Akira has a slim, athletic build and, overall, does not look very imposing. His hair is black, with the right of his head shaved, forming a wild look out of the hair at the top and left side of his head. He has a tattoo of battling snakes on his left forearm and multiple points on his face are pierced, though he rarely wears them anymore. He use to care a lot about how his clothes looked, but he has sort of grown out of that phase in his life, preferring to just sport a plain t and jeans if given the opportunity.

Mentality

|| Personality ||
Akira often appears to be quite a lethargic and unmotivated young man, rarely doing as he is told and often getting into trouble for it. This "problem" in his personality comes from a boredom with most of the daily routines of his own life and the lack of excitement around him. He rarely ever shows any seriousness, often being equipped with a witty comeback or taunt for whoever is trying to pressure him. He has shown an incredible lack of respect for authority and has run into trouble with teachers and the law several times do to this. He does not do this because he thinks it makes him cool, but rather, to him, respect is something you have to earn and it can't be given regardless of your title or age. He believes it is pretty simple, you need a code and with that nothing can touch you. Akira can come across as uncaring, or even callous, but he does have a strong sense of justice and will never go back on his word. He detests liars more than anything else, believing when someone goes back on their word, they are dead to him. End of story.

Akira has always had a habit of getting into fights, despite the fact he states he can't stand violence. Even with that, he still will often go out of his way to irritate people further, until the point they are willing to fight if only to make that smug look on his face disappear. He respects people who put their minds to something and never give up, regardless if he believes their goal is even within the realm of possibility. The trait he admires is the perseverance, and not necessarily the intelligence. The reason for this is he doesn't feel anything is worth striving for, so those who do make such attempts are able to do something he can't. Akira has a special talent. That talent being his incredible ability to get under people's skin with an almost effortless finesse.

Transformation

Image

|| What do you transform into? ||
Zuijin
|| What tasks would your character be performing most? ||

|| What has the mistress changed about about you physically? ||
Akira's hair has grown out significantly and his skin is far more tan than it originally was. He is almost four inches taller with more noticeable muscular definition. He has intricate red markings covering his body and his nails have grown out and turned red as well. He ears, teeth, and eyes are more animalistic in appearance, but its more reminiscent of a feral predator than anything else. He wields a large, red sword that he is able to wield effortlessly despite the fact he has no formal training. Zuijin are warrior-guardians that protect the gates, forcing any who wish to bring harm to those inside to go up against them. He seems more mature in this form, though also more easily annoyed.

History

|| Biography ||
Akira comes from a fairly well-off family, with both of his parents being highly touted members of their particular fields. It is due to this however that Akira has grown quite accustomed to an empty house, never really seeing his parents as they were often off gallivanting around the world on business trips. Beyond that, one could say Akira has had a fairly boring life. Most of what makes him, well him, is nature more so than nurture. From the time he learned he could mouth off, he has found himself getting into some form of trouble. However, he has always been at the top, or at least near the top, of his classes so there was nothing the school could really do. Hell, half the time they couldn't get in touch with his parents, so there wasn't any real way to discipline him except for sending him back to that empty, big house. Despite all this, he doesn't seem to really let it effect him, often inviting friends over and letting people crash there if they needed someplace to run to. Akira was involved in an incident about a year ago that almost ended in someone getting hurt, and it made the rounds in the school for a few good weeks until he finally showed back up for class. Since then he has been fairly quiet, outside of school wise at least. He still mocks teachers, and rubs others the wrong way, but he seems to be settling down, if even just.

Akira doesn't believe in the legend of this shrine, but he was willing to check it out if only to kill some time on yet another boring school function. He doesn't believe in the supernatural as, by his nature, he is a materialist and therefore only believes in what he can see. But, that doesn't mean watching others scare themselves in these dark woods wouldn't be oar for the course with his line of thinking.

So begins...

Ren Hirano

The awaited and much anticipated trip to the village of Gokayama had finally came! Many students had anticipated the trip, most of which only cared for the free day off school. While others felt it would be a great historic trip. When the students arrived, the air was rich and the weather perfect; perfect for a trip in the woods that is. Ren had organized a little bit of an event of her own while they were here. She had heard of a legend where if you found a shrine within the forest of this village, you would find yourself engulfed into the Yōkai world.
Night had arrived, and the students were taking refuge in an inn within the village.

"Time to get this show on a road!"

Hyped and ready Ren stood near the entrance of the forest, awaiting for her fellow students to arrive themselves. Although energetic as always, Ren couldn't help but feel a little nervous. She had invited quite a mix of people, personality wise. It wouldn't be a surprised if not all of them got along, but hopefully some sort of bonds would be made. It wasn't to clear to even herself why she even wanted to do this, she could just search for the shrine alone, it's not as if she is scared of getting dirty or some serial killer being out there; after all it was a peaceful village. After seeing some of her fellow students and hearing the rumors that were spoken of them, she honestly felt like reaching a hand out and maybe making some fond memory in their lives. Atleast that's what Ren was hoping for, just a fond memory she could look back on and laugh about.

Even with the slight hope of such bonds or memories being made, Ren didn't quite have her hopes up on everything going well. People always had some sort of problem with another and don't look past it quite often. It's the sad truth, but even if plastic friendships here are made, at least hopefully they would have a good time.

Ren lifted her head and looked at the night sky, it was gorgeous, nothing you would ever see out in the city. " Honestly, I wouldn't mind living in a place like this..." she muttered to herself. I bet the people here really have to work hard for their living, no desk jobs, only labor could suffice.she thought.
"Aaah! I would much rather live in a castle though! Maids and butlers, then a prince would come my way and lift me off my feet and take me away!" speaking her mind allowed again, if you saw her she would be blushing and swinging her arms back in forth as she day dreamed of such a fantasy. Ren didn't have luxury back at home, she can at least dream of it for the time being.
After calming down, she looked around for anyone whom may have been close. I twas hard to see in this darkness, all she had to light her way was a flashlight. A rather dinky flash light, hardly worked right, but it's all she had. She waved the light around, tyring to look for anyone whom seemed familiar. She couldn't quite make out anything, so she simply put the flash light down and put her hands in her pockets.
Ren was wearing her normal attire, a white plain t-shirt and some regular shorts. Nothing that would stand out, but enough to bare through the slight chill in the air. At this point there wasn't much for Ren to do but wait. She simply leaned against a tree and looked to the stars as she thought of her current situation with the others and what this little event could bring.

"The Kurokawa Inn"

Chatter and laughter was filling the rooms all around the inn, it was quite and active night. Many guests spending their time in the gambling hall, to dining, and even some ruckus going on in the bedrooms. The inn was indeed very active tonight. Recently the inn's popularity has been rising, news of wonderful events and the service being outstanding. All of this popularity has made the staff work harder than they should, it was time for some new employees to be hired.

On the very top floor of the inn, through an elevator,a flight of stairs, through a couple doors sat the head of the Inn, The Mistress. She was the head of every thing that was a part of the inn, from the building to the staff. Every breathing employee was hers, they did work for her after all. The lack of staff with the increasing popularity was no mystery to her, she knew of it and had planned to take care of it.
She sat at her desk, her room full of books, jewelry, and important papers that she so diligently kept track of. Her stunning appearance never faded even when taking care of the work she had to pull all nighters for. She was a diligent woman and it took more then lack of sleep to effect her appearance and capabilities.

"Raka, it is time we file some new contracts."

She smiled the well known sly smile of hers, she looked to Raka with stern eyes.

"Give the staff their orders, do not inform them of the newcomers we will be having. Only you are to lead them to me, when I call for the rest of the staff, only then will they play their part in training the new recruits. Have Penelope entertain the guests, the guests enjoy it. As for her morning shift she will be required to collect a list of what ingredients the chef needs, it's time to restock. Once she is done, she will hand it to you in whom you will hand it to me.

As for Jurou, he will be needed in the dining hall. Specifically catering to the women, our gender ratio isn't equal and we have more males visiting the inn then women. If he plays an attractive role then it will help spread word of out inn to the women. Make sure he also serves...the unattractive women as well. No cutting corners. As for his Morning shift, he will be put to labour. I want him scrubbing the floors of the main lobby and cleaning and resetting tables in the Dining Hall.

For now your duty will be to retrieve the new members and escorting them here. You will be given further orders later. Inform the other employees what I have told you and cater to anyone who needs it until they arrive."

She stood and turned herself to stare out of the window of her office. She focused her herself on what was the other side of this realm on a very specific place. She unsealed the magic placed on a shrine deep in a forest, she herself would not know what sort of people would investigate it, nor did she know how long it would be for anyone to step foot into it. It was visible to the human eye now, whom ever dared set their feet into it would find themselves embarked on a new little adventure.
"Only a matter of time..." she muttered to herself."

Akira yawned as he wandered down the hall of the inn, a bored expression plastered on his face. Normally, he would skip school functions like this, but after what happened before, maybe a little of the quiet life was exactly what he needed. He wandered back to his room, most of the guys he was paired with having already gone to sleep. One, a boy he couldn't honestly remember the name of, was playing solitaire on the ground. Akira walked up behind him, looking down at the cards. "Never really understood that game. You do realize its the 21st century, right?" The boy jumped at first, not realizing that Akira had even entered the room. Though, once he realized who it was, he proceeded to very nearly jump again. This wasn't an effect Akira wanted to have on people, but at this point he had essentially dug his own grave and must now live with the consequences. "W-what else am I supposed to do? I didn't bring any electronics." Akira shrugged, walking over to his backpack and shuffling through it. "Yeah, I'm not really into this middle-of-nowhere scene either. Too bad nothings going on tonight." The boy put all the cards back into the deck, realizing he should probably just give up at this point. "Well, this girl named Ren was trying to get people to go into the woods with her to look for a shrine." Akira chuckled, rolling his eyes. "A shrine... really? Well, where was everyone supposed to meet up? The boy hesitantly told Akira the meeting spot. Akira simply nodded his head and pulled a 3DS out of his bag, handing it to the boy and making his way to the door. "Wait, you can't go... what if you get caught?" Akira looked back to him, his eyebrow raised. "Its like, you don't even know who I am. Put the game back in the bag when you're done."

Akira made his way through the woods, trying to be as quiet as possible so as to not disturb anything that was trying to sleep. He was not someone afraid of many things, but being mauled to death by a bear was a scenario he was not too keen on. As he walked he contemplated why he was even bothering to venture out like this. He should have kept his game and played it until he eventually just drifted off into la la land. But, Akira was a night owl, and it would be difficult to get to sleep in that room, the only sight to see being that guy playing another sad card game. As he was walking, he came to the realization that he still did not know that kids name. Smiling to himself he continued on his path, hoping the kid was not brave enough to send him on a wild goose chase as a prank.

He only had to walk a few minutes before he saw a flashlight pointed upward, a rather boyish looking girl trying to set the scene with it. Akira emerged out of the darkness, his hands in his pockets and his head slightly tilted. "Young Lady, you have a true gift of setting an atmosphere." Akira casually strolled over to where the others were standing, realizing his presence was likely a surprise for those involved. "So this is the team, huh?..." Akira trailed off as he looked at them. Apparently, not remembering the names of his classmates was more of a problem for him than he originally thought. To be fair, he had only started attending classes regularly in the last few months. Even before that, when he did show up, he would often get sent to the office for getting a rise out of a teacher. "Well, in my constant search to fend off boredom, I have decided that I will aid you in your efforts to find this temple... house... shrine. It was a shrine, right? Well, off to a good start already. So, are we waiting on others or are we going to get this show on the road? I want to find this tem- shrine, before people start to notice you guys are missing. I say you guys because me going missing is to be expected."

Xavier smiled again as Ren fumbled about for words, he never truly understood why he didn't hang out with her more often, maybe it was due to the fact that she sort of blended into the surroundings at times but so did he. Well hopefully that'll change after this trip, I could teach her a lesson or two on relaxing, he thought cheerfully. He was about to respond when another person made themselves known, a light was shown in the two students direction although it wasn't aimed particularly hi, the sudden brightness made his eyes water slightly, they were always a bit sensitive to sudden changes in lighting. That person was none other than their years rep Sae Azuma; a person Xavier did not count on showing up, she always did seem too serious to him. "Well Sae, I see you're looking as prim and proper as ever." He hoped that he didn't sound offensive to the girl in front of him but to him she was always too serious and a bit cold for him to ever have spoken to her on any subject other than work.

" Ah! That would be me, I'm Ren Hirano. We are class mates, but we haven't really spoken to another much. As for who is coming~ We should be having two more faces coming along as well! Some in which you might like Xavier." Ren exclaimed, a slight snicker coming from her lips, she winked at him and he knew full well who she had meant by that, Rin Hayashi, the girl was easiest the best looking in the class but again she was another one who he rarely talked to on a regular basis. "I don,t know about that, Rennie, I think I'm enjoying our present company a bit more. His lips spread into a sly grin and he returned the wink Ren had sent him, even giving her a slight nudge in the ribs with his elbow. As he did so he scanned her in full detail; it was true what the girls in their class all whispered about, maybe Sae excluded, she had little features body wise to distinguish her from a boy but unlike his own ugly mug and the other lads in his class she was still undoubtedly pretty in her own right.

His attention soon turned to another new comer and once again he was at a loss for words at the new arrival. Akira Kurogane, the allegedly hard knock of the school, now Xavier never did take much heed for rumours especially when it came to supposedly 'bad boys' of the school but even he had mix opinions on him. The slacker had seen the boy often enough to know what he looked like but it was only now that he could fully measure up him; the rumours didn't seem entirely wrong about him. Akira was a good bit taller than him but much less narrower shoulders and chest wise and besides from the punk like hair and peircings, he looked pretty normal.

"I knew you were just a big teddy bear under that reputation." He held his hand out for the boy. "I'm Xavier, you probably don't know this but I sit next you in most of our classes." He gave another grin at the boy before turning his attention back to Ren, standing besides her and whispered in her ears playfully. "Looks like you arranged a double date, hmmmm?"

Ren Hirano

As Ren was attempting to set and spooky mood with the use of the flashlight and her not so spooky expression, she caught a silhouette approaching them. At first she was merely confused on what to make of it, it wasn't until she flashed her light towards the oncoming figure that she jumped and was almost read to cry out sailor words, that was until she realized who it was. Akira Kurogane, the very well known bad boy. Not much was always seen of him, but boy were the rumors always pouring about him. It wasn't a surprise Ren was spooked by him, he had features to him that would spook any living creature. He held the look of trouble to the T. I guess the word really got around... she thought.

"Young Lady, you have a true gift of setting an atmosphere. " Ren quickly shook the surprise of his arrival and replied with a cheerful tone
"Just trying to prep everyone on our awaited adventure, I guess even you couldn't resist hmm?" She gave Akira a slight playful smile. "

"As for the SHRINE, we are currently waiting on one more lovely guest. If she shows up you two both may be thanking me."
Ren observed the current party for a moment, The Laid back boy, The Bad Boy, The Calm and Cool girl, and the...well Ren wasn't quite sure what to call herself, but soon they would have The Idol Girl whom many thought was attractive. Ren couldn't help but smile, what kind of group did she manage to get together?
"Looks like you arranged a double date, hmmmm?"

It didn't take her long to quickly respond to the comment, she shot him a glare, but the obvious embarrassment on her face was perfectly visible. Almost just as quickly as she glared at Xavier, she quickly turned her attention to Sae.
"SO! Sae, worried at all what we may encounter? Everyone has there own fears, but do any of those apply to the dark, creature filled, forest we are about to enter?"

Her thoughts were not fully on the questioned and thought of what would frighten Sae on their voyage, but also another curious thought. What would happen if some how they all got separated from another? Some how losing each other and becoming lost in the woods. Ren planned the meet up, but did not plan for the possible bad happenings that could easily come upon them. Ren knew well she could do the hard labor out in the wild, but no way did she know how to SURVIVE. It was much different getting by at home the getting by in the harsh wilderness.

What if some how they got split up and she managed to pair up with Akira? Would he be the type of guy to roast her up if the situation of having no food was serious enough? What about Xavier? He would be too lazy to do anything! Sae though, Sae was the best option. With all that knowledge in her head she must know something about surviving and finding civilization. With that thought of, Ren finalized her choice to stay near the girl to be sure if they did separate, she would have a better chance surviving along her side.

Rin Hayashi

Rin snuck out of the inn with a wince on her face. Now that she was actually doing it, sneaking out was quite nerve-racking but, it also had its elements of excitement.
The night was darker here then in the city and the stars shone brighter. It admittedly took Rin's breath away when she paused to appreciate it before continuing into the forest edge.

She was secretly surprised when Ren approached her the evening before the school trip to invited her on a private excursion. Just as class finished and she was standing in the corridor, the sudden invitation caught her off guard. Rin didn't even have a chance to respond before Ren disappeared to join her own friends up ahead. It actually took a moment for her to fully recall Ren's name and by then she was already gone.

Rin had given the invite a short moment of consideration before brushing it off but on the journey up to Gokayama Ren had caught her eye, reminding her of their brief contact. She looked to be laughing about a joke or something with other girls from their class. Rin recognised the way they observed her with a mixture of admiration and adoration. Watching her had peaked Rin's curiosity and so here she was, probably breaking curfew to meet with the boyish Hirano.

The forest was easily the darkest, most suspicious gathering of trees Rin had ever set eyes on and it was only when she caught sight of a couple of torch lights that she relaxed alittle. Until that point she'd felt like some hopeless damsel practically asking to be a virgin sacrifice! She even had on a naive but appealing sun dress to match the mood.

Approaching what at first appeared to be two lights floating in mid air, ended up on closer inspection being a group of four. Rin almost hesitated at the sight of Sae, Xavier and Akira, three people she did not expect to see. She'd heard several voices prior to seeing the torches but now her fears had been confirmed.

First straightening out her dress and then hastily rearranging her hair, Rin tried to approach the group with confidence but faltered slightly, her heart beating a little fast at the prospect of hanging out with people she didn't really know. Rin slipped out of the darkness into range of the lights quietly, conscious of the white, yellow flowered strappy dress she'd chosen to wear because of the way it framed her blossoming figure. Immediately on seeing Ren she felt embarrassed for thinking it was just going to be the two of them.

Feeling unusually awkward she rubbed her naked arms. "Should of brought a cardigan"

'Thats right talk about the weather, such an obvious ice breaker' she thought furiously. She smiled in Ren's direction but ended up looking warily at the others, or maybe she looked a little fierce on seeing them all there, like they were intruding.
Being in the presence of Akira made her feel like being a virgin sacrifice was still on the cards. The bad boy look was admittedly a little attractive but ultimately scary. Then there was Xavier who, according to rumour, fancied himself a prankster and would probably spook her out in the forest just for a laugh. These were people she never spoke to. Sae Azuma was the last person she'd expect to be sneaking out with at night.

Rin mentally shook herself to regain clarity. She was here to see what Ren was like, the girl obviously had her fingers dipped in various social circles but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing. Rin had to regain control, it was painted on her face that she was eying them all up out of curiosity or suspicion.

It wasn't much longer before as Ren had said, two more faces joined them, First was Akira, someone Sae wasn't particularly thrilled to have along, but people like him were the reason she even decided to come along in the first place. Sae mostly ignored his statements of rationalization on his presence for this little outing as she continued to scan around, awaiting the final visitor.

"Well Sae, I see you're looking as prim and proper as ever."

With a raised brow Sae cast her gaze over to Xavier for a moment, unsure of what to make of the boy's statement before deciding to simply let it slide for the moment, her attention turning back to Ren as she spoke up in Sae's direction.

"SO! Sae, worried at all what we may encounter? Everyone has there own fears, but do any of those apply to the dark, creature filled, forest we are about to enter?"

Sae paused for a moment to consider the question before giving her reply, "Well, I'm mostly concerned about someone getting serperated, I'm not too worried about any animals out there, given our numbers and our lights most creatures would rather avoid us." As she concluded her rather matter-of-fact statement, the sound of someone else approaching in the distance would catch her attention.

The final member was Rin who didn't seem all too thrilled with the presence of everyone but Ren. That was a bit irrelevant to Sae however, she was simply glad that everyone had made it, it would've been quite a pain if one of them had gotten lost before they had even made it here.

"Should of brought a cardigan"

Sae couldn't help but agree, the girl was clearly not dressed for a trip in the dead of night through a forest. With a few swift movements she slipped out of her jacket and held the heavy piece of clothing out towards her, the cold had never really bothered her and she was wearing a long-sleeved shirt under the jacket anyways, "Here, I imagine it would ruin your trip if you caught a cold, the sleeves might be a little long for you but, better than nothing." With that done, she turned her focus on to the group as a whole.

"Now that we're all here we can get going, please make sure you stick close to one another and take it slow, it'd be easy to trip over a root or a rock out here in the dark. She glanced over to Ren now. Sae had no intention of taking over this little trip from her to lead or anything, but she felt she had to get that out of the way as she wasn't sure how much Ren had really thought all this through. "Now, I assume you know the way? Lead on if everyone's ready."

"I knew you were just a big teddy bear under that reputation. I'm Xavier, you probably don't know this but I sit next you in most of our classes."

Akira raised an eyebrow as he shook Xavier's hand. "Akira." Even with the new information he had, Akira was still looking at the other boy like he had never seen him before. He mostly kept quiet as the others discussed things that, honestly, he was not really paying any attention to. He was more so focused on coming up with a good lie to tell should they not get back in time. He thought the teachers would naturally assume he had kidnapped them in some juvenile prank. While this idea was rather far-fetched, he didn't trust the others not to go along with it should the opportunity present itself. He could not afford to get in serious trouble again, well, he could afford it but it would be kind of annoying. His rather odd line of thinking was interrupted by the feeling of a bug biting him on the arm. He clicked his tongue, coming to the understanding that maybe he wasn't someone meant to go outside. What, with the bug bites, and the occasional bouts of pyromania, the outside world was a dangerous place he was not too fond of at this stage in his evening.

"Should of brought a cardigan"

Akira broke away from his escalating thoughts and turned around to see who the newest arrival was. Ah, someone else I don't know... great, Akira thought to himself as he continued his battle with the local insect life, now starting to feel the biting of bugs that weren't even there. Akira looked the girl from head to toe, smirking to himself. "You're cute. Not really my type, but I can get over that. Ouch, god damn bugs. I swear I will set this whole forest on fire before this night ends." That was Akira for you, saying something like an idiot and then giving no care to the ramifications immediately after. After only a few more seconds of fighting back, he gave up and choose to take this battle as a loss. Judging from how everyone was acting, it seemed as though they were prepared to get under way. Akira wouldn't admit it, but he was a little excited. It had been a while since he had gone out and about at night.

"Now that we're all here we can get going, please make sure you stick close to one another and take it slow, it'd be easy to trip over a root or a rock out here in the dark. Now, I assume you know the way? Lead on if everyone's ready."

Akira chuckled a bit, looking Sae's way as he did so. "Hey, don't be too efficient at things. Makes you come across as a robot. Though that's not necessarily a bad thing, if you come equipped with rockets. Well, you heard her... uh, shit. Ren! Lead the way. If we get lost we can always use the North Star to... where is the North Star? It must be behind clouds. How unfortunate." Akira merely shrugged as he turned to Xavier. "If something happens out there... you fight the bear while I run away with the girls. Sound like plan? Alright, go team." Akira clapped his hands together as he started to follow the others.

The glare he received from Ren made the slacker chuckle to himself, it was all in good nature he hoped and he couldn't help but to notice the crimson blush that spread across her face. Ren was easy to tease but he didn't want to push the matter any further, the was a fine line between playfully teasing and just plain bullying, something he had neither the heart nor the energy to do all."SO! Sae, worried at all what we may encounter? Everyone has there own fears, but do any of those apply to the dark, creature filled, forest we are about to enter?" Xavier couldn't help but to chuckle once again, the girl seriously did have a mischievous to her and that was something he could warm up too, I think tonight's going to be quite fun, even maybe relaxing to some extent. Hell maybe Sae and Rin might lighten up a bit. he thought to himself bringing a small smile to his lips.

He wasn't too surprised to see that Akira had no recollection of him, he may have sat next to the class rebel was suppose to have sit but the incidents of them two being in the same room, or for Akira's case any room in the school, was rather sparse indeed. Both of their attentions went towards the next newcomer and the last for that fact, Rin Hayashi. "Should of brought a cardigan." Xavier cocked his head at the statement, ok, was all he could think, he didn't find it particularly cold tonight and besides from Rin herself, he was the least dressed up for a night time stroll in the woods. He gave her a smile and a small wave none the less, he always did find himself short of words when it came to speaking to the popular girl and he was far from being the best looking lad from their class, he had his own charms of course but his ears were like a double edged sword to people, some found them rather peculiar in a good way, others were put off at the odd birth defect.

Finding his composure, he was just about to offer his over shirt before Sae had kindly offered her own jacket, even if the the student rep was seen as cold to some at least no one could deny she was always thoughtful to others, the thought was short-lived when she had gone back to her usual cold self. How unfortunate." Now Xavier found the comment to be some what unfair to the girl, she did sound aloof at times but so does everyone at some point. "Don't pay attention to him," he stated, standing next to her whilst putting a friendly hand on her shoulder, "you may need a lesson on how to relax once in a while but hey you're a good person."

He gave her a wide smile before he turned to face Akira. "If something happens out there... you fight the bear while I run away with the girls. Sound like plan? Alright, go team." The leaner boy stated to him, walking off after the others. To which Xavier casually strolled up alongside him. "Sure no problem but only if you come back and bring that pyromaniac quality of yours along." He finished this with a laugh and gave Akira a clap on the back. With a huge grin on his face at the thought they were finally going to hit the road and head into the forest, he hummed loudly so all could hear it. "Onis and Yōkais and wisps, oh my!"
