VITAKINESIS: The Mitra's were exceptional healers on Aurum and Anjali inherited much of her talents from her parents. Anjali can manipulate the healing process, speeding any or all aspects even to the point of regenerating whole limbs. Opposingly her powers can also work backwards such as slowing or blocking the healing process. Anjali not only can heal others but herself as well, being able to regenerate and heal even the nastiest of wounds. She can simply make the body heal at an accelerated rate, rather than have the healing come from an outside source of energy. As for limitations go Anjali's are quite troublesome when it comes to performing her job. For one, she can only heal someone by touch, she can't heal a person's wounds from far away or even if they stand right next to her. There has to be contact or her powers won't work. Larger wounds take longer to heal which is expected but can sometimes be a hassle. Anjali has never been able to heal any mental wounds and her powers are strictly limited to physical. Unfortunately, Anjali cannot bring back the dead, the person has to have some shred of life left for her to be able to heal.
MEDICAL OMNISCIENCE: On Aurum, Anjali was instantly able to discern a person's health status and history, such as broken bones, illnesses, or even things such as near-sightedness.
ENVIRONMENTAL PURIFICATION: While her father was the healer in her family, her mother focused more on the purification and cleanliness of Aurum itself. Anjali is able to purify/refresh entire environments and environmental systems, allowing them restore and undo any/all damage caused by pollution, poisons/toxins, etc. Anjali's application converts all lethal and harmful elements back into healthy ones or simply absorb them and break them down completely into non-toxic byproducts.

APPEARANCExxxA slender figure and dark complexion make Anjali and rather strikingly beautiful individual. Her long, silky black hair is typically held up in a ponytail or bun to keep it out of her face. Large, doe brown eyes accentuate her soft, warm features and her fairly long eyelashes complete her innocent appearance. Anjali's mother always stated that she could give light to the entire planet with just her smile. Her skin is fairly dark, with a bronzy undertones and contrast wonderfully with her perfect white teeth. She has a full set of lips, and is often wearing just the slightest amount of gloss on them, as she's not big on makeup.
Anjali is a fairly fashionable individual. Her style is very up-to-date and modern, seeing as she has never had a problem with money on Aurum. She is a fan of floral and bright colors, and doesn't have a preference when it comes to form-fitting or loose clothing. Her aesthetics are mainly things that compliment her skin tone such as reds, oranges, plums, and pearls. Shockingly, Anjali often wears quirky pairs of glasses as well to go with her "halfway-thrifty" outfits. And yes, her eyesight is perfect.

With perhaps the most perceptive, unfiltered view of anyone, Anjali has a unique skill in noticing small changes. Whether a shift in facial expression, a new style, or a broken habit, she can pick up on hidden actions and motives where most people would be lucky to pick up anything specific at all. She tends to use these observations, calling out the change and asking questions, most often out of worry or curiosity. Anjali constantly has to remind herself that not everyone wants their secrets and lives broadcast. She is almost too caring in a way.
When around her friends and even strangers she often adopts the role of the "mom" character. Her widespread arms are always searching for someone in need and she practically can't help it. Anjali can be quite stubborn when someone refuses her advice or help, sometimes for the sole fact that she hates being disagreed with. As a healer, the pacifist attitude she takes on is for a reason. Her job is to make others feel better, and she drives most of who she is on that simple principle. Of course, her calming persona comes naturally to her but her mother always taught her that a calming demeanor will always pacify a person in distress.
Anjali is full of compassion and energy, and is truly hard to forget once you've met her. She prides herself on her ability to comfort those in need - as it's whats she's good at. The girl can sometimes be a bit naive and definitely overbearing without knowing it, but it all comes from a good place.

On a bright summer day the couple welcomed Anjali, a bubbly and bright baby girl. From a young age, Anjali was constantly helping whether it be with her father in the clinics or her mother in the greenhouses. She learned from the start that her purpose was to serve others well being and was quite popular amongst the patients and patrons due to her persona. Anjali had a knack for making people happy.
When the war hit, everything changed for Anjali. It was the first time she really witnessed the harsh reality that the war brought. She went days without sleeping as the doors to her parent's clinic were flooded with people three steps from death. It was the first time she was truly scared for her home, and truly heartbroken. It took every ounce of her determination to help the people around her to just not break down into a puddle of tears.
When news of the ship came Anjali fought her parents about leaving. She wanted to stay, help, it was all she'd ever known. Anjali was devastated to leave her parent's behind, but in the end had no other choice. Her mother gave her a small pendant, a Sūryamukhī, a sunflower. It was her nickname ever since she was a child. Anjali has never taken it off.
On Earth she was taken in by a family in Bangladesh who practically had nothing. With a little help from her abilities she was able to help them grow a successful farm in which they acquired some wealth. After she grew old enough, she studied Agriculture and began traveling East Asia teaching seminars on farming and planting. When she learned about the meteor she didn't give it a second thought. She thought of her mother, her father, her planet and packed her things and left.
