Due to being born into the Seraphites, Deirdre has facial scarring like all the others within the faction. Those who are born within the Seraphites are permanently scarred as per tradition as 'An acknowledgement of mankind's innate imperfection' as their Prophet had taught. Ever since Deirdre had broken away from the Seraphites, she's worn a plain, dark brown bandanna that covers the lower half of her face, in an attempt at covering her scars.

Due to a mixture of the life style she was born to uphold, not having much in terms of material things and the fact when she escaped Haven, all Deirdre had was in on her person when she dared to leave. But since her time on the Main Land of the coast and recently the south side of Seattle, she's gathered a few things. Firstly, Deirdre had augmented a regular Compound Bow, with scrap metal and other 'Old World' materials. It's been refurbished to withold more wear and tear compared to your average Bow, as well as duel-functioning as an impromptu melee weapon if she ever finds herself in a tricky situation. Due to the metal that has been graphed onto it, the bow can withstand a few melee bows before needing to be repaired, she's witnessed firsthand how sturdy it is after she had beaten a Runner to death with it after sneaking up on it. Secondly, Deirdre has an augmented Spear, much like her bow. She's graphed and fused metal and other things together to form a make-shift melee weapon. It's proven to come in hand with being able to pierce the hardened fungus-like armor of Clickers.

Lastly, Deirdre has a backpack that she managed to come across after escaping Haven. It contains a simple bed-roll, food rations she's managed to collect (two glass jars of fruit preserves, some dried meat, etc.), a medium sized canteen, few spare rags/pieces of cloth, and whatever scrap material she comes across for crafting more arrows and whatever else she needs for daily survival.

H I S T O R Y
Deirdre had been born in the small village known as Haven on Seraphite Island, which resided somewhere far from the Mainland of Seattle, Washington. Like all that are born within the barbaric faction, Deirdre had it ingrained and instilled into her from a young age to with-hold the values and views of her people. Faith. Asceticism. Staunch traditionalism. Notorious brutality. All of those she had ingrained into her very being by the time she barely five years old. Which, if she wanted to survive in a world like this, she had to not only believe them, but put them into practice.

She had proven to be proficient in physical labor and combat at an early age, so as per tradition, the Elders of the Seraphites had dictated she'd become a warrior. Which only put her through absolute hell and then some. Deirdre was exposed to the true nature of her people, and the worst things humanity was capable of by the time she was eleven years old. Even as far as being forced to 'Free a Sinner of their sin' on her twelfth birthday. That act alone had scarred Deirdre to her very core, still suffering from nightmares to this very day.

Things had only seemed to get worse as the years had gone on. The more she saw and experienced out in the world, the more the nightmares would come to Deirdre in her sleep. From her involvement with killing countless 'Wolves' (WLF's), both adults and children, to seeing her own younger brother being killed for trying to go against tradition when he was caught kissing another man.

But, there was always something to note about Deirdre, no matter the horrific things she had seen or done, it never changed who she was. Deirdre was always a curious girl. Always wanting to know things about the Old World. What was life like back then? Before the 'Demons' scoured the earth? What was the world like before it was always filled with bloodthirsty war? Deirdre always wanted to know, and still does. During a few scouting patrols back on the Main Land, Deirdre had listened in on a few WLF soldiers. Picking up on some of the history and world through them. It was only after she learned more, mixed with discovering things herself that she began to finally question everything she ever knew.

When Deirdre turned eight-teen years old, she found herself needing to hide even more about herself. Realizing she looked at others in ways that were deemed 'sinful' and 'against tradition', Deirdre burried much of her feelings and even herself deep down. If she didn't acknowledge it, then maybe it'd go away. It was only after Ezekiel's death that everything came into perspective for her. The Seraphites ways truly were barbaric if they were going to murder someone for being attracted the same sex. It was that act alone that caused Deirdre to make the decision to finally break away from her faction.

It was less than four months ago that Deirdre had decided to finally leave Haven, and the Seraphites all together. Being marked as an Apostate and traitor, Deirdre has been on the run ever since. Fleeing the island and making her way to the Main Land, with just enough of her life intact once she reached land. Deirdre hasn't been able to stop running since she left. She's painted a target on her back, and fully knows that until her life is taken like her brother's, she'll be continously hunted down by the Seraphites.

Deirdre has been hiding out along a strip of abandoned buildings that run along the southern border of Seattle. She's made a small base within one of the larger buildings that she's fortified off, and cleared out of any infected. She knows she can't stay there forever, but until then, she's been gathering supplies and crafting weapons and anything else she can think of before she makes her final trip out of Seattle. If she wants to make it out alive for more than a day, she'll need to be prepared. Until then, Deirdre is hunkering down in the shadows of Seattle, and lying in wait for her time to come and break way from hiding...
