Valar looked blearily around the tap room of the pub. He had a vague recollection of things happening last night. Nothing important though surely. He staggered, outside, half-naked, and dunked his head in the rain barrel, it was cold and shockingly refreshing. He shook his hair dry and looked around. It was a beautiful morning. He was content, now all he needed was for his dragons egg to hatch. But that was a problem for another day, right now he could use breakfast.

I woke later to see bits of egg shell on the floor valar's egg had hatched.

Carla jumped a little when she felt movement and looked up to see Ceralis, a blush spreading across her cheeks when she remember how embarrassing and pathetic she must of looked. Quickly getting up, she almost didn't noticed the newly hatched dragon as she tried to hide her blush until it gave a small cry.
Looking down, she smiled gently at the little creature that had hatched out of its egg. She had never seen light as a baby or another dragon in such a young state, and it was an adorable sight. "I'm going to get Valar, he is going to want to see this!" She smiled once more at the dragon before running downstairs to see Valar making his way inside from where ever he had been. Grabbing his arm, she didn't really give him a chance to protest as she dragged him up the stairs, with quite a lot of strength considering her small size. "Your dragons hatch!" She couldn't help but laugh happily as they entered the room and the baby came back into view.

I looked around hearing Carla leave before starting to chastise myself.
