"Are you getting commission for every case of blood poisoning you cause, or is it a hobby? Not to mention you've not even attempted to check for any underlying muscle or organ damage, and seem to have forgotten that the blood vessels don't just magically stop bleeding just because the skin is sewed up. Blood vessels need cautery or they carry on bleeding."
He walked over and examined the stitching.
"So, are you going to let me take over? Or are you planning another wild stab in the dark in the vague direction of medicine?"
Everywhere.
His whole being was on fire. He silently screamed. Why did everything hurt so bad?

"You should have attempted some proper anesthetic, but seeing as you decided to go the medieval route that'll have to do to stop adding additional trauma to the big list of problems that we currently have."
It was hardly ideal, but morphine was better than sticking needles and scalpels into tissue with fully functioning nerves.
She was insane, she knew she was. “Unpredictable,” she whispered. She didn’t know what she would do next, there was no way that the young girl could trust herself. As far as her parents knew she’d gone missing over a week ago, and now here she was standing in front of the very asylum she’d been searching for. She was covered in deep scratches, dry blood and current running blood. Why? Because the voices had told her to do it and she’d listened. They quieted down when she listened frequently.
Nicole took a few steps up to the building. She needed help and she knew it, she just didn’t know if the voices would let her do so. Would they leave her be if she entered here, if she got true help. “People are troublesome and cruel,” the voice spoke. “Haven’t you learned!” Another shouted. “They’ll beat your head in with a bat and leave you be to bleed out!” The voices continued on as she reached out, clicking the doorbell and committing herself to hell.

Nikki had been shown to her room. "Mwoa." She said while yawning. It didn't mean anything, it was just the sound she usually made while yawning. "I hate it here." She muttered, closing her eyes and thinking about Soul. He had soft ears and he seemed fairly nice to her. She sat on her bed, wondering to herself. She had just killed her brother. No big deal, he was trying to hurt her anyways, so she had to defend herself and cut his throat with her cards. "Hmph." She said puffing her cheeks out.

Once that was done she removed her watch, and any potentially sharp objects on her person, placing them inside. Shortly after she pulled on her protective vest over her uniform, fastening the straps around her ribs. It was rapidly becoming a necessity considering the lax security of the place, and how many sharp objects seemed to be floating around. If someone tried to stab her it would not be the first time.
Indeed work as a guard was not Miss Fox's ideal profession, but it was a steady job and she needed a regular income considering the changes in her life of late. Perhaps when things settled down she could find a vocation less hazardous to her health, but until then, she had patrols to run. Pulling on some gloves and getting her ID, Lyda made her way out into the corridor.
Soul hopped out of his bed and walked to a cabinet absentmindedly, looking for sticky rice. No, no, that's brown rice, that's jasmine, that's long-grain, that's...okay. Victory. He reached towards it, even though it was too high for him in the cabinet. Soul tried to stretch out his body, and he sighed. "I'm going to have to climb." He said unhappily as he wiggled his way onto the counter and stood ontop of it. Now, he could grab the rice, and hopefully without falling flat on his little back. He grabbed the rice and held it like the Statue of Liberty holds her fire beacon.
Soul hopped down and scuttled his way towards another cabinet to find a rice cooker. Once he was successful, he began cooking the rice. "Let's see. Filling. Oh, I wonder. Should I make one for Nikki?" He asked himself, and so he did. He went to the sink and washed his hands and then dried them, to sit down and pack round rice balls, or, onigiri. He put a plum in the middle to give it a sweet taste, and he did that to his too. He packed another one for Diana, well, for later atleast, and he happily put it in the refrigerator to preserve for later.
Grabbing a plate, he set the rice balls on it and turned off the rice cooker, and he slipped on his purple sweater he had and wrapped Diana's scarf around his neck and grabbed the plate again, walking out of his cell to find Nikki. He called out Nikki's name in each hallway to try and find her.

He arrived on scene a couple of minutes after Art, and caught Art administering morphine from a bottle. For a minute he seemed alarmed at the poor condition of the inmate laying on the floor, but when he took a breath, his instincts began to kick in.
"What happened to him?" Drauss asked Art, nonplussed. He pulled a fresh pair of latex gloves from the pocket of his coat and strapped them on. "I received a page saying there was internal bleeding."

"Well an alert went off about an injury. The inmate attacked his abdomen with a piece of glass. Five laceration injuries, I'm not sure how deep they are or whether any penetrated the abdominal wall. Doctor Misato apparently arrived before me and decided to apply pressure on the wound...with her coat, before withdrawing it and immediately stitching the lacerations closed, without antiseptic or pain relief. I've just administered morphine, but the actual wounds themselves are more your territory." he replied, attempting to regain a professional persona, though he was rather irritated by the incident.

"We need a trolley," he told Art. "Keep him stable until I get back." He stopped by the locker room to scrub up, then raced downstairs to prepare the operating room for surgery. Though he was stressed and rushed, he ensured that he was careful, and that he had everything that he would need-- he couldn't afford to waste time tracking down lost tools when there was work to be done.
He arrived again a few minutes later, trolley in tow. "Help me get him up. I don't know how much time he has." He was already unconscious, and Drauss was not willing to estimate without a clear look at the internal damage.

A small part of him felt oddly envious... Perhaps dying were the only way to escape this Hell. And it was that, wasn't it? A hell filled with needle-armed demons, patrolling a fortress of unnatural, gleaming white. It reminded him of hell, anyway, or at least, his idea of eternal damnation.
He began rocking back and forth, slowly, trying to block out the voices in the corridors, and those in his head.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seeyanne emerged from her room, cocking her head curiously. She hadn't managed to find anything sharp enough to make herself bleed, and was feeling sort of down. She'd been disturbed from a quiet cat-nap by staff members rushing up and down the hall frantically. Something excitingly dreadful must be going on, and she couldn't wait to see. She tiptoed down the hall as doctors raced past her, heading into one room. An unknown staff member with a trolley nearly knocked her off feet as he sped past, and she wondered if they would be too distracted to note her peeking inside to see what the drama was about.
Her fingers wrapped around the door frame, and, exposing as little of herself as possible, she peered in and saw an unconcious, blood-smeared form that looked oddly familiar to her. She rubbed her eyes in confusion, before it registered. "Ezra?"
Many of the doctors on seen looked clueless as to what to do with her new friend, who surely must have lost a lot of blood.... Blood.... Her skin crawled with delight at the thought of vibrant red leaving her body in perfect release....
However, that would have to wait, because right now, she needed to make sure her friend was alright. Unless, of course, he didn't want to be alright, in which case it would make her a terrible person to let these doctors save him. She pulled at her hair in frustration. The decision at hand were a tough one.
She decided to remain awkwardly in the door, simply observing the process, for the time being.

Now he had a rush of different steps to make, racing around his head. He wanted to close the door and disapear into himself again, let the Others take over, let the Other fill his head with deranged ideas, which whilst sometimes disturbing, ere always comforting, simply because those voices were not him, or at least, not a part of himself that he identified with. Another part of him wanted to see if the female was alright, seeing as she had fallen over, but he was still angry at her for interrupting his quiet time. So he released that rage, by strolling towards her, grabbing her shoulder, and yelling.
"Excuse me! What gives you the right to go bumping into stuff when I'm trying to relax! You're incredibly, incredibly ruse, and I don't even want to talk to you, but you made me mad, so mad, you horrible person! Explain yourself before I get even madder and like, explode or something!", he said, his words a little jumbled, as speaking to people in general was out of habit, and hence, unpractised.

She looked at him, smiling slightly. "Are you new here? You better hope Dr. Sly doesn't get you. I haven't had him yet, but I here he's cruel."

He gazed the girl up and down, and iched back towards his door, still facing her, so he may retreat when need be. He sure hoped he wouldn't ened up having to have a full-on conversation with her! That would not make his day any much better.
"Oh yeah, I heard of that guy... doesn't sound much fun to me, no way, no, no, no", Harlem said, his words descending into a soft mutter as graphic images of a grim future flooded his mind. "But if he gets me now, it'll be your fault for being so noisy". His eyes went wide. "Wait, are you, like, a spy? You're in on it with the doctors, aren't you? Yeah, you're bad, bad, bad".
He dropped to the floor, sprawled in the door way to his room, half-sitting, half-laying with a cautious look at the female. "I don't need no doctor. I'm sane, you know?"

Dante was on patrol. He had heard several new patients had arrived in the asylum and he couldn't wait to play. Especially since he had heard a few of these newcomers had been behaving in a less then pliable manner, and Dante thought something out to be done about that. He sighted a pair of patients at the end of the hall, and smiling to himself at the wonderful things he might do, began his approach.
He placed his hand on the back of the female patient's neck, and grinned wickedly, stopping her in her tracks. He looked across at the wide eyed male patient, who was retreating back into his room, as if the rooms were safe havens, and said "You're next".
He examined the female as he held her, excellent ideas pouring through his mind. "Ah, you must be the one who's been causing some trouble for my colleages. That's not very nice. What say you come with me, like a good girl, and we'll see what we can do about your attitude problem?"

He lead her into one of the large, white, circular rooms used for treatments, and ordered her to get up and lay down on the table in the centre of the room. She would obey if she knew what was good for her. He paged the office for a copy of her file, and did a little research. "Prone to hallucinations, under close watch from guards... Bleeds too easily?", he asked curiously, a spark of excitement akin to arousal gleamed in his eyes. "It's not all that elaborate, your file. I guess I'll have to study you myself".
He had several new 'toys' he was eager to test run, and this troublesome patient would seem the perfect subject.

If you have a decent explanation, It'll be fine. I really don't like real pictures though.

I like the second option a lot, as I have an idea for his background.
Thanks! Sorry with all the questions XD

Re: [OOC] The Insane Asylum
Also, one more question.
Is it okay if the character picture I provide, the boy has cat ears? Because I'm finding really cute pictures of neko boys, but I don't want the ears.
So maybe, you could just ignore the ears?
Or perhaps the ears could be part of one of his "tests"?
Just wondering ahead of time! <3
