The Giant's proposal sounds interesting."

Gira, pleased, tilted their head upwards, and began explaining himself. "My friends... As you know, in our short time being... HERE, and I mean actually BEING here, we have already built wonders. To top them all off, I had built my island of glass, and I had spent my time shaping it, molding it, attending to it." Gira looked at Minx fondly. "You have bestowed upon us the gift of light, and made my world more beautiful, the whole universe rendered a fine majesty! But something felt wrong, for whenever I looked to the heavens, I felt insignificant. Not that the sheer size of the universe was overwhelming, but that I, us, everything that has ever lived and died to this point, has NOT been overwhelmed by it all. We all have no means of knowing that we are not alone, and that, is a recipe for disaster by itself." Gira spoke with great boldness, and looked down to the crystal he stood upon. "I spoke of this to another fellow ethereal, but before I finished, a mighty boulder, created by Kernaz, smashed my island into trillions of shards. As I floated away, I got my answer. For I was floating in a field of billions of shimmering lights, remnants of my world. It was then, I knew where I was, I knew where my island was, I knew where it once stood, and I will never forget. I remembered the crystals I had released in my first fury. They have served to this point as a guide, for all of us." Gira said. "Minx. My proposal is that we spread this manifest across the cosmos. Imagine looking in every direction, and seeing countless diamonds, irradiating light to guide even the most lost of souls." Gira concluded. Before he could elaborate and describe more, he twitched his head to the cosmos. A monstrous cry echoed throughout the cosmic expanse.

Kernaz shook his head at Montayzuomah. "I do not care, creature. The followers will come, eventually. They will be made." Kernaz looked up at the clockwork machine above his head, which orbited around the 'planet'."Creature, I suggest that you stay here. Do not let this other one destroy the planet." With a nod, Kernaz flew off. After he was a decent distance away, he created a layer of rock around the planet and Montayzuomah as well, to shield his creation from any attacks. The Eagle flew until he reached Minx, Gira, and Selshek. "You are here then. Very good." Kernaz created a small disk of rock under him, and landed upon it. He simply observed for a few moments, before turning his head to Gira with a frown. "It seems that we both request things of the light-makers then, hm? Very well."
