He looked up at her with worry filled eyes. "Mummy," He whispered not wanting his father to hear him. "Can I go out and play too?"
"They're not playing Xavier," His mother replied with a cold stare. "this isn't play time."
"I know but I want to help too." He looked at the double door that held him back.
"No, your father said to wait here."
"But sissy might be in serious trouble!" His voice started to gain volume.
"I said no, wait here with me."
"What if something happens to sis? What if she's being taken away? What if I'm the only one who could save her?"
"Blake is out there, he can handle it, baby."
"Stop calling me that!" He yelled enraged with his mother now standing. "I'm not a child anymore, alright! I'm not going to sit around and wait anymore. I'm going out to help them!" With that statement he ran through the double doors and running to find his siblings.
((O.O not exactly sure where they are >.<;;))

Mirabella's gaze had not left Kirehsan's face after he'd pulled off the mask. He was stunning. It was... ridiculous how stunning his was. But his devastingly handsome features were marred by anger, pain, and some small flicker of sadness- not self-pity, no. But sadness. Something awful was hidden in his past, maybe even in his present, that made his features twist the way they did and made his dark eyes flicker constantly in suspicion and black rage.
She felt sorry for him. She, the Princess of Nightmare - a DEMON princess - was feeling sorry for the slayer of her people. She groaned quietly. She was officially the worst demon ever. And yet she continued to stare at his face as he looked to her father seeking answers to some apocryphal question that went deeper than the surface meanings of the words.
"My daughter," The King stated as he looked at the girl, "is one of those longing for peace. And she is of brave spirit. She will do what is requested of her because she believes there is more than one way to save her people - and the way she will save them is not by force."
Was that really what her father thought of her? That she was so selfless and giving? Even as her heart swelled, her face fell. She would do this - the marriage - so as not to disappoint him. But to be realistic, even she knew she was not so giving as to marry herself off to Vampricia just for the good of her people. But... for her father...

The demon king seemed to be telling the truth nonetheless, but something still itched at him. Was the demon king truly this benevolent? To throw side the many lives that have fallen because of this war and suddenly call a permanent truce with the kingdoms of his enemies? Kirehsan knew his father wasn't like that. He was a man who would do anything for power and anything to solidify his hold upon the world. Arranged marriages between the kingdoms...what was his gain in doing this. The Vamprician prince could only wonder, keeping his gaze still at the demon king.
"Peace is a naiive concept...it is something unattainable." He finally answered. He seemed less angry, less confrontational, and less irritated. He got the answers he wanted here. "I'll...accept your extension of hospitality." he said again, bringing back up Blake's offer.

"Mirabella, you've had a long night. I thank you for so graciously welcoming our guest, but perhaps it would be best if you let Blake and I handle the rest of the evening," His tone was cold and Mirabella ducked her head in visible shame. Her father was severly disappointed in her unladylike and rude behavior and she was sorry. Her father's disapproval was worse than any physical pain - it burned in the back of her mind for days, filling her with guilt and disquiet. This particular instance was twice as bad because her father thought Blake mature enough to stay - and her too childish. Avoiding the eyes of her brother, Kirehsan, and her father she murmured a quiet farwell and quickly started off for the castle - passing a running Xavier on the way.
"Hey! Xavier! Where are you going?" She laughed as he caught her in a strong hug. Sometimes, due to his youthful demeanor, she forgot that Xavier was nearly as old as Blake and just as strong and tall. If he wanted he could grab her around the middle and swing her around, like he'd just done. It was a rare occassion when he did so - only when he was nervous or concerned for her. "I'm fine, buddy. But I'm really tired. Think you could escort me to bed? Dad and Blake have it all under control," she flinched slightly, "and so I'm heading back to bed. But I might fall over on the way there..."

He draws himself out of his thoughts and looks at Kireshan, "I'm sure if you ask those who have been brought up in peace would disagree with your statement." His words could be taken any way, but of course if Blake were asked it would be the shallow way, no disrespect or hurt intended. Blake did not take kindly to others coming and disturbing his brother and sister.
Blake decides to drop the formalities, having a feeling that Kireshan probably didnt care so much for them. At least he got that from the mask over his face, covering who he truly was. Plus Blake knew how tiring and annoying talking so formally could get. "You can come inside. I'll show you my room. Unless you want to go to the dining room."

Already the Nightmare kingdom surprised him. The princess Mirabella was soft, kind, and yet she showed open hostility towards him. He didn't know her history, but he doubt she's hated anyone more in her life than him. Blake, the eldest prince, he seems worthy to take the place of his father in the future. He was calm and reserved. Kirehsan sensed there was a darkness hidden within him but he held it firmly in control, unlike yours truly. He has yet to meet the youngest prince of Nightmare, but something told him before he left his kingdom he'll probably run into him.
The King himself seemed much different than what he was percieved to be. On the outside he must've been fierce to show the world that he was capable of leading his kingdom. But on the inside, he was a loving father that cared much for his family. Unlike Raekwon.. Kirehsan thought, clenching his fist lightly as he followed Blake. In all honesty he was somewhat jealous of what the Nightmare family had. They were all fairly close and all cared for each other. He however, he wasn't sure if he had anyone to fall back on. Maybe except his sister, she was really the only one who's been there for him all his life. But soon enough she'll be gone from him and he'll have to face his destiny alone.
Initially he was scared of the thought, but as time went by he thought it for the best. This way she won't have to suffer because of me...

Blake pops his head into the kitchen and calls out to the chef, "We have a guest, will you please cook up some..." He pauses and turns to Kireshan, "I dont imagine your hungry after...." He drifts off, remembering the dead body of two gaurds. He had known the two men personally and mourned their death.
His darker side calls for Kiershan's death, but Blake erases that thought. It was better to just be nice and get him out of the kingdom as soon as possible. And keep a watch on him, making sure he didnt do anything else that would endanger his citizens. Plus he didn't want to agravate the other side, renewing the war once again. It was better to avoid any more deaths, because he was sick of watching childhood friends go off to war and come back dead or wounded.

They were bothering him anyway, he had to dispose of them one way or another. Two lesser demon guards won't be missed. They were just fodder in Kirehsan's eyes, though Blake thought differently. Such is the way of the world, conflict at every corner. He knew this all too well. His life was surrounded by it the day he was born...since the day his mother was murdered by the hands of his father. It made him furious just thinking about it.
Once they reached the gardens Kirehsan kept his distance, standing in the center of the field and looking up at the moon that shone brightly in the sky. The darkness reminded him of home, which wasn't a good thing. Home reminded him of his father, which was chained to his hatred. He clenched his fist tightly as memories of the past flooded inside him. Most of the people outside of the Vamprician Kingdom did not know of Kirehsan's hatred for his father, that was probably a good thing. If they did then they would probably start wondering why he fought for such a man. Such thoughts Kirehsan did not need the world to know. He just wanted them to think of him as a monster, one that will one day overtake the Kingdom of Vampricia. By driving my blade into my father's heart... He let loose the last thought inside him, as he glared up at the moon.

Blake turns away and sits down, watching Kireshan carefully. He notices a sudden unease around the vampirican prince. What made him react to this garden so? Maybe it reminds him of something.... Blake pondered about Kireshan's sudden change of mood.

But then, she'd be off married to some Vamprician prince by then, so she wouldn't know. The thought that she alone would have to live as a demon among vampires - the sole outsider - scared her. And the thought of her leaving her home and her family terrified her. But then, she suspected Kireshan both knew and enjoyed the fact that she was terrified. After all, why else would he have asked his probing questions earlier.
She tucked her flute away in it's velvet lined case and sat at the piano, letting her fingers tentatively stroke the keys. The piano made her feel so alive - what if Vampricia didn't have a piano? Many of her other instruments were small enough and light enough she could take them with her. But they served as only temporary reliefs from the hunger of music. Without a piano, her sould could starve. She would... die. She shuddered, new terror filling her, and it rushed out through her fingertips into the piano. The sound filled the room, drifted out the open window to the gardens. It was a song that belied her terror, her despair, her anger at herself and pratically the entire world. But slowly, after a few moments, the song changed - first the anger, then the despair, and finally the terror leaking out of the song to be replaced by a tune that was neither happy nor sad. It was uncertain - sometimes dipping into C major, other times dabbling into A minor. It was smooth and unhurried, except for a few moments of panic that quickened the steps of her fingers.
She played for several minutes, maybe half an hour total, letting her emotions flow out of her. Letting herself bend to the will of her music. Letting herself go. And then finally... her fingers fell silent. With a deep breath, her eyes closed, Mirabella slid the fall shut and fell into bed - spent, exhausted, and content. The last notes she'd played, had been notes of hope. Notes of hope for today and a bright, musical tomorrow.

"Is there anyone you've ever hated so much in your life...that you will stop at nothing to orchestrate their death?" Kirehsan asked, bearing his fangs in anger. He was not confrontational to any degree but it was hard to tell when he's at this point of anguish. Most would fear him and would be ready to meet his attack with the way he was acting now.
He waited for Blake's answer, his cloak flowing along the current of the wind, his mask clutched at his side, and the dark side of the moon shadowing him.

Blake observes Kiershan, noting the increase in his anguish and his muscles tense, ever so slightly. He maintains his relaxed posture. "I can't say I have." Blake says pausing, "Who is it that you are so desprate to kill?"
