"I will lead these people out of oppression, at any cost"

a character in “The Last Lion King”, as played by Krypt

Name: Teran

Species: Plains Cheetah

Gender: Male

Age: (In human years) 26

Description: (May use pictures) Sporting fur and spots like any other cheetah, what sets Teran apart from most is the unkempt mane of fur that goes straight down the back of his neck. Not full like a lions mane, more like that of a horse, it is nevertheless a feature that he is self aware about, hating anything that could look similar to that of a lion. His face is usually in a hardened scowl, only letting up when he tries to convince someone to do something, when he manages to throw a charismatic smile on.

Personality: Ambitious, arrogant, and somewhat cruel, Teran will do anything he needs to do to win. He hides it very well though, and only those close to him know of his darkest thoughts. Of course, those who know him well are those he empowers in his small clan, thus keeping them loyal to whatever dark cause he may come up with. Outwardly though, Teran puts on a show of a romantic hero, one that has been oppressed and is putting on a good face for the sake of others. His greatest asset is his charisma, already he has convinced many others to follow him. Although he may have some delusions of grandeur, he nevertheless was able to convince several to flee with him following the murder of the King's sister, and more importantly is able to lead them back as fugitives.

Goals: Teran wants power. The rock, the water, the control, he wants it all. The lion's have had it for too long. Might does not always make right, and he intends to outwit those fools instead of a straight up fight that he would know that he would loose.

Fears: Teran fears directly facing those stronger than him, such as the lions. This is directly related too his greatest fear, and that is death.

History: Growing up before the time of the drought, Teran's early life had nothing other than the usual trivialities that everyone has at a young age. There is no shocking change or dramatic event that made Teran the way he was, he mostly had a quiet life growing up with his sister before the rebellion. What caused his self righteous fury towards the lions started out simply as a seed of jealousy. Jealous of their power, jealous of their control, jealous of their strength. As his jealous festered into envy, he began picking faults with everything he saw with the lions. The taxes on compounded his seething hatred of them, until the point where he figured the only way he could be happy was when he was in control, calling the shots, and ruling the land.
