Room 208

After the brief introduction, Cecil wove through the hallways with little trouble as he searched for Room 208. After entering, Cecil wasted no time in settling down, as he removed his cap and pocketed it into his satchel, to which he then placed in the corner of the room. However, it was his roommate he was waiting for. A young man named Luken, from what the lady had told him.

Though Cecil could only wonder what sort of person Luken would be, he soon diverged from his original train of thought, and took a survey about his room again. Hopefully, it wasn't a dull dorm beyond its basic furniture.

But he doubted as he looked about. It was a hope that would disappear.

Cecil decided that he would explore for a bit, if it didn't trouble his still-absent roommate. But for the absence of an introduction, what would Cecil leave behind? Surely not money; any student from the House of Sunlight would possess more than enough pocket-change to purchase even the outrageously expensive amenities of top-tier shoppes.

An apology would be more appropriate, Cecil then decided.

Briskly, with little time to waste, he obtained a piece of parchment and a dipping pen from his satchel's inventory, and wrote a short note :

"To Whoever It May Concern,

Well met, my roommate! I am Cecil M. Tudor, your roommate (who is now absent from the room), and I look forward to spending the whole year with you! The reason being that I am absent is because I have decided to ramble about the campus grounds, so feel free to rendezvous at luncheon or choose either bed in this room. You may find that I will be a blue-eyed, gray-haired boy with a very feminine look, but do not mistaken me for a lady. I assure you, I am as male as any man will be. Should you find me, perhaps I can extend my full apologies for leaving you behind, now or later.
