- Atychiphobia - Fear of failure. Kara has very high expectations of herself, and failing anything, especially if it were important, would devastate her greatly.
"I suppose that I, too, am a unique person."
Kara tends to think about really dark things. While she always seems to be quite calm and her day to day self, she always has been thinking of dark things, although it doesn't seem to really affect her. She is more known for her rebelliousness and courage to do things most wouldn't, as she wants to do everything she could possibly do before passing into the next world. The deepest secret Kara keeps from everyone she knows is that she is quite lonely. She feels as if she is unable to fit in anywhere, and even though she is not too bothered by it, it is often the most common thing on her mind.
Kara was born under a father a mother as a single child. She was an odd child, being different from the others. Some of the younger girls dreamt of falling in love, the boys wanted to go fight, but Kara was the strange one that wanted to explore the dangerous forest of the unknown.
Her mother and father, being very protective, and normal people, continuously asked her to stop pleading for something so insane. They didn't want to stand out of be different, but no matter how much they tried to talk to her, she wouldn't listen, no matter the age.
Because of this, she was always alone. She was different. She couldn't fit in with the girls, or the guys. One of a kind? Being special? Those were supposed to be good things, she thought, but after finally experiencing them for herself, being alone wasn't something she wanted.
It didn't bother her too much though. Being alone had its advantages, though there were very little, but nevertheless, the thought of being alone either comforted her or just made her feel like she didn't belong anywhere.
When the loniless comforted her though, it was nice. She studied everything she could about things of the outside. She could have done many things with her intelligence, but she was too rebellious and too foolish to do so. She only had her eyes on the forest, wondering what a Leffin looked like and who had seen it, and if you really couldn't run away from a Dok in the forest.
After much time of studying and still dreaming on, it was time to pick the four who would venture outwards, and after those many nights of praying to see the outside word, Kara finally got her wish. Her father and mother were in tears, but she promised them she'd come back once she completely her task, which was to go to that certain place.
No one knows what she means by this, and she hardly does herself, but she feels that once she finds it, she'll know that her goal in life was achieved.
