Alex woke up slowly his wings still out. He retracted them and looked around the room. He saw his pet
Bon Bon in his cage running on his wheel. The poor thing was an active pet but you couldn't quite have a lovebug running around here. He came up with a spell but he had no time to use it right now, at least not until the others woke up. He looked at the corners of the room. One held his bow beside it's quiver both losing losing their golden gleam. Beside it laid a silver scythe, it belonged to Styx. He had won it in a bet with her a few decades back and their rivalry doubled since she had lost her weapon.
Alex stretched then walked out of his small room in the back of the café. He went down the hall then knocked on his each of his angel's doors. "Wake up time to get too work." he said then went to the bathroom and commenced getting ready. He took a shower and on the counter he kept his clothes. He looked into the mirror and sighed as he ran his fingers through the dark black hair he now had. He missed his blonde locks of hair all smoothed down but now his hair would only stay in this ridiculous fashion that the demons would wear theirs. He despised it with his all his heart. He got dressed and put on a simple black jacket over a striped white shirt and a pair of jeans.
After about ten minutes he emerged from the back room and into the main room where he turned on the lights then a small switch which let music pour in through speakers in the walls. "Ah amazing." he said listening to James Blunt's
"You're Beautiful" an amazing song in his opinion and it was almost always the day's first song. He went to the door and flipped the closed sign to open then went back and started to sip on a cup of Cariad he had been brewing all night. It was hard to make since it was made of mostly heavenly plants and since they were on Earth they took longer to make into the blend he liked.
He started to wipe down the counter as he had always done hoping the people from yesterday came back again today. He went to a small oven and pulled out a
cake. It wasn't his favorite but it did taste very good in the morning. He sliced himself off a piece and began to eat slowly. Waiting for people to start inside the door.
