Jol The Forsaken

Lost, but Found

0 · 176 views · located in Gerudo Desert

a character in “The Legend of Zelda: The War for Hyrule”, as played by Forsaken Heart

Description

Jol The Forsaken is a titanic god who abandoned his all powerful form for freedom as a mortal. Since all beings are descended from the gods, it is only natural that Jol is humanoid. Except for his wings, which were lost when he transferred bodies, he appears as a normal human. Dark short hair, Green eyes, medium build, and a hieght of 6 foot 2, he easily passes as a tall, young man. Average, but handsome. He is somewhat noticed by single and sometimes not single women. Due to the loss of his memories, he must rediscover his skills bit by bit, although his swordskills and Ennugiel have not left him. He is strong but not fast, agile but still clumsy. He has a toughness about him that rivals nails. He never cries out or curses from physical pain.

Personality

The war had hardened him into a monster, until he perfomred the ritual to transfer bodies. Jol is actually quite kind hearted and helpful, but a bit naive. He has lost all memories of his deeds, but still feels a great power in his fingertips. this gives him confidence and optimism beyond compare. Although he is mortal, he possesses an aura that makes people uneasy about him as well as makes psychics jump out of their socks. This has led to his unusual sense of humor: shock factor. Jol loves the shocked faces of his peers, to the point where he would rather have alaugh then be socially acceptable. But the few who do know him recognize his big heart and a deep, profound mind that sees the truth. Jol is reluctant to fight but will never back down if he must. he will never run from a fight, but is not easily baited. He will defend those who cant defend themselves. He is also a great music lover and has a somewhat decent voice.

Equipment

Jol wields Ennugiel (enn-new-jee-el), the Abyssal Blade. This blade was created from dark matter and is immensily powerful. it reads the mind of its master, Jol, to perform impossible techniques. It can also split down the middle to form two rapier like broadswords. When split, Ennugiel becomes much faster with lesser power, but with Jol's skills, this is irrelevent. He also is relearning his magic, which he still mostly uses by reflex, leading him to trouble. He can easily overpower any opponent.

History

Jol's history starts fromt he very beginning. When the universe first came into creation, the gods who were created were doomed to fight an all out war for dominance. Jol, one of the more prominent and powerful of the bunch, slew god after god. Sensing the Goddesses, Din, Farore, and Naryu were little threat due to the lack of fighting, he left them alone. Thousands upon thousands of old gods were slain by Jol's hand. At the end of the war, the Goddesses took the opportunity to both seal away all that remained of the war int he sacred realm and to created the world that would guard it. They created the TRiforce to keep the war and its combatants sealed away. However, due to Jol's far more superior power and strength, escaped by trading his immortal form for a mortal being. Because this new form was not nearly as strong as his True self, the only skill that remained unchanged or unlimited was Jol's swordsmanship. This ritual claimed a majority of his magic, his power...and his memories. The transfer from one realm to the other, from body to body, took thousands of years, until the sacred realm was reopened by the Hero. The transfer complete, Jol, awakens within the spirit temple, which was created to shield his body from his soul. Jol now wanders in the desert, following a series of wierdly shaped flags and a shadow. He hears women's shouts and sees a gate of some sort. What can this be...?

So begins...
