Normal Form
Title: "The Cold Steel"
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Nationality: American
Race: Human
Role: Assault/Stealth
Race: Human
Written Description:
Standing at around 6", Asher is quite tall. He has a slight muscle build; not too much, but it's visible. He usually wears a black hoodie accompanied by an orange T-shirt and a pair of jeans. This form appears as normal as any other person, so it's hard to mistake the fact that he can be something else.
In his full soul release form, Asher gains white hair on the front side. His clothes change into a black coat with buttons on the sides of the front, the neck covering the bottom portion of Asher's face. There is also a coat tail that only covers Asher's right side of his leg, ending in a design that looks to be actually tears at the end. A cold aura surrounds the form, though it is invisible.
His partial soul release form consists of a set of silver hair accompanied by icy blue eyes. The coat changes slightly, the sleeves going from his wrists to half of his upper arm. Gauntlets with loose, white fabric attached is revealed. Asher also wears a silver Gothic (Medieval Gothic) style crucifix on his neck.
Personality
In terms of being social, Asher is very social. He can be quite a friend, the kind that would sit next to you at the bar... 3 years from now when he can go into one. He is very open about his emotions and feelings towards the other team members, telling them what they feel if they ask but also knowing when to shut up. In spare time, Asher can be somewhat mischievous when bored, going around and socializing with the other members if they have nothing to do, even helping them with their tasks so long as he won't be so bored. It's also hard to piss him off, though it's a rare sight to see him in that state. While times don't call for it in every minute, Asher always has his guard up. This is because of his past, which may at times try to grab hold of him.
Asher can be described as cunning in battle. Being trained in various martial arts, Asher can easily turn from defensive to offensive tactics. His skills with the sword and his own powers show this, and most people can easily get dispatched by a quick thrust with his metal or his fist.
Asher had not revealed anything about his past and the organization that's chasing him to the team... not yet, at least.
Asher commonly uses his partial soul release form, as it is one that makes him unrecognizable to the people that try to chase him. Only in dire situations would Asher use his full soul release form and go full power.
Partial Soul Release
Appearance:
Partial: Asher's hair had now turned silver, and his height had lowered to 5"8'. In this form, Asher has multiple swords for fighting, and he sports a black attire. His eyes had changed. Not physically, but somehow it was made to be more intimidating. Asher seems to have more muscles, but not much more than it's noticeable. Lastly, Asher has an aura of a leader. Intimidating if an enemy, but caring and a great companion if an ally.
Full: Asher's silver hair becomes black, except for a few bangs on the facial side of his head. Asher sports a full jacket and a more speed-oriented body rather than the bulkier partial soul release form. Two blue daggers are at his hands all the time in this form, a form only used for battle.
Source: Strategy and using as much resources as he can to win. Asher had a preference to temperature, once experimenting how something reacts in the cold and fire because of his childhood curiosities.
Power/Weapon: Ice manipulation and summoning swords. With his powers over ice, Asher is able to send icicles at targets and maybe even freeze something. However, the most common use for Asher is to freeze the air and seemingly spawn icicles out of nowhere as well as making orbs that levitate midair until Asher commands them to take the shape of a spear and fly at enemies (the latter only for full soul release form). Ice is also a way to actually allow Asher to travel faster,
Asher can also summon swords, actual or ice. They are usually lightweight, but extremely durable and flexible nonetheless. They come in the forms of Japanese katanas, European Knight's swords, small curved daggers, one handed short swords, and more. Asher's weakness between all of them is that he has to be well-rounded to make this power versatile, allowing for no single sword-style to gain or lose experience in comparison to others.
While Asher can use these powers freely and can easily spawn what he needs, they still take a bit of mind power to use. Summoning swords would be more costly than to actually freeze air and create an ice blade. As of now, by using most of his energy, Asher can spawn 10 blades at once.
Partial Soul Release: A power Asher managed to make during his time with the Infinity Teem. Asher is able to cross his normal self with his Soul Released self in order to make an entirely new form. In this form, Asher has access to wielding one sword at a time, as well as a weakened version of his ice manipulation.
Full Soul Release
Asher is a normal boy early in his life. Good grades, good behavior, he was on a path to greatness. He had practically everything, that goody-two-shoes down on the street. Yup, it's just too good to be true.
At the age of 14, everything went downhill. While his family used to be in a large corporation that made thousands of dollars each month, that corporation ran illegal business behind the scenes... and Asher. As one day- specifically on Asher's birthday- the S.W.A.T. team came in. They arrested Asher's parents and had Asher go into an orphanage of some kind of foster home. It was in one of those homes that Asher met someone from a secret organization. Asher immediately left the horrible life of an orphan in order to go to this society at the age of 11.
In the organization, there was a sort of project going on in bringing out a person's true form. Asher was used as a lab rat in these experiments, which succeeded during an experiment in the age of 15. Because of this, Asher was tested on even more, eventually fully bringing out his true form- his Soul Release Form. Asher was then trained in the arts of battle (multiple forms ranging from guns to swords to fists) since his Soul Release Form looked to be more for battling. He was also given lessons on various languages, including Japanese, Italian, German, French, and Spanish, in case he would be used in foreign countries. Continued testing occurred until he was hospitalized after collapsing. This occurrence happened for 5 months.
At the age of 16, Asher realized what was going on around him. They were using him. They didn't care if he died or not- they wanted him to be a lab rat. So eventually, Asher, using his soul form, escaped from the organization and hid himself among the public. In the city of Gigatopia, Asher met the Infinity Teen Squad. Full of people and non-people with powers, just like him. Feeling somewhat at home, Asher stayed with them and helped them in their missions. While he doesn't really say it himself, Asher did become a member of this group.
Other:
Okay. We did this before, so I don't see why you want to do this again. (Because I have to.) Since when did you have to? (It's a part of the rules.) But why again? (It's another roleplay.) *sigh* Fine. I guess having a different name would not change a thing, huh? Ahem.... GO INFINITY!
Character Thoughts Towards Others:
The Team
Mr. Switch "I can understand why he dislike saying 'Go Infinity!' so much... Though one of these days, his tongue might get cut by someone who's had enough of his depressing words."
Yuki Kaneko "You know, I seriously am a bit cautious around the quiet ones. They can hide way too many things about themselves just by saying nothing at all. However, I'm glad Yuki didn't turn out to be some freaky alien serving some being made of data, created by some secretly-OP God-like person from this whole entire group, or maybe a long-living being from the afterlife who's the servant of Go- Wait......."
KinkyCosplayer "........ I know you can't control how you end up.. Hell, I'm not even close to being a Christian (Referencing the Gothic crucifix)... But..... That girl....... I don't want to say anything... Maybe Yuki would know but I trust her not to tell the girl... However, if it comes to her personality, she's as crazy as any other teenager on this planet. In a good way."
Eva Watson "Hm... You'd think there would be a reason that would be a bit more... dramatic... for becoming a super hero. However, I'm not complaining since if I say the wrong thing, I'd probably get stabbed by my own sword... or a knife..." Asher laughs nervously.
Alice the Super Assassin "Er.... I really don't want to question her.... well, anything, really. Can we just... move on...?"
The Villains
Auratic ".... That gem of hers interests me...."
Flaming Lightning "Someone to take very seriously. No playing around him, nu-uh."
Scatter Shot "Powers are annoying to deal with, extreme hatred against her- What the hell? I haven't even done anything against him and now he's gunning for m- (*Shot*)."
#5 "The reason why lolitas creep me out whenever I try to watch anime or read manga... She's still second on that list, below that certain other one...."
