Alisia: "Clack, Clack, Clack" that was all that could be heard in my room. The keys were moving at lightning speed. Not that it mattered, I would write a few paragraphs and then delete them, rinse and repeat. I had my headphones on, blaring some soft rock hoping to set the mood for a good writing day.

No such luck.

I had some writer's block and I had it bad. Nothing seemed to be flowing, and with the deadlines quickly approaching, It was too much stress to bare. Frustrated, I threw my headphones on the desk, and quickly changed into something a little sexier. Hopefully a night on the town would help smooth some things over.

Jason: The music was loud, but as always it seemed the people were louder. I was doing my best to keep everyone happy, but with the amount of booze in everyone's system it was going to be impossible. Thankfully, that is what bouncers were for.

About that time, a regular walked in the door, her red hair almost seemed to be a blaze. She was beautiful as always. She walked up to the bar and smiled. They were contagious. I found myself smiling as well.

"Don't you have a book to write or something?" I yelled over the music.

"Shut up and pout me a beer!" her tone was kidding. I rolled my eyes and handed her the usual. She took a large drink from her bud-light with lime.

"That's the stuff." She smiled.

"How's your sister?" I asked.

"Which one?" She gave me a ridiculous look which let me know I was asking a stupid question. I gave her a look that let her know she should know which one I was taking about. She laughed.

"Bailey is fine."

Alisia:

Silly bartender, he should just buck up the courage and talk to the girl. I refused to think about anything else but my beer. I just knew that not having sent in anything my publisher would be calling to check up any time now. Until then I was going to drink as many of these beers as I could.

Natalie Ava Moore

As she stepped into the elevator of her home, Natalie breathed a sigh of relief and directed her index finger towards the button on the wall labelled with a small neon yellow 3. Another day at high school, just as much torture as any the one before, over. Another day closer to graduation.
Most people struggled to understand why she wanted to leave so badly, and, if she was honest...she was't really all that sure, either. On one hand, she was the youngest child in the family...none of her sisters were still at school, and she'd be the last to leave and start her own life and career, which was something some of them seemed to think was better. But there was that small part of her that never failed to remind her that, when this day came, she'd probably still not have the first idea about what she wanted to pursue as a career. In reality, it scared her.
But, nevertheless, now wasn't the time to be worrying about the future. The only thing that needed to be on her mind right now would be what she was planning to do tonight. She had to plan where she was going to go, who she'd invite, what she was going to wear...
As if sensing her thoughts, she heard the familiar ding of the elevator reaching her floor and hopped out as the doors opened, then crossed the hall to her bedroom. Once inside, she threw her bag down onto her bag and immediately made her way to the full length mirror on the opposite wall, taking a few moments to inspect herself and check she still looked okay. She'd considered changing out of her blue and white cheerleading uniform as she took a look at it in the mirror, but abandoned the idea and nonchalantly smoothed it down instead, knowing her boyfriend, who would probably be here soon enough, wouldn't really care if she was still dressed for school when he arrived. The same applied to her hair, tied into a tight blonde ponytail at the top of her head to be kept out of her eyes during cheerleading practice that afternoon. She had to admit...together, it made her look kind of cute.
With a small smile she flopped down onto her bed, pulling her mobile phone out of her pocket and texting a few friends while she waited for Ashton to arrive.

The door to Seth's apartment opened and he walked inside, holding a steaming cup of Starbucks coffee in one hand and his keys in the other, his laptop bag slung over his shoulder. His day had been slightly more stressful than normal; filled with dull and unimportant meetings which he'd already forgotten the subject matter included in the moment he walked out of the door. Coffee had been his lifesaver...without it, he'd have completely crashed and burned.
However, there was still a hint of happiness to his voice as he called back to another resident of the building to thank them for holding the staircase door open for him, a slight spring in his step as he made his way over to his desk. Today was the day Alisia, one of the writers he had chosen to take on in his publishing business, was due to send him some of her newest work. Somehow, even though her work was serious and sophicated, it always made him smile. She had real talent in this business...a way with words...and he'd sensed it straight away from the first time she'd brought any of her work into his office. Not to mention she was a lot of fun as a person in general, and she was kind-hearted. And her beauty was something out of this world...
He always looked forward to her sending him some new stuff. She never failed to suprise him.
Perhaps that was why he was so disappointed when he checked his email enthusiatically to find that no mail from her had been sent. No new message, and he'd checked the regular mail box, the spam, and even the trash mail just to make sure. She always managed to keep up with deadlines...why hadn't he managed this time? Maybe it was just writer's block...he'd heard it sometimes got that bad where you just couldn't write anything at all...
Lifting out his phone from one of the compartments in his laptop bag, he dialled her number and put the phone to his ear, his smile returning slightly as he heard the noise telling him she'd picked up.
"Hey there, my little Superstar...how are you? I just checked my mail, and I noticed you haven't sent anything new in to me today, so...I was just calling to see if you're alright..."

Alisia:

The redhead was just downing her third beer when she felt the vibration of her phone. She groaned, not wanting to have to make excuses for herself.

"That would be the publisher?" asked Jason in his knowing way.

"Yeah, so it would seem." Alisia walked out side so that she could hear him over the music.

"Hey...." She answered guiltily.

"Hey there, my little Superstar...how are you? I just checked my mail, and I noticed you haven't sent anything new in to me today, so...I was just calling to see if you're alright..."

His little superstar. It seemed Seth was always calling her little pet names like that. She rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Your little superstar huh?" She asked flirtatiously. Finally she sighed. "I don't feel very superstar like right now." She was feeling the alcohol a little to much, a consequence from drinking too fast.

"I can't get anything done. Writer's block I guess. But I'm not dead or anything if that is what you were wanting to know."

Seth Collins

Seth worked hard to supress a small laugh as he heard the flirty nature of the beginning of Alisia's sentence, and rolled his eyes. He couldn't help but smile and relax a little when she chose to joke around with him, and he knew that was probably just why she did it in the first place.
"No, no..." He replied, eventually letting the laugh out at the comment about her not being dead. I wasn't...I mean, I didn't...I didn't mean that, as such...I just wanted to know if everything was okay writing-wise...but writer's block can be a bitch...that's one thing I'm fully aware of..."
Seth had once aspired to be a writer, back in his high-school days, but the writer's block eventually got the better of him and he'd given up not long after.
"But...just as long as you're fine and that's all that's wrong..."

Natalie Ava Moore

Natalie's smile broadened when she heard the elevator doors open down the hall, and then again as she laid eyes on Ashton as he came into view by the door.
"Aww...I missed you too..." She felt a slight blush rise in her cheeks as he kissed her cheek, and then flipped over onto her stomach to look up at him, swinging her legs slightly in the air. "And...not so good, really...some of the girls picked for this year's squad are nowhere near as good as we thought they were, which means it's my job to teach them how to, well...not suck...plus, it's always better when you and the guys are there to watch us..."
She wasn't so sure if said girls were actually really bad at cheerleading, or were just saying that so they'd get a bigger reputation boost through spending time with her. She didn't quite know why they'd do that in the first place, but she was popular and it had happened before, so she didn't completely rule the option out. One thing she did know was true was the last thing she'd said, however. Cheerleading practice was better with Ashton there. As Natalie had quite a high self-esteem, she wasn't embarrassed about flaunting herself around in a short skirt all day at school... to do it in front of her boyfriend just made her feel even more confident. Plus, there was the fact that with Ashton, she was completely smitten anyway.
