Zira fell, the Outlanders rejoined the Pridelanders, and all seemed well for a time.
And then they came.
Three brothers, raised in the Outlands, who had not joined with the Pridelanders. Together, they had swept through the lands beyond the Pridelands, stealing lionesses everywhere they went. By the time they reached the Pridelands, they led an army of lionesses two times as large as Simba's pride.
In only a few short days of battle, everything fell down around Simba.

Now, life at Pride Rock is dark, serious. Strictly controlled by the three brothers and a council of their most loyal lionesses, the lions of Pride Rock live to hunt for their captors. And they have no hope of escape; they believe Simba's entire family to be dead.

The truth is, Simba and his family have fled. They have retreated to the borderlands, to lie in wait, until the cubs of the royal family are old and strong enough to rise with them, and strike the Brothers back.
