PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Not many has seen the King's face and most that did barely spoke of him. He appears as a weathered man who has certainly seen better days yet is not even close to retiring. He stands at 6'0 flat without his armor though his build discourages most from messing around with him. He is rarely seen without full armor, making his appearance all the more imposing.
PERSONALITY:
If looks were any indicator of one's personality, Bismarck probably takes the cake as he is very strict and very imposing. He detests stagnation the most, making sure to maintain as much pressure on the nobility and his vassals so that they continue to provide only the best of services to the kingdom. He is very sympathetic to his kingdom's military and his knights, leading them by example by fighting with them on the front lines.
He desires not only peace but prosperity along with it, always ready to trample upon those who he gets in his way. He follows nature's unwritten law of the "strong vanishing the weak" and he makes sure that his enemies know this once they face him in the field of battle. Once victorious, he doesn't go too far in his endeavor. He never humiliates his opponents nor cause any harm to their pride and dignity. This charisma of his aids him in his conquest as the vanquished also feels inspired to follow the King who leads by example.

BIOGRAPHY:
The Cain line was very treacherous and riddled with controversy and killings. Relatives are all trying to outsmart the others, resulting in a series of brutal killings, all in order to take a spot on the throne. Bismarck was the second child of the current King, along with thirteen other siblings due to his father's polygamy. He detested his family's state of affairs as he hears how the citizens spoke of their once great bloodline. This sparked a desire for him to win back honor for the family name and did so through strength of arms.
He was knighted at an age of 20 and would participate in several skirmishes against the enemy Kingdom of Valein, most of it ending in victory. His strong will and popularity among the military secured his succession as King and was deemed as a better candidate than his weak-willed older brother. At the age of 35, he finally became King of Roune.
His first task as the King was to resolve all their internal matters, putting a halt to their attacks on other kingdoms. Many of his relatives opposed his succession and began assembling forces to launch a coup against him. Leading his own knights into battle, he vanquished the opposing forces and decided to put an end to the blood feud by executing every single one of his other relatives regardless if they were nobility or not, leaving only a handful of siblings alive though he had stripped them of their high status and reduced them to mere landowners with no political power whatsoever.
While his followers celebrated their victory, he couldn't help but notice that their battle had devastated much of the kingdom. Along with his father's inefficient campaign against Valein, funds and resources were running out fast. The trade network had plummeted due to the internal strife and the crop yield was at an all-time low. All these things considered, he finally turned to his military for his answer. By annexing the neighboring Kingdom of Valein, he can make use of its resources to salvage his own. And thus he continues the battle started by his ancestors, this time with more efficiency, seizing more territory which allowed his kingdom to get back on its own feet.
One winter, he decided to take control of a strategic point among the mountain trails for easier access to Valein without needing to take its main force head on. He tried to set up a camp but was met with resistance from the forces led by a Knight of Valein. He tried pushing on but his opponents made better use of the terrain and the cold forcing them into a retreat. Unfortunately, he was caught in a pincer attack along the narrow pass. Left with no choice, they were forced to retreat by plowing straight into the paths which he fortunately, survived. This would mark his first decisive defeat at Valein but in exchange, he was able to learn of the Dragon's Sword.
He was intrigued by this omnipotent weapon but he wasn't willing to put faith in a mere rumor alone. With this, he sent a separate detachment led by the Knight Artemis to retrieve it while he maintains the offensive on the front lines, not allowing his enemies even a moment of reprieve.

W E A P O N:
Bismarck is able to wield an array of weapons, not restricting himself to just one. His main armaments consists of a powerful steel lance and a sword. The sword itself is rather large, dwarfing even some zweihanders though he is capable of swinging it with one hand.
He takes pride in his armor, having saved him countless times in the battlefield. It is very durable and easy to wear and take off, contrary to its complicated looks, in the event that it starts to become dead weight. It has been a while since anyone's knocked him off his horse and so the armor continues to take as much punishment as it can in the field of battle.
He fights as part of the Roune Cavalry. As such, it is imperative that he rides a horse. Roune horses are specially bred to be stronger, faster and more aggressive than Valein horses though they are harder to tame as a result. He has no qualms about replacing horses as the need arises though his current one hasn't shown any signs of weakness yet.
DO THEY WANT THE SWORD? WHY DO THEY WANT IT?
He seeks the sword out for two reasons: His first reason is to cement Roune's strength for all other kingdoms to follow. Even if their military has proven time and time again that they appear to be the better fighters, obtaining the sword will extend their influence not only to Valein but to the entire continent. The next is in its value as a weapon. Having heard stories of it, one must wonder whether the claims of its strength are actually true and he is very much excited to see it with his own eyes.
