Description

Ganandorf Dragmire
Image

Ganondorf was born a member of the Gerudo; as the only male member to be born in a hundred years, Ganondorf is made either the King of the Gerudo or the Guardian of the Desert, depending on the game. Gifted with powerful magic, Ganondorf often seeks the omniscient Triforce to grant his wish of conquering the entire world. The Triforce of Power that Ganondorf holds grants him near-immortality; the only weapons that can truly defeat him are the Master Sword, Silver Arrows, and Light Arrows. In addition to granting him power, the Triforce of Power allows Ganondorf to transform into his more powerful beast form, Ganon, reminiscent of a pig or hog. He is ruthless, cold, and calculating. He is also shown to have an ego, believing that only he is worthy to rule the kingdom and showing an arrogant sense of entitlement. One of Ganondorfโ€™s most defining traits is his unquenchable lust for power. Many of his actions are driven by his unending hunger to increase his dominion over the world. With Link gone has has obtained the full power of the Tri Force and has not only dominated Hyrul, but has conquered almost all of the world and is dangerously close to world domination. His greatest dream.

So begins...

With the pest Link gone, the very boy that had defeated him long ago and stopped him from realizing his life time dream of total world Dominance, he had obtained the full power of the Tri force and there was nothing capable of standing in the way of his awesome might. Within a a fort night he had conquered Hyrul completely just as he felt he was always destined to do, but that was not the end of his systematic domination, in only a months time he quickly began to grow his military power and completely bulldoze surrounding lands and making them his own and in the span of just five years him and his Legion had become a military super power that no one even dared to challenge. The rest was easy for with the power of the Tri force within his grasp he was like a God, a God they had no choice but to bow down and accept. Even so his dream of world domination has yet to be fully realized, all over the world there are pockets of resistance standing in his way every chance they got for even with all his power he could not be in all places at once and had to rely on the competence of his Legion to maintain control all around the globe were he could not be himself. However this was hardly a worry to him, he knew that sooner or later his Legion would completely overcome and snub out the resistance once and for all, all it took was time and he knew he had all the time the world had to offer. For many years he's sat comfortably on the throne of Hyrule while his Legion maintained his rock solid grip on the world, and he did so like a child without a care in the world...until recently that is.

On of his captains had caught wind of rumors that a village within Hyrule had been harboring members of the resistance who were planning a surprise assault that would leave his main forces crippled, the captain heard this through one of his subordinates posing as a villager and that very captain reported to Ganondorf's advisers who then reported it directly to him. Needless to say he was not happy but he was not worried, it was times like these that allowed him to live care free for his Legion had proven time and time again that the resistance had no hope of even coming close to usurping his power. They lacked the numbers, military might, and more importantly the magic that was absolutely vital in taking him down and there was no hope of them discovering it. With a listless wave of his hand the order was given to ransack the village and weed out the members of the resistance and all those who aided them for execution, naturally it went off without a hitch and to Ganondorf's pleasant surprise on of the more prominent members of the resistance was among those captured, he was the one leading the assault. Normally executions were dealt with clean and quickly, those captured would be incinerated in seconds by one of his favorite fire breathing pets, but every now and then one of the resistance's ringleaders would be brought in and be very grotesquely executed in public.

Weeks of gory torture and interrogation passed and execution day had finally arrived, Ganondorf was hosting the execution in the massive square of the Hyrule kingdom and villages from all over Hyrule was in attendance as well as Ganondorf himself per usual. The younger villagers were nailed to the post that would be dangling a roaring fame meant to slow roast them alive, the more elderly villagers that had been captured for harboring the fugitives were merely tied up for he did not want their frail bodies to give out before they burned alive. In his bravado he asked for their last words as he usually did and was met with the usual curses and proclamation that " even with our hero gone, justice will prevail! " even the other villagers who were being forced to attend joined in, they all cursed his name but one man more elderly and brittle than the others who had been housing one of the resistance leaders. With a smug grin Ganondorf called out to the old man " And what of you old man, have you nothing to say? Have you accepted you're fate? You should have known it would end this way for you, none stand against me and live to tell the tale...not for ever anyway " he was antagonizing the helpless old man like a bully on a playground, but the old man kept quite. Just as he was about to give the older for the flames to be lit the old man's head rose and he looked Ganondorf right in the eye defiantly and said: " From the ashes of a great hero seven will rise armed with the raw power of mother nature, and with it they will purge the world of the Dark Lord once and for all " and with that the old man closed his eyes and let his head fall back down to his chest. At that moment several different emotions were displayed on Ganondorf's shock, fear, and finally anger but it took him only moments to recover with his usually arrogant smirk, attempting to save face but it was too late. The people had seen the way he reacted to the prophesy and began to mummer to each other, the spectacle was meant to squeeze out what hope they had left but the old man had single handedly fed the flames and he knew there was no stopping the old man's words from spreading.

He watched them all burn but the cries of pain that usually brought him pleasure were lost on him, his mind was elsewhere for instead of feeling pleasure he was now genuinely concerned " No! " he roared in his mind as his hands clenched the handle of his blade " I've come too far, I've accomplished too much to let ANYONE stand in my way now. The old man must have been weaving lies to stir up the resistance, with the boy long dead there is no one left who can possibly stop me now " he told himself this, but even he did not believe his own thoughts. A storm was coming, he could feel it.

The sound of a whinny echoed through the town, and the Gerudo, who we shall now begin to call by her name, Shaiya, rode into the town square, people stepping back in fear. The people always hoped a hero would slay Ganon again, but they knew nothing could slay her, all of them having heard the tales of her being killed in a sword fight by someone who played dirty, then her coming back, walking into the bar they were drinking at, and proceeded to, in front of everyone, prove that she was very much NOT a ghost by bringing several Poes out from nowhere and have them cut him open so she could strangle him with his own intestines, and when he had died, she had forced his skeleton out of his body to serve her as a Stalfos, or the time where she had brought down three squadrons of Hylian knights without even breaking a sweat, even after they had killed her once. Ganon may have had the Triforce of Power, and the might to show it, but Shaiya had the beautiful brutality and integrity that even Ganondorf seemed to lack. After all, Ganon had killed the Hero of Time. She had made him her skeleton puppet and Poe plaything afterwards. Also, this was one of the few times she didn't have her Darknuts with her, which almost made her seem even more violent, as if she was just WAITING for someone to be a fool and try to take advantage of her missing retainers. As she rode up next to her master, she jumped off of Poala with a flip, landing in front of him kneeling down.
"My lord, a word, preferably in private. I'd hate for the Hylians to hear of my news, for it is quite volatile, with a bit of pain for all parties involved." She turned and glared at the townsfolk, and they all dispersed, seeing the rage in her eyes. She then turned to Ganondorf and kept her voice low, so as to prevent any remaining Hylians from overhearing her.
"I saw a man dressed in green today. He looked very similar to one you had a heart-to-heart with a while back, if you catch my drift. I tried to trick him into coming into town for a proper execution, but he ended up escaping." Shaiya thought about the bottle in her bag, and the Fairy Water it held. Tears for a reprieve had seemed like a fair stay of execution at the time, but she decided that it would be best to keep this information a secret.

Kasine cursed outloud, far louder than he wanted people to hear. He gripped the middle of his forehead as he got a headache as soon as Shaiya appeared in town. "Gah...Shes here." He grumbled. His forehead had a constant sharp bulging pain that felt as if someone kept hitting him on the head with a hammer. Suddenly it went away as if it never existed. "I despise her so much sometimes..."

He pushed himself off the wall and ran into the market traffic. He jumped over a horse and into a caravan that was carrying hay. He quickly changed into his true form. He jumped out of the hay in a flash. His black hair rode in the wind as he landed on an unmanned horse. He managed the reins on the horse and made it go into the town square where Ganon was at, along with her.

The towns people feared Kasine as he rode down the street. They quickly huddled the sidewalks as no one had seen a Twili since the Twilight Incident. Kasine basked in their fear and soaked it in to gain more power. Clip clop clop clip clop clip clop. His horse strutted down the street. The town center grew dark and grey clouds that smelt of death started to slowly float overhead.

Kasine jumped down of his horse and grinned at Ganondorf. He bowed down in respect and then quickly stood up before glaring at Shaiya for awhile "What are you doing here?" He said refering to Shaiya. He had never liked Shaiya, her as a whole messed up his game of Chess. Kasine was the King, Link the Knight and Ganon the Castle. Then Shaiya came along and completely ruined his plans. She seemed too loyal to Ganon.

(Like the place didn't already smell after an execution and the embodiment of undeath arriving.)
Shaiya snapped her gaze to Kasine, her eyes narrowing in her animosity towards him.
"Why, Kasine," she said, her already precious sanity not helping much against her rage against him, "You were SUCH a help in trying to kill the man in Hyrule Field earlier... I thought the hawk was a creature meant to KILL, not one to flee at the sight of a few horses." Shaiya wasn't too fond of Kasine, see. She always felt he tried to manipulate others like it was some sort of game to him, and that he saw himself as the kingpin. Funny thing is, the king is the one of the weakest pieces that the enemy aims to destroy, and right now, her addled mind rather wants to see him as an enemy. See, where Kasine saw a chess field, she saw much more, not limiting herself to a few simple pieces, but instead seeing what a few trips to Hell had shown her, and how everyone played out in the grand scheme of things. And that's what threw Kasine off, the fact that she was unnatural, everything about her going against what every Hylian, Zora, Goron and Twili is taught as a child.
"But I'm being rude, I was just telling our Master-" Shaiya added the last part to both piss Kasine off and remind him of his place, "about the lad, and then I was going to inform him of a rebel alliance being quelled in Lake Hylia, thanks to my Stalfos Captains, the Gerudo Desert has been repopulated and the Gerudo fortress is strong once again, Aveil and Poala are both back from escape, and that my Gerudo sisters have finally secured the Desert Colossus and reawakened the Stallord under my power, ready to guard the temple at a moment's notice. What have YOU gotten accomplished while I was getting work done?"

"You were SUCH a help in trying to kill the man in Hyrule Field earlier... I thought the hawk was a creature meant to KILL, not one to flee at the sight of a few horses."

He shrugged the comment off and actually began to chuckle. "Killing him won't do much, It's better to slowly toy with him first. I was going to steal his rupees then see what he would do after. Oh and Shaiya hun, do me a favor and go die again it was much better without you." He then turned his attention to Ganon, he was about to speak until Shaiya once again interrupted.

"about the lad, and then I was going to inform him of a rebel alliance being quelled in Lake Hylia, thanks to my Stalfos Captains, the Gerudo Desert has been repopulated and the Gerudo fortress is strong once again, Aveil and Poala are both back from escape, and that my Gerudo sisters have finally secured the Desert Colossus and reawakened the Stallord under my power, ready to guard the temple at a moment's notice. What have YOU gotten accomplished while I was getting work done?"

"Oh trust me, I've gotten a lot done. He pulled out of his coat a small mirror." The glass was crystal clear and the frame was black and had a demonic look to it.

?The Dark Mirror, Shai you would know nothing about this, your too young. But Ganon might remember. It brings out the darkness in people so Shai, don't look at it or an even uglier version of you will appear." Kasine chuckled at his own joke and put the mirror back inside his coat.

"I also have other projects, most of which Ganon destroyed...Primarily the fused shadows. I went to Hyrule fields and retrieved a piece, no a piece wouldn't be the right word...a fragment of a piece of the fused shadow." This time, from his pants pocket he pulls out a small piece of metal that looks like an eye. "It may look like nothing but it holds a great meaning to my race." He took in another deep breath of air as if he was going to say a long speech. 'I cannot tell you what my plan is as it would ruin the surprise...but lets just say this that since the Twilight Incident I have been planning for awhile and I need a few things. I need Link's Mirror Shield, Ganon I believe you know where that is more than anyone else here..."

Shaiya smiled at his insults. They simply said he was too afraid to actually fight her, so he needed to assert himself by making himself think that she would feel bad at his insults. She held her tongue from saying something that she knew could REALLY piss Kasine off(which she wanted) and awaited Ganondorf's word.

The pungent smell of cooked flesh filled the square with dread and despair, even though they Hylians had received a shining ray of hope witnessing the prisoners slowly cooked alive reminded them all that there was no place his eyes could not see, if there were anymore of the resistance taking refuge in any other neighboring villages they will likely flee to avoid capture. In the distance the sound of a whinny reverberated through the square the townspeople began to mummer and point and he knew his right hand had arrived, Shaiya, the most brutal member of his most trusted Legionairs. He hopped the new she was preparing to present to him was good, the last thing he was in the mood for was bad news. "My lord, a word, preferably in private. I'd hate for the Hylians to hear of my news, for it is quite volatile, with a bit of pain for all parties involved." she said to him as she glared back at the townspeople and causing their dispersal, their movements were sluggish at first but another intense glare from him made them hasten their exits and in they were all gone and on their ways back to their respective villages in under 20 minutes. " Leave us " he barked to his personal guards and they promptly obeyed but not without first giving a respectful bow. Now They were alone.

"I saw a man dressed in green today. He looked very similar to one you had a heart-to-heart with a while back, if you catch my drift. I tried to trick him into coming into town for a proper execution, but he ended up escaping." She reported in a hushed tone. His face darkened when he received the troubling news, not only had his most trusted subordinate delivered the worst possible news at the worst possible time but she had also failed to capture what could prove to be the biggest threat to his goals. His hands were already woven tightly around the handle of his massive sword and he was moments away from drawing it and giving the Gerudo woman a scar that would remind her never to fail him again, his hand was only stayed at the arrival the snake Kasine. But that did not mean his temper had been quelled, far from it, he was nowhere near as blinded by his own bravado as he had been in the past and he was wise to Kasine's plotting and manipulative way, needless to say he was not the most trusted man. However he proved to be a valuable asses, at times, and worth keeping around so long as he kept one eye open at all times around him. Ganondorf was pleased when he heard news of his people's good fortune thanks Shaiya and like that faith in her had been restored and that was the only thing that spared her from what was about to happen next.

" Indeed I do know more than anyone else, but what YOU should know more than anyone else is how much I hate to be interrupted..Kasine " It happened very quickly, he released his grip on the sword with his right hand only and in that same hand formed a ball of dark energy roughly the size of a golf ball, just a small portion of his power but amplified by the powers of the Tri force it would be more than enough to make his point. He thrusted the ball of dark energy outward and sent it flying right into Kasine's chest, it would not kill him but it would be enough to knock him windless and off his feet as well as leaving a scorched hole in his cloths where the dark energy struck him. " Be certain you remember this lesson Kasine because next time I won't be so lenient. And do not be so quick to dismiss her for you are a fool for allowing him to escape, this isn't one of your games of chess, when you find a threate you destroy it utterly. Now we have a problem on our hands that could have been dealt with, perhaps it is you this kingdom would be well off without " He growled as he looked down at the scheming snake " I will see what I can do about getting you what you need, don't make me regret it " He finished off as he he made an about face and began to return to his castle. " Come with me Shaiya, we have much to discuss "

Shaiya bowed to Ganondorf and followed behind him, raising the corpses as Redeads. Granted, they weren't going to be chewing on anyone's heads any time soon, but their bodies wandering around Castle Square would remind everyone who their ruler was. As she walked behind Ganon, she noticed a gleam in the window of a shop. Her Gerudo instincts bade her to see what it was, for she had never been wrong yet when it came to sniffing out treasures she liked.
"Master, with your permission, I would like to look through Castle Town a bit. I've spent so much time out doing your will that I've found that I often have very little time to restock on certain necessities for my travels. If you will it, I can meet you at the castle in ten minutes, I already have a list of things I shall need to attain, and I would wish to ensure that everything reaches where I wish it."

The dark energy ball hit him with great force in his chest. He flew backwards and landed on the hard stone road. He immediately began harnessing dark energy but quickly stopped not wishing to become an enemy of Ganon.

His gray skinned turned purple as the dark energy from the ball was absorbed into his skin. His cloak was partially scorched and smelt of burning rubber. He quickly got up off the hard cement and merely grinned at Ganon.

"Your a fool Ganon, honestly. If I killed him there nothing would have happened, let the stupid little resistance build up, then we kill him. Their moral will fall faster than the kingdom after you killed Link." Kasine snapped his fingers and disappeared into a puff of jet black smoke.

He appeared in a cave that seemed to have running water, a spring or a small river of some sort. It was pitch black and Kasine couldn't see a thing. He snapped his fingers and the whole cave lit up. There were small crystals everywhere that gave off different assortments of light. This was Kaeden's resting spot that no one knew about, it also was also where his experiment was taking place.

He turned around and saw a pedestal that looked like it was missing an ornament on the top. Kaeden put his hand inside his coat that seemed to have pockets that went into the heavens they were so deep. He pulled out the Dark Mirror and set it atop the slick black pedestal. "Step One complete...shame Ganon doesn't trust me, then again I wouldn't trust myself either."

He turned to his right and saw what his chessboard. He sat down on a small football shaped boulder and looked at the Chessboard. The board itself was made out of stone and the pieces were made out of an assortment of different colors. Ironically however there were no teams, each piece had a color that was different from the others which was quite odd for a Chessboard. Kasine picked up a red pawn and threw it against the cave wall causing it to shatter instantly into dozens of tiny pieces. He continued to stare at the Chessboard for what seemed like hours but was only minutes.

The difference between this Chessboard and any other chessboard was that what other people saw was exactly what it was supposed to be, a chessboard. However when Kasine looked at it he saw a time line, each piece had it's own value, it's own special ability. In his mind he was advancing the game, only moving pieces in real time when he needed.

"Ganon is losing trust in me it seems..this is good. This means I can easily do what I desire without much worry." He continued to play the game of chess over and over in his head seeming to forget reality.

For a few minutes he did not respond for his mind was elsewhere, every time he thought of seeing his old nemesis or even some poor fool who looked exactly like him made his skin crawl and his blood boil, whoever this kid was needed to be dealt with swiftly and the fool Kasine had allowed the opportunity to do so. He kept his composure as they made their way through the town back to the castle but the more he thought of this the angrier he got, his right hand curled into a fist that began to tremble and the air around him began to heat up just a bit. He himself was amazed at the fact he held his frustration back enough to avoid delivering a killing blow to Kasine. " What? Ah yes, do as you wish, you'll find me in the throne room " he said after finally realizing what she'd asked him and he continued walking and returned to his own thoughts, already he was in the process of forming a plan to lure out this Link look-alike.

Shaiya bowed once again to her superior, already channeling the spirit of one of her first kills, a girl with blonde hair and blue eyes, Poala, her name had been. As she did so, her features changed to take on the girl's aspects, her hair gaining blond streaks and her skin lightening as she opened her now hazel eyes, a girl who looked to be of Gerudo and Hylian descent. Disguise now in play, she walked into the shop in which she had seen the mirrored trinket, her voice sounding like that of a young Hylian girl's as she spoke.
"Um, excuse me? Is anyone here?"
