The Infinity Realm

The Infinity Realm

"Infinity", untouched by humans, was once a beautiful place. The spirits and creatures that lied within were once at peace, that is, before a gateway had opened up. That gateway, leading to the creation of Seven Deadly Sins. [More Inside]

Introduction

.:Infinity:.

Image

We once believed,
that to be infinite,
we had to betray those we loved...

To sell our souls,
in the hope of something greater than this...

This trivial thing of immortality,
it had turned us bitter,
hateful.

No longer do we remember our mortal days,
so I suppose it is all up to you now,
isn't it...

'Human'

.:Listen - Well:.

Four, poor unfortunate souls of mortals, pulled into a world of surprising beauty, and the odd and intriguing characters within it. Together, they had once viewed each other as all they'd ever need. Not one of them knew, however, how the beauty would slowly cause them to lose themselves within it. It would make them crave to stay there forever, making a deal with the devil, as some would say. In turn for their friendship, their mortal memories, they would stay in the " Infinity " realm.

Soon, as the years began to pass, those four friends, each had regretted what they had done, all of them turning bitter and hateful towards the mortals that would stumble there. They had turned into the four of the deadly sins, some had their eyes shift in color, others had their whole being changed. They no longer remembered each other as the close friends their mortal pasts were, but still... It was if fate had pulled all of them together once more.

A thousand or so years later, the four had joined together, viewing each other as siblings as they had embodied a type of evil. Times we're changing in the "Infinity " realm, and quickly. The four sins together had decided to 'take over' parts of the realm, though by no means were they capable of fighting their way to the top. Without their remaining "family members" they were weak. Weaker then they would be together. They settled to rule only four parts of the world, living together within the heart of the world.

Of course, the humans came and went, some becoming apart of that 'family'...

In the end, the Seven Deadly Sins ruled the "Infinity ".

.:The - Prophesy :.
Image

The prophesy, for told not long after the final sin came to the world, is that of the virtues. The virtues, stumbling into the realm of newly founded chaos would
"PURIFY" the demons. The virtues, would reverse the 'curse', or thereby risk themselves of falling into the darkness. The entire book, stating the prophesy, is torn and scattered, certain pages winding in the hands of civilians to be sold, put on display, or perhaps even one of the sins. Only three out of all one-hundred and fifty are truly needed, however...

One page though that is the known by everyone in the realm rather well, mentions the reason behind the mortal souls that wonder through the gateways connecting Earth to "Infinity ". That reason being a plea, or cry in desperation for something... more. The humans are known as 'lost souls' because of this.

[The virtues could very well have the same reason for having found the gateway, or you can PM me and we can discuss an alternative! Don't be afraid, I don't bite!]

.:RULES:.

If you have questions, please feel free to ask, first of all! I'd like to just mention this is my first time setting up a roleplay, so things may seem a bit scatter brained!

I would like active, and participating members, not to mention semi-literate. I'm not expecting a book, but let's go for about... 400-500 words, okay? ^^ If you're going to be gone for awhile though, please do PM me so I can escort your character out safely and easily so you're character can jump back in!

No god-modding! Please do not kill someone else's character unless they give you permission!

When it comes to romance, it is highly encouraged, and so is drama (outside of OOC unless it's playful!). Please though, don't blind us with detailed posts, you either fade to black or take it somewhere else, okay?

Reservations last 48 hours (two days) before I need the character submitted as a W.I.P or complete. If W.I.P, I may be a bit of a nag but I would like to have them done within three-four days of them being submitted. I will send out PMS the day before they are do to remind everyone to finish them unless given a proper reason why.

I'd like a set, anime FC and not random pictures online, okay? If you have trouble finding a FC, let me know and I will gladly try to help!^^

If you've read all this, then when you do reserve, the password is to answer this, how many pages out of [blank] are especially useful from the prophesy?

Location: Underground the Graveyard of Fear
Time of Day: Morning (5:25 A.M.)
Three hours prior to the Gateway opening

"Almost show time~!" Whisper purred out, opening a rather small coffin that laid on a rotten wood table, a satin white sheet covering it just to keep the coffin 'safe'. He had periodically dug this coffin up throughout the years, almost as if he could never part with it. Whisper's smirk was ear to ear at this point as he stroked a large orb, it's insides nothing put pure black. A void of pure nothingness. His mission, his plan, was finally coming together perfectly. After thousands, millions of years, finally he had found the perfect subjects to bring to "Infinity". Ones that, no matter what they did, would eventually aid him in hi venture to gather all one-hundred and fifty pages. No matter if three were the only ones needed, his master desired all of them.

Whisper, since the moment the original four friends had even stepped foot in the realm, had always been watching. Always observing them for the slightest of flaws, cracks, as one would say. He needed ways to hit home, to make them stay. He found those ways, and within only about maybe a million or so years, maybe even less, all seven sins had finally gathered. Now the real show would begin.

As for the virtues, well, he had no apparent control over them. He simply was making an educated guess that they would just so happen to show up within three hours from now. Then, his beloved "puppets" would do his dirty work for him, with a little persuasion that those tiny, pathetic virtues would be their ultimate downfall without all the pages.

Oh how devious! Yes, absolutely devious! Once that was done, all he would have to do would b-

Crap, where had he put those papers? He needed to send those papers off to each one of the sins!... And Kouji. He couldn't forget Kouji. "Goddamn it..." Whisper hissed, gathering the papers he had put together about each Virtue, mainly just describing where each virtue would be located once the gateway would open. What they chose to do within the next hours or so would be up to them. Knowing Kouji, he'd mostly be on top of things, try and locate the largest group of his fellow 'comrades'... But wouldn't that ruin the fun of this all? Scribbling one more thing down on Kouji's paper he'd be receiving, it would direct him to the Ocean District. Now he was having fun. He grinned as he began rolling each separate piece of paper into a neat looking scroll, tied with a ribbon.

Chuckling, Whisper tightly gripped each copy, he climbed the wooden ladder, pushing the tombstone that hide the entrance to his lair aside, climbing out as he pushed it back into place, sealing that entrance. Without even a word, there were eight crows in front of him, each one in a matter of minutes having the ribbon tied around their necks and taking off to their designed targets.

Samael

Image

Location: Wrath's tower, The forest Sector.
Time of day: 6 A.M.

Samael awoke to the sound of tapping at his window, judging by the reverberations and repetition of said tapping, it was likely some kind of bird. Well, this and the fact that his bedroom was on the 16th floor of his tower. With an angry mutter, Samael threw back his sheets and made his way to the window, navigating the rooms with complete familiarity. After reaching the window, Samael unlatched it, opened it wide and caught the infernal creature. It squawked madly, but needed only a few gently strokes on its head to calm it. Samael frowned, feeling something odd about the creature's neck. A ribbon and a small piece of paper. Curiously, Samael pulled the paper out from the ribbon and unrolled it. Much to his displeasure, he smelled ink on the paper, meaning that the note was written with a pen rather than in brail. It was going to take a while to figure out what it said. With a growl, Samael pulled up a chair and plunked himself into it, slowly running his fingers across the page, the bird simply watching from its perch in the window.

After nearly thirty minutes of agonizing "reading", he finally had a rough idea of what the note said. The Gateway would open today, and soon. Not only that, but the Virtue of Temperance would be here, in his forest. "Well that just wasn't fucking acceptable!" screamed Wrath, throwing his chair across the room and listening to it shatter into a thousand splinters against the far wall. He had to act quickly, but certainly not on an empty stomach. He quickly groomed himself to the best of his abilities and got dressed before cooking up a quick meal of fried eggs and sausage, devouring it with greater haste.

He stood up from his meal and barged towards the door, the bird flying out his window in fear. Samael descended his tower via a rather new invention, the elevator, and was out in his woods by 8 A.M., patrolling the trees for the smell of this Virtue.

Ellie woke up with a start pushing her sweat matted hair from her brow. Gingerly she looked over at the clock "Before the sun?" She groaned to herself before laying her head against her pillow staring at the ceiling her thoughts racing faster then she could keep up with, with a heavy sigh she got herself up out of bed.

She made her way to the bathroom turning on the water for the shower, ahe took another deep breath looking at herself in the mirror, "If I stay I know I will lose myself...but going...that could very well do the same thing can't it." She got in and took her shower getting herself dressed opting for jeans, long sleeve tee shirt, and a pair of boots. She tossed her hair into a messy pony tail as she made her way to her kitchen. "I'd rather try to do something the wait for myself to snap, losing myself would be worse then anything this new world can do..I hope." She made herself a simple breakfast glancing up at the clock as it rolled over to eight.

She stood at the gateway looking over her shoulder at the world she was leaving, "I can do this." She thought to herself as she took a deep breath, slinging her messenger bag over her shoulder and walking through the gateway.

Location: The forest Sector
Time of day: 8:25 A.M.

Ellie shielded her eyes as she stepped through not sure what lay on the other side for her. Her hand quickly went to her mouth as the forest came into focus for her. She smiled looking up at the giant trees running her hands gently down the trunk feeling the kitten soft moss growing along it. She had always loved the outdoors and camping being around nature calmed her more then anywhere else. She found her way to the path the forest creatures used to move deeper into the woods. After a little while of walking Ellie found a fallen tree that made a perfect seat to stop and enjoy the view around her. She pulled out her sketch book wanting to remember the way the place looked to her in that moment knowing it might not be remembered the forest same way after time passed.

Freya

Image

Location: Business/residential
Time: 7:30AM
_______

'Mornings suck' was all Freya could think as she sat at her desk looking over papers for the days tasks. This person needs supplies from another region, that place needs a permit to build a new home. There was a few requests for marriage and Freya wasn't sure why in the name of all the sins they needed to ask HER to allow them to be married. She was going to deny them just because they asked. Served them right for wasting time sending in a pointless request. She could not care less who married who.

TAP TAP TAP

Sighing and putting down her stack of papers Freya glanced at her window. A bird. Great. She stood and allowed the creature to stick it's head in through the window. Of course it had a message on it and Freya prayed to whatever powers there were that it wasn't from Whisper.

Her title should have been "The Sin of Bad Luck" because sure enough it was a message from dear Whisper.

Hey! I thought you should know, but the Gateway is going to be opening soon. The rest of the virtues are coming. Perhaps, you would like their locations listed below? Good luck finding them before the others! Oh, and I'll send the virtue that has been right under your nose the entire time to one of you as well.

"Great. Just freaking great." Freya sighed again and contemplated replying to him telling him exactly where he could shove these virtues. Unfortunately, it seemed that her deal required her to participate in whatever the 'man' was planning. Plus if she didn't at least try to gather up the virtues than the other sins would probably be disappointed in her and cause a fuss and it would make her seem like this huge failure and -- She took a deep breath and glared at the bird. "Go home." The thing cawed once before taking off.

The other things would have to wait. She got dressed and prepared to face the day with a blank expression. She left the room wondering how the hell she was going to figure out who "patience" was and exited the building. People were bowing and saying morning greetings as she passed them in the street. Once, when asked, gave her the time at roughly 8 am. Well. She had time at least to find where the Gateway was. Maybe when this was all finished she would pay Rae a visit and play a card game or something.

Location: The Hideout
Time: 6:00AM

The sun slowly began to inch above the thick foliage, shedding beams of light upon the skies of I n f i n i t y. While the rest of the Forest Region slept, Kouji had been awake for hours on end, anticipating the task that this day was to bring. Managing to linger off for a couple of hours, he finally submitted to his anxiety and summoned his guardians. It was time to discuss their strategy for the coming endeavor.

Today was the day that Kouji would form a pact with the Demi-God Heracles.

Spirit Gods, unlike regular spirits of I n f i n i t y, were spirits of both limitless potential and crippling inhibitions. Spirits who undergo a process called "Enlightening" are eligible to increase their power and mana tenfold, becoming Gods among their kind. However, the power an Enlightened achieves is attached with a price; specifically, the spirit is bound to contribute their most prominent trait in some beneficial way to the world. Their power binds them to servitude, and they are no longer free to pursue matters that concern themselves (including matters of politics and rule, hence why they are typically not seen out and about.)

Because forming a pact with a summoner is indeed a service, Gods (and 'Demi-Gods' alike, as Heracles did not complete his Enlightening entirely,) are able to pact and travel with Summoners. These enlightened spirits, however, are typically wary of who they ally themselves with, and typically issue strenuous tests to those seeking their power. Heracles, hailed far and wide for his strength, would most likely administer a test of valor and strength through combat.

Kouji sat in the hideout, discussing the matter with his Geri, Freki, and Hero. Having served a Spirit God, the Wolf Guardians were quite knowledgeable of matters of Gods and the tests they administer, and had proved to be quite insightful.

"Seems like a decent plan," Kouji grunted, his fatigue finally hitting him like a brick wall, "A little straightforward for you, Frek, but it doesn't sound like this Heracles is one for mind games either."

"That meat head respects a head-on fight, Pup, so that's what we should give him." Freki chided, scratching his chin with his claw, "Keep the frog and the minstrel under lock and key- without their protection, he'll knock you out with one clean hit. Your pet, Geri and I will draw as much of his attention as we can, but it will be on you to lay as many shots on him as you can before we're out."

"Gotcha." Kouji responded, "You guys cool with this?"

Hero nodded, "Though not much of a plan per se, it would seem that our options are limited. We proceed as Freki dictates."

"Don't look at me," Geri frowned, "Frek's always been the brains. I just hit things with my sword."

Kouji nodded, pleased that he had finally gotten to talk about the event. This did little to soothe his nerves about crossing blades with another God, but it was good to at least have some semblance of a plan put together. For all of Freki's misgivings about forming a pact with him, he was surprised to find how much of an asset he had been during this past year.

He stood up, patting Jiraiya gently on his tummy. The old frog wasn't much for meetings of any sort, and he typically proved more than able to adapt to whatever plan the others had made later on, so it really wasn't a battle worth fighting.

Before the group could mobilize, however, Orfeo strode into the meeting room with far more grace than any normal person should this early. With his strumming hand, he presented a peculiar piece of paper.

"Forgive me, Young Master, but I'm afraid your engagement with the Oaf-King Heracles will have to be postponed." the butler bowed, "A letter to you from Whisper, sir."

Quickly swiping the paper from his butler, Kouji quickly read and re-read the letter, quite unsure of how to react. Though he had been preparing for his encounter with Heracles for the better part of a week, he was absolutely elated at the prospect of associating with another human again. He tried to contain himself as he allowed the rest of his guardians to read the letter, but he couldn't help but let loose the tiniest of grins.

After reading the letter, all consented that priorities had indeed changed- all save for Jiraiya, who seemed concerned after reading the letter.

"What's wrong, Jiraiya?" Kouji smirked, "Still waking up?"

"If only it were dat, Little One," Jiraiya frowned, "But I wonder if Whisper knows what he's doing? I've lived in de Ocean District all my life, and de air dere usually doesn't agree with humans passing through. Why not pick a place dat won't make ya sick?"

"Ah yes, I too have heard of this affliction, old friend." Orfeo interjected, "But I do believe that this is precisely why Whisper chose this spot to be our point of rendezvous. The poison usually takes a few days to begin to afflict the victim, and even when infected, it will dissipate once the ailed leaves the District."

"He could also be gathering us there to draw less attention to ourselves." Freki chimed, "If you gather at the one place in the world where you wouldn't want to meet, it will be the last place that the Sins check." He paused briefly, "Either that, or it's a trap."

Kouji stroked his chin thoughtfully for a while before responding, "I see what you're saying, Frek. I'm not entirely sure about Whisper myself, but we've known him for the better part of a year now and he hasn't deceived us yet. I say we go to the Ocean District- we need to pass through 'Summer' to get to the Ocean anyway, so we can pick up 'Charity' before we jump train. We'll wait there for a few hours, and if we don't get any shows, we'll leave and find them ourselves. Sound good?"

None had any misgivings at this point- this was what the Summoner and his group of spirits had waited for, and they were prepared both in body and mind. Without a second thought, Kouji recalled his guardians, and made haste for the train station with Hero close at his heels.

Location: The Land of Neverending Summer
Time: 8:20AM

The train ride had been rather uneventful- stepping into the golden shores of Summer was a welcome change of atmosphere from the rustic hideout. Kouji was brimming with anticipation; though certainly not without company, it had been a whole year since Kouji spoke with one of his own kind. It was a bizarre combination of emotions indeed.

"You smell nervous, Kouji," Hero sniffed, "Are you well?"

"Yeah..." Kouji smirked, "It's just...weird. Just a couple of years ago, I was surrounded by other humans. It feels so weird to say that I'm nervous to see one!"

"Weird, but understandable. You've been busy here in this world. I'm sure you miss seeing your own kind."

"Yeah...c'mon Hero, let's see if we can find this first Virtue!"

Time:8:25AM
The gate opens precisely now.

Location: A mile away from the Gateway.
Time: 8:05 A.M.

The cold never bothered her much.

The crisp morning was accompanied by the icy winds that blew past her hair, her eyes opening despite the protest of her heavy eyelids. She had slept outside, again. Well, by then it was a common occurrence, but it still took time to register each morning how utterly alone she was in the world. What time is it? She took a glance up at the rising sun, not high enough as to bring any warmth to her cool skin. Probably around 6... With a small stretch, she pushed herself up against the wall, balancing herself before glancing around her surroundings.

A world of a pristine and innocent nature huh? She recalled the words the Gateway had promised her, her light brown eyes flickered slightly in the dim light of the sunlight. No.. She shook her head, her light hair scattering around her shoulders. It took her days, but she had made her decision. "Plant your feet on the ground, Arya," Her brother's voice rang through her mind, startling her out of the daze, "Plant it firm. Remember. This is reality, and this is where the truth lies." Yeah... If you were only here to see the truth with me.

The sound of her light footsteps echoed throughout the abandoned strip of sanctuary she found for herself several nights before, choosing it as her temporary abode. Her brother was right. It was time for her to stop running. Her hand reached up to take the small rubber band from her wrist, pulling the heavy strands of her hair into a half-ponytail. I won't go... She closed her eyes as she reached her final decision.

"Hey. Hey. Come on. Don't run." She swore she was alone, but the sound of scurrying footsteps told her otherwise, her attention immediately snapping back toward the man that held the corner of her coat. "Come on, sweetheart, no need to be frightened." To tell the truth, Arya was frightened, but her facade did not show even a hint of it, the icy eyes glancing at the group of men with cold, calculating gazes. "Let go." Even her voice was cold, much like droplets of ice falling onto glass. She did not even wait for a response, the hilt of her coat began to harden from the waist down, a trail of ice crawled its way toward the man's hand, and within seconds, the ice had crawled onto the man's arm. "Oh you're f--" Arya did not wait to hear what the man had to curse about, nor did she wait for the group to realize what she had just done. With quick movements that are only able to be done with her small size, she scurried away from the group, her hair a mess in the wind, but at the moment she could hardly care less.

I've always been running... For once, the cold air seemed to bite into her, the sound of footsteps behind her sent the chills up her spine. She did not know where she was running to, nor did she know why she had stopped. But within seconds, the reason registered. The Gateway... Before her eyes lie the dazzling Gateway, the one that promised her a world that she no longer believed existed. "Get back here you f-" There was no longer time for hesitation. She pushed herself forward, the mere motion of such sent her tumbling through the place that promised to be her abode.

Location: Black Markets
Time: 8:25 A.M.

This is not what was promised me...

Darkness. Her pupils adjusted painfully to the sudden darkness that blinded her, her hands struggling to pull herself off of the hard ground. But within the darkness was not silence. On the contrary, it was chaos. Her hands held onto the collar of her coat as she hesitantly walked forward, her light steps barely pulling attention toward her as she looked at the scene that unfolded before her. "It's a market.. That was definitely obvious, seeing the rare items and weapons that laid in piles around the scene.

Where am I..? The air around her dropped in temperature rapidly, and many gave her a cautionary glance as she brushed past, not even noticing the chilliness she has created in the atmosphere around her. With each step, the ground frosted underneath her before melting as her foot left the ground, her warm gold eyes scanned the area for something.. Anything that was promised to her.

I don't belong here.. Her steps began getting quicker, unconsciously dropping the temperature within her proximity into an uncomfortable coldness as the panic rose in her mind, but her eyes nonetheless cast that icy glance around the markets.

Liars. You're all liars.

Haruka couldn't believe the amount of pain her legs were in. Sure, she had been trying her best to speed up her recovery, but maybe she had finally pushed it too hard. A arm covering her eyes as she gripped the railings on the bed with her other hand, Haruka let out a silent string of curses that no one was likely to hear. Outside the hospital room the noises were quiet for now, and it didn't seem like a single soul was out there besides the occasional chit chat between doctor and nurse about the patients.

The hospital itself was 'alright' in a certain sense. The only reason Haruka was even being treated in such a facility was because her aunt was a respected doctor in the hospital, that was the only reason Haruka's mother was in the room across the hall as well... In all honesty, Haruka hated it here. People died in hospitals. Dying, last time Haruka checked, was never something many willing did. Grabbing at the right side of the hospital bed railing, Haruka pulled herself up, swinging her legs to the side of the bed as she eyed the room carefully.

Ayano had brought in two bags full of things Haruka would need to keep herself occupied at night, one involving her change in clothes. Sure, her style may be slightly strange, but it fit her. White tights, black shorts, a white dress shirt, and her father's old military jacket with his emblem proudly sewed on. As for shoes, typically it was a pair of brown boats that went up to her knees.

Stumbling as she got up from the bed, her body felt much to heavy for her legs to carry her to the nearby bathroom, yet she managed. Her face had quite a few cuts, though they were mostly on the right side of her face from when it scrapped against the hard cement street. She was lucky it only damaged the way she walked, not to mention only the temporary bruises covering her body and cuts of her face.

'Heh, yeah, lucky.' Haruka bitterly though, holding onto anything for further support as she gritted her teeth through the pain, starting the shower she'd soon step into. Stripping away her hospital gown, Haruka didn't bother to look in the mirror again. She knew how badly it would look anyway. Once the water had been shifted to the perfect temperature, Haruka took it as her cue to enter the shower, all the tension and pain nearly melting away from her body as she leaned against the wall, gently running her fingers through her wet, apricot colored hair.

She wouldn't be able to make a difference like this. She was turning bitter, something she of all people, had no right to do. She needed to show that she could still be kind, still love, but right now she wouldn't trust herself to be around Ayano alone. Not after the last time her anger had got the best of her. Never again would she lay a hand on her sister. Never.

"All... All I want, is to at least be able to make a difference. To at least know kindness can make a difference in the world and brighten someones day... Hell, I just want to see a world and the beauty in it anymore... Good, and evil..." Haruka pleaded lightly, slowly sliding down the shower wall.

Location: St. Luke's International Hospital, Tokyo
Time: Morning (7:45 A.M.)

After about a good five minutes of towel drying her hair, brushing it, then towel drying it again, Haruka had the towel wrapped around her body. Walking over to the clean set of clothes, Haruka let out a satisfied sigh as she put each article on, collapsing on the hospital bed, curling up as she gripped her legs. Now the pain was slowly coming back, but it was certainly felt better. It was a good thing too, because after six months of recovery her Aunt was going to check her out of the hospital today. Unfortunately, that meant being alone with Ayano at times, seeing how her cousin was just starting his college 'adventure'. Great.

Haruka rocketed straight up with wide eyes to stare at the odd looking gateway, spirals and symbols covering it as it seemed to call out to Haruka. THe feeling itself was off, unique. Looking over to the backpack Ayano had brought, Haruka slowly reached over to grab it. The child was no doubt going to be angry at her once she found out it was gone. Besides, the backpack only held a few mementos to look at and a book. Nothing fancy, last time Haruka checked. Taking a deep breath, just as the clock struck eight o' clock, Haruka had taken the first step into the gateway, which eventually pulled her in to a winter wonderland of darkness and snow. Lots, and lots, of snow.

Location: The Never Ending Winter
Time: Morning (8:05 A.M.)

It only took a few minutes of being completely lost in the snow to find a source of light after Haruka began to swear about the freezing temperatures as she shivers, treading through the snow slowly towards the small town. Luckily for her, she hadn't been attacked by any creatures that lived in the snow. No, she simply heard their howls and hurried her ass out of there. There was no point in dying so soon, and that much was painfully obvious. Oh, and her legs? They were too numb to even feel any pain as of right now. In fact, from the moment the gateway showed up, her legs didn't even seem like they had been broken entirely six months ago.

Now, all she had to do was make it to the down and wait for the sun to rise before she even figured out remotely what she needed to do here, or if she needed to do anything in the first place.

Location: The forest Sector.
Time of day: 8:40 A.M.

Samael wandered through the forest, his nose to the air as the wind suddenly shifted, bringing with it... A woman's scent! Samael dialed in on the scent like a blood hound and took off at a dead run, his anger slowly manifesting around him in steam like wisps. How dare they just waltz into his forest! He kept himself out here for a damned reason, to stay away from those who would piss him off, but for some reason people just HAD to walk on in! And that mad him very, very angry. When he found this damned woman he was going to... to... He slowly came to a stop and took a deep breath. "Have to calm down. I don't know what they're here for... but I have a feeling it'd be a bad idea for me to kill them." The steamy wisps vanished with his anger, and he calmly walked towards the scent.

9:00 A.M.

The walk through the forest had helped calm him, and by the time he came into the girl's view he was in a... Relatively decent mood. She was drawing, he could hear the sound of graphite grinding against the rough surface of the paper and ripping, tearing, peeling off in microscopic pieces and falling into the tiny crevices of the fibrous material. He smiled a little to himself, he knew all of this, but he'd never be able to see the drawing itself. He slowly walked into the small clearing, hands in his pockets.
"What are you doing here? This place is dangerous to go wandering around by your lonesome."

She felt suffocated, it had been a year and several months after her aunt and uncle's death but the guilt continued to eat away at her. Her realization of her own selfishness was slowly killing her; the numerous of times she'd pitied herself and blamed her 'rotten life' on her aunt and uncle, the times when she said she'd rather die than have to live under their presence. If she was truly charitable, if really was a kind person, she would have realized that she was lucky enough to even have a family. She was drowning in a sea of guilt with no one there to save her. She watched expressionlessly as people bustled about the city without a care of what anyone else other than themselves were doing. Cars honked below, couples were making out in cafes, and mothers were dragging their children around in a hurry. Everyone was busy - too busy to even notice the girl standing on the edge of the ten story building.

Jenna squeezed her eyes shut as she began shuffling her feet towards the nothingness in front of them. Both her feet were halfway off the edge when she stopped. "This is stupid." Suicide just wasn't for her nor was it something anyone should treat lightly. She got here with the naive intention of experiencing the emotions that come with suicide - she was obviously an idiot. She turned around in embarrassment of her insensitivity unaware that her feet had slipped off the edge, her head turning around just in time to catch a glimpse of a door flash open behind her and suck her in.

The sun was hot in the sky, the heat stabbing away at her arms and legs and she gazed around, absorbing the sights, smells, and sounds of the unfamiliar place. However as strange as the place was, she felt as if a great load had been lifted off her chest. The first thing she did was take off her baggy gray jacket - her shorts were already well suited to the new environment. After she had gotten herself comfortable, she stated the only obvious question that seemed to fit her situation, "Am I dead?"
If she was, heaven or hell, whichever one she was in was hot, had a train leading to who knows where, had a beautiful ocean, and had a blue-haired guy with a talking dog in it...........

The heat of the never-ending sun was quickly proving to be a bit too much for Kouji. For someone as lithe as the young summoner, he had a peculiar inclination towards colder weather. He had not been in the new district for more than five minutes before having to remove his jacket.

As he wiped his sweaty forehead, he noticed his four-legged companion's nose sniffing uncontrollably.

"What's wrong, boy- erm, Hero?" Kouji inquired, quickly doubling-back on his initial 'pet name.' Even after a year, he still couldn't quite break the habit of talking to Hero as if he was still the same house-dog from Earth.

"Well, 'Master,'" he mocked, flashing Kouji a quick grin, "Nothing is wrong, exactly. I just smell something I haven't smelled in a long time- the smell of another human, fresh from the other side if my nose is still any good..."

Kouji immediately straightened up, unable to contain the sudden jolt of excitement. It was bizarre- he had been preparing himself for this moment for the past year, yet the prospect still hit him like a ton of bricks.

"Hello?"

Fortuitously enough, the source of the long-forgotten scent had found the Summoner and his Guardian, saving Kouji from scouring the city for her.

Trying to remain as approachable as possible, Kouji slowly walked over to the little girl. Purely out of habit, Kouji scanned her up and down, looking for any signs of claws, wings, or other Spiritly...things. He quickly glanced over at Hero, who nodded in approval.

Kouji cleared his throat, "Yeah, sorry about that. After being here for a year, you've gotta make sure new acquaintances don't have hidden arms, or claws, or other nasty things..."

He could see that this meeting was quickly going south, judging by the look of extreme bewilderment upon her face. Still, if she indeed was part of the prophesied Virtues, he would have to quickly gain her trust.

"Uh, but it's obvious that you're a human- like me!" Kouji smiled, trying to make that statement sound as normal as possible, "My name's Kouji, and I'm here to help!"

"And I am Hero," the dog interjected, bowing before Jenna, "It will be a pleasure to work alongside you."

"Oh yeah- my dog talks." Kouji sighed, hoping to have eased her into the 'Spirit-ness' a little slower than what was currently happening,"You get used to this kind've stuff once you've been here as long as I have...so uh, what's your name?"

Location: Near Yale University, Connecticut

Seth woke up and looked around, large bags under his eyes. He hadn’t been able to sleep for days, and today was the first time Seth had been able to fall asleep. Stretching, Seth looked out of his window to see the movements of people going to work, pushing and shoving one another impatiently to get to stores, metros, buses, amongst other means of transportation. Seth disliked the general movement of cities. He couldn’t stand it, really- it was all too quick for him. For a person who liked to just sit back and enjoy- well, the city just wasn’t the right place to stay at.

Getting up from his comfortable perch on a chair beside his window, Seth walked over to the bathroom and closed the door shut, softly. He surveyed his reflection in the mirror. I look so tired… Seth thought, rubbing the slight stubble on his chin and touching the bags that were underneath his eyes. And it’s only been 20 days into the new school term… He had changed- it was obvious he had. Seth never remembered seeing himself so haggard and lost, his emotions etched on every surface of his face. He had tried to go to school- he had! Moving along with the surges of students rushing from the classrooms into the halls, waiting patiently for class to start, patiently lining up for whatever he wanted to get- but it was as if everyone else lived on a different set of rules. No one waited for him to finish with his business- no one cared if Seth was trying to, say, line up to pay for a bagel. No. It was a ‘one man for his own’ world, and Seth wasn’t a part of this world.

And I’ve had enough. This thought scared him- it really did. He had never thought this thought ever before. His mind would also travel between ‘let’s pick up this task!’ and ‘let’s finish this task!’. Never before had Seth given up on anything. It was against his character and it was against his teachings. But, anyways, he had found a way to retain himself. A way to make sure that he did not change anymore and would be able to preserve whom he was for a longer period of time.

Turning on the faucet one last time, Seth watched the water surge from the tap and out, gurgling down the sink and away from sight. Splashing a bit of water on his face, Seth reached forward and grabbed some shaving cream. He lathed it onto his chin and used his other hand to pick up his razor, gingerly, and shave the stubble that had formed. I need to return to who I was. I need to. Splashing water again on his chin and rinsing his razor, Seth looked at himself in the mirror once more and nodded, smiling weakly before turning away and walking out of the bathroom. He didn’t need to change- he had yesterday night, at 1 in the morning, as a means of preparation.

He surveyed the room one last time and nodded slowly. It was time. He would miss his home, and he would miss his parents even more. Picking up his bag from a large black leather chair in the living room, he zipped it open and checked its contents one more. Didn’t forget anything. He zipped it again and put it on, looking at the large door in front of him with confidence blazing in his eyes. This is it. He turned the knob and took a step forward, perpetual darkness suddenly enveloping him as he took another step, away from his old life.

Location: Business District

Another step brought light- and noise. A lot of noise. The noise that Seth had been surrounded by- choked by- while back at Connecticut. Opening his closed eyes, a familiar sight flooded Seth’s senses as horror slowly filled him. This was not a new sight- not a new one at all. It didn’t mirror his wish, nor did it fulfill his dreams.

Why?!

Turning around rapidly, Seth watched with horror as weird humanoid things moved around, past him, and to the tall, glass buildings that towered on all sides. The figures pushed against him, rushing against each other and time to get to whatever destination they wished to arrive at.

Seth took a deep breath. This wasn’t Earth- this wasn’t his home. This was something new. There was a possibility that this was different; this planet held a sort of hope for Seth. He struck out on a moderate pace, walking in a random direction on the street he was on, hope and forced complacency in his heart.

Freya

Location: Business District

Time: Roughly 9:45 AM

__________________________

It had been nearly two hours since she left her home to walk around and find this kid. She wasn't given any sort of hint as to what she was looking for, no gender, no age estimate, nothing. Just look for a human. 'Swell. I could be here for hours picking through spirits to find one human.' Freya sighed and leaned against a wall with a tired groan. This was taking far too long. Why did she agree to this silly thing? It was all Whispers idea anyway. Okay sure the other Sins had gone along with it...mostly. But why did they have to expect her to do this as well? What was she even meant to do when she found the Virtue? Question them? Imprison them? Kill them? Give them to Whisper? She had no idea. Nibbling her lip she realized she should have paid more attention at the last "family gathering" instead of contemplating whether Angle was as good in bed as some claimed him to be. The ones who survived anyway. Wouldn't that be a way to die eh? Talk about going out with a bang.

Freya blinked multiple times before her brain brought her out of her thoughts enough to register human and she set off in pursuit of the creature she very nearly missed. She hadn't seen a human in a very, very long time. Once it was in her sights again she determined that it was a he and he wasn't walking very fast. He had a bag and she estimated that he was around her height, though walking behind him she couldn't put a guess on his age. Putting aside any questions she had in her mind she decided to simply follow him for the time being and see if he had anything planned because it appeared as if he was wandering aimlessly.

There was dust everywhere. Dmitri couldn't remember there being this much dust when her mother resided in this room, but it had been years since anyone had even bothered setting foot into the deep blue walls. She ran her hands lightly over the dresser and pictures that sat on the bedside table. With a deep sigh she sat on the edge of the bed. She supposed that she missed her mother, but Dmitri couldn't quite remember the woman. Her aunt had been terrible these past few weeks, she hasn't allowed Dmitri out of the house except to get the mail, and stayed in her room all day with her cigarettes and beer cans. Dmitri hadn't even been allowed to go and dance.

She sometimes wondered why she didn't just leave, it wasn't like there was anything stopping her, but she couldn't take it upon herself to leave her aunt all alone. But now she was going to do it. She was finally going to leave. However, Dmitri hadn't actually told her aunt about this strange oppurtunity, so she now stood to grab a pen to write a note. It would be short and sweet.

Paris,

Thank you for all of these years, they've been grand. I'm leaving now, dont look, you most certainly won't find me. I wish you all the luck in the world. Goodbye.

With love,
Demi.

She supposed that it was a rather rude letter, but she was too nervous to tell her aunt to her face. And so she had packed a backpack full of clothes and her ballet shoes and went into her mother's room to wait for the promise of a new life. She was feeling a bit nervous now, her palms were sweaty and her ankles were cold for some odd reason.

Dmitri placed the letter delicately on her mothers old pillow and smoothed the sheets down where she had sat. With one last glance I the mirror that hung above her mother's dresser, she stood and realized how pale she had become due to her lack of outside life. She would have to change that.

Location: Gateway Entrance
Time: 8:25 A.M.

The gate way opened and Dmitri took one last breath in her world before stepping through, without looking back. She would begin again in this new, beautiful...

This was definitely not what she was expecting. The light on the street was dim and it was rather noisy. It smelled like cigarette smoke and bars and all across the streets she saw signs for rather sketchy looking places. This was not the new life she had been promised, she was NOT going to become a stripper.

“Oh lord, what have I gotten myself into."

|| The Black Market ||
|| Ciel's Office ||
|| 6:25 A.M ||

Hmp....it's almost perfect....but... trailed off the Sin's inner voice, a presence of longing giving the words life. Powder blue orbs ticking over the rough sketch of her newest outfit, a punk lolita of sorts, a frown tugged the corners of her mouth downwards. Letting out a frustrated groan, the young woman threw her dulled charcoal pencil on the grandfather desk, a light plink blooming in the silence as the object rebounded off the mahogany. Exhaling with an agitated huff, Ciel pressed her spread palms against the edging before pushing outwards, her high-backed, CEO-esque leather chair swiveling in response. Taking light, ballet reminiscent, steps, Pride waltzed over to tightly sealed blinds, the causers of the watery darkness. Humming a nameless tune, Ciel's lithe form took pause by the window, a tapered finger delicately hooking around cloth strips. Pulling a single one downwards, a thin stream of sickly gold flooded through the crack, exposing the view on the other side.

Below and on the other side of her own world, an intricate layout of tents, in various hues of cloth, were sprawled out, each with their own specialty. Patrons of the market were chattering to one another, arguing and fighting, drinking and being merry... Ah yes, the joys of a Black Market. Gazing fondly at the chaos below, Ciel felt herself slip into a blissful trance..however, the sharp caw of a crow interrupted the moment. Giving a sharp tsk at the distraction, Pride's sharp eyes narrowed in on the bird, a message bound to it's body. Flickering her gaze over to the open back door, a slight smirk erased the frown before a grimace took it's place. Of course. Just flew right in, didn't even bother to alert me. How disgusting.. and Whisper just had to send a bloody bird. seethed her conscious, stature marching over to the animal with contempt. Snatching the message off it's carrier, it was all Ciel could do not to call a python to come and consume the nasty creature. Instead, Pride settled for a vicious snarl, eyes narrowed with an air of menace, "Alright, got your message. So disappear, you mite-covered rat." As if taking injury through her words, the crow let out another screech of disagreement before lifting to flight and out the door. Unscrolling the message, a mischievous smirk and impish sheen painted their way onto her features, the words delighting her. So...a virtue is coming here, huh? Heh...well this should be fun.

|| The Black Market ||
|| In The Crowd ||
|| 8:27 A.M ||

"Sooo….where is she gonna appear at..?" projected Ciel's inward thoughts vocally, her teeth sinking thoughtfully into her lower lip. Tapping her crimson-painted nails against her left hip, those warmly cold orbs scanned the crowd. Of course, she had left her office minutes ago so it was just slightly more difficult to peer through the bustle of people but… how else was she going to find this virtue? Giving a small huff of agitation, a painful awareness of her time being wasted registering into her conscious, Pride had just spun on her heels, all intent to give up the search, when movement caught her attention. A petite white haired girl, about her height, was moving about in the crowd…obviously without any previous experience on how to move through a mass. A small snicker was given by demon seeing the fretting Virtue being forced to flow about by the other busybodies. Pathetic…should I help her..? Debating what to do, Ciel was about to leave her be when something interesting halted any notion of abandoning the newcomer; there was frost expanding with each footstep she took. Eyes alight with excitement, a mischeivous smirk slowly spread onto her features as she hastily threaded her way through the crowd. Banishing that devilish smirk and replacing it with concern, a facade so convincing that just about anyone would believe she truly meant good, Ciel knitted her eyebrows together and widened her eyes before placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Hey….are you ok?? You seem kinda lost.. are you new here?"

She watched curiously as the strange man and his dog approached her, exchanging glances before getting any closer to where she sat. She tilted her head slightly to the right as away of saying, "What's wrong?" The duo seemed harmless enough but still, strangers were strangers.

After a moment of silence the man with the blue hair spoke,"Yeah, sorry about that. After being here for a year, you've gotta make sure new acquaintances don't have hidden arms, or claws, or other nasty things...Uh, but it's obvious that you're a human- like me! She was still completely, and undoubtedly confused. If she had learned anything about the two from the past ten seconds she had known them, it was that they had a lot to say. "And I am Hero. It will be a pleasure to work alongside you," the dog stated, bowing as it - or he, spoke.

She felt herself jump upon hearing the canine speak, she hadn't realized how human it's voice was until now. Had she met the two from behind a curtain she never would have guessed that the confident and stable voice had come from none other than "man's best friend"."Oh yeah- my dog talks. You get used to this kind've stuff once you've been here as long as I have...so uh, what's your name?"

She glanced back at Kouji, appreciating the fact that she had finally gotten a change to speak. "First things first, is this about that silly letter I got in the mail a week ago? The one about the um, what was it called? The Infinity realm? I thought that was just an intricate joke...." She paused, tapping her cheek thoughtfully. "But why am I here? Why are you here?" She paused again for another brief moment of thought. "Also, my name's...Jenna," she stated cautiously, staring straight into Kouji's eyes in an attempt to show him that she wasn't a weakling.

Ellie jumped dropping her pencil looking up a little shocked before she composed herself. "You came out of no where, As far as danger goes I didn't wander to far in." A small smile played at the edge of her lips letting her tone shift into a more conversational tone. "Are you here to tell me you are the big bad and I should be heading for the hills with a blood curdling yell for help?" She let a small laugh creep out before she cleared her throat looking back down at her art, "In all seriousness Sir if I am trespassing I can go. I didn't see any signs or anything and this forest is just so pretty." She tucked her book back into her bag throwing it on to her shoulder.

She studied him for a moment a sly smile spread on her face "So how do you know I am not someting to be scared of? For all you know I could very well be something completely deadly dangerous." She bit back a laugh that was creeping up her throat like anyone would find her scary. His legs had taken Seth virtually nowhere as the tall glass buildings continued as far as Seth could see. The wandering things had also not decreased in number, either, and continued to push and shove one another into the respective buildings that lined the road. At least there are no cars here… Seth thought, turning his head left and right as his eyes took in the scene around him. Due to the novelty and, well, newness of the place Seth was in, the social dread and fear had not sunk in yet. For once, Seth was not shaking with fear while walking through a city. Exhilaration and questions filled his mind as he watched the local denizens of the place he was in scurry around. Some tall, some short, some cute and some ugly; all looked unique and different- and definitely not ‘human’. But who am I to judge? He thought while staring at a particularly tall, red looking jelly with five legs.

Shaking his head, he continued to walk along the main road Seth had found himself on when he first entered this world. He had long since lost whatever sense of time he had on Earth, as his clock had gone haywire the moment he had stepped out of his room. Looks as if it’s pretty early, though…and not much time has passed most likely. Seth surveyed the sky, unaware that he was surrounded by other objects, before bumping straight on into a blue looking fawn. “Watch it!” It-he?- blurted, before rushing away, visibly angry. “I-I’m very sorry!” Seth whispered back, a blush rushing onto his face. His breathing quickened as spots appeared in his eyes; Seth crouched down as he tried to ignore the glares and stares that he felt on his back. No, I’ll be fine. I’ll be fine. I won’t have an attack here- no, I’m fine. He rocked back and forth on his heels, hands blocking his two ears from the sounds of feet hitting the floor. No one stopped to help him.

Seth got up after a while after his breathing was under control, and his head not as faint. I need to get out of here. Looking around, Seth swallowed the bile in his throat before nodding absentmindedly, encouraging himself. Walking up to a rather slow hamburger-looking thing, Seth opened his mouth and closed it again. The hamburger looked at him with five inquisitive eyes. “Yes?” It croaked out, a tinge of annoyance in its voice. Quickly backing away, Seth shook his head and ran away, his legs carrying him quickly through the crowd. Wait! Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. This won’t do.

He came to a stop and looked around himself once more. Everything was still the same. Nothing was around him beside tall, blue glass buildings and crowd after crowd of weird things. I need to ask where to get out of here, quick. I can do this; I definitely can! I- I can. This time, he chose someone that looked more human. A lady with slightly pink hair and a rather kind smile- actually, she looked the most human in the whole crowd besides Seth. “M-Miss?” Seth asked, peeking at the lady’s face before looking down again, a blush once again creeping across his cheeks. “I-“ He took a deep breath, “I was wondering where I could probably leave this city?” A slightly more confident smile crossed Seth’s face as he looked at the lady in front of him, proud that he had been able to say a full sentence without bolting away. There was something about this lady that drew Seth’s attention, not in the romantic way- not that she wasn’t pretty!- but there was something else about her aura that drew Seth in.

Samael simply tilted his head and listened to the girl. "Well that's good, the corruption isn't to bad near the edge of the wood, and no, you're not trespassing. Though if I were "Big and bad" and made little girls run to the hills with blood curdling screams, you probably would be." Samael walked up to the fallen tree and took a seat, running his hand across the dead bark. "It is rather nice out here, epically in the spring." He smiled as he thought of the wonderful sounds that spring brought with it. "The melody of bird song, the scent of a blooming pine tree, the soft moss growing on fallen trees... It's a wondrous place." He had to laugh a little at her next comment, the one about possibly being some deadly and dangerous creature, and that her name was Ellie.

"Well Ellie, if you WERE something deadly and dangerous, I would've killed you the second I smelled you." He grinned at the girl, the mad grin of a stone cold killer, as an axe appeared in his other hand. He plunged the blade of said axe into the tree with such force that the entire section of tree to his left cracked, split, fell apart and turned to splinters as it hit the ground. "People call me lots of things." he continued in a more serious tone, his grin gone. "They call me "The Barbarian", "The Blind One", and "The Youngest Sin". Most people simply call me Wrath, and my friends call me Samael. But this is all besides the point!" Samael pushed himself off of the dead tree and slung his axe over his shoulder, facing Ellie once more. "Call me whatever you wish, but for now, you'll be coming with me."

Ellie smiled lightly as he spoke fondly of the forest. "Well Ellie, if you WERE something deadly and dangerous, I would've killed you the second I smelled you." He grinned at the girl, the mad grin of a stone cold killer, as an axe appeared in his other hand. She took a step back as his axe cracked into a tree, "People call me lots of things." he continued in a more serious tone, his grin gone.

She straightened her back as every bit of her started to panic, but she manged to keep herself composed and hervoice even. "Yeah...I don't think that is something I really care to do Wrath, you see well you are rather scary and wel the thing is I want to show you what it is you do fully to people when you come at them like this. It really isn't nice." She took a deep breath at let herself give into the fear her body started to shake almost uncontrollable. In one fluid movement she grabbed his wrist giving him the flood of fear that had started to crash through her, his rage made her feel like she just jumped into a pit of fire. She quickly pushed it down as she let him go not having any clue how he would react or if it would have a long enough effect that she could get away.

She ran pushing herself as hard as she could her lungs threatened to burst as she put distance between them her mind raced. "Now what am I suppose to do?" She saw a tear that she quickly climbed up climbing as high as she could until she was high in the brance barely strong enough to hold her weight and tried to catch her breath.

"Yeah...I don't think that is something I really care to do Wrath, you see well you are rather scary and wel the thing is I want to show you what it is you do fully to people when you come at them like this. It really isn't nice." Samael frowned at that and got a sinking feeling when she grabbed his wrist. Suddenly, a wave of fear smacked into his very being like a brick wall, pushing away all other emotions as the girl ran off. His knee hit the ground, his entire body shaking. "W-What... the hell is t-this?" He was so frightened he could vomit, and it REALLY pissed him off. Fear became anger, and anger became rage, and rage... turns to Wrath.

He stood, his body still shaking but no longer in fear. Now his body shook with the barely contained rage he could feel boiling inside of him, spilling out from his hand and forming his axe, which he gripped in both hands. With a savage growl, Wrath plunged into the woods after the girl, following her scent. Apparently, she was a pretty good sprinter, because it took him a while to find the tree she had climbed. Wrath simply grinned and hefted his axe. "You have two choices Ellie! Come down quietly, or I'll Chop Chop Chop this tree down!" With every "Chop", he plunged his axe into the tree, taking out a sizable chunk.

Let me out of this place…

It wasn’t like Arya to panic, but her mind raced frantically as her eyes darted around the dark markets, the frost underneath her feet growing thicker and lasting longer as her foot left each spot quickly. The mass moved around her, some shoving her forward and others simply leaving her be. The chaos and noise were deafening to the girl that always preferred solitude.

Stop running Arya. With the memories of her brother’s voice, her footsteps slowed slightly as the crowd pushed and shoved around her. Why are you always running? She shook her head, attempting to shake his voice out of her mind. Although comforting, she did not know how to answer that question. What was she running from? Impurity? Corruption? …Promises? Placing her hands onto her ears, she stopped herself on the last thought, forcing the memories that threatened to break in.

“Hey… are you ok?? You seem kinda lost.. are you new here?” Arya froze just as she felt a hand on her shoulder. Despite the comfort it brought, a jagged spike of ice struck up near her foot, nearly touching the girl the voice belonged to behind her. Her eyes flickered backwards, turning her body suddenly as to face whoever had touched her shoulder, never liking the feeling of the touch of others. However, the girl didn’t seem to mean harm, in fact, the person that stood in front of her seemed to have a much softer appearance than any other beings wandering around this horrid place. She’s pretty… Arya would have to admit, the girl looked like she could be a model. But even so, she was never one to trust just about anyone.

“I’m fine.” Her façade was immediately back up, the cold look in her eyes seemed so paradoxical to her fragile build. “No… I’m not new.” Her pathetic attempt at a lie even deserved a mental slap from herself. Quickly changing to topic as to hope the girl in front of her did not notice the pitiable lie she has just tossed out, she turned her eyes away from her, focusing her mind on the crowd instead. “Would you happen to know the way out of here?” That was what she wanted to know, and she didn’t hesitate to throw the question out. The person did not look new nor inexperienced, thus, she would know a path out of here… Right? However, her distrust for the seemingly kind girl in front of her was reflected in the constant chilly temperature around her, enough to raise the goosebumps on anyone that passed within a few feet of her.

But somehow, the cold didn't seem to bother her... Truly. It never did.

Stretching his back, Whisper cracked his neck as he began to make his way to the manor of where Gluttony, or rather, Fourteenth, resided. In his left hand, a bag of sweets as he began to have a slight... skip in his step. Fifty pages were already in Whisper's possession, and people had a tendency to collect mass amounts at once, so he made it part of his 'duty' to check on the Sins for any of these little pages.

Whisper knew damn well that Kouji had stopped first in the Never Ending Summer for the best 'effective' way of gathering some of the Virtues. Hopefully Avis would be able to capture them and bring them to the Meeting House. After all, it might just work better if the little 'Goody goodies' had a reason to hate the Big Bad Wolves.

"Oi! Fourth! You in there?" Whisper called out, knocking on the manor doors. "I have food! I figured we could wait together!" Whisper's grin was practically ear to ear as he rocked on his heels, almost looking like a bit of a madman. Oh this would be great deals of fun, if Avis wasn't able to even find the two virtues.

Of course, there could be quite a few issues that would be bound to pop up, but surely nothing Whisper couldn't handle with the proper manipulation, right?

Location: Red- Light District
Time of day: 5 A.M.

It is rather interesting to stroll around when the day is just about to begin for some, where in the other hand the other bunch is just about to sleep. Drunken individuals all around the place, women who try to pick some men up from the street to get some amusement and pleasure... it is a common sight for Angle, and Angle couldn't describe with words how he loved the sight of his little possession. Yes, the whole district belonged to him, even though he is more recognized as a regular costumer of the clubs rather than the ruler. He wanted it likewise and no one shall know his real identity. The scent of alcohol, drugs and strong perfume lingered in the air, letting Angle breath the familiarity of the place he loved the most. It is only here where other than his family accepted him as who he is -- not like a filth that isn't to be regarded. It was... satisfying, kind of.

"Oh, what we have here? Angie!! Long time no see! Care for a drink?," A seducing and flirty women voice made him turn around. It was the woman from one of the strip clubs who he shared a night with. Nothing in particular special, it was just that, she had those breasts. And it was rare to get a chance to fondle those. So, what's the deal? Not like it was a crime. She wanted it and Angle was pleased by it. Enough to get his time passed and that’s supposed to be it. Nothing more, nothing less; a loose relationship like always. Angle smiled, glancing pointedly to her breasts while having those heavy-lidded eyes look her way, getting her grin to get wider. "It was really awhile since I last saw you," He uttered with a flirty undertone. She laughed, led him to the next bar. Of course, she was the one to get drunk. It's always like that. Angle is just unable to get drunk and can still stand properly after drinking many glasses at a row. You call it inhuman, Angle called it skill. A skill very often used for his own, little pleasure. He had found amusement in dragging drunken women to a hotel you see. He was particularly pleased when figuring that their skills in bed improve and are wilder when they're drunk. Especially interesting for Angle, you must note. Hence, that's what he did: he carried her to the mentioned place and shut the door behind him. What's next I leave to your imagination.

Location: Red-Light District
Time of day: 8 A.M.

He loved the time afterwards, when chilling alone on the terrace, high above the ground with the sun had yet to show herself. Somehow, it had that relaxing atmosphere, between life and death when leaning outside, stretching his hand and feet into the air where anyone would be afraid to fall down and die miserably. No, not Angle. It was his ecstasy and when feeling the wind, he'll get more swoon away that you can almost call it adrenalin rush what he is so addicted for. However, that wasn't it. It was simply the thought that he'll not die, even when...; at least, similar to it. Angle himself can't describe it well, it is only his drug. With a grin, he quitted the room without caring for the mess he had left. Not like that was the first time.

The bird came flying when he was just about to go to the Black Market, wanted to pay Ciel a visit. The however, appear to have to wait a little bit longer. The message written upon the letter was just too precious to be ignored. A virtue... a word that Angle couldn't believe someone can define within the reality he now lived. The virtue of Humility... someone fairly interesting had stepped upon the land of which Angle ruled. Wasn't that reason enough to apporach her respectively him? A mischievous smile appeared on his face at the time he let the crow go. Time for hunting!

Location: Red-Light District
Time of day: 8.25 A.M.

It was of an advantage that he knew most of the faces in the district. And whatsoever this virtue may be and howsoever it may look like, Angle was confident to find it. Not only will he or she look out of place, but also he or she might not have the slightest clue where he or she landed. Something that makes it easier, of course. He looked around; asked here and there, make small talk... as he finally arrived in one of the most crowded strip clubs. It was his favourite, to be real honest. There front of it walked a girl, looking rather unhappy seeing all the clubs on the roadside. A she, was his first thought that was tightly accompanied by a sly grin. He walked front to her right to the direction she currently was walking, made it look like he was too concentrated seeing all the stores along the street so that his purposed collision appeared as a mere accident. "God, I am sorry! I didn't look front of me properly! Are you alright?"

______________________

She followed him for a while, wondering if he had any idea where he was heading or if he meant to simply wander around the world until he figured something out. 'He IS the virtue of Patience, he might be planning just that.' Freya scoffed. He clearly wasn't going to survive long in this world. Then again, it didn't seem as if any of the virtues would. Unless they made a deal like the Sins did. 'Crap, I didn't think of that. If I have to go and ask that damn Whisper for information I am going to impale myself on a freaking swo--' Freya stopped thinking and walking as it appeared the human had gotten into some form of trouble. A small sound, hardly even a breath of a giggle was let out as he waked into one of the spirits. It was a blue one too; the blue ones were always the quick tempered ones. It looked like she might have to step in before the thing just glared and took off. Shrugging and putting her hands in her pockets she figured it must have been in a hurry to pass up a fight.

The human didn't look good. The spirits around him were all reacting to his interaction with disdain. Perhaps he had bumped into a higher class spirit? Whatever the reason, the human ended up crouched on the ground and rocking back and forth with his hands over his ears. Freya thought back to the distant memories, trying to recall what to do when a human behaved this way. It looked like he might be on the verge of a panic attack. But none of the spirits were attempting to consume him, not even close. He soon stood back up and the beings around him continued on with their days, some bowing as they passed her. She ignored them and narrowed her eyes at the wobbly human. He tried to converse with one that survived off eating weaker beings. 'What the bloody hell is this kid even doing?' He backed up into the crowd again and Freya chuckled this time. He was an amusing creature, perhaps the others would let her keep him around for entertainment. Oh that would be fun. She could have a human pet; she'd be free from being bored for a while at least. Rae might find amusement in it as well, considering how much he loved games. She smiled at the thought and froze when her eyes focused.

"M-Miss?" Freya could feel her eyes widen a bit and her mouth flattened into a line. 'Oh dear god it's not speaking to me is it? What am I meant to freaking say? What if it expects me to feed it? I don't remember what humans eat! Should I take it to Fourth? No...wait Fourth would just eat him. Well it would be entertaining at the very lea--' The human had said something and Freya missed it. She blinked a few times while he seemed to be waiting for a response and she frowned.

"What...?" He had a confident smile on his face. Strange considering he nearly became a meal in the streets just a few moments before. Once she registered what it was he had actually said, Freya took her hands out of her pockets and ran one of them through her hair. "Oh. Leave the...city. Right." She stared at him for a moment and chewed her lip. She had no idea what she was meant to do now. She knew that he needed to be kept in a place where they could watch him. But she didn't really want him trashing her home. She grumbled and tried to rub away the beginning of a headache. "Yeah. Yeah okay come on follow me. Are you going to handle being in that crowd again or would you prefer a quieter route?" The words were out before she even had a chance to process them.
