If there is anything more flamboyant than his looks, it has to be Rasmus' personality. Able to talk a poor man out of any change, Rasmus has a silver lined tongue. But more so, its his personality that makes him great as a diplomat. He works mostly on worlds in between the Sora Republic and the dominating Ulfire Empire. However, he seems to flourish in this environment, as hes never had a complaint yet. Always willing to have a good time, he squanders what free time he has, drowning in fine wines and gambling away his funds for the week. He has no problems with procrastination, but when things need to get done, there is another side of him that shines through. A more noble, kind hearted figure who is both wise and firm in the rules. As a knight, he takes his responsibilities to another level. He is very in-depth about the meaning to being a knight and the sacrifices that must be made.
However, if there was a secret to him that no one could explain it would be his inherent malice towards the very people he protects so vigorously. Because he is a Phoenix, an outlaw and vagabond- because he is hated and feared for what he is, he can never be true to himself, thus breaking an oath he made upon becoming a knight in the first place. His resentment stems not soleky on those responsible for his people's genocide, but within himself as well.
Rasmus' weapon is a heavy appearing sword with a Falchion design and an energy blade. The blade seems to arch back heavily as it extends, nearer to the tip of the weapon.
Rasmus was brought to the world Xardaos in what is now Soran space, by his mother who had been mortally wounded. She brought him to a loyal supporter of the Phoenix, whon cared for the boy as he grew. Without any truly distinguishable markings the child lived in relative peace. He would learn of his gifts from his adoptive parent. While this parent wasn't a Phoenix himself, he was graciously accepted by one in the years prior to the revolt. This Phoenix was in fact, Rasmus' father Rameus. When the time came, Rasmus enlisted into the Academy of Knights. There he was quick to learn, and his thirst for knowledge had him in the libraries well into the mornings. He generally excelled at anything though battlefield tactical and live combat training he was particularly good at, with Diplomacy coming in at a very close third place on his roster. The teachers could not explain why he chose to fight so ardently, yet he could easily sway the hearts and minds of those around him.
When graduation came, he was among a select few to be granted exclusive Elite status. He went on to fight through more than seventy missions, and more than fifty awards. It was during this time he met and befriended Commander Roka. The two became very close friends in the short span. However, he finally closed the fighting chapter in his life, and became a diplomat between the Soran Republic and the Ulfire Empire, the two largest entities of known space.
