Introduction

Image

Dear ________,
My name is Cedric Kaelin. I send you this letter to cordially invite you to stay at my home on the Island of ΞΏ λύκος for three whole months. If you decide you like it here you may stay. It is located off the shore of the Bahamas. A boat will meet you at the dock, and then bring you to the island where both of my two siblings will be waiting to escort you to the estate. Oh, ______, I know what you are. You are a werewolf and I know this because I myself am one as well. I'm sure you have many questions, don't you? If you accept this invitation and come all your questions will be answered then by me, personally. I forgot to mention, if you must fly to the Bahamas your plane ticket is already paid for, all expenses on me. Here, my friend, you do not have to hide what you are, we are one in the same. I do hope to see, and finally meet you face to face soon.
P.S Please remember to bring a few warm changes of clothes; it gets a bit windy during the evening and night hours.
Your Alpha,
Cedric

The Plot-
The plot is pretty simple and basic. Three siblings, three extremely wealthy siblings own their own private island. They're werewolves, just like yourself(or your character that is.) They've lived on the island for a couple of years because there they do not have to hide what they are. The "Alpha," or oldest brother, which ever you prefer, decided he was tired of being selfish, having the island all to themselves when there were other Werewolves out there like them.. Who were in hiding. Who could not walk outside and simply shift like he could. So he started doing research. Across the globe he discovered other werewolves. How? You're just going to have to ask him. He sent them a letter, inviting them to come share in the "glory" of his island and home. However, it was not just Werewolves he invited. He also invited Half-Breeds. Half-Breeds are a type of Werewolf, they are just not "Pure Blooded." A half breed is created either by being bitten on a full moon by a pure blooded werewolf, or by having one parent who is a werewolf, and one parent who isn't. Most pure blooded werewolves do not like the idea of the half breeds, therefore Cedric did not mention them in his letter.
Surprised? Well, I'm about to knock your socks off..
During the whole mess of sending other Werewolves a letter of invite, Cedric also sent a letter to a certain vampire he met a few years back. You see, two months ago Cedric Kaelin noticed another island about fifty miles away from his own. On that island was a Coven of vampires. Two weeks later prior to that he received a letter on the doorstep of his home. How? That's what he's been trying to figure out. Anyways, it was a letter threatening Cedric. An attack would be reigned on his island soon, and there would be blood. So, to be honest, Cedric sent letters to the other werewolves for help. However, he is not going to tell them about this attack on his island until they're already on the island.. With no way to escape. He is a tricky fellow, I tell you!
Okay, back to the other vampire I was telling you about, the one he sent a letter to. This guy is a fairly old fellow, one who has been around awhile. He sent him a letter inviting him to the island also, but this guy got the whole scoop. The vampire is coming to the island to train Cedric, his siblings, and the other werewolves that come in the ways to kill/slaughter his own kind. Cedric figures he will also train the other, less experienced werewolves, how to fight properly in general; he guesses many will not know how.

But there are questions left unknown, for you to answer. Will you go to the island? Will you help defend it? Will you even survive your trip to the Island of ΞΏ λύκος?

(If you have any questions feel free to ask me, or my little Co-GM, AugustaBlaze, through OOC or PM. We don't bite too hard, honest! ;D)

The Extra Info. You Need To Know-

Werewolves:
β–Ί When they shift they do not lose all their clothes. Their clothes do, however, tend to be ripped up a little once they shift back to their human form.
β–Ί They can shift at will, but on the Full Moon they are forced to shift.
β–Ί Most do not like Vampires or Half-Breeds, what about you?
β–Ί Many have wolf-like qualities about them, and are addicted to meat..
β–Ί Their blood can heal each other and humans/other beings. However, they are forbidden to heal anyone besides their own kind. (This is helpful in battle) How it works is the injured person must drink some of the werewolves blood. It depends on the wound how much is needed. Their blood tastes sweet, and actually not like blood at all..
β–Ί Due to their sweet tasting blood, most are slaughtered by vampires for it. (When they're not being killed out of pure anger/hatred)
β–Ί They can communicate telepathically with each other, only in their wolf forms, however.
β–Ί They can expose their "wolf teeth" in their human form, which mostly consists of their canines enlongating, etc. This happens when they're angry, annoyed, just want to show them, and so on..
β–Ί Silver does bother them a bit, only if it's pure and penetrates their skin somewhere. ( Some have more of a reaction to it then others)
β–Ί I'll add more if I think of anything else..

Half-Breeds:
β˜… They are just like regular, pure-blooded werewolves, however, they have a little harder time when shifting.
β˜… After they shift most are extremely wore out and have to sleep it off.
β˜… Many have to practice control over their anger, because sometimes a half-breed can simply shift out of nowhere over anger issues.
β˜… They do not heal as quickly as pure-blooded werewolves, it takes them hours longer. It is advised if a half-breed gets a deep wound they are attended to immediately, getting werewolf blood consumption somehow.
β˜… I'll add more if I think of anything else..

Vampires:
✿ They're more of a "modern day" vampire.
✿ They DO NOT burst into flames out in the sun.. Or sparkle. However, their skin is a little more "sun sensitive;" they get really bad sun burns if they do not use sun screen. :P
✿ Most vampires do drink from Humans, but there are a few who drink from animals. They're not as strong with it though.
✿ Vampires actually like the taste of Werewolf blood, some, they very few that have got to try, say it is better than human blood. Alas, there are not many who can get close enough to do so.
✿ The only way to kill a vampire is to rip their heads off, burn their bodies, and bury the ashes.
✿ It takes two vampires to take down one large, full-grown werewolf.
✿ Their speed and strength is greater than any humans, double it, actually.
✿ They can see well at night.
✿ They can actually sleep and eat regular food if they'd like. However, sleep is not required, more of a way to pass the endless time, and food does not really satisfy them. They need blood to survive.
✿ I'll add more if I think of anything else..

The Island-
۞ It rains a lot on the island, and you never know when. All of a sudden the sky will just open up.. And cry. Storms are a bit rare, but it happens..
۞ On the island, towards the center around the fresh water waterfalls, Cedric has set up a training ground. You will spend a lot of your time there.
۞ All around, up in the trees, everywhere, Cedric has set up cameras for the vampires purposes. But be warned, he knows where you're at and what you're doing at pretty much all times.
۞ There is one place Cedric forgot to set up a camera, and that is a freshwater cave towards the middle of the island, it's hidden behind Waterfall One.
۞ There is a path that leads to a small, open meadow close to the waterfalls in the center of the island. They lead to two large trees which are known as the "Climbing Trees," they have many branches for climbing.
۞ I'll add more if I think of anything else..

The Rules-
1. Proper grammar and spelling..We're begging you! Sure, we understand typos, we have them all the time! But try, please. And if you actually don't know how to spell any advanced words use Google. [:

2. Make your character detailed, not a book but we want to know your character.. No personality is "You just gotta meet her/him," and for the history be creative, but don't take the usual route of complete chaos; there are normal people out there.

3. Stick to the plot, please. No creating your own fantasies and throwing random drama about, pulling it from thin air. It confuses members.. Or, well, at least it confuses AugustaBlaze ;). If you want to make major drama, PM one of us first.

4. This will be a Literate role play, but not crazy literate..We're not expecting you to write a biography of the character, but for every single post we want understanding of what is going on with your character. We want to feel every emotion, see every sight, taste whatever it may be, hear every sound. Anything. Also, please don't have your post be nothing but summaries of other players actions with one little something from your own character at the end. People react to things, show me that. Minimum of 300 words please and there is no maximum, but really..Don't make it extremely long, we don't wanna read a book. Also, we know we say detail, but as for sex- you can make out until the clothes come off, then it's *Fades to black* or something like that. Swearing we don't mind, we use it frequently ourselves. ;) However, not in every other sentence, please.

5. You may either OOC or PM us to reserve a slot. If you'd rather just submit a character, that's fine too but you cannot submit characters for any reserved/taken slots. If you REALLY want a reserved slot, wait. Reservations last 24 hours. After that, I PM you- you have 12 hours to respond. If you do, I can extend your reservation another 24 hours. If not, your spot will be opened. Please try to get characters in as fast as possible. We are very impatient. ;P

6. If you're not accepted, we are very sorry. We're sure you're wonderful, but just not for our plot. :) We will not accept any Illiterate role players/Poorly done character sheets.

7. You have to read everything. How can you understand your role if you haven't read it? Plus we worked our asses and brains off on this thing role play! :O If you've read everything please put the word Seashell somewhere in your character sheet for me to find.

8. You must be able to post a minimum of three times a week. That's pretty generous. We have many rough times posting ourselves. Also, don't get two posts in and leave. If you're taking too long in between posts, we'll PM you. If you don't speed up, I'll creatively kill off your character and open your slot to anyone else.

9. We'll love you forever if you play more than one character! :D Especially if you grab up one of those "Evil Vampire" slots! [:

10. Obey me, 106.Whit(;, and my bestest pal AugustaBlaze or pay the consequences! We will banish you from our creatively created kingdom. ;D

If you have ANY questions at all, or ideas please PM me or AugustaBlaze. We will help you in any way possible, and we're always ready for a new idea! :D Anything to keep the role play fun and exciting. If you have a problem with anything PM us as well. Thank you for taking the time to check out this role play! Hope to be role playing with you soon! [:
Sincerely,
The GM and Co-GM :)

Cedric, Gabriel, and Briony-

The sun danced across the Island of ΞΏ λύκος, bringing with it a stifling temperature. The temperature was exactly ninety-four degrees, dropping, and there was a light breeze coming from the South. This was a regular day for the place, but who knew when a rain shower would sweep into the area. One thing was certain, however, when the sun began to set the temperature would drop and the breeze would become a little more stern. Luckily, the sun would start setting in a hour at the most. The Kaelin's mansion sat smack dab in the middle of the island, right at the edge of where the sand met the dense forestry that seemed to go on forever. Standing on the front porch of the house was Cedric Kaelin himself, a small, silver device pressed to his ear. He peered out across the vast, sparkling water in front of him.
"On your way? Good," he said, his deep voice level. He had a concentrated look on his face. On the other end of the line was Ethan Hart, a friend Cedric met a few years back. This friend of his was also a vampire, and unknown to his siblings. He turned, facing in the direction of another island barely fifty miles away and scold under his breath. "Just remember, you aren't what you are.. You're.. Well, you know what we discussed earlier." Cedric went on, glancing over his shoulder towards the front door. He couldn't really talk about the whole scenario right then since his brother, Gabriel, and sister, Briony, were suppose to be out anytime; they had hearing like a hawk, and could most likely hear him through the door speaking. "See you when you get here," he added before immediately shutting his cellphone and sliding it into his blue jean short's right pocket.

"Who were you talking to, your girlfriend?" A voice asked from behind him, sounding smug. He could almost hear the smirk in Briony's words as he turned around, arching a careful, dark eyebrow. "What are you talking about?" he asked casually, leaning back against smooth, wooden railing on the porch.
"You know what I'm talking about, don't play me for a fool!" Brion snapped quickly, placing her balled up hands at her hips. Cedric grinned, turning around to face the beach, the water, once more. "Humph," Briony grumbled, walking over to stand at his left, leaning on the railing as well. "It was your ggiirrlllfriieendd, wasn't it? Just tell me!" she teased in a sing-song voice, meeting her brother's gaze. Her emerald eyes glinted with amusement, causing a growl to form in his chest.
"I do not have a girlfriend, and you know that." Cedric said, voice harsher than he intended as his gaze flickered back to the waves rolling up the white sanded shore. "To Hell you don't!" Briony shouted abruptly, pushing him with little force; he barely moved at her poor attempt. "You were talking to that Shelia chick last night on the phone!" she defended,

"That was Brandy, get it right, Brion," Gabriel butted-in as he walked past both of them, a devilish smirk on his light pink lips. He had slipped out the side door, having heard their conversation, and of course he had to comment. Why miss a opportunity to mess with Cedric? The eldest brother's growl was clear this time, originating from his chest as he cast them both glares that could possibly send a lion cowering in fear. Brion glanced away and Gabe simply crossed his arms. "Well, am I wrong?" he asked, tawny eyes rock hard. Cedric jerked his head back, eyes staying narrowed for a few moments before the tension he didn't even know was there relaxed from in between his shoulder blades.
"Our guests will be here soon. You both need to get down to the dock now to wait for them. Take turns bringing the groups up, then going back for others. I'll wait inside for them," Cedric ordered, dodging the question completely, turning from them both and walking into the house swiftly. Brion looked at Gabe and he looked back, at the same moment laughs tumbled from their mouths. Briony shook her head, running a slender hand back through her thick, dark brown waves. "He is so full of himself, it's ridiculous!" she gushed, walking past her brother, hopping down the steps. She wasn't wearing any shoes, like always, she ran barefoot pretty much everywhere on the island, it was great. A faint smile crossed her lips at the familiar feel of sand between her toes. She wiggled them briefly, casting a glance over her shoulder at Gabe who was walking down the steps.

"I'm telling you, Cedric must sneak out and take the boat to the mainland when we're asleep. How else would he get all these chicks' numbers?" he grunted, sounding a bit jealous of the fact that Cedric had women calling him and he did not. Briony rolled her green orbs, making her way across the sand slowly, towards the long dock that was a short distance away from the house. "You know.. We have Internet. Maybe he got their numbers there, hmm?" she said a bit cockily, laughing as his large hand roughly shoved her shoulder and she stumbled to the left a half inch. "Hey!" she hissed, glancing at Gabriel who was chuckling, grinning as if he had really got away with something. Brion stopped and turned, pushing him hard with both hands. Gabe stumbled back, giving an instinctive growl that he could not stop, "What was that for?!" he asked, cutting his blue eyes at her. "For pushing me," Brion answered flatly, but her eyes truly showed her emotions; Gabe knew she was just messing with him. A smile tugged at his lips and he pushed her gently once more before he started walking again. She fell in step beside him, sighing softly. Gabriel cast her a sideways glance, "What's up?" he asked,
Briony kicked at the sand lightly with her bare left foot, "What do you think these wolves are going to be like?" she questioned, and Gabe looked away to keep from giving her an exasperated expression he knew he would regret. Only Brion would answer a question with one. "I don't know, like us?" he said, rubbing the back of his neck out of habit. Brion grunted, and sprinted forward suddenly, doing a quick cartwheel as she laughed. "No one is like me, Gabby, I'm unique!" she explained, throwing her hands up into the air dramatically. Gabriel chuckled, shaking his head, "You're just weird, Brion, not unique." he joked, eyes flickering to the dock that was not, now, ten feet away from them. No one here yet, he thought, yawning and placing a hand in front of his face as he glanced upward at the sky. He could not wait until the sun would start to go down.

Briony walked onto the dock, feet hardly making a sound at all, footsteps agile and paced precisely so. She walked toward the end, pausing as a sound was heard. It was distant at first, then got louder. She turned around swiftly, grinning at Gabe whose eyes had widened. "That damn dog has followed us!?" he groaned, looking back. Mouse, Briony's Great Dane, was dashing through the sand, large paws making indents in the soft surface as he moved them. His running was not graceful; the large dog seemed to trip over his awkwardly long limbs as he moved. "That is a disgrace to all dogs," Gabriel went on as he arrived at the end of the dock. Brion quickly slapped his chest with the back of her hand, crouching down with a laugh. "Mouse!" she shouted, the dog making loud 'thumping' noises as his padded paws crossed the freshly fixed dock. Making it to Brion the huge animal's tail began to wag as he licked the side of her face. This caused her to laugh a bit louder, jerking her head away quickly. "You crazy dog, why did you follow us?!" she exclaimed, running her hands down his neck and across his ears. Mouse gave a bass sounding bark, and at the same time Gabriel nudged her shoulder. Briony looked up at him, standing slowly, "What?" she asked, quirking a brow. Gabe nodded ahead, "I believe a few guests will be arriving soon," he murmured, Mouse plopping down behind them.
Brion shielded her face with her left hand, squinting and peering out into the distance. There, she saw a boat, with a couple passengers aboard it. She took a deep breath, glancing at her brother. "I hope this was a good idea, because if not I'm kicking Cedric's ass." she grumbled,

Eva walked down her street, her heels tapping against the pavement rhythmically. She passed few people on her way to her small home, a fact that made her quite happy. Ahead, she could see a shadow sitting in the front window of her home. Her lips curled into a smile as she rummaged through her small purse, easily finding her keys. The moment she opened the door, happiness flooded into her being as a black dog with tan markings bounded it's way into the front hall of the house. The door closed and her laughter bubbled throughout the house as she knelt beside the dog, allowing him to lick her face once or twice. She scratched behind his ears lovingly before gently nudging him off her lap and standing.

A soft whine almost stopped Eva as she made her way into the kitchen, dropping her purse and keys on the counter. The dog followed her, watching her every move as she pulled out the fixings for a mid afternoon meal. Soon, the scent of some type of soup filled the kitchen and she inhaled through her nose, enjoying the pleasant smell of her cooking. She continued to move about the kitchen as she prepared her meal. A lull in her cooking made itself known and the dog took it's opportunity and sat itself at her feet.

"Now, Sanders, you can't be hungry once again," the words were spoken in a thick Russian accent.

Another whine from the dog, now revealed to be Sanders, confirmed Eva's thoughts and she sighed lightly before making her way to a food bin. She twisted the lid open and grabbed a scoop from the ground beside the bin. She scooped out a generous amount of the dog food and poured it into a bowl a few feet away from the bin. Sanders yipped happily before burying his nose into the bowl. Eva smiled and put the lid back on the bin before walking to the sink and washing her hands.

Just as she went to pour herself a bowl of soup, the sound of the door bell ringing stopped her. She growled in aggravation and stalking her way to the front door. After calming her appearance, she opened the door, a bit surprised to see a man in a mail man uniform. The man asked her name.

"Evana Pasternak, do you have something for me?" she spoke, toning her accent down as best as she could so the man would understand her.

He nodded as he handed her an envelope with her name and address written neatly. She thanked him quietly as she shut the door. She paused just a few feet from the door, wondering how this little envelope was so important that it had to be hand delivered. With a slight shrug, she opened the envelope carefully. She pulled out a letter, her eyes widening at the first words she spied, 'I know what you are.'

She shook her head, not believing that someone actually knew her origins. Her eyes darted back and forth as she read the letter from beginning to end. Her brows furrowed as she pondered this information. Someone truly knew what she was, and they wanted her to come stay on their island. A single question rang through her mind.

Why not?

----------------------------------------------

The next day found Eva boarding a boat in the Bahamas. The plane ride had been uneventful, as she had been on many planes in her lifetime. She smiled at the boat driver, not surprised when the gruff man didn't return the gesture. She whistled and Sanders leaped onto the boat, his tail wagging as he curled onto one of the seats. Eva shook her head and set all of her luggage into a storage chest inside the boat. She told boat driver that she was prepared to leave and he nodded. Eva took a seat just as the boat began to pull forward. A single spark of doubt flashed through her mind, though the thought came too late for her to really change her plans of going to this mysterious island.

Could it be a trap?

Ethan & Dustin

Ethan knew Dustin would be getting a letter from his friend, Cedric Kaelin, almost a week before the letter actually came. He had been informed that he would tell everyone she was a half-breed, that is until Cedric thought it was right to tell them he truth. Ethan was a vampire, not your normal one either. He stretched as he stood on his porch on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the fresh air was delicious, the warm breeze was comfortable, and the water seemed to be begging for you to come play in it. Ethan stayed put though, he told Dustin he would be training her to learn how to use her wolf. The attack was still fresh on his mind, the smell of blood had led him straight to her small body. The wolf had bit her on the side and left her to dead..what was he suppose to do? About that time a small voice was heard behind him.

"What are we training for today?" Dustin asked, having silently walked in behind him. Ethan had jumped off the porch with a hiss and looked up at her, "Damn Dustin! How are you so quiet?!" He asked, trying to hide the hostility in his voice. Dustin picked up on it though, her lip twitched as she fought back a small growl. "Well it's not my fault!" She grumbled, trying to hide the smugness in her voice..she tried but it failed as she smirked. "Well, you may not be a fighter but you are silent. Let's get to work." Ethan said, chuckling as Dustin hopped off the porch and shifted in mid-air. The small girl replaced with a smaller wolf. "Alright, first lesson. Running." Ethan mumbled, before taking off. He had glance back to make sure the small white wolf was even following, to his surprise she was keeping up and silently too. The next few days Ethan tried to train her to the best he could. Running, in human and wolf form. Sneaking around, in human and wolf form. Both she excelled in, but then the next few had him a little worried. Fighting and attacking. She wouldn't attack, at all. That is until he called her, "Dun." Before he knew what hit him the girl had pounced at him. "Don't call me that!" She growled. Ethan couldn't help but chuckle, "Sorry Dustin, sorry..Dun." He mumbled, teasing her at this point. He didn't expect it but she shifted into a wolf which meant she was mad. And by the sound of the snarl he was getting she was beyond the point of mad. "Calm down, Dustin. I was just messing!" He said quickly, standing up and holding the wolf away from himself. Dustin shifted back, pain in her face as she just was held in the air by Ethan. "Can..can you put me down?" Her small voice a bit harsh, but the pain was laced within the words. Ethan frowned as he did put her down, that was one thing that worried him the most; After shifting Dustin was always worn out, exhausted, and her side would have her in pain for the next few minutes. He followed her into the house, making sure she had her blanket and her stuffed animal.

Dustin knew that Ethan laughed at her stuffed animal behind her back, but she didn't care! Her dad bought it for her after her first ballet solo, so it was a worn out teddy bear. She curled up on the couch, soon she was asleep. Lucky for Ethan Dustin is a sound sleeper, so when the doorbell was rung Dustin didn't even twitch. Ethan went to the door, already knowing what was waiting for him. The mailman. "Hey Don, you know..you can just put the mail in the mailbox." He joked, both of them chuckling as Don handed him a letter. "Not this one Ethan, they told me to hand deliver this one. Must be important. Have a good day Ethan!" Don had said as he had went down the stairs with a wave. Ethan waved back, "You too, man." he called as he shut the door. He looked down at the letter it was for Dustin and one for Ethan..but that didn't stop Ethan from reading Dustin's, since he knew his would be different.

Dear Dustin,
My name is Cedric Kaelin. Oh, Dustin, I know what you are.
Your Alpha,
Cedric

Ethan glanced over at Dustin, it amazed him how innocent and soft her face looked when she was asleep..even more than it does when she was awake. Maybe that's what she could do to get out of fighting. Sleep, no one would attack her then, but then again not everyone was "good". He'd give her an hour or so to rest up then tell her to pack. She didn't have a choice, she was coming and he would make sure of it. He started to pace, but time was moving slow so why not go pack for himself. He packed everything he could possibly ever need, then went into the living room. He grabbed Dustin's shoulder and gave it a gentle shake. "Dun, Dun you gotta wake up!" He said, chuckling when she punched him..or at least tried to. "You got a letter in the mail, come on! "Uh letter?" Dustin asked in a groggy voice. Ethan just nodded and handed her the already open letter. Dustin didn't ask questions about why her letter had already been opened. Many different emotions flashed over her face as she read the letter. "No." She mumbled, but she didn't have a say..right?

--------------------------

The plane ride was anything but comfortable for Dustin, what made it worse was Ethan laughing at her. She had never rode a plane before so she was a bit nervous. Either it was her changing the channel on her little tv, making funny faces at a little kid in front of her, or trying to fall asleep. She was more than happy to get off the plane. Ethan had rented a car to drive to the dock, so on the way there was when Dustin asked most of her questions.

"How come you are coming? You aren't a werewolf." Dustin said, "I'm friends with Cedric, he said I could come to watch out for you." Ethan said glancing over at Dustin. Dustin crossed her arms, "I can take care of myself." She grumbled, making Ethan roll his eyes. "So..this Cedric guy, is he mean? He has two siblings? Dustin mumbled as she looked out the window. "Not mean if he doesn't have to be," Ethan started giving Dustin this look. Dustin just rolled her eyes. "And yeah, he has a younger brother, Gabriel, and a sister, Briony." After that the questions just stopped, or at least Ethan thought they did. "Why are you making me come? It was for werewolves..I'm a half-breed." Dustin had turned to look at Ethan for this question, but his phone started to ring. "Thought it would be nice for you to meet your own kind.." He mumbled, "But-" then he answered the phone, making Dustin just glare at him. "We're on our way." Ethan said with the save leveled voice, "I know, I'll try to be as wolfy as possible." his voice at the same as he chuckled and then hung up. "But nothing, Cedric knows you're a half breed." "But.." "But he's the only one..so don't tell anyone quiet yet. Cedric will do that. And for now I'm a wolf too." Ethan mumbled as he parked, "Wonderful." Dustin snapped, her voice was clear sarcasm as she hopped out and got her bags. Ethan followed and got his bags. He laughed as he looked at Dustin. She had a book bag, another over the shoulder bag, and a huge suitcase that was about as big as she was. "Shut up." The small blonde grumbled as she tried to make her way to the boat. Ethan was in shorts that came down to his knees and a light gray t-shirt, "Aren't you hot?" He asked, looking at Dustin. She just shook her head. She had on shorts and a purple hoodie, "I like my hoodie." She said simply as they finally got on a boat. Ethan knew she was only wearing it for one reason. The boat finally started moving and Ethan could see the dock in the distance, then he caught a glimpse of the other island. He glanced over at Dustin to see her looking down at the water. It wasn't long til they reached the dock. He laughed as Dustin tried to get all her stuff again. "Shut up." She grumbled as she finally got off the boat. That's when she saw two people, a guy and a girl, which made her get quiet. Ethan walked up beside her, which gave Dustin the opportunity to kinda hide behind Ethan. She guessed it was the two siblings. She looked at the two, the girl seemed pretty confident in herself..Ethan said her name was Briony. Then Dustin looked over at the guy, he was huge! Dustin only being 5'2", this guy had to be at least a foot taller and he was muscular. So that must have been Gabe. She looked up at Ethan as he spoke, "Hello." Ethan said politely looking at the two. Dustin's eyes drifted from Ethan to Briony then to Gabe, then she looked back up at Ethan. She had a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach now.

Cedric-

Cedric Kaelin was a bit wary as he pulled into the gravel parking lot of a small bar on the outskirts of town. He ran a large hand back through his short hair as he parked, then grasped the steering wheel with both hands hard. He didn't really know why he was here, then again he did.. He needed time alone, just a couple hours, that's all. He released his grip from the wheel once he heard it start to crack beneath his forceful grasp. Stepping from the black truck he rolled his shoulders back, sighing as he moved towards the entrance. On the way he cast a glance to his right. Two guys stood in the shadows, leaning against the wall there, puffing on cigarettes. They were murmuring under their breath, watching Cedric. He forcefully swallowed the growl that inched up his throat, looking away. Yanking the door out of his way he walked inside, immediately hit with at least eight different scents from eight different people in the room. They were combined with the heavy smell of alcohol and other things he could not quiet pinpoint. Cedric moved towards the bar, his broad frame earning many stares that were intended to be casual glances. He brushed them off, however, with the roll of his light blue eyes.
Upon reaching the bar in slid onto a stool, looking at the bartender who stared at him with hard, brown eyes. He figured he wasn't going to speak, so cleared his throat.
"He'll have a scotch, on me." A voice said before Cedric could even speak, causing him to glance towards his right. He quirked a brow. Sitting there was a tall guy, pretty much as broad as Cedric himself. He wore a lazy grin and pale green eyes. The bartender grumbled something unintelligent under his breath and walked off. The man threw out a hand, "The name is Ethan Hart," he introduced with a plastered on smile. Cedric gazed at his hand a second, as if deciding whether or not he should shake it. Looking back up he grasped the so-called Ethan's hand and shook it firmly. "Cedric Kaelin," he echoed, reaching over and grasping the glass of scotch that was slammed on the bar. He took a swig,
"Nice to meet you," Ethan chuckled, taking a quick drink of whatever was in the dark brown bottle he held. "I don't see many werewolves around here," The guy went on, causing Cedric to tense, every muscle in his body doing so. He cast a glance around the room, no one seemed to notice. "Don't worry about it! Half the people here are drunk off their ass and don't even remember their own names!" Ethan assured, chortling once more as he leaned up against the bar casually.
Cedric cut his gaze, setting down his scotch. He leaned forward, if he was in his wolf form his hackles would have been raised. "How do you know what I am?" he growled in under his breath. A sly grin swept across Ethan's lips as he looked at the wolf, giving a shrug. "I could smell your honey sweet blood the minute you walked in the door, Cedric," he said, sounding so at ease, like they were talking about the weather. A dumbfounded expression glinted across Cedric's face as he leaned back. "What are you?"

After that Ethan had presumed telling Cedric what he was, a vampire, but not your average vampire, that is. He told him about saving a young girl who was attacked by a werewolf, a girl by the name of Dustin. Said that she was staying with him from then on; Cedric was a bit skeptical about that, but said nothing. The vampire mentioned that she was a pretty "confused half-breed." And ever since that night Cedric and Ethan kept in contact here or there. They became pretty good friends.
Shutting the last bedroom door Cedric turned and walked back down the hallway the way he came. He had gave all the rooms a quick once over to make sure they looked presentable, clean. The day before he had Gabriel and Briony cleaning like little minions; of course, he cleaned as well, it was funny though, watching the two run around like chickens with their heads cut off. He was happy that he got to see an old friend of his once more, Ethan was a funny guy, an old guy that could really help him out. And Cedric really needed it. He walked down the long staircase, taking a deep breath of the cool air. He had turned the AC on, knowing that most of the wolves coming would not be use to the heat just yet, and need it; he knew he did the first couple of weeks living on the island. Cedric walked back out on the porch, stuffing his hands into the pockets of his shorts. In his left pocket was the letter from the Coven Master of the other island. He had kept it, and had read it over and over. He gave a disgruntled grunt, pulling the letter from his pocket. It use to be crisp, clean, and white. But now, it had be crumpled repeatedly, and was ripped in the top right corner. Cedric snarled, eyeing the words with a malicious gaze. Shoving it back into his shorts pockets he glanced up, watching as the first boat pulled up to the dock. He just hoped his siblings would not scare their guests away..

Gabriel&Briony

Briony had returned to her crouching position, loving on the large dog who had rolled onto his back so she could scratch his belly. "You are such a user, Mouse," she teased, in return getting an eye roll from Gabriel. "You treat that dog like it's a person or something, Brion." he laughed, watching the first boat get closer and closer to the dock. He could start making out figures now. One was tall and broad, a male for sure, and the other.. Gabe squinted, leaning forward just a bit. The other seemed to be angled behind the male, so he guessed it was a female or a very feminine male. He leaned back, nudging Briony's shoulder with his hand gently. "Stand up, they're almost here and you're going to look like a freak cooing at a dog." he grunted, this remark causing Briony to look up at Gabe and flash her fangs. "Shut up before I push you into the water and embarrass you in front of them." she warned, standing and brushing off the butt of her faded blue jean shorts that came to mid-thigh.
"You wouldn't have the guts," Gabriel joked, his blue eyes widening as a rough shove sent him stumbling to his left. However, he caught himself before her plummeted into the crystal clear, blue water. "Briony!" he yelped, glaring daggers down at her. She grinned, crossing her long, slim arms in front of her black Neon Trees tee shirt which, ironically enough, had a wolf head plastered to the front. She looked at the boat as it pulled up to the side of the dock, her interest sparking immediately. The driver of the boat nodded in her direction, "Ms. Briony," he said quietly. She flashed him a smile that died a little too quickly, "Mr. Potter's," she mused, watching the two new comers make their way onto the dock with all their luggage. A girl and a guy. The girl hid behind the broad male easily, and it was a little funny.. The way they looked when side by side. He was so much bigger!
Humor reflected in her green gaze, glancing at her brother, as if to say 'Well say something!' The tall male spoke first, causing Brion to cut her gaze at him.
Gabriel watched as the two wolves moved from the boat. He noticed the small blonde having trouble with her luggage and moved forward just barely to offer his help. Conveniently enough as he opened his mouth to speak she was successful with getting everything up herself. His mouth snapped shut. His eyes flickered to the male now, and he beat down a snarl that rumbled in his chest. Maybe it was a wolf thing, but Gabe was just a bit too territorial.
He looked at Brion, meeting her gaze. Gabe gave a slight nod and turned to speak, but the male wolf spoke before he could.

"Hey, welcome to the Island. My name's Gabriel, and this is my sister, Briony," he motioned towards her, and she gave a nod and a wave, as if to seem uninterested with what was going on. "Cedric is back at the house waiting to show you both around and answer any questions you may have," he explained, it sounding like he had practiced hours in front of the mirror, going over the same lines.
Briony couldn't help but laugh, looking down as something soft ran along her right hand. It was Mouse. The Great Dane had his tongue lolled out to the side, his tail wagging rhythmically. She smiled, then her predatory gaze was brought back to the newcomers. "He sounds like a robot because in all honesty he practiced that speech for at least thirty minutes this morning." she teased, glancing over and laughing as Gabriel's face slowly turned a red color, the blush creeping up his neck.
"Shut up, Briony!" he growled, glancing at the small blonde girl, then the guy, then out at the water. He was going to kill Brion later, literally murder her. It's not like she would be missed!

Ethan & Dustin

Dustin's eyes lit up as she looked in the distance and saw the two figures, but what caused her excitement was the large Great Dane that one of the figures was petting, she guess it was probably a girl. She watched as the one petting the dog stood up and shoved the larger figure. To her surprise the larger figure stumbled toward the water, she literally thought the guy was going in the water but he saved himself. When they got closer she looked at the dog with a small smile, but it quickly vanished when she was trying her best to keep her luggage at hand, the biggest suitcase of her's was about to make her fall over as she got off the boat. With an irritated small growl she kicked the suitcase, causing Ethan to look back at her. "Not in front of them. Behave!" He whispered, teasing her. "Shut. Up." Dustin growled pointing a small finger up at her friend. Ethan had to hold back from laughing as he looked back at the two siblings and began the conversation with a simple, 'Hello.' Ethan nodded his head to Gabriel, "Well it's very nice to meet you Gabriel," Ethan began giving a small nod, then looking at Briony. "And you too, Briony." About that time Ethan glanced back at Dustin giving her this look. Dustin narrowed her eyes at him before looking back at the two siblings. She just gave a small nod with her head and waved her small hand, not saying a word. Ethan gave a small sigh, "I'm Ethan and this is Dustin." Ethan said as he looked at the two. Dustin on the other hand was looking out at the water. It was so clear! Her small hands had found one of the strings to her hoodie and she began to fiddle with it. She was getting a bit nervous, she wasn't good with meeting people or making a good impression. Her eyes found Briony as she watched her pet the dog, another small smile finding its way to her soft face.

Ethan and Dustin both laughed as Briony spoke, Ethan's eyes dancing with amusement as he watched the brunette. Dustin watched as Gabriel's face slowly began to turn red. She knew that feeling. Ethan chuckled when he saw Gabriel's face turning red, but he fell silent when he was slapped on the back of the head. Sure, Dustin had to get on her tippy-toes to slap Ethan on the back of the head, but she didn't care. "Behave." She hissed, teasing him now. Ethan glared down at her and nudged her. Sadly just the small nudge made Dustin stumble a little, now she was out from hiding behind Ethan. She had to swallow back a growl as she snapped her head up to glare at Ethan, baring her teeth slightly, her canines a bit longer now. Ethan shook his head, glancing back. "Dustin, they have more guests, lets go see Cedric." Ethan mused, smirking down at Dustin. Dustin glanced back and saw the other guy. It was her turn to blush, her soft cheeks were beginning to get a slight pink color. "Great first impression." She scolded herself in her head as she looked down quiet embarrassed, Ethan just chuckling.

Eva could feel her lips curling into a satisfied smile as her hair whipped around her in the wind. She loved the spray of cool salt water that rose from the surface of the ocean every time the boat went over a slight wave. Her sunglasses glinted softly in the bright sunshine, reflecting the harmful light away from her eyes. A movement at her side made her aware of the body laying on the bench next to her. A single elegant hand dropped onto the warm fur of Sanders, slowly running over the back of the dog.

Eva's eyes scanned the horizon, causing a slight feeling of awe to bloom within her mind. To be so isolated from the rest of the world felt odd, but wonderful at the same time. Slowly, her eyes closed and her body fell along the length of the bench. She allowed her mind to wander, making time fly by her. The last thought in her mind before she felt the boat slowing down was, I wonder what will be awaiting me at this island.

Just as her thought finished, the boat stopped. Her eyes snapped open and she sat up slowly. Her dark hair fell around her in waves as she stood and stretched her body. She lifted her single, large suitcase out of the storage chest and stepped carefully off the boat. Sanders jumped across the small gap between the boat and the dock with a resounding bark. Eva whispered a command and the dog walked to her side and sat. Eva smiled at the man who brought her here and waved him off. As she turned, she took her sunglasses off and took a silent moment to study the people in front of her. A single dark brow rose as she replaced her sunglasses on her face. She allowed a slow smile to creep across her stunning features as she set her suitcase down next to her.

"My name is Evana Pasternak. It's a pleasure to meet you all," she said, the words a bit hard to understand because of her accent.

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.
T.E. Lawrence

Zacharia Michaelson has never known true sleep, save for the thoughts of Death's sleep in Her loving embrace. He had seen the serenity as he ripped and tore and drank the life from his victims' bodies. He had heard that there is a spark behind their eyes that vanishes when they are embraced by Her. Unfortunately, he had never seen such peace, only absolute terror when he fed on the ecstasy that was. Dreams within the day made him wonder about such ideas as Death. Why it was needed, and such, kept him from true sleep many times. "'The fear of death follows from the fear of life. A man who lives fully is prepared to die at any time.' Such a wonderful quote," his whispered pierced the silent night, "It speaks volumes, do you not agree?" His head turned towards a pair of golden eyes that stared at nothing. Slapping his forehead, he exclaimed, "Oh that's right, I killed you about ten minutes ago. Silly me." Reaching over, he lifted a severed wolf's head, and tossed it into a nearby fire pit. "Those tree huggers are going to love me," he muttered to himself. Striking a match, he tossed it in the pit. There was a loud FWOOSH! and flames began reaching for the stars within the heavens above. A slight scream whispered from within the pit, but he shrugged it off. "You're dead anyways," he whispered. Reaching down, lifting a small canvas, black bag, he left the site, not caring for the deaths he had caused to lives that once were.

Later that day, he had purchased a six month round trip ticket to the Bahamas, for a little "R & R," as he told the woman behind the desk. A knowing smiled played on her lips, while a slight growl almost escaped his. Oh how I hate humanity. Too many breed like roaches, and spread their disease of stupidity across the lands. When it came to checking his bags, he held up a metal case that was handcuffed to his wrist. "Confidential," he said with an apology in his voice and eyes, "I'll be needing to see the air marshal." A slow grin was forming on his lips, as he produced a manilla envelope for the marshal to look over.

It didn't take long for a pair of 'suits' to appear from behind a door, and escort him inside. "What is in the case?" Demanded one of the suits, practically snatching the manilla envelope from his hands. "You will find the contents of my case on those papers, along with several signed affidavits stating that if the case is not opened in a controlled environment, I have the right to authorize the arrest of those who do so, and charge them with something akin to treason." Zacharia began to show his fangs. He had friends in high places, as do most vampires, and flaunted that fact daily. Since his coven was decimated many years ago, he had never grown attached to anyone since. Of course, there had always been a few that attached themselves to him. It was inevitable, due to his independence streak, but that never lasted long. His employers, mostly vampires themselves, had loved that quality. They knew that if he failed, no one would care, and if he was killed during a job, his own family would not try to seek revenge because he had none to speak of. Turning his thoughts back onto the physical world, he watched as one of the suits began to look a little green, as he read the affidavit to himself. "Everything alright?" Innocence oozed from his breath, as his eyes took on that same innocence, with a pinch of insanity.

"Y-yes," he whispered, already beginning to sweat a little, "You may go, and have a safe trip." With a grin, and a slight bow, he left the room, but not before he heard the suit exclaimed in a hoarse whisper, "He's got the bloody governor as a friend." Chuckling to himself, he left the area to join the two dozen people boarding a plane to the Bahamas. "Should be interesting," he whispered to himself, "Another war to fill my cache, and my pockets." Leaning back in his seat, he closed his eyes, and began to dream of day dreams, while the plane began its final sequences before taking off.

Iris 'Ash' Thaut

Iris sighed as she held onto Kiko, making her way onto the boat. The person who would be in charge of taking Iris to the Island threw her bags onto the boat as soon as Iris sat down in her white dress. Kikyo, the baby white fox, seemed to blend in almost completely, if not for Iris's natural red hair. Kiko laid her head onto Iris's lap, tired from all the walking and being in a pet carrier. Iris though, was more then certain she would not be able to take a moment to rest.

She had no idea where she was for that matter, and only wanted to make sure she would be safe. It bothered her when she felt no longer in her own little territory, more then ever. Iris quietly tried to ponder why she even decided to come to the Island in the first place. No matter, Iris simply pushed the thought to the side as she noticed the o λύκος up ahead. O λύκος seemed like a strange name, and she couldn't even say it correctly.

Her grandparents laughed at her pretty badly when she kept stuttering and getting flustered while trying to say it. Looking back now, it actually made her laugh unlike at the moment. Iris felt partly sad due to how short the boat ride truely was, and she noticed poor Kikyo becoming uptight with the sense of werewolfs and vampires. "Shh... It's alright Kikyo... I'll keep you safe." Iris whispered to the fox as if it was her child. She had only recently found it and taken care of it, yet she felt a strong connection to the animal, like it was Iris herself as a child.

With it's parents dead or simply abandoning it, Kikyo was all alone. Just like Iris was for quite some time until she stayed with her grandparents. Then, and only then, did she change for the better. Of course, she was still considered their little Devil when she was up to no good, which was most of the time if they could sense it. Kikyo was almost exactly like that in her own way, she caused as much trouble as she could as a fox, yet was still loving and loyal to Iris when the time was needed.

"Okay Kikyo, let's get out now..." Iris mumbled as the boat was soon to dock. Putting Kikyo down on the dock, it began to spike up it's fur in fear and distrust. It quickly retreated back to Iris as she got her bag and got out of the boat. Kikyo quickly made her way up onto Iris, puting it's claws in her dress as she tried to climb up. "Hey! Kikyo, stop being a wuss... Ouch!" Iris mumbled as she yanked Kikyo off and back on the dock.

Iris simply rubbed where Kikyo had managed to scratch her through the dress, annoyance clear. "They won't eat you Kikyo, so knock it off." Iris said with a growl as she gently tapped Kikyo on the nose. Kikyo though, didn't find it to be quite as funny as it's fur puffed out and it jumped into Iris's arms to keep away from the dogs as well as the others. "Ah... I'm sorry about Kikyo... She's a bit... distrusting around people she doesn't know..." Iris apoligized to everyone around the docks. "I'm Iris, and as I mentioned before hand, the white fur ball is Kikyo." Iris said with a smile, a hint of Irish in her voice getting a tad bit strong.

Cedric-

Cedric watched as more boats began to pull up, letting a triumphant grin slip along his lips. His siblings had their hands full now. With a slight sigh he turned and began walking down the large steps off to his right; they led down into the sand. His pace was leisurely, he made hurry to make it to the dock. He knew Gabriel would freak being the center attention in front of all the new wolves, and Briony.. Cedric shook his head. Who knew what she would do, most likely turn to violence for some unknown answer. He could see the figures of people moving from their boats, but could not make out any features. However, having the hearing that he did, he could hear them all as clear as a bell. So it seemed that Ethan and Dustin had arrived. So had Liam, Eva, and Iris. Good. He ran over what he would tell them in his mind, gnawing on the thoughts furiously. Cedric hoped by the end of the night he would have a proper pack together. He hoped they would not run and cower in fear when they found out about the vampires, or the one that was secretly among them. Ced knew it was not their fight, really, and he hated himself for doing this, asking them to lay their life on the line. But he had no choice. This was his island and he was not going to let a bunch of leeches take it over. The thought made a growl vibrate within his chest, shaking his frame forcefully.
Arriving at the dock he slowly and silently walked onto it, a smile dancing on his lips as he nodded at Ethan. Cedric picked up on all their scents. Most he smelt was fear, they were dripping with nervous energy.

Gabriel & Briony-

Gabriel's eyes widened as he noticed the small blonde kick her suitcase and growl, he blinked once, glancing at Briony who had muffled her laughter. Hearing the guy's words to the girl made him grin, crossing his arms over his chest casually. He nodded once, "Nice too meet you both as well," he said smoothly, glancing at the blonde briefly, grinning. Brion arched a brow when the the tall male looked at her and spoke, lifting her chin in defiance, "Likewise," she murmured, after their names had been spoken. Dustin and Ethan. The names seemed familiar. Had Cedric mentioned them before, perhaps? Maybe she overheard their names at some point.. Briony was one to be nosy..
Gabriel had shook his head when Briony spoke, feeling the heat from his face as he burned crimson. How embarrassing.. Blushing in front of their guests. His hands trembled out of anger, but he quickly cooled down, smirking at Ethan when he was slapped in the back of the head. Brion laughed, glancing at Dustin and grinning. The girl was small, but had that spark. Really, she just reached up and slapped a giant. Of course, Brion was more prone to punching or biting, but still. She had noticed the way Dustin had been looking at Mouse, she looked down at her large companion. The dog leaned its head back, panting lightly as he starred up at her. Her gaze flickered to Dustin and she gave a nonchalant nod in her direction. With that the Great Dane slowly got up and lumbered to the small blonde's side, sitting back on his hind quarters, tail wagging furiously. Brion smiled just barely, glancing up at her brother.

Gabe's gazed was focused out on the water as a few more boats pulled up. He took a deep breath, holding it in. However, he tensed as a large had was slapped down on his left shoulder. His eyes bounced to the hand, then the person's face, snarling loudly. That is.. Until he recognized who it was. Cedric. He exhaled, shrugging his brother's hand off. "Sorry, Cedric," he said quickly, lowering his head as if ashamed.
Cedric chuckled, glancing out at everyone who moved onto the dock. "Hello everyone," his deep voice boomed, causing Mouse, the Great Dane who had spotted another dog, and was moving towards it to pause and sit down. "My name is Cedric Kaelin, and these are my siblings, Briony," He placed a hand on her shoulder, causing her to roll her emerald eyes and give what seemed to be a wave at the newcomers. He grinned, "And Gabriel," He motioned towards his brother slowly.
Gabe gave a nod and a forced a smile at the other guests who had just arrived. "As you may know, I am the one who sent you the letter that brought you all here today. I hope your flight and boat ride over was enjoyable." Cedric went on, looking at each person, studying them. They needed much training, he supposed. "If you would, please follow me to the house. There, I will take you to the quarters upstairs, where you may pick your room. On the way I am open to answering questions, and after you are settled in I am opt to doing the same." He did not falter as he spoke, his expression cool, calm and collected.
"My siblings are here to answer your questions as well, if I am busy. Tonight there will be a bonfire down on the beach. That is for you all to socialize and get to know each other. There, I will give you more.. Insight on what else will be going on during your stay." Cedric picked his words carefully, flashing an award-winning smile to swipe away any "nervous" expression that may have crossed his features.
Briony narrowed her eyes, gazing up and over at Cedric skeptically. More insight? What more could he say?? They were there for a get-away so they could be who they were freely.. What else was there? If she was in her wolf form her fur would have bristled. Gabriel glanced at Brion, giving her this look as if to tell her to calm down.

"Gabriel will help any of you who may need help carrying your luggage." Cedric did not miss a beat, making eye contact with each person on the dock briefly. He was a good public speaker, a good persuader at that. If he wasn't what he was.. He might have done great things in his lifetime, or so he hoped. Yet, what was better than helping a few werewolves grow to their full potential? Gabe let out a exasperated sigh in under his breath. What he wanted to do.. Help weak people carry their luggage. He glanced at the blonde who was having trouble with her suitcase when she first started off the boat. "Do you need help?" he mouthed to her when he was able to catch her attention.
"Briony, you will be staying here, waiting to see if anyone else will show up." Cedric murmured, eyeing his sister who, if she could, would be shooting laser beams from her eyes to burn a whole through his head. She nodded a bit stiffly, giving a gentle snap of her fingers. In that moment Mouse stood up and, slowly, walked over to sit at her feet.
"Now, if you all would please follow me," Cedric mused, glancing at Ethan, and grinning. "Glad you could make it, friend," he chuckled, turning as he began making his way off the dock. He figured a person or two would start asking him questions immediately, and braced himself for it. He would be surprised if none of them were curious..

Kathrine

Dear Cedric...
The ink quill traced perfect letters in calligraphy. The art of perfecting one's handwriting had become a hobby of Kathrine's over the years. She so loved writing letters! They were so personal, handing out one's own feelings on paper to another being. The parchment was clipped to a clipboard, so that it wouldn't blow away in the gentle breeze that brought on the smells of sea salt and the gentle spray from the ocean waves below that happened to reach her. She sat surrounded by the night within the branches of a tall tree, hiding behind the thick leaves. Despite the moon being out of her view, she saw clearly through the dark. Below her and to her left was the ocean. Beyond the leaves that concealed her so well was the house of the Kaelin's. In the same location Kathrine had been planning to build her own house on the island, as a matter of fact.

I was sure that my coven and I had made our presence well known to all of the neighbors of our island, one only a mere fifty miles from the one you reside on now. Why anyone would invest in an island that had caught the eye of vampires is beyond my reasoning, but please do consider this your one and only warning. I have great plans for this island. I would like to continue building on those dreams. I request that you leave immediately. It would ever be so terrible if blood had to be shed over this...
Although, I hear the blood of your kind tastes rather like candy.

Kathrine giggled quietly to herself, her green eye, the one uncovered, sharply glancing over the island to reassure herself that no one was within earshot. There was no one. Her thoughts pondered on that for a moment, and she promised herself then and there that if the blood of the wolves were to be spilled, she would get a taste of it. She sat in silence, listening to the crash of the ocean waves before finishing off the letter with her a beautifully smooth and loopy signature. Coven Master, Kathrine J. Turner.

Gracefully, she leaped down from the tree branch and landed gently on the sand. She loved the feeling of the smooth sand on her bare feet, but she watched her step so that she would stay silent while she made her way down the beach. Kathrine had been watching the Kaelin's closely and had learned their sleeping habits, and knew that all three of them would be in bed asleep by now. The dog, named Mouse as she had overheard, always slept upstairs with the girl. The sand underneath her feet disappeared as a concrete sidewalk took its place, leading up to the front door of the estate. Kathrine folded the parchment with her letter written on it in half, and wrote a large, swooping "K" on one side of the half. She placed it neatly on the doorstep, then returned to the boat she'd arrived in and left for home.

***

Kathrine sat on the sandy beach of her island, sipping out of a wine glass filled halfway with AB negative. Blood bags were never as good as the real thing, but she'd been too busy to visit the mainland to feed lately. She had no time to even smile at the memory of writing the warning letter she'd written Cedric, Gabriel, and Briony. She'd been informed that their numbers were growing. This wasn't good, she knew. Her coven could have easily taken out the siblings... but how many more would they be able to take on?
"I need to learn the new number," she muttered to no one in particular, bringing the wine glass to her lips.

Shane

The boat which Shane sat in rocked gently with the waves as the driver began to approach the island. The island was beautiful, but it did nothing to calm Shane's nerves. He couldn't help but think, This was a terrible idea. Why did I agree to this? Why did Dad even let me come? This isn't good... But there was nothing he could do about it now. Because there it was. The island, the house, the people, in all its glory. He couldn't help but believe that he wasn't ready for this.

However, no good ever came out of worrying. He did his best to keep quiet and keep his worrying thoughts inside his head. It wasn't as if the boat driver wanted to hear it. Before he knew it, the driver was attaching the boat to the dock with a rope. When he arrived, there was only a young woman standing at the docks. He nervously stepped out, with his one backpack on his back and nothing else. He heard the engine of the boat rev up again and heard the waves pick up speed against the dock as the driver left him stranded on a foreign island with people he'd never met in his life. All he could manage to squeek out to the one woman standing at the dock before him was, "Hi... I'm Shane. Are you the only one here?"

Eva silently examined all of the people on the dock around her. She watched as the large great dane began to walk over to Sanders. She whispered a command for him to behave himself and he looked up at her before looking to the larger dog. She noticed how immediately the large dog stopped when she heard a deep voice. Eva shook her head slightly, her dark hair shifting with the movement. Both of her brows shot up at the appearance of the man named Cedric. She listened to his spiel about what would happen now that he had arrived with only half an ear. When he hesitated slightly before choosing the word insight, her eyes narrowed and her brows furrowed.

How curious, he had to choose his wording...

Nonetheless, she followed him when he turned to leave, lifting her suitcase with ease and commanding Sanders to walk by her side with a high-pitched whistle. She easily caught up to Cedric with her long strides and had to make herself slow down so she would over take him. Her eyes, blocked from view by her sunglasses, cut over to the man she walked next to, narrowing slightly as she studied him. After a moment, she deemed him trustworthy, for the moment, and looked down to Sanders, who was walking happily by her side, seemingly unaffected by the large man. She had to wonder why the great dane seemed to respect the man so much as to stop while he was talking.

A man can live and be healthy without killing animals for food; therefore, if he eats meat, he participates in taking animal life merely for the sake of his appetite.
Leo Tolstoy

The first thing Zacharia noticed about the Bahamas, after exiting the plane, was the heat. It was too intense for him, which made him purchase, and fill, a camel pack filled with water. He began to suck on the tube, and was almost immediately approached by a man wearing a Hawaiian shirt, khaki shorts, and flip-flops. "Welcome to the Bahamas," he spoke with such enthusiasm, making him feel sick just by being near the guy, "Would you like a brochure about what you may expect and participate here?" The smile from the guy made his blood simmer. Putting on his stone-faced visage, he said, "I am here on business. Approach me again, and you'll be floating dead in the bay."

He shoved the guy off to the side, and exited the airport as soon as he retrieved his knapsack via taxi. "The nearest docks, good sir, and can you crank up the A/C? Its a sauna out there." His steel briefcase had been removed from his wrist, and stuffed into the sack during the ride, so as to not attract too much attention. The drive itself didn't take very long, but the bill for the ride was horrendous. 54.65 USD for a 4km drive, making him very angry at this point. The low growl, combined with the flashing eyes within his skull made the driver nervous enough to peel out of there without receiving payment. "Bastard," he whispered. Turning slightly, inhaling slowly, he began to walk slowly down the docks. "Now where..." His eyes scanned each boat name, until it rested on a small craft called The Shiver. Why the name of "The Shiver"? Because it is owned by one of his contacts, who just happens to be a weapon/drug dealer and owed him his life.

"Carlos," he shouted at the boat, "Carlos, get your ass out here right now. Or so help me, I'll torch you and this craft." A one eyed Mexican kid's head popped up, and, after glancing at Zacharia, paled. The head was soon followed by a lithe form with a mechanical left foot. "You've been busy," he said, an eyebrow raised. At the kid's slow nod, and feet starting to shuffle slightly- more like scraped- he said, "Prepare the boat. I have little time to waste, and need to be at a specific island about four hour's ride south by southwest. Now get," he pointed at the dock pump, "Start filling up the boat." When the child didn't move fast enough, he shoved him onto the dock, where the child flipped several times, glared up at him, and scurried down to the pump for fuel. Standing atop the boat, staring into the large opening, he shouted, "Carlos. I swear, if I need to drag your sorry hide out, I'll take it out in pieces."

"Alright, alright," came a voice from below, "I'm coming already. Sheesh." The voice came from a portly old man who had rolls of fat on his body, and more chins than he had thought possible. The old man belched in his direction, making him glare menacingly. When the blob of a man looked up, he too paled, but unlike the child, he began to shiver and sweat. "Z-Zacharia," his beady little eyes grew wide, "Y-Y-Y-You are alive!" The fat on the man jiggled and shook, and he seemed to be growing even paler.

"Yes," Zacharia hissed, "Unfortunately for you, by the look of things, but fortunately, you get to live just long enough to help me. I need weapons and a ride to an island south-southwest of here. Its about a four hour ride, and I needed to be there yesterday." His glare intensified, and a low growl rumbled in his chest, "You help me, and I wont kill you. Don't, and you float in the bay, just like Izekial. You remember him, yes?" At the slow nod he continued, "He became shark bait after I told him to follow my orders, or else that will happen to him."

"Excuse me," a voice came from the dock, and when he looked over, he saw that the boy had gotten the police involved. His eyes glowed faintly, barely containing the killing rage that threatened to explode. "We need you to come with us, sir." The child's sheepish grin is what set him off, making him leap from the both, and onto the police officer who did not have time to respond. There was a loud cracking noise, and the officer's head was twisted at an odd angle. The child's eyes grew wide, and his mouth opened to scream, when his hand snaked in, shoving into his throat, causing the boy to suffocate. A finger pointed at the blob of a man, and crooked it towards himself. "Fill the boat with fuel, and we'll be on our way." He shoved the officer's body into an unoccupied boat, and the now lifeless corpse of the boy into another, as the blob filled up his own boat with fuel, crying the whole time.

When they were finally ready to go, Zacharia pulled out a map, and pointed in the direction he needed to go. The boat began to rumble, and water shot up, pushing them slowly away. "Where are the weapons," he asked with a grumble. When Carlos pointed at a hatch towards the front of the boat, he glared up at the blob of a man, and told him to stop the boat, and hand him the keys. When this had been done, he walked over to the hatch, and opened it slowly. A low whistle escaped his lips, as the cache made him smile. "A good sword, along with a few 9mm pistols, will go along way, me thinks." Looking up at the man, he tossed the keys at him, and told him to keep driving. Several hours past, and the island was slowly coming into focus. "Good," he whispered, and turned towards Carlos. "You have done well, but I cannot let you live after what you had witnessed me do." A 9mm pistol was pulled out of his jacket, having secreted it hours earlier, and pulled the trigger. A loud popping noise erupted from the gun, followed by an even louder splash, as the blob of a man fell into the water, sinking slowly.

The moment he reached the island, a sense of elation filled him. "Time to get to work, it seems." Taking a deep breath, he let out a roar from within his chest, letting the inhabitant, or inhabitants, know that he had arrived. "Lets get to work," he whispered with a voracious grin.

The boat rocked gently as it drifted over clear blue water. Behind the boat, lay one island, ahead another, and in the boat itself sat Christina Lightwood. Her dainty wrists were tied so tightly together with a rope that blood dripped down slowly onto the white sea-washed boards of the little row-boat. Part of the illusion. She told herself through the pain, but still- Did Portia have to tie it that tight? In front of her, sat Clinton, her brother, rowing the boat for her. His eyes never left her as he rowed her to what could possibly be her death, and Christina found that if she looked up and met his emerald gaze, there was a startling amount of distaste there. So she kept her aqua gaze on the bottom of the boat and her blood.

As she always did when thinking deeply, Christina ran her tongue along her top row of teeth, feeling the two unusually sharp fangs there. Those two fangs were probably going to get her killed. But she had to do it. Portia, Clinton, and the other vampires would be counting on her. She'd be able to prove herself to her siblings and possibly win acceptance into their tight partnership. She glanced at Clinton again quickly before looking back down. Still the hateful green eyes. Why? What had she ever done? She had to be brave and do it. No other vampire could spin a lie quite like her. At this, a sly smile came to her lips for she knew Portia had always been jealous of her ability to change personalities in an instant in order to pull of a scam. It made her untrustworthy, but surely she wasn't anywhere near as bad as Portia? The thought of her sister made her wince slightly. Wicked, horrible, but beautiful Portia. Even if you were her friend, you never knew if she'd stab you in the back. This was all her idea.

"This is as far as I can take you Chris." Clinton's voice brought her back to the surface of her own mind and Christina looked up at him. No goodbye. He'd just rowed his baby sister to the shore of her death and no goodbye. That was why her task was so important. She had to gain their trust. Christina looked past him at the shore of the werewolf island and fear caught her momentarily. She was to be a spy. Clinton was supposed to row her near the shore and then throw her off the boat as if he were banishing her. Then she was supposed to work her way into the wolves lives and feed the vampires secrets. An extremely deadly task. But Christina was ready. "Pleeeeeease do it sis?" She remembered Portia's pleading voice. "No one else can lie like you. Hell, you could make someone think their own blood was wine." And feeling wanted by her sister felt so good, Cristy had had no choice but to accept. And now here she was.

As Clinton rose, ready to put on their little charade in case anyone was watching (though the beach looked empty) Christina knew this was it. She had to pull off her con perfectly or the werewolves would kill her instantly. There was no doubt about it. In the next second, conjured up tears rolled down her cheeks and she worked herself up into fake hysterics. "No! Clinton no! Please, please please!" She heaved in a dry sob and shook her head wildly as if afraid of the island. "Shut up!" Her brother ordered, slapping her hard across the face and yanking her to her feet. The boat rocked dangerously and Christina's sobs rose an octave. "I'm sorry!" She shrieked, and was rewarded by a sharp shove, throwing her face first into the cold water.

Her mouth filled with salty water from her sobbing and she choked, struggling to stand with her hands still bound behind her back. Wouldn't it be ironic if they'd planned all this out, and she drowned before she even reached the island? But she was able to get on her feet weakly again as her knees shook, the waves coming in and out pulled and pushed her about, threatening to send her back into the water. Clinton was already halfway back to the island of vampires where her sister waited on the shore. Sobbing still, Christina began to make her way towards the beach. It was hard work, staying upright, her body was continually pushed and pulled by the waves, and sometimes a big one would come and she'd fall back into the water. Why the fuck are the ropes necessary? Do they have any idea how hard it is to swim to shore with no arms?! She cursed her siblings in her head. Though it added to her pitiful, victim-type look.

When she finally reached the soft sand, Christina let herself drop to her knees and sit there for a second, sobbing and looking around the island in fright, as if every little sound made her jump. It was an excellent display she was putting on. "Don't talk to anyone but the leader Chrissy. Don't accept any of them unless they threaten to kill you. We need you out there." Portia's departing words bounced around in her mind. Sad that her sister's last words to her weren't words of worry or encouragement. No. They were meant to keep her alive only because they "needed her."

Finally standing, Christina continued her crying as she stumbled down the beach towards where she knew the mansion was, as well as, the arriving group of werewolves and their leader Cedric. Cedric please be merciful. She willed in her head as she cried. Her crying was spot on and so was her look. Now all she needed was Cedric's approval. As she walked towards figures she could now make out, Christina's caramel-colored hair dripped water down her back and she tripped over a rock, accidentally coating her wet body with sand. At least she looked pitiful. Even if it was annoying to trip every ten seconds. Stading she started again, her crying becoming a little softer. The figures were now individual shapes. Inside her chest, Christina's heart pounded so loud she was sure the whole world could hear it.

OOC: First post for Christina, I'll put an individual post from, both, Portia & Clinton on my next one. Not much time right now. I didn't really have time to read over everything specifically though so if there's something off about it like locations or time, please just work around it. Hope it's good (:

Ethan & Dustin

Dustin was not a happy camper at the moment, there was a point in which she hated being so small. You always heard lame jokes making fun of how you couldn’t reach something, you had to get on your tippy toes, or they would pat your head. People would see you as someone weak, someone who couldn’t do anything for themselves. Then her shy nature didn’t help at all. Her gaze turned to look at Briony and Gabriel when they spoke to Ethan’s β€˜Nice to meet you’. She just gave a curt nod and turned her attention back up to Ethan. Ethan glanced down at the small blonde, smirking as he caught her cold glare knowing he was about to be hit or something. He was right, about that time was when Dustin popped him on the back of the head. ”Should have had a V-8..” She grumbled in a rather smug voice as she crossed her small arms and smirked when she saw Briony and Gabriel both got a kick out of her popping Ethan on the back of the head. Ethan couldn’t help but laugh at the small girl’s words, he had to admit Dustin had a few good comebacks..but he would never admit that out-loud. His eyes found Briony as he watched her look down at her Great Dane, he couldn’t help but let a little surprise sweep across his face as he watched her give the dog a command with just a nod, but Ethan quickly wiped all emotions off his face. Dustin on the other hand..her face lit up when she saw the dog get up and come toward her. She bent down into a crouching position as she let the dog smell her first before she went to pet him. She grinned as she began to scratch him behind the ear. ”Well ain’t you just a handsome thing..” she mumbled softly.

Ethan grinned as he could smell that honey sweet blood from a mile away. Cedric. It had been awhile since he had seen his friend in person. He could still clearly remember the day he met the werewolf. He had heard a lot about Cedric’s family, his siblings, and now the his neighboring islands inhabitants from Cedric himself. Cedric had yet to meet Dustin, but he had heard about her and Ethan knew his friend was a bit skeptical on the whole issue of her being a half-breed. He smirked as he watched Cedric place a hand on Gabe’s shoulder. He nudged Dustin, knowing Cedric was about to speak. Dustin just cut her eyes at him and went back to loving on the huge dog. Ethan sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. He knew Dustin would make a great impression..sarcasm. Dustin knew what Ethan was thinking so she stood, but her hand could easily reach the dog so she continued petting him. The dog was helping with her nervousness, it had almost vanished. She watched as Cedric introduced himself, she narrowed her eyes as she looked at the three siblings. They were a strong bunch, she bet they were a force to be reckoned with. Ethan had crossed his arms as he smirked, listening to his friend speak. Dustin on the other hand had cleared her face of any expressions, keeping it at an almost bored emotion..borderline of a blank expression. But she couldn’t help as she rolled her eyes when Cedric spoke of the flight and boat ride being enjoyable. Great. They had the next President here. Or at least he was giving a speech like one, guess that’s why he was the Alpha.

Ethan chuckled as he listened to his friend speak, he wasn’t gonna miss a beat and he seemed to be wording it just right. Dustin’s face had a curious glint to it, she was thinking of the bonfire. The curious glint faded as she tilted her head at Gabe when he sighed. Then when he mouthed, ”Do you need help?” she clenched her teeth as she just shook her head. Then she glanced down at the huge bag and back up at Gabe, maybe it was a good idea to let him help her. Nah, she’d get Ethan to do it. She glanced over to ask him, but he wasn’t there.

Catching up with his long lost friend, Ethan smiled. β€œIt’s good to see you, friend.” he chuckled, teasing Cedric by saying friend in the same voice. β€œYou know, if this whole werewolf thing doesn’t work out you could go into motivational speaking speaking.” he teased huskily as he glanced around at the other werewolves. It was true, they were gonna need some work but with a little training he was sure Cedric was going to have a strong pack. He was glad he decided to train Dustin ahead of time.

Dustin watched as Ethan had took off with Cedric. He had been texting Cedric, calling Cedric..it was Cedric this Cedric that. ”Don’t act a fool in front of Cedric” β€œDon’t be rude to Cedric.” β€œAlways listen to Cedric” That was all Dustin had been hearing for the last week for all she knew Ethan and Cedric had a bromance. Which she took the opportunity to tease Ethan about it heavily, which did not settle well with the guy. She shrugged if off as she gave a final pat to the large dog and then grabbed her suitcase. She gave a tug as she slowly started after the group. Still having that stomach churning feeling. What if the other purebred werewolves didn’t approve of half-breeds?

Ethan was enjoying catching up with his friend, but he narrowed his eyes as he saw a figure in the distance. It looked feminine. His face went from content to a rather stoney look. Who was this? What made him even more hesitant of the stranger..most of the wolves here smelled like Cedric. That honey sweet scent that made his eyes have a bit of a silver hint to them with the blood lust. Some of them smelled like Dustin, a normal human scent with the honey scent mixed in, the half-breeds. Then there was this stranger. She didn’t smell like either of the two, which was already beginning to worry Ethan. He looked at Cedric, not hiding his concern.

ALL-

Cedric had cast a weary glance across the group as he spoke, telling them what they needed to know at the time. He noticed most of the guests were starring at him as if he had sprouted a second head. He had to forcefully keep himself from sighing and or growling out of frustration. Cedric expected this, however, he just hoped they would exceed his low expectations. He still had very faint hope. His gaze fell on one male in particular, a half breed. Liam, that's who it was. He noticed the way he was standing, slightly defensive, untrusting. Cedric grinned when the guy flexed his jaw then proceeded to grit his teeth. He was surprised at how hard it was for himself not to flash his fangs at this half breed, remind him of his place..
And then he was walking from the dock, glancing down at the small female to his left who, from the pictures he had received from a "certain source," was Evana Pasternak. He could not see her eyes, due to the dark shades that cleverly covered them, but if he knew anything about his own kind, he knew she was studying him. Scanning him, deciding whether or not he was to be trusted, most likely. He was going to say something to the girl when Ethan appeared to his right. A sly grin crossed his lips, glancing at the secret vampire. "Motivational speaker," he echoed sarcastically, shaking his head with a grunt. "Never thought of it! But hey, if this thing doesn't work out you could always run for smart ass of the year." he retorted jokingly, turning his head to look over his shoulder. Cedric was relieved to see the others were following; at least they hadn't jumped from the dock and started swimming back just yet..

Gabriel had watched the blonde, Dustin, love up on Mouse with deep set amusement dancing in his gaze, yet it had vanished when Briony peeked up at him. "Mouse actually likes her, I'm surprised." she murmured as Cedric's drone had finally closed to an end. Gabe had just shrugged nonchalantly, but his sister noticed the amazement in his blue eyes. When they were younger she could always tell when he was lying. It was a rare thing, since she was younger and he never had to answer to her exactly, but came in handy. Like one time when Gabriel was out late and Briony was being her nosy self. She asked him where he was and he said he was out with his friend Todd. Lies. He was out with a girl, and Brion knew it immediately. Gabe's eyes, were like immediate doors to his soul, and that wasn't a lie.

Her emerald eyes flickered to different people who walked past her to follow after Cedric, giving a sound of annoyance which sounded more like a growl. She would most definitely have to control herself around these new wolves, even though her own wolfy instinct was screaming for her to attack, and rip them apart.

Gabriel masked his shock when the blonde he had asked to help gritted her teeth and shook her head. Well then.. he thought, shaking his head slowly. He would like to see her carry that huge thing all the way back to the house. It was unlikely that she could. Of course, he did not add in the fact that the girl was a werewolf. He scanned the others, crossing his strong arms over a broad expansion of chest. No one else seemed like they really needed help. Gabe bit back a growl, turning stiffly and stalking after his older brother, not saying another word to Briony who stood there unfazed.

Brion watched him walk off and gave a light laugh, walking across the now empty dock. She stopped right where the boats usually pulled up to, running a hand across Mouse's soft pelt when he came to her side. Watching the boat her brothers' and herself used to go to the main land rock back and forth, she sighed. What were they thinking? What was Cedric thinking? Bringing in a bunch of wolves unknown to them. Wouldn't it make more sense to bring in their old pack? At least they knew them and could really hang out, have some fun. But oh no. "You need to meet new people, Briony," Cedric's voice rung in her head, words he had spoken the night before during ice cream sundaes and "Zombieland."
Briony's green orbs flickered upward towards the sound of a fast running motor at least half a mile away. She squinted, in the distance seeing what appeared to be a straggler, causing her lips to pull back in slight distaste.
She stepped back when the boat pulled into the dock, paying no mind to the driver as she eyed the boy inside right away. He was a bit.. Small. Of course, he seemed to be taller than her by a hair's breath, that ment nothing. Compared to her brothers', he was a snack. A morsal. Her eyes narrowed the slightest, watching him step from the boat with a tiny stitch of luggage.

She swallowed the growl that threatened to pass her lips when the guy spoke, arching a careful brow. "I'm Briony," she bit out, casting a glance over her shoulder, eyeing the others you were slowly walking down the beach. She done this, perhaps, to make the guy feel stupid that he even asked if she was the only one there. "And no, the others are moving towards the house, we should-.."

Briony trailed off abruptly as an extremely unfamiliar smell passed her nostrils. She scented the air once, twice, a growl erupting from her throat as she turned. Down the beach, stumbling and fumbling in the sand towards the new wolves and her brothers was a figure. If Brion looked close enough she could tell it was a female figure. And it was not another wolf nor a human. She jerked her head back, gazing at the boy before her. "Follow me, now," she stated simply, voice hollow, yet anger trickled around the words.

With that she turned and dashed down the dock, towards Cedric and the others. Surely he smelt it by now, saw it, surely..

Gabriel was trailing back behind the woman who was to Cedric's left. He was watching the new wolves with interest, eyes straying to the blonde girl here and there. He was waiting for her to trip and fall with her luggage. He would laugh, most likely, and tease her, because you see.. Gabe was just Gabe. There was no way around it. However..
He tensed quickly as Cedric, who was in front of him taking leisurely strides, all of a sudden froze up. Like a stiff board, Gabe watched his older brother tilt his head back and take a deep breath. A growl rumbled in his chest and Gabriel mimmicked him, pupils expanding as he smelt it too. Not another werewolf, not a mere human..
"Vampire," Cedric snarled, taking a step forward as he eyed the feminine figure clumsily made her way towards them. Towards what might be her death. He now heard the girl, her sobs, her heart racing in her chest. She was much closer. Cedric cast a glance at Ethan, jaw clenching and unclenching, the vein in his neck throbbing. This must be a vampire from the other island.. It had to be.
"Stop where you are!" he snapped, the words barely made out from the growl that followed it. His voice sounded of razor blades and steel. He narrowed his eyes at the female, taking her in. She looked, with her wet, sloppy appearance, to be no threat. But with vampires, you could never be too cautious. Ced glanced over when Briony stumbled to his right side, pushing past Ethan. "Vampire?" she asked, arms and legs shaking. Her muscles trembled with anticipation, taut at the thought of a fight.

Cedric simply nodded as Gabe slipped to his left. They done this to block the vampire's view of the pa- the new wolves. The Alpha did not want to risk their lives just yet. He turned his attention back to the intruder. "State who you are and your purpose here now or you will slaughtered where you stand." he stated coldly, hard, blue gaze holding little to no mercy. Why would this leech be stupid enough to come on his island? Unless she didn't know.. Cedric brushed away the thought as he straightened his shoulders, forcefully keeping his canines from sharpening.

Briony, on the other hand, was shaking just barely, running her tongue across her sharpened canines as she watched the vampire girl's every movement. Small, audible snarls slipping past her lips. It took everything in her not to shift. "Let's just kill her now, Cedric," she hissed, hands curling into fists at her sides.
Cedric shook his head, "Not until we hear what she has to say." he said firmly, silencing her. "And you need to calm yourself before you shift." he added in a hushed tone. This caused Gabriel to rake his gaze from the leech, glancing at Briony. When she got angry, it took a lot to hold her back. He knew from much experience. Flashing his fangs at the intruder, he slowly walked over to Brion, eyes not moving from the vampire. There, he placed a hand on her shoulder to calm her for the moment.

Cedric stole a glance at Ethan, "If she goes to attack you know what to do." he grumbled through barely parted lips, eyes sweeping across the rest of the wolves. He would have to apologize for this disturbance later. That's all most vampires were.. A disturbance.

(I'm sure this post is confusing as heck guys! I'm sorry, the next time I will separate all three of my characters out. (: Sorry!)

Christina could tell that the werewolves had noticed her. At least three of them had. The honey smell of their blood grew stronger and stronger as she got closer and she had to squeeze her hands together hard to keep from going crazy. This whole stupid idea is a set up. They want me dead. I know it. She thought as she neared. Her fear escalated, sending her heart-rate racing. Well at least she didn't have to fake the fear. That much was real. When finally, she was close enough, the tallest of the four who had noticed her stood and faced her fully.

"Stop where you are!" Christina knew this one was the alpha. Cedric. He had to be. Only the alpha could have said that small sentence so forcefully, that she actually winced. Her eyes shut tightly and she stopped, tears rolling down her cheeks. She didn't want to open her eyes. Didn't want to look around and see all the hatred on their faces. But slowly, Christina pried her aqua eyes open. The alpha, Cedric, now had a girl and another boy beside him. "Vampire?" She heard the girl ask and Chrissy began to shake, her knees threatening to give out.

"State who you are and your purpose here now or you will slaughtered where you stand." The cold voice of the alpha ordered and Christina looked up to meet his eyes, pouring all her fear into her blue gaze before dropping to the sand on her knees, sobbing. Make them believe you girl. This is it. Fuck it up and you're dead. Her head spun, and she leaned forwards over her knees. Her hands were still tightly tied behind her back and her hair fell to the sand.

"Please no!" She sobbed, heaves racking her body. Not too much, but not too little. She couldn't over-do it either. "Please! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" She repeated like a girl in hysteria. At least she was doing good. If they decided to kill her, it would only be out of hatred for her race. Christina knew she should stay in her submissive pose, so as not to offend them, but she had to see if her charade was working. Heart pounding, she lifted her eyes slightly. The girl was standing stiffly, body shaking. And not the way Chrissy's small form was. No. This girl's body was shaking with anger. Immediately, fear flooded her again and she dropped her eyes back down, focusing on the smell of her own blood running down her wrists to keep her from going insane.

"Let's just kill her now, Cedric," Christina heard the girl hiss towards her, causing her to coke on her sobs and cough into the sand, shaking so violently, she thought her delicate form would break until it finally stopped. That was the thing about Christina. She looked harmless, but really was anything but. "Not until we hear what she has to say." She heard Cedric say and thanked him silently in her head.

Now's your time. Do it or let them kill you. Chris urged herself on. "No! Please! don't kill me! I mean no harm! I swear!" She managed to choke out. The opal pendant at the base of her neck began to burn against her skin. Not literally of course, but sort of like an itch you have to scratch. The necklace was her "tell". People who knew her really well knew she was lying if she touched it's pendant. Now, her hands were tied behind her back so she couldn't and she felt as though she needed to. To keep herself on task. "Please." She whispered, sobs slowing a little more this time. "I'm sorry... The other vampires banished me here. They told me that you would kill me and if you sent me back, they would kill me." Her hands still shook as she lied, knuckles whitening where they gripped each other. A wind blew and she shivered slightly, cold and wet. Please, please have mercy.

OOC:Bleh. Not my best. Just saying, I was a bit confused on who said what, but I think I got it right. If I didn't, I'm sorry.

Portia Lightwood stood on the shore of her island, a small smirk on her full lips. One fang pricked her bottom lip slightly as she watched her sister's little white death-boat disappear in the distance. One arm was slung over her hip, the other raised, using her hand to shade her eyes from the sun so she could see better. In the hand on her hip, hung a pair of glittering silver heels. She couldn't wear them in the sand without sinking straight down so she'd taken them off and now stood on the beach in her bare feet and a velvet black dress. A good club look. Too bad there were no clubs on the island.

Her emerald eyes narrowed when Clinton and her little sister reached close to the island across the way and Clinton rose, throwing the tiny shape of her sister into the brutal waves. Portia grinned wickedly, but the wind picked up quickly and as quick as the smile had appeared, it had disappeared, replaced by annoyance as she fought to hold her long black hair in place. Clinton began rowing back and she watched her sister's bound-up form struggle in the water. She'd bound her too-tight on purpose. The little bitch was going over there pretending to be banished. Why not complete their story?

Portia tugged on the edge of her dress as she waited for Clinton to make it back. When he was on shore, she ran out to meet him, letting him haul in the white row-boat on his own. "Think she can do it?" Portia asked with a slight smile at the thought of her perfect little sister failing at something. For once.

Clinton rolled his eyes in slight annoyance when his twin ran out to meet him at the water, but let him carry the load of the boat. "You know Portia, it would be nice if you actually did some labor every once in a while." He grumbled before answering her. He looked up at the smug look on her face and glanced at the glittering heels swinging carelessly in her hand before looking back down at the sand again with his own smile. "Not a chance. They'll kill her before she even utters a word." He laughed lightly and threw the boat down, ushering his sister off the beach and up onto the path that lead to the mansion. When they reached the house, he noted how she let him get the door for her.

"Well if she dies, we've got that nosy little slut off our hands and if she lives, we've got a successful spy. It's a win-win situation." His sister let out a dreamy sigh. "God I'm such a genius." Clinton scoffed and nudged her gently.

"Watch it girl, you get any bigger of a head and you wont be able to hold it up." He reveled in the sneer she shot him and sighed. What Portia had said was true though. Christina was nothing but a little country girl they'd only known for a few years and nothing but a problem. Literally all she did was annoy. She was perfect. She could lie perfectly, steal perfectly, flirt perfectly, had that sweet little country accent, her tiny little delicate frame, and that oh-so-innocent first appearance. It was sickening. Plus, she'd gotten to live with their mother while Portia and himself had been stuck with their piece-of-shit dad. Christina had never ever talked about their mother, but Clinton had guessed that her little country life was just that. Simple and perfect. Giving Portia and him enough reason to hate her.

Portia rolled her eyes at her brother. "Oh please, you know it's true." She stuck out her tongue and laughed, placing a hand on his shoulder for balance as she slipped back into her heels. Instantly, she gained an inch on her brother though she was still shorter than him, the two of them together were enough to intimidate anyone. Both tall and graceful. Oh. Then there was the part about the fangs and the ruthlessness and what-not. "Come on." She gestured. "Let's go tell Katherine."

Together, they made their way out to where Katherine was and Portia smiled at their Coven leader. "Katherine!" She beamed. "We just sent Christina out." She reported. "If all goes well she promised to report to us by tonight. If not, she was killed." Her green eyes blinked hopefully even though her face held a smile.

Evana walked calmly, catching a faint whiff of something foul, but ignoring it. That is, until Cedric stopped and practically snarled, "Vampire."

Eva placed the unpleasant scent to the vampire and her lips curled in disgust. She had never had much contact with vampires before but all of them had been horrendous experiences. While she appeared calm, albeit disgusted, inside she was fuming with anger at the memory of her last encounter with a vampire. She shut down the train of thought as it began, hoping to stop the memories from going through her mind once again.

The movement of Gabe confused her. She was supposed to be free here, to do what she wants, and he was blocking her from the possible excitement of a fight. Her eyes narrowed in suspicion, but she let it be for the moment. With ease, she walked around to on side of the vampire, far enough to be safe, but close enough for her curiosity to be satisfied. She was a bit startled at the appearance of the girl. She was a soaking, sobbing mess. Her eyes, though hidden by her dark sunglasses, softened slightly. Her first thought was to walk over to the girl, to tell her things would be alright, but she didn't know this Cedric man, he may not want a vampire anywhere near his island.

"What fun, and on the first day too," she muttered the words not really meant for anyone but herself.

Re: [OOC] The Island of The Wolf

Hey guys! Soooo sorry it's taking me to post. I didn't expect my weekend to be this busy. If my plans for today don't work out, I'll get a post written up by tonight. But if the plans do work out, I probably won't get to write one up until either late tonight or early tomorrow. Sowwy. :(

Re: [OOC] The Island of The Wolf

My first post is up. If BriBriBearx doesn't post soon, and there is not another "evil vampire" to join this side of the RP, then I'll be making another character.

For now, I am dead tired, and am about to pass out. G'Night all =w=
