You should have been my friend. My enemies don't live very long.
Jol is kind. Sometimes too kind. But many make the mistake that he is also weak for it. He is a master swordsman, having been trained by a retired Shiekah warrior in kakariko. He is reluctant to fight, but is hard to beat when he does. He will instantly run to help someone he believes cannot hold their own fight. he will also never strike someone he deems cant strike back. He is a very elpful person, but sometimes his clumsiness gets him in trouble. Jol is often seen as an outcast due to his lack of social graces, but to people who truly know him see a profoundly intelligent mind with kind wisdom. He values the well being of others before his own. He also has a strange fondness for Gerudo. He is known to stand on top of the castle walls and let the wind blow over him. He is slow to anger but has a dreadful raging temper when in that condition. This has gotten him into many, many, sticky situations.
Jol is trained to use many weapons, but prefers the Longsword. Given to him by Sahume, the 5 foot blade has a mysterious power. It can control the wind slightly when wielded, as the blade was a relic fromt he goddesses. The longsword is named Ennugiel (enn-new-jee-ell). It will also return to him when lost. When all else fails, Jol will use lightweight knives to carve his enemies. As well as trianing him to fight, Sahume also trained Jol to look within his soul and grasp the power of the goddesses, in short, magic.
Jol was born in Castle Town. He worked as a delivery agent for the Malo mart. He would travel back and from kakriko every week on foot, pulling a mule and wagon behind him. One day, a horde of monsters overtook him and made off with the bomb delivery he had, leaving him nearly dead. He was saved by Renaldo, caretaker of the Eldin SAnctuary in Kakiriko. As he recovered, he was visited by Sahume, a retired Shiekah warrior. Sahume offered to train Jol for all the money he had with him. Jol at first thought to refuse, but Sahume asked which was more important, money, or life? Jol agreed to the offer, giving Sahume all his money. Sahume, also having worked with Gerudos over the years, taught Jol his art. He deemed Jol as an apprentice before sending him back to his home. Since then, Jol has had no failed deliveries. Only the blood of evil and its minions on his hands. He recently made a strange delivery to...a city in the skies?
