Diana is a very self aware person. But she doesn't like to be in the limelight. Pushed to the shadows wherever she goes, Diana has a habit of just running away when things get bad. Inside she would love to just jump up and down and scream to everyone that she is in the room, because most people Just walk right passed her without even looking her way.

History
Diana had her first girlfriend at 13. Kaylen. Nothing serious, you know, two best friends experimenting, that what you do right? Kaylen was just like Diana, an outcast, lurking in the back of class feeding off the stupidity of others around her. The constant taunts and jibs of the bullies around them caused them to meet in a bullying support group... pathetic as it may seem, it was the perfect remedy for both of them. That is of course until Diana's mother found them kissing in her bedroom. Her Catholic parents didn't approve of her life choices and dumped her at this... 'school' with not a word said in her direction.
Seems like everyone she meets ends up leaving her in one way, or anothe

So begins...

Diana watched from the back of the lunch hall as the commotion began, a girl called Inari had stupidly bumped into another girl called Deilah Conners who looked pissed, who would blame her? Diana chuckled to herself "this should be good". You gotta learn how to handle yourself if your gonna survive in a school like this. A school full of misfits and clowns, where the most of the inmates had a one way ticket to the mad house. Diana; for example chose to stay at in the shadows and not be noticed, that way she wasn't bothering anyone and no one was bothering her. At least that's what she told herself. The truth in the matter was that she could never be anyone other than an outcast. A nobody.

Diana watched and couldn't help feeling sorry for Inari. I mean, she looked like she was about to crap herself. that wouldn't be good for her. But then again, it wasn't her problem, if she got involved now she could make enemies and you know what, you don't want enemies at this school. Even as she begged herself not to she found her legs moving towards the now two girls and a bi stander named maria.

"I saw the whole thing, urm, Inari didn't mean to urm bump into you!" Said Diana awkwardly, as she saw Inari shyly smile the faintest smile at her. She didn't need telling that this girl was gonna have a heck of a time at Alexander's.

Soon, people started approaching Inari and Deliah, but one of them was trying to vouch for her. However, the girl's look of pity and 'you have no idea what you got into' just made her more frightened, as she thought they were going to gang up on her. Before anyone could say any more, she blurted out
"I-Imreallysorrypleaseforgiveme!" With that she turned to the door, and sprinted away. She eventually burst through the main doors, and took solace in the courtyard, sitting against one of the Academy walls, quivering and eating her sandwich. She looked down at the scarring on her hand, which also extended to the most of that side of her torso and face, and the quivering became more intense, as if she was a phone set to vibrate.

Diana stood there stupidly as the small girl ran from the lunch hall. She had a small bit of sympathy for the girl, but you know what? It wasn't her problem. Diana's task for the day was finding a way to get everyone to stop looking at her and sneak back into the shadow like she always does. She looked down at the floor where Delilahs books lay, picked them up and handed them to her, whilst walking past. Surely that was the right move... right? Without waiting to see what Deilah or any of the other people in the lunch hall had to say, she walked out, head down, eyes down and hands in her pocket. The perfect way to walk without being noticed!

Diana walked from the lunch hall and didn't stop walking. If anyone had called after her, she didn't hear them! It was just... her thoughts were getting stronger and stronger, louder and louder. She walked until she got to one of the school playing fields with a couple of oak trees by the sides. perfect. Walking up to an oak tree, she whistled to herself, trying to keep the thoughts from manifesting in her brain. as she approached the tree she lifted up her arms and grabbed hold of a branch to swing herself up. Her feet swung to the trunk of the tree, finding the same nob she always found to give her a foot up. In no time at all she was on top of the tree sitting cross legged.
she still had about half an hour left of lunch and as she looked up at the sky she realized it was a perfect day to think. To think about the past, the present... even the future. Diana thought about how school teaches you that these are nothing but tenses, how one cannot simply life in two at the same time.
"that's not true" She said to herself. Diana knew that if she were a teacher she would explain to her pupils that she was 'literally living in the present tense, but metaphorically she was living in the past' because who wants to live a literal life when you have imagination?
Diana's head was always filled with thoughts like these, maybe that's why she didn't fit in so well? But sometimes she liked being a nobody, the freedom of it all. No one to impress or please except herself. Diana hummed a Michael buble song and looked up at the sky again as she let her mind wonder. Now was usually the time that people would start coming out, maybe she would hear some gossip about this night club everyone keeps going on about?

Before Deilah could even react to dust herself off or tell Inari to piss off, the girl had run away. "What a loser," she stated to the air. She took her books when Diana offered them to her without so much as a 'thanks' as she returned to her thoughts. Everyone around here was weird. It only took her a minute to get over it and return to thinking of the Late Night Club again. Actually no, she wasn't over it. She was damn pissed. That bump had knocked her flat on her ass.

Her feet stomped down the path Inari took, ignoring her need for lunch, and when she rounded the corner and saw the girl she slapped a hand against the wall and loudly said, "Hey!" to catch the other girls attention. Part of her wanted to look over her shoulder in case a teacher heard, but she would just have to bluff it out. "You're going to make it up to me for knocking me over, or else."

Diana watched as Deilah stormed up to Inari and she wondered if she should go help the girl?
i mean "your going to make it up to me for knocking me over, or else?" doesn't sound good right? But sitting up in that tree gave her a perfect perfect spot to view the fight. She didn't usually go and help people like this so why did she want to now... she didn't understand. Sitting in the shadows was what she did best and she wasn't about to ruin in over some silly little girl who got herself into trouble. Yes, she would sit up there and watch and if worst came to worst then she would help!
Diana adjusted the position so there would be no chance of anyone spotting her, and watched as the events folded out!

Deilah pursed her lips for a moment in thought before she suddenly gained an almost cruel grin. "You're going to come with me, tonight," she answered with arms folding before her chest. It felt good to command a seniour around. "I'm going to find the Late Night Club and I need someone to cover for me if I get caught." Easy. Her eyes drifted around over her shoulder to make sure nobody heard, and when she was satisfied that no one had, she continued.

"But don't think you can go telling anyone. If we don't find the Late Night Club, then nobody hears about it, alright?" She almost laughed. She felt like an average school bully, but this girl was such a coward she couldn't help it.

The night club... they were talking about the night club. SCORE. This was what Diana needed, a boost in confidence and in reputation, i mean she liked not being popular and everything... but come on, this was the legendary night club they were talking about here! Her attention diverted from the two girls as she thought of all the cool things they would do but was brought back as she saw Inari's head turn and look around. Diana ducked, hoping that she hadn't been spotted, that wasn't what she needed right now. Dana needed to hear everything they were about to say so that she could learn the details, to form a plan.
She was gonna follow them in the shadows, like she was best at, and turn up the the night club... i mean, they couldn't send her away then... could they?
